I ve been living in the United States for 16 months, and this is by far the best restaurant I ve been to so far the food, the atmosphere, and the staff are all absolutely perfect.
Update - We had dinner on March 3rd and received outstanding service from Chris! The food is delicious when enjoyed in the restaurant. The quality and taste has gone down. We order from this location regularly and their food flavors are not good at all. The burger meat was overcooked and tasteless. The salad was not good at all.
Such a great experience. All the employees were awesome and friendly. The food was fantastic and so were the drinks. The Titos strawberry lemonade was pretty watered down but I think they use freshly squeezed lemonade instead of regular lemonade so I think that played a part in the strength of the flavor. I highly recommend there Mac n cheese balls. Out of all the restaurants I've had Mac n cheese balls at, throughout my travels through the country, I have to say this place takes the cake when it comes to cheeseballs🤣. Wish I could've tried there many types of pizzookies but I was too full. They have a cinnamon roll pizookie, a chocolate chip pizookie, and a strawberry shortcake pizookie. Highly recommend as well. I came here with my dad on his work trip from Chicago. Next time I come to D.C., I will be making the trip back over here for another great experience.
Being a vegetarian, this is one of the most visited place for me . I have been going to BJ’s for almost 5 years now. I have tried in Houston, San Diego and now in Virginia, None of them disappointed us. This location was also good and kept the BJ's standard. The server patiently took our order and served everything hot. I usually eat Artichoke dip , vegetarian pizza ( Deep Dish ) , Brussels sprouts and of course theirs brewed beers which are awesome and must try. I usually like there Stouts beer which many won’t like them. But it’s my go to drink if I visit. And finally not to forget pizooki which is their must try desert 🤤
Great food and service. Very good place to eat, arrived and within 5 minutes we had a table for our large group. The waiter was very well organized and knowledgeable of the menu he answered all our questions and provided all we needed in a quick manner. I will visit this place again for another enjoyable outing with family and friends.
Thank you to Chris, who was our server Tuesday 7/22 approx 6:30 pm. Excellent happy hour and I hope to come back.
Huge selection! Always great food and atmosphere despite Covid. I love the food and drink selections. A welcome escape from the friction in our world. Let's all just get along!
My friend recommended coming here at first I wasn't sure about it. I thought it be just a burger place. I had ordered the sirloin steak, mash potatoes and Caesar salad. The salad was not basic! It was so delicious I wasn't expecting a good salad. The steak was seasoned well and cooked to my like. I also ordered a strawberry splash. If you never had one, you should definitely try it. Our waiter was very nice. The resturant itself had great lighting. Big open place not congested. The bathroom was up to date and clean.
Bella was the MVP bartender, very sharp and friendly. The food was really good, the beers were fantastic and the atmosphere was great.
Nice variety of options. Our server Jen was awesome. She kept coming back to make sure we were good. Food was yummy!
Delicious meal and great service made for a great time with family. The burgers are great here as well as the French fries, I will definitely be back!
We went for lunch. We had the parmesan crusted chicken which my mom enjoyed. The cold soba noodles with ahi tuna was very good. The bottom of the noodles has a cucumber salad layer that is very tangy. Not bad but a bit surprising. The restaurant had a vibrant lunch crowd. Make sure you have a sweater or light jacket they keep the place a bit cold. Also if you sit in the bar area you will want to sit towards the back wall to avoid the cold air that blows in everytime the take-out door opens. Overall we enjoy going to BJ's and will go back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So happy to have found BJs! Eating gluten-free is hard, but they have a great gluten-free menu with lots of options. The food is delicious, the staff is accommodating, and I finally have a regular place I can enjoy eating out. Highly recommend!
Austin is hands down the best waiter I’ve had in a long time. His energy and attitude is 10/10 and is overall an amazing person. He was super nice and genuine. If I had to recommend a waiter it would be him so if any of his managers sees this he deserves all the credit in the world. Thank you:)
Had a great experience with Stephanie and the manager. I wasn’t happy with the salad, but they were quick to replace and credit without question. Stephanie was sweet and polite and my little girls loved her
Good food. In house Beers are good. Rob S was excellent at serving us!👏
I enjoy the food at your restaurant and it was delicious and yummy. I definitely recommend this restaurant to the rest of my family and friends.
I guess you could say I go to this BJ’s from time to time… they really do have some champions here. Bella and Cole (not in any particular order) are my favorite Bartenders and consistently exceed the mark for customer service. They connect with me every time I’m in there and even if I’m not at the bar, they’ll still stop and give me a hello :D I come back because of them. If/When they move on from this job, there will be some big shoes to fill! The beer selection is always top notch, food is simply on point. Also, the team as a whole, seems like they care. Management walks around often and checks on patrons or to look how business is going.. A really great place! I truly suggest coming in and trying them out if you haven’t, or again if you didn’t feel it was a good
This location was phenomenal. Many of these chains can hit or miss but we were fortunate to get Ione (sorry if I got the spelling wrong ma’am). She did such a great job of making this experience. My son got a coupon for a Pizookie at school and she made him feel like a million bucks for his reading. The food was excellent and her sauce recommendations were fantastic. Thanks so much guys
We were a big group(10 adults & 8 kids) celebrating a birthday. We were aptly given a corner table away from the regular restaurant crowd. We were attended by multiple staff and each of them were great and accommodating. Special mention to Joe(relatively new based on my assumption) who was at his best trying to keep composure dealing with big crowd and a bit of customized order due to diet restrictions. I would highly recommend visiting the restaurant and calling ahead for reservation which made our visit even pleasant.
Very pleased with the service we received. We ordered food via door dash that arrived burnt. I called the store, and they could not have been nicer and more responsive. They issued a credit to our card. She even offered to personally bring us a fresh pizza. Definitely a fan.
My boyfriend and I dined in tonight and had a really great experience with our server Jahlil! he was extremely nice and very present throughout our dinner. He also was very polite and made sure we knew our food was being made and when it was getting brought over. Definitely returning because the service was great!
Drinks were ok, plenty of beer choices but a bit more limited for non beer drinkers (aside from the sweet cocktails). There are a lot of food choices, a bit overwhelming, and most people who do not have any food allergies would be fine finding a selection. It was a bit harder for a celiac, was able to find a wedge with grilled chicken, and as those go (unfortunately I end up eating those often) I would rate it 6.5/10. The others in my party indicated their meals were good, as were their drinks.
We had a very good server, but were disappointed in the drinks. The food was mediocre - the menu makes everything look bigger and much higher quality. If ordering drinks, only the super sugary drinks tasted good - the old fashioned was terrible and their signature martini was lackluster. For weekend nights, highly recommend calling ahead to get in the wait list.
Everything was wonderful but the wait time. We even called ahead for a wait list. Great salads, great food, kind staff, very clean. I would go again but I would make a bigger reservation some how. 30 minutes waiting and we called ahead...

When I arrived, I told the hostess 2 she said ok stand to the side and she gathered the menu and utensils. Showed us to a table but it was too small and we moved to another table. We set down, and it took about five to ten minutes to see the server we ordered drinks and a small pizza for an appetizer. We ordered our meals at the same time. Time from salads to app and then meals was well timed. The server was nice, but we had to ask for any drink refills and did not follow up after each table service from salad to app and then meal. I like the food, I feel the service could be better. I also feel that everything on the menu was expensive. Most meals are roughly in the low to mid-20s. Our check for small pizza, parmesan crispy chicken, and chicken parmesan with spaghetti was $100. with tax and a sweet tea and a soda. This was lunch and not dinner. I understand everything is expensive and if you don't like the price it is your choice.
The food here is pretty good BUT for its price, I would honestly prefer something else. The portions are definitely a plus because you do get a lot of food. I will also say that the fries are a fantastic side as they are incredibly crispy. The menu does have a few vegetarian options, but I would definitely not count on it; you will mostly be relegated to pizzas. The food is definitely heavy. I personally ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Again, the portion on it is extremely heavy but it is quite greasy. I will say thag the thickness of the chicken was good, as I prefer when it is not too thick. I also tried the pizookies which are better than I had expected. HOWEVER the fountain drinks taste horrible—incredibly metallically, the kind of aftertaste that can only come from poorly cleaned taps. Also, the host snapped at us for her own mistake of not calling our name. Service is definitely not amazing, but to be fair to the servers, we did come in on Saturday when it is busiest.
I’ve been going to this restaurant for a while and it’s alway a good vibe. The food is either mediocre or really good. I’ve tried enough of the menu to recommend this restaurant to other. The drinks are also very good.
"They sure do know how to waste food". That is what has stood out to me the past two visits. The first time many months ago, most of the food was good and the service was good too. But whoever was cooking the broccoli was just not having a good day. Half steamed under cooked broccoli. I asked waiter for new side of it, and he brings a new dish of "freshly-cooked" plate of more under cooked broccoli. Most have been a new cook on the line making that, cause that was the worst served broccoli I've ever encountered. Aside of that, everything else was fine. I decided to go back today for lunch. Waiter does a great job, helps me with my order, I get my food. It's great, my broccoli is wonderfully cooked! I need to go to bathroom. In no way possible does my table look like I am finished with my meal. Still a large portion of meal left. Well I get back to an altered plate. All dishes and straw trash on my food. Napkin moved. I alerted the hostess and she went to investigate, My waiter came back and explained what happened, they thought I was done eating. I was only gone for 4 minutes max. I hate that I have to ask for a new portion, and waste this. But I can't trust someone to say if they dropped a fork and then put it back on my food. Like I can't trust this food is safe now. Now, you waste food again. I got a new order of my food, which I do gotta say, was very good. It's the jambalaya, no shrimp, extra chicken. 10/10 I'm sure I'm just the one in a million kind of person that gets a double minor issue, but the fact something happened in back to back visits is odd. I'll visit again, but with the expectation that something could go wrong. Hate to say it, but it's what I think. It might just be a minor thing, but it'll likely happen to me. The food is really good, with options for all budgets for this type of restaurant.
Been here a few times, generally a good experience. The booths are very tight and the table part seems too big. Kind of hard to get in and out. Otherwise, the waitress was great, food was good, came out quick, overall a nice meal. Nice facilities. Keep it up! Get the protein bowl 👍
Food was very good. Wish they had more steak and dessert options but otherwise it's good. Orders were backed up due to the holiday - not surprisingly I didn't mind the wait but wish they just told you the correct time food would be ready and I wouldn't go to the restaurant 15 minutes before food was ready.
Their beer, ciders and wings are good. Wings were affordable, too. We tried the $5 wing special on a Wednesday night. We chose three types of bone in. Dill and ranch rub was our favorite. The sirloin was subpar- too thin for charged price and not cooked well. The steak lacked flavor and was fairly tough. It needed more prep time. My wife was disappointed. I was also disappointed in the New Orleans jambalaya. Multiple pieces of rice were not cooked, and hurt my teeth. One of my teeth was soar for several minutes. At first I thought it was small fragments of bone that were extremely hard, but then after multiple bites that hurt, I tried finding the piece instead of spitting it out. My daughter did enjoy the kids menu options. She chose the mini corn dogs and was pleased. Our waiter tried hard, but was clearly new. He forgot multiple things we asked for, and apologized multiple times. I liked his attitude despite difficulties so we tipped him well. It’s the effort and honesty that counts. I’ve heard people like BJ’s pizza cookies. I forget what they’re called, but apparently locals order the pizza cookies for pickup all the time. I’d consider coming back for wings and beer, but we wouldn’t return for dinner based on our first experience.
Great place for drinks and food. Pretty wide variety on the menu and of course fire pizookies EDIT: still good apps and food in general, but do not recommend the prime rib. Big waste of money and wasn’t cooked right at all. They say 12 hours and charge for that but I don’t buy it. Very disappointed for a birthday dinner. Should have gone to giant and cooked it myself.
Food was not fresh prepared. Aspargus and baked potatoes were reheated and tasted awful. The artichoke deep was also reheated, not prepared fresh. Drink was announced with fresh raspberries- it was just plain syrop. Each time I come to BJs food is turning to the worse.
We tried to order 6-7 beers that were not currently on draft. After using the QR code on the table and looking at the physical menu, we kept missing the mark as to what was actually available. Not sure if the draft list is updated by corporate, or if the management is responsible, but maybe more attention could be paid to the beer list since the word “Brewery” is part of your name. Also, I ordered an $18.00 Bbq Burger and the bbq sauce looked to be a circular smear of about an 1/8oz of an sauce, it was good but for that amount of money, maybe a little more attention to detail. Service was great, our server was on top of everything which brings me to the tip. I attached a picture below and I’m not sure if corporate does the math or the internal management but whoever did it is completely off. It seams there are various elements of daily operations that are leaving the staff under supported.
Went with the family. We were seated about 15 min past our reservation time. The apps came out fast, entrées a bit longer. Everyone seemed satisfied with their food. I ordered the Ahi tuna Asian salad- it was OVER-salted and had way too many large cut pieces of tomatoes. Not something I’ve seen in many Asian salads. Probably wouldn’t ever order that there again.
I’d like to start my review on a positive note. Our server who unfortunately I can’t quite remember the name of was great! She was very attentive and provided great service. The food itself, my partner enjoyed his smokehouse burger and I had ordered a ribeye that wasnt quite medium rare but I wasn’t going to make any complaints. I will say being someone who works in the service industry how crucial a host is to setting the tone for the entire dinner experience. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day in general but I would recommend some training on people skills and awareness with your host. She was completely dismissive, unwelcoming and lacked personable skills. Overall we did not let that ruin our evening and had a decent experience.
I ordered a mini pizza, full rack of ribs and pzookie. The only thing that was good was the mashed potatoes. The pizza looked like leftovers and the ribs looked like a solid slab of meat. It was chewy. Pzookie was flat and dry.
Apps were hot and prompt...2/3 entrees were cold...maybe a one off....but actually room temp. Service was generally poor (empty beers, empty waters, dirty plates) and kinda slow. All in all I'd come back if I was sitting at the bar, but won't be back to dine.
We’ve been to BJs several times but this most recent time was not favorable. They brought out my husband’s food and my sons food and then told me they didn’t have my order because they were out of what I ordered. I feel that they should have told me prior to everyone else’s food to come out, so I would have time to order something else. But they would have been done with their food before mine came out. Beyond unprofessional.
I've never had a waiter argue with me about the flavor of food. I ordered Nashville hot wings (the only sauce with a red pepper indicating the hottest) and honey-buffalo (medium). The Nashville hot wings had zero spice/flavor, just greasy wings and the honey-buffalo had the right amount of spice/heat. Obviously something went wrong in the kitchen. I told the waiter and he went into an incomprehensible diatribe about how wing sauce works instead of just taking them back. I reminded him to bring the bbq sauce I requested (he forgot) and left it there. The rest of the table was dumbfounded by his explanation. I've been enjoying hot wings since 1989, never had someone try to explain them before. In general, BJ's continues its steady decline. Food quality feels cheaper, service is weird, prices climb. Oh, yeah. Avoid the pizza. I think the crust is made from old Wonder bread dough.
The service was honestly the best part of our visit — our server was amazing, attentive, and very professional. Unfortunately, there were several issues that really affected the experience. All of the knives we received were dirty, which was pretty concerning. On top of that, I ordered my burger well done and it came out rare. We had to send it back, which took extra time. I really wanted to enjoy the meal because the staff was great, but cleanliness and food accuracy are basics that need to be handled better. Hopefully this improves in the future.
I was really craving a burger And halfway through eating it, I found the long hair in it. When I asked the manager about it, he just shrugged his shoulders and didn’t even apologize. My son went to eat burger today and it was super pink as if it was not even cooked and now he feels sick.
Ordered delivery of the spaghetti & meatballs for $27 & it came with no meatballs, & no breadstick. It was cold & an extremely small portion for $27. I was really upset as I was really looking forward to it since it’s a hard dish to mess up. But low & behold. I also received no plastic utensils. If I didn’t live in an apartment where I had access to other utensils, I would be screwed.
Shameful microwaved food. Almost warm food, it was the thought that counts I guess. Service was equally as bad. Server made no eye contact, no smile, tables not set, stuck her hand out for menus instead of asking, very impatient. Waste of time and money
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. The waitress was rude from the beginning and made me feel unwelcome. She kept refusing to seat me at multiple available tables, without giving any reasonable explanation. Her attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful. I ended up leaving the place feeling upset and completely let down on what was supposed to be a special day. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others
Ordered the Smashburger but it wasn't made in correctly. It's supposed to be two burgers stacked, each one topped with cheese. What we got were two burgers randomly placed in the bun with a single piece of cheese. The special sauce and lettuce were both missing along with the tomato I ordered.
Our server was great until we were eating, paid online, didn’t put a tip on there to tip in cash then our server completely ignored us didn’t ask if we needed refills or boxes but asked the people infront of us and behind us had to ask the manager for boxes. As a server for a living do better!
We visited BJ’s on the evening of 12/26/25 expecting a pleasant dining experience; unfortunately, it was anything but. Upon arrival, we were informed that we did not have a reservation, though we were under the impression that BJ’s accommodates walk-in guests. Several walk-ins arrived after us and were quoted a 20–25 minute wait. That timeframe passed, during which we overheard multiple guests expressing frustration over waits exceeding an hour. Calls to check on reservations went unanswered. When I followed up with the greeter, I was told the wait would be another 25–30 minutes. We were eventually seated after approximately 45 minutes, at a corner table next to an unused buffet/salad area that was cluttered with food and appeared unkempt. I had specifically requested a table rather than a booth, yet we were still directed toward booth seating, adding to the frustration. I requested to speak with a manager and spoke with Carlos, who unfortunately seemed unaware of the situation and lacked control over the floor during what was clearly a very busy period. I addressed the concerns outside to avoid disrupting other guests’ evenings, but by that point, our own night had already been negatively impacted. This was particularly disappointing given the 45-minute drive we made to dine here. Overall, this experience reflects poorly on an establishment of BJ’s reputation. The lack of organization, communication, and cleanliness was unacceptable and resulted in a ruined evening. We expected far better professionalism and service. I would not recommend this place at all.
