Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante con un gruppo di colleghi. Mi avevano già parlato bene di questo posto ma effettivamente ho potuto provare in persona quanto i piatti siamo buoni e la qualità dei loro prodotti. I salumi degli antipasti erano di ottima scelta , così come i fritti ( tanto il gnocco fritto come la cotoletta) . Per gli amanti della carne, la tartare è squisita e la tagliata ottima. Quest’ultima viene servita al tavolo su una pietra bollente rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole se condivisa in compagnia. Il personale è gentilissimo e consiglio di prenotare .

Esperienza davvero positiva. Ristorante piccolo ma unico nel suo genere, offre di un servizio curato e di un cibo ottimo. Essendo con pochi tavoli bisogna prenotare assolutamente! All'inizio offrono un piccolo aperitivo di benvenuto e si prosegue con l'ordinazione. Rapporto qualità/prezzo : In 6 abbiamo preso una bottiglia di vino, 5 bottiglie di acqua, 2 antipasti , 4 primi e 2 secondi, caffè e amari. Tutto questo per la bellezza di 27€ a persona. Assolutamente inaspettato viste le super porzioni! Davvero complimenti alla gestione del locale e la cura che hanno nel mantenere viva la tradizione!
Un intimo locale alle porte del centro di Gallarate, che nasconde una cucina da 30 e Lode. Si viene accolti con calore dal personale di sala, molto cortese e disponibile. Viene offerto un calice di bollicine, accompagnato da bocconcini di pane fritto e salume. Quindi si prosegue con un menù breve ma con scelte che mettono in difficoltà perché non si sa cosa scegliere tra tutte quelle prelibatezze. Abbiamo optato per antipasto vegetariano con tomino e scamorza affumicata, antipastino con stuzzicherie (salumi misti), tagliatelle al ragù bianco di coniglio (da perderci la testa) e per concludere dolci della casa: tiramisù e torta ai tre latti e caramello salato. Le parole non possono descrivere tale idillio per le papille gustative. Il tutto accompagnato con ottima scelta di vini. Non resta che tornare di nuovo.
L'ambiente è intimo, tranquillo, rilassante. Si viene accolti con simpatia e cortesia insieme ad un flut di prosecco al tavolo accompagnato da qualche fettina di coppa e qualche bocconcino di gnocco fritto. Il cibo curato e nella giusta proporzione. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Da siciliana in trasferta a Milano ho voluto provare la cucina tipica. Spinti dalle ottime recensioni online, ci siamo recati in questo ristorante. Da subito l’arredamento mi ha colpito in quanto inusuale ed indefinito. Guardando meglio, una volta accomodati, mi sono accorta dalle foto e da altri gingilli che ovunque erano appesi pezzi di una storia passata che sicuramente si tramanda da generazioni. Siamo subito stati accolti con la massima gentilezza e con un entrèe di benvenuto. Abbiamo poi ordinato due risotti da dividere per poterli assaggiare e poi un secondo a testa. Il risotto, servito con effetto sorpresa (veniva raccolto dalla forma di formaggio con cui era condito), ha subito estasiato le nostre pupille gustative, probabilmente si classifica nel podio dei risotti più buoni mai mangiati, in altre parole: perfetto. O squisito. O sublime. Provare per credere! Poi abbiamo ordinato un secondo a testa, io ho scelto la cotoletta orecchio di elefante con contorno di patate, tutto veramente ottimo.Ma cosa ci mettete in quelle patate per dargli quel gusto pazzesco? In definitiva qualità altissima, servizio veloce, prezzi ottimi. Ci ritornerei? Domani stesso!

Returned to this small but cozy place after eight years. Seats are limited to 30, reservations are required. They immediately bring you a small aperitif with a glass of prosecco, fried bread, and local coppa. The placemat menu offers several exceptional choices. The elephant ear cutlet with potatoes is gigantic. Cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Must try the pasta e fagioli (pasta with beans) and the onion soup...and everything else.

Years pass, evenings pass, and we almost forget the great classics... then, a mischievous company dinner with American colleagues, and the clocks magically turn back, as if nothing had happened. We rediscover a world that moves calmly, savoring the beautiful and good things, conviviality in a refined but never ostentatious atmosphere. Without further ado: the food is superb, the staff is extremely friendly, the atmosphere is "what a bargain"... Florentine steak that a colleague from Florence dared to say "how delicious"... in short, a MUST for anyone passing through Gallarate.
I'd been looking for a restaurant that served the traditional Milanese cutlet, shaped like an elephant's ear, without necessarily having to go to Milan. Well, here I found exactly what I was looking for! The photos speak for themselves: it was perfectly cooked, you can taste the clarified butter, and it all came with delicious baked potatoes. I also had dessert, the house tiramisu. I personally prefer it a little more bitter, probably using bitter cocoa instead of sweet cocoa, and with a little more coffee, it would have been perfect. Overall, an exceptional experience, all topped off with impeccable service from the wait staff! My compliments to everyone, I'll definitely be back! See you soon!

I'd been wanting to come for a while, and I took advantage of a special occasion to celebrate at this restaurant, and I couldn't be happier! The restaurant is small but truly charming and intimate. The owners are kind and helpful, and offer a welcome drink at your table with prosecco, fried gnocchi, and a few slices of cured meat. I went with the elephant ear pasta in mind: AMAZING. Truly delicious, I devoured it all with gusto. The first courses were also excellent, and the homemade desserts were exceptional. I'll definitely be back!
I went with my family—there were five of us—and we were immediately blown away by the welcome appetizer of prosecco, fried bread bites, and coppa. We ordered two risottos with mountain cheese in a parmesan basket, three elephant ears with a side of potatoes, a Milanese lamb cutlet, 1/4 cup of house red wine, a Coke, two bottles of water, and a coffee. The risotto was amazing, delicious, perfectly cooked and served piping hot with a wheel of cheese. The main courses were tender, flavorful, and of high quality. The staff were kind, polite, and smiling. We'll definitely be back. The bill was also excellent, €110, but we left feeling full and satisfied! Overall, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended! I'm attaching some photos of the dishes (but not of the entrée because we were so hungry we couldn't take a picture of it 😅)

Cena per due, in questo locale abbastanza piccolo, ma molto accogliente. Servizio preciso e professionale, buoni anche i tempi di attesa. Per quanto riguarda il menu, abbiamo optato per un tagliere di stuzzicherie e una tagliata di manzo su pietra lavica (per due persone). Affettati buoni, come buona era anche al carne. I dolci non erano male (cheesecake ai frutti di bosco e tiramisù), anche se ho qualche dubbio sul tiramisù un po' atipico, diciamo che mi hanno convinto parzialmente. Buono il vino della casa e ottimo l'amaro allo zenzero.
È stata una bella scoperta. Sala intima, personale presente e attento con benvenuto del cuoco dopo esserci accomodati. Abbiamo iniziato con un prosecco e stuzzicheria offerta dalla casa. Come antipasto un tagliere con vari affettati formaggio, pera, noci, cipolline sottoaceto, pettorine e lumache alla Borgogna. Proseguiamo con l'orecchino di elefante con contorno di patate accompagnato da un calice di vino rosso. Potevamo fermarci? Certamente no, infatti prendiamo una gustosa crema catalana e un gelato con granella di torroncino. Ora siamo stracolmi perciò paghiamo mentre ci viene offerto un liquore fatto in casa. Una serata bellissima.

Quello che colpisce di questo piccolo ma accogliente locale è sicuramente l'idea e la buona volontà dei giovani gestori che con il tempo riusciranno a dare un'impronta di maggior impatto che ti faccia venire voglia di ritornare spesso a trovarli. Da segnalare il carrello dei bolliti misti che propongono il venerdì e il sabato sera: misto e di ottima qualità servito con salsine varie e patate prezzemolate. Buona l'idea ed il sapore della zuppa di cipolle servita all'interno del pane che però risulta essere di poco appeal visivo e troppo asciutta. I dolci invece da rivedere. Prezzi nella media della zona. Attenzione il sabato sera al poco parcheggio.
