Founding Farmers VA: Reston Station

My waiter, Kevin was awesome! His recommendations were fantastic! He recommended the devil-ish eggs, the homemade soda, and the spatchcock chicken. All were bangers! I'll be back for sure.

First time here, brought my daughter out for her birthday. We were seated immediately, no wait time. Great staff, Kevin was our waiter, nothing but kudos to him. He served us with politeness, took our orders correctly, kept coming back to take care of us and see if we needed anything, and helped us sing happy birthday as she cut her cake. 10/10 for him. A great asset to the restaurant. Food was excellent, hot, and consistent. Great location and we definitely will get back out there soon....

I came here for brunch today and had a splendid time! The atmosphere is super cute. The food was delicious and the drinks were also really good! The beignets were made fresh and were absolutely delicious! We chose to do the a la carte menu because buffet style isnt really our thing. I had the 2 egg farmers breakfast with French toast. One piece was slightly burnt the other was a tad underdone but it tasted fine once I covered it in their maple syrup. The syrup alone was delicious and full of fresh vanilla beans! I do recommend this place for breakfast/brunch but it was on the more expensive side once you add in cocktails it was about $50-$60 a person. I do look forward to coming back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Founding Farmers in Reston is a must-visit! The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The meatloaf with string beans, mashed potatoes, and rich mushroom gravy was next-level and easily one of the best meatloaves I’ve ever had. The scallops with risotto were also a great pick, perfectly cooked and full of depth. The ambience, the decor, and the service were all top-tier. I’ll definitely be coming back this month to try more dishes this place was all that!

I ordered the carrot cake and it blew me away! It was super moist, soft, and full of flavor in every bite. The sweetness of the carrots blended perfectly with the warm spices, making it so comforting and delicious. Honestly, I couldn’t stop eating it—it’s the kind of cake you immediately want another slice of. Truly one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had!

Everything about our first time here was great from the service to food quality! Maryory was a fantastic server and was very knowledgeable on the menu! Will definitely be back for the buffet on the weekends!

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the service truly made the night. Susan was outstanding. Easily some of the best service I’ve had anywhere. She was knowledgeable, confident with her recommendations, and absolutely nailed every suggestion. She did not steer me wrong with the peanut butter chocolate pie, which was unreal, or the chimichanga steak with the chicken enchiladas, both were excellent. What really stood out was how attentive and proactive Susan was. I never had to wait for anything. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. Every dish was great, everything came out perfectly timed, and the whole experience felt effortless. If you’re dining here, ask for Susan. She elevates the entire restaurant.

Best Founding Farmers I have been to yet. I have been to a few in the DMV but this one so far has topped them all. The food was great and the drinks as well. Our waiter was amazing and definitely made the experience more enjoyable. We tried a few small dishes while we chatted about this and that. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, Skillet Cornbread & Honey Butter (which was not dry 😏), and the massive meatball. So good can’t remember the name of that bad boy haha. We also sampled a bit of their seasonal cocktail menu which had an amazing selection. Top three are the top three to choose from in that order. I really enjoyed coming here. I kinda always thought the Founding Farmers that I went to before were good but nothing to run home and tell your neighbors about. This one is it. Definitely the best one and on point. Absolutely coming back.

It felt casual enough for a coffee or brunch with friends, but also energetic enough for a fun dinner outing. The food was fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. Each dish was well-presented—from the vibrant salads to the hearty mains and perfectly brewed coffee. The portions were generous, and everything tasted balanced and satisfying. The latte was smooth and creamy, while the black coffee had a bold, rich flavor that paired beautifully with the meal. Service was quick and attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy, which made the dining experience even better. Even though some time has passed since my visit, I still remember it as a great spot for both food and atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good flavors and a buzzing, modern setting.

I have been coming to Founding Farmers regularly over the past couple of weeks, and every visit is made better thanks to Alyssa and John behind the bar. They always greet me warmly, make thoughtful recommendations on all the Happy Hour specials, and their attentiveness really stands out. Both are personable, professional, and make you feel like a valued guest every time. The consistency of their service keeps me coming back. Huge shoutout to Alyssa and John for creating such a great experience at the bar!
