Boba tastes different and it was great. They offer food too but I didn’t get them. Looks good though. Seems like the food is also a hit since people kept walking in and orders them. Please check the menu because I’m not sure what it’s called. I want to call them waffle dogs. Looks like it. The only thing for sure is it’s expensive. Not something you’d get everyday because for sure it will be a budget breaker. We ordered the Taro drink and I had the fruity boba which has real fruits inside the drink.
This is my nephews and I’s favorite boba 🧋 spot down the street from our home. We come here often for an afterschool snack for them. We enjoy the popcorn chicken, the mozzarella kawaii dogs, the thai milk tea boba and the signature milk tea boba. The best spot in Fullerton 🫶🏽
Always a good time here. Had the popcorn chicken for the first time. A smidge salty, but went great with the sweet and spicy dipping sauce. Plus, it was crispy. No boba available due to fresh batch taking 20 minutes. Got the 1st drink, Mt. Evermilk. Can't recall what I've had so I'll probably start going down the list of signatures. Usually just what I need.
After reading positive online reviews, our family stopped at Kawaii Boba Tea House to try boba tea for the first time. So happy we did! The shop was clean and bright with ample seating, and the lady working the counter was extremely nice and very patient as we read the menu and made our choices. Ordered 4 boba teas: Mango Sunrise, Fluffy Taro, Matcha Cloud and Midnight Berries. They were all truly delicious! Definitely recommend this place and look forward to going back.
Always love to come by here for a treat. Their teas and smoothies are pretty good. The thing I really like is they are open about their offerings of how much sugar and ice you want in the mix in order to maximize your preferences. Wait times can be a bit long if they are busy as everything is made to order, but the overall operation seems very good.
Super cute place! We ordered the Matcha Milk Tea and the Peach Fruit tea. I would've liked the matcha with oat milk but unfortunately they don't do the matcha with oat milk as they do with other drinks on their menu. Before we even walked in the delicious smells of the place welcomed us. Overall the drinks were really good and we will be coming back.😋
First time coming here, I got the Matcha Oreo smoothie with boba. Was super excited about getting the cup with the ears. Was Not disappointed. The cup is actually extremely sturdy, enough that you can wash it out and keep it at home and reuse it. The drink itself was good. Strong matcha flavor, the oreo made it more of a chocolatey powdery kind of addition to the matcha. I think next time I'll go for a regular matcha cloud with some toppings or something fruity. I feel a little let down by the matcha oreo because there wasn't any creme or chunks of oreo. When I get something that's Oreo based I want it to either have the CHONKS of the cookies n creme in it or have some sort of creme to it. This just kind of had a chocolatey cookie powder, I think they were just extremely finely blended oreo cookies (no creme) in with the matcha smoothie. DON'T GET ME WRONG, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I was just expecting something different, that's all. I came here shortly after opening. We actually showed up shortly BEFORE opening, around 12:15 ish. Didn't know they opened so late! 🤷🏽 1pm on Fridays, so we got lunch, and came back around 1:45, and when we ordered and got our drinks the boba at the bottom was HOT! Since this was our first time I don't know if this is a regular thing, like how often they make their boba, if they small batch it, so they can try to get it as close to per-order or what, but holding it for too long was burning my hand, that's how fresh the boba was. If I wasn't so full from having lunch, I'd have gotten a waffle to try as well. Next time, I've gotta get one! The employee behind the counter was not only extremely nice and patient as we decided what we wanted, but was very helpful in describing drinks, what's reccomended, differences in drinks, etc. Very knowledgeable on the subject. I assume they've probably had quite a few milk teas and smoothies along the way 😜. The interior of Kawaii Boba is very clean, with a cute, modern, minimalist decor. The couches and chairs are comfortable, the space is well lit. They maintain their own face mask required policy, which I appreciate, being immunocompromised.
Finally visited a Kawaii Boba TeaHouse. Was heading to Urban Air for my daughters mini birthday celebration with her 3 friends, Wanted to take the girls for boba & dessert before the indoor playground and we can take the drinks inside the play area. Right when we walked in, was promptly greeted w a smile by a lady name Van. She was the owner. So friendly and it was my 1st time at a Kawaii boba shop. So she really help mee chose my daughter & her friend drinks Saw on Yelp how they offer bubble waffles also. Something my daughter loves while enjoying her boba with her friends. They have so many different varieties of boba, teas, milk teas & Slushy options. Even have snacks too like popcorn chicken and much more, What we ordered ~ # 1 Mt. Evermikj is a slush base drink. My daughter was looking for like a brown sugar type of drink and they only had it in a slushy version. Got it 75% sweetness and it was perfect. ~ # 10 strawberry creamsicle was good. 75 % sweetness level was perfect. It it with Poppin boba and it was good. Girls enjoyed the drinks ~ Lychee Fruit tea is good. Refreshing and not overly sweet. Has actual lychee fruit & bits. I really enjoyed it. Boba is good, chewy and on point. Their boba was warm and something my oldest son loves. Warned boba served. Love the fact you can adjust the sweetness level on the drinks Such a cute boba Tea shop to hang out, play board games (that’s available here at the shop) & celebrate a milestone w great friends. Love the vibrant pink wall, coach, chairs & table accents. The shop is really clean and big spacious. Lots of area to hang out. Located in the Fullerton Metrocenter shopping plaza. Next to Sameera wax salon & Oahu Hawaiian Bbq. Same plaza as Target Store & Urban Air Indoor playground. Lots of parking available. I'll definitely aim to stop by again since they have popcorn chicken and would love to try that. Our family loves popcorn chicken & boba drinks Especially they plan to have a Re Opening celebration this upcoming Tuesday w a special promo 11.11.25
Drinks are so tasty, made with real fruit. Customer service is great. Brian was very helpful in guiding us on our first time there and open to suggestions and comments. Will definitely be back to try new drinks and food.

Galaxy Milk tea for mom, strawberry-banana with boba for the girls, matcha milk tea for dad (no pic). Strawberry banana was a bit too sweet for me but girls liked it. I'd go half sweet next time. Bubble waffles were also good, warm and crunchy fresh off the waffle maker 😋 we tried original and strawberry 🧇
Literally found this by chance and let me say I am going to be a regular customer. This is the best boba smoothie I've ever had period don't hesitate give this place a try and you'll be just as amazed as I am am
Delicious boba drinks! Yummy popcorn chicken..the fries don't have real melted cheese its more the cheese powder..taste like cheetos..but my daughter liked them.
Always clean and a great environment. This is definately our go to place for boba and snacks
Lowkey mid not gonna lie. Barista recommended some weak ah drink. Still 5 stars
We love everything about this place! The customer service, food choices and especially their boba! Highly recommended! Their owner, John is also the best!
Great customer service the drink are great! Oh, and the Koren corn dogs are awesome.
Their Jasmine Green Milk Tea was delicious! The boba was fresh and had a great texture too.
Super cute so delicious!!
Went here for the buy 1 get 1 free opening special, did not disappoint! Tried the oreo milk tea with pearls as i haven't seen this combo at other shops, it was very tasty. Customizable sweetness and ice levels. Staff was very friendly and processed order quickly, I would recommend giving them a try.
Today was my third time this month coming here, and I absolutely love the bubble waffles here! I like to get the chocolate chip Boba, the texture and the flavor is delicious!
Don't be discouraged by their *closed* sign outside, try to open the door first, because they are definitely open and serving awesome drinks, perfect for the sunny LA weather in January. Signature milk tea did not disappoint. It's buy one, get one free until 01/24/2021, so hurry up and try!
Kawaii Boba Teahouse is my to go to when my family is craving a boba drink. My kids love their slush drink with rainbow jelly and boba. Pairs that with their Strawberry and Taro bubble waffle. My wife loves their Fluffy Taro, Mango Sunrise, and choconut. I enjoy getting their Midnight milk tea, Matcha milk tea, and Signature milk tea. Ohh .. and of course their Vietnamese Coffee is to die for! For snacks, their egg rolls and popcorn chicken is FIRE!!! My 2 1/2 years old loves their BBQ fries. OVERALL excellent place for drinks and snacks. Definitely rate them a 5 STAR!!!
It was super nice! I refreshed so much
Every time I come here it’s hard to only choose one flavor drink 😅 Recently I really been enjoying either their taro flavor or choconut. I also can’t leave without ordering their fries, strawberry bubble waffle and macarons
The coffee is really good I highly recommend
Everything is delicious and made to order, and the food portions are amazing for the price. I recommend the cheese fries, 3 of us split them with the popcorn chicken and were all happy!
Delicious the dip was the most refreshing flavorful! Definitely would recomend!
I love the strawberry matcha drink! So good everyone should go try!
The drinks are delicious! The service was so friendly and efficient. The drinks are also so beautiful! I got a midnight milk tea and a paradise fruit tea, both recommended by the employee. Super good!! I also, was there when a homeless man came in asking for a cup of ice. The employee treated with respect and kindness. That adds so much value to me. I've encountered that scene before in other establishments and it's left me appalled!
Always have a great experience with all the staff and I really enjoy their boba
I tried the signature milk tea and it was amazing! Such amazing staff too!
Has to be one of the best kobi bowls I've ever had. Try the macaroon type ice cream sandwich. Conveniently located by the hospital and simply a wonderful food find.
Amazing boba. Really nice staff and super quick. Would recommend.
smooth n sweetest thai tea ive had. 12/10
The drinks here were very tasty with plentiful amounts of boba. The atmosphere was very welcoming and warm.
Pretty place and the food and drinks are really good.😊
Wanted to try a new place, saw Kawaii was having their grand opening. Ordered 2 Milk Teas w/ light ice. The milk tea tastes really good in comparison to others. Boba texture is really good! Not soft but not too hard either. Got my order pretty quick and was out the door. Look forward to trying it again.
The milk teas are so good and the staff are extremely friendly!
Best boba ever!! Great customer service as well!
So good! We love Kawaii! Authentic and delicious!
I had a great time chillin with friends here. The place is really fancy and kawaii. They serve amazing and tasty teas. Plus, the staff are very respectful and polite.
I love they support artists! Staff are incredibly nice!! I come here a lot when I'm in the area. Super good. The entire atmosphere is warm, cute and welcoming.
i went here 2x this week! i loved the boba lids so much🫶🩷 they had little cat ears on them! the strawberry waffle was scrumptious!
This place is legit. I’ve been to over 50 different boba shops and kawaii tea house is definitely one of the top! I had the midnight berry smoothie(came in a cute cup), and the super fruit tea, and bubble waffles Must give it a try if you’re in the area!
Cute new place! The boba had some “sprang” to it as my brother says haha! It’s soft and sweet - definitely good quality honey boba. The mango green tea uses real mangoes and no syrup which tasted really good! Pretty average prices ($4.50 for a large sized fruit tea). The worker we had was helpful and friendly. They also give you cups made of harder plastic with a cute little corgi on them. I would definitely come here again for more! 😌
Great service, super friendly staff and excellent food!
Best Bobba within a 100 mile radius. The honey boba is full of flavors. The crew is awesome. The owner is cool.

Kawaii Boba is phenomenal!! My favs by far (I’ve tried half of the menu) are the Mount Evermilk and the Matcha Cloud. 10/10 for both. BEWARE: the Matcha Cloud is FULL OF BEANS and I’d recommend subbing the beans out for pudding. The bubble waffles are pleasant and light - I’ve had the chocolate flavor. Yummy 😋
I got the Midnight Milk Tea (which I have never tried) and it was great! Not too sweet, the boba itself was really good, and it had tiny ice which I love. Plus my drink was made really fast! I’d recommend. (Although they said they can only use milk substitutes for jasmine and matcha milk tea, so that could be an issue for some. Maybe the other teas don’t contain dairy? Confused).
Thank you so much, for this taro milk tea, he also explain to me, how they made the taro, and it’s incredible, also their customer service it is so good and very kind everyone, also his wife she was super nice with others.
Tried it for the first time excellent service! The boba was good and so was the hotdog!
best tea shop ever! staff was very sweet and helpful and had really good costumer service, i will be returning soon :)
Harry is very friendly and accommodating! He provided great service and recommended the Matcha Strawberry, which was really good. The Fluffy Taro was absolutely the best, and the chocolate chip waffle is unforgettable! Highly recommend this place and Harry’s suggestions!
even on my worst days Kawaii boba turns my day around 💓 sweetest customer service boba flavors are always fresh I’ve been reading some comments say they take a while but I haven’t experienced long wait times If it is I don’t notice because it’s so yummy and you can personalize drink flavors the kawaii dog mozzarella snack 💓💓💓 (enough said) haha 😋😋😋 I don’t get boba often More as treat and I’m very picky so just trust me ✨✨💓💓 Also the inside is all pink 💓

Our little group wanted to grab some cold nonalcoholic drinks after hitting a few breweries in the OC area. The gf's chose this place & it worked out well. Item's ordered: Matcha Milk Tea, Jasmine Tea (50% sweet) & Vietnamese Coffee Taste: My Vietnamese Coffee was the type I categorize as the "less authentic" version of what you get made by the "Vietnamese auntie" at those places don't usually even speak English. Not that the coffee here was bad at all, I still enjoyed it. Just that it seems Vietnamese Coffee at these more trendy, Instagramable, etc, places is usual just more sweet & too weak coffee flavor than the "real" stuff that I love. If you're just looking for a good latte type coffee drink, this drink should work well for you. The Jasmine Tea (50% sweet) was executed very well mainly because it was exactly what it was supposed to be. Meaning the jasmine tea flavor was strong & present, the 50% sweetness we asked for was a subtle, not overbearing sweetness. This was a really refreshing drink on a hot day. The Matcha Milk Tea was overall well done. Boba was chewy, not hard or mushy. While the sweetness & matcha flavors were well balanced. Service & parking: Service was was very nice when we placed our orders. This always just makes your drinks taste somewhat better. Two wins for the places is the use of crushed ice & the decor. I'm a sucker for crushed ice in my drinks, it always just makes me enjoy it more. & Props to this place & it's Kawaii interior decor. It's a cool look & honestly the environment of a places just enhances the experience. Parking was very easy since there is large parking lot providing spaces to many other businesses such as Target.
Dropped by this place after Disneyland a year ago. Have been looking for a regular place closer to where we normally visit in OC. Forgot where this was located until we were looking for a boba place close to Disneyland again. Our favorite thing here is the bubble waffle. We tried to go on Black Friday but they were closed :(. Next time we go I will update with a more comprehensive review but I remember being content with everything we got the first time. I remember they were either understaffed or something the first time because there was a decent amount of customers and it took a while to get our food. June 2023 Went back again. Got a Brown Sugar Milk Boba which was pretty average and the Popcorn Chicken. The chicken pieces were of a good size. The pricing was above average but the portion was also above average. Though the chicken tasted good they don't really season them but instead offer various dipping sauces. I personally don't care for dipping sauces and would prefer the traditional spicy salt pepper seasoning that some boba places have (with basil). Seeing more places with the bubble waffle being offered now. When we initially went here, that was one of the items that made this place stand out.
A really cute place to grab some teas, slushies, coffee, and snacks. I only ordered the Kawaii Dogs aka Korean Corndogs, so I can't say how their drinks are, but their corndogs were good. It wasn't really any different from the many other places that now sell Korean corndogs so nothing to note here. I will say that it was my first time trying the Ramen covered corndog so I don't know how it compares to any others but it hurt too much to eat. Literally hurts as the ramen bits are fried, hence hard. Sharp ramen bits makes it hard to bite into, and once you do, they jab your mouth. I had to cut it up into small bite size pieces to finish it. On top of that, the fried ramen bits made it a little dry. I would not order this again. Overall, I would come back if I was in the area.
There are so many boba tea shops these days. This outlet is fine but is not outstanding in a major way. I thought the boba was a too mushy and sticky to the teeth. Also the price is higher than average with $7 being the typical price with a boba topping. There is plenty of seating inside if you want to linger. Cute is the theme inside the shop with cute anime drawings of characters drinking boba tea on the walls.

Would have been nice to get more boba especially considering this was a more expensive drink 🥲. Taste good though.
Good Vietnamese coffee, not to sweet
Friendly customer service. Fresh and soft boba. We like that their drinks are not too sweet. Enjoyed the cheese fries too
Milk tea was amazing! Would get again ❤️😊
Nice decor inside, match the kawaii theme , drink is fine and the egg waffle is good.
Still my go to boba spot in Fullerton They have enough variety of tasty treats to crispy munchies that will help you get through the day. You gotta stop by when you are in the area. #worthit
Drinks taste great, love the snacks especially kawaii dogs, I wish they opened earlier but they are worth the slight wait. Place is always clean and the employees are very friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming as well. BUT when you order online they wait for you to come to the store to pickup to start preparing the order so that defeats the purpose of ordering ahead to save time. And the owner parks her cyber truck in a handicap zone without handicap plates or signage displayed.
Nice tea selection but definitely need free wifi and chilli for popcorn chicken
Their milk teas and macarons are not overly sweet nor overly plain. But they also lack depth of flavor. The inoffensiveness makes it not great but also not bad.
February 2022 - Saturday night, short wait to order and for drinks to be ready. Understandable since it was busy. Food/Pricing - $5.29 for Rose Milk Tea. The price itself, for the size, isn't bad but it wasn't the best tasting Rose Milk Tea for me. Service/Ambiance - Cute place to hangout! There's a good amount of tables to sit and chat.
The quality has gone down. The flavors taste watered down. I don’t know what they were cooking or making but the grease smell was bad. The employees aren’t necessarily rude but they aren’t welcoming either.
got the super fruit one. did half sugar. it was very watery with little fruit or tea flavor. also didnt come with much aloe vera (less than normal at other places, even though I asked for double) main issue is they have very small ice , so when you suck to get boba you get a bunch of small bits of ice. ruins the boba experience imo. would recommend they use larger ice like every other boba spot to avoid that issue it was bad enough that I asked for a replacement thinking the flavor, aloe vera, and ice were a mistake or sloppy job. but next one came out the same im sure other drinks are good but maybe just not the spot for fruity drinks or slurping soft boba
Kawaii Boba Teahouse, a small mom and pop store in Fullerton, initially drew me in with its cute logo. However, I didn't think it was good. When you walk into Kawaii Boba Teahouse, they have drawings and art on the walls which are a mixture of boba puns and cute relationship scenes (of course with boba). I can definitely tell that they wanted to match their theme, logo, and name. Another thing that stood out to me was their one way walk signs - a good attempt in theory at helping with the spread of COVID. At the register, I ordered a basic Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba at 25% sugar and no ice. At the end of the transaction, I asked the employee if my drink would be cold, as that is my expectation when I order no ice, and he said it would be. However, he said he would double check. When he came out, he didn't acknowledge my question, and greeted some new customers instead. A little after that, my drink came out and I noticed that it was warmer than room temperature. I asked about it and the employee said it was probably because of the boba. At this point, I apologized for the inconvenience and asked if he could add some ice to make it cold. When I received the drink again, they added ice and he wished me a good day. In terms of the drink itself, I wasn't a fan. I usually get 25% sweetness to minimize sugar, but to also see the quality of the tea. Kawaii Boba Teahouse fell short. While I will give them a nod for not burning the tea or over-steeping it, as shown by the lack of bitterness or burnt elements, the tea flavor itself felt diluted. I couldn't really taste the floral flavor, but rather, I tasted more of the milk than anything. In addition, the boba itself was mediocre at best. I felt like they used lower quality boba than the ones I am used to in the San Gabriel Valley area, but also that they didn't cook it well. It had a more artificial taste and didn't have a good chewy texture. Overall, I didn't enjoy my experience. While it was nice that the employee helped me with my drink, I didn't like how he said he would double check and I didn't get a response. In addition, the boba and drink quality were less than average. In the end, using Google's star criteria, I disliked my experience which translates to a 2/5 from that rubric.
Ok, so after dinner, we went to get some Boba from the Kawaii Boba and chose 3 drinks from their top 10 menu list. Their #1 drink from their top 10 list was the Mt Evermilk... worst ever. Why is the boba drink SALTY? Did someone whoever made the drink mistakenly put salt instead of sugar? None of us could finish the drink. We all love to drink boba after our dinner out. But this was the top worst boba we ever drank. Could not take another sip of it and threw it out. Total waste of $7.50 Never going back.
I’m really sad and disappointed I’ve been waiting to get boba lately I do not have a car so I door dashed it and they forgot my tapioca is it really boba without tapioca? You also have to pay EXTRA ON DOORDASH for tapioca which I did I have the receipt and everything I did not get a refund from DoorDash… the drink is good but I’m just very sad and disappointed. I was looking forward to buying from this store I have no idea how it’s a boba store if they forget the tapioca and the lychee green tea drink only has lychee jelly in it in DoorDash it says aloe Vera which is different than lychee jelly which I did not want.
Might actually be the worst boba shop I have been to. Service was slow, food expensive, and I think we were served leftovers or something. The popcorn chicken looks nothing like the pictures, instead it looks like little bits of fried batter drenched in oil that tastes even worse than it looks.
I usually don’t leave reviews, but this is the worst boba place I’ve ever been to. First, it took so long to receive my order. The drink was ok, but the popcorn chicken was terrible and I couldn’t eat any more after the first bite. They taste old and they’re the size of crumbs. They were like little bits of old batter fried multiple times and at first I thought I received the wrong order because it tasted like weird seafood. The popcorn chicken looked nothing like the photos online. Safe to say I am never coming back and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

All of the top bobas here are horrendous...Everyone who left 4 stars and above haven't had good boba. Save yourself the time and money.
Drinks are good, service is the worst. The workers are so unprofessional. They prioritize gossiping in the back instead of doing their jobs. The entire dining room can hear their conversations, at one point a female worker was even screaming and moaning like her female parts were being tickled. The bathrooms are filthy and they will never get your order right because they are too busy gossiping in the back. They forgot to put the boba in several of the drinks in my order, which btw already took almost half an hour to make. I didn’t even bother complaining because who wants spit in their drinks right? I don’t usually complain or post bad reviews but this place needs to reevaluate their staff. People were standing in line to order while all of the workers were too busy talking in the back room, no one to attend to customers in front. What a joke
12/19/2024: I had high expectations when I first came in, especially when ordering the Galaxy Milk Tea, Midnight Milk Tea, Oreo Milk Tea, and Matcha Milk Tea. To my utter disappointment, my sister and nieces found all the drinks lacking flavor. As in, it tastes just like milk with little tea flavor and barely any sweetness. I have been looking forward to tasting Galaxy Milk Tea since the flavor description of Butterfly Pea Flower Jasmine Milk Tea sounds really good to me........ I'm not mad with our milk teas, just sad and disappointed.
My drink only had about 3 pieces of boba
So Food and drink both are great, but no anywhere pointed out that egg roll has shrimp in it. I called, and asked to speak to the manager got denied. I let the cashier know what happened (I am allergic to shrimp)and let him know I didn't called to ask for anything. Just wanna make sure they aware the situation and he responded with no sympathy whatsoever, and not apologizing for it as well. I don't think we will go there again.
If I could give 0 stars I would! I tried this place for the 1st time got 3 different drinks & they all sucked they didn't have any flavor whatsoever! I don't know who are these people that are rating them because they are BLAND. You want REAL boba go to Tisane in Westminister or Feng-cha you're welcome!!!
We ordered two drinks and it took over 20 minutes to make them.
I'm more of a boba aficionado than a boba connoisseur, but I can confidently say that this place was the most disappointing boba experience I've ever had. I went around 6:30pm, well before their 11pm closing time, and it was moderately busy. Somehow, they ran out of boba and didn't tell me until 15 min after I'd ordered. How does a boba shop run out of boba over 4 hrs before closing on a Saturday?? Anyway, I went with the crystal boba and waited for my fluffy taro milk tea and kawaii dog. It took almost 25 min from ordering to getting the items, which would have been acceptable if the line was out the door (spoiler, it was not). I actually had enough time to go grocery shop at sprouts. Then came the final blow: both the beverage and the food were pretty tasteless. I get not putting enough taro mix in the drink, but how they managed to make a hot Cheetos covered cheese dog bland is fascinating. Moral of the story: in this economy, go to a tried and tested boba chain...they may not be served in kawaii cups but at least you'll get what you expect.
