Good food, good service ! Highly recommend “ phoi suong thap cam”.
Great Vietnamese Snack.
This is my favorite place to get coffee. The staff is really nice and the store is well stocked.
I recently discovered this place and ngl this is a hidden gem. I was impressed by a variety of items which brings back all my memories of growing up in Vietnam. Their menu is so diverse with so many Vietnamese street food. I tried Cuon Top mo cham bo, Phoi suong Thap cam, Bap xao dac biet; all of them were delicious and visually appealing. All the workers are friendly and are willing to help me anytime. Highly recommend!!!
I have been to this place since they opened it It has improved overtime and a pretty nice place to hang out with friends to have a vietnamese snack and boba or coffee. Love that they play vietnamese pop music on the background The vietnamese snacks, though, tend to be pricey compared if you have been to Vietnam . It's hard or not possible to find another place like this, Orange County, I don't live in OC anymore, but I tend to stop by whenever I get a chance to gets those delicious rice paper snacks. Some of their snacks, I would say, sometimes misses the right amount of fruits like mangos, especially for the prices.
An Vat OC is a great snack store that sells delicious rice paper salad. They have a wide variety of snacks available, making it a perfect place to stop by when you're in the mood for a quick bite. Food comes out very quick. You can buy to go and the wait time is only about 5-10 minutes. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is consistently high. Overall, I would highly recommend An Vat OC to anyone looking for a tasty snack or meal.
This restaurant is very cozy and has a variety of snacks to choose from. I'm glad they have mango back. The teas here are also delicious. I bought the orange lemongrass peach tea and the herbal tea. Reasonable prices!
The banh trang phoi suong here is so good with top mo mam rim, quail eggs and vietnam cilantro. Everything is made so fresh , customer services is friendly. Would come back again.
i love the old retro vibe that they have, food and drinks are great, good prices too, will definitely be back
Yummy banh trang. Loved the atmosphere and great branding
The banh trang is so good the service is pretty good didnt take much time
This place is very nice and clean. The food made me remember about the food in Vietnam. Also the cashier is very patient and doing great on her job
Food is exceptional and tasty. One of my to-go place when it comes to Vietnamese Street food.
Great Vietnamese coffee, can't wait to come back and try some food, it smelled delicious!
Honestly the best place in OC! I'm in love with all the snacks options, everything was so tasty and delicious. It's like going back to Vietnam
Cute decor inside the store. Lots of different types of Bánh tráng trộn, there's different snacks on the shelves too from vietnam. Try their yogurt drink too, it's delicious 😋
Interesting small hole in the wall that will have the street snacks and dishes authentic to Vietnam. The salted egg cake is something of a delicious delight that would only typically be seen made in family homes. The quail egg and other egg roll dishes are tasty and best when fresh. Worth a visit and if you're in the mood for fresh street foods.
Overall: 4.4/5 The store is cute with low table seating reminiscent of Vietnam. An Vat OC's specialty is banh Trang since they have so many types, both fresh and packaged. We recommend asking the cashier what the most popular items are. We got com chay and a green packaged fried looking rice thing to go for $20.66 which is pretty steep but the items we ate at the restaurant were really good and decent pricing. Com Chay: It was good but it's not as umami as the ones in the Bay Area. There also wasn't as much topping either so I wouldn't get this again. Ca Vien Xao Mam Toi ($8.99): This was the least anticipated item for me but it ended up being one of the best items here. It comes out in two colors. The white fish balls were a bit smaller than the yellow balls so I wonder if they fry them differently. I definitely had a preference for one over the other but my husband did not. Trung Cut Rim Me ($7.99): Wow, we were hesitant on getting the tamarind version since we were worried the sauce would be too sour but it was actually really delicious and went perfectly with the qual eggs! This is actually one of our favorite dishes of the 4 we tried. Cuon Bo ($7.99): This was recommended as being one of the popular items here but it was actually not as good as the quail eggs or fried fish balls. It had a pretty presentation but it was on the blander side, and there was no beef (reference photo). I assume the sauce has butter in it since it was a thick coagulated yellow blob. This sauce was pretty gross so we didn't use it and dipped our rolls in the fish ball or quail egg sauces. Overall, food was really good and they have dishes we've rarely seen anywhere else so we will be coming back! Definitely want to try their banh Trang tron the next time we're in town :)
This is a great place to try out some traditional Vietnamese street food. They have some food offerings that I have not seen in any other places in Little Saigon. They also have a great drink selection with many different milk teas and of course Vietnamese coffee. Lots of prepackaged things to go as well. Great place to go if you want a taste of Vietnamese street food with some tasty drinks to go with them!
I only have their bánh tráng cuốn sốt bơ and it’s very good, even better than some places in Vietnam. You HAVE TO buy their bánh tráng sốt bơ me, take it home and have it for snack, it’s so gooddddd.
If you’re craving Vietnamese street food, An Vat OC is the ultimate destination. With its cute decorations and vibrant Vietnamese vibe, the atmosphere instantly transports you. The menu boasts a delightful array of street food options, including the mouthwatering Banh Trang Tron and Banh Trang Cuon, which are absolutely delicious. Whether you choose to enjoy the food on-site or take it home, An Vat OC is the perfect place to satisfy your street food cravings. If you’re a visitor, don’t miss the opportunity to gather a variety of these yummy snacks to bring home or share as gifts. An Vat OC truly captures the essence of Vietnamese street food in the most delightful way.
This restaurant has lots of tasty Vietnamese snacks like: - Bap xao tep (Vietnamese Sautéed Corn with Dried Spawns) - Banh trang tron (Rice Paper Salad) - Xoai lac (Vietnamese street food shaking mango and fruits) Also, it has lots of good desserts and smoothies. I'd recommend it!
One favorite place for traditional Vietnamese street food and snack. Dine in and ready to ship. Cute gift. Trà đào is good but no real đào
They have so many good street food. Love this place. Mine and my son favorite.

Great place for ăn vặt. Love their variety of bánh tráng. This is a must-try place if you travel from other states and crave for bánh tráng. I love their decor too. Staff is friendly and attentive. I don't know why there were those negative reviews about service, but I have never had one bad service for both times I came there during my short trip. I definitely saw some very mean and rude customers, but the register girl handled the situations perfectly with respect.

The cure for your itchy mouth in study time. Snack time is the best time of the day. Highly recommend cuốn bơ, bánh tráng trộn.
Highly recommended to call them in advance to ensure they're open sometimes and even order in advance to avoid coming there. You cannot order due to the last call being 30 mins before closing time. If you pay by cash or Venmo, you will get 10% off, but please double-check with them. Paying by card is a minimum of $10 and has no discount. The line can be long sometimes, so ensure to call to order, and you can grab some to-go packages while waiting in line.
Cute place with Vietnamese street food, nice customer service. It's a little bit pricey but all the dishes are delicious
I love that this place had so many good Vietnamese snacks and things! I also got a peach milk tea, and though it was good and the boba was good it was more like sweet milk with a hint of peach rather than a very peachy flavor. Otherwise great place!
I traveled to OC and this was the only place where I got to enjoy Vietnamese street food. Honestly, 10/10 — everything I ordered was super tasty and perfectly seasoned!

Update 1/22/2026. Eat here at your own risk. I got severe food poisoning after eating at this location. It was a miserable experience and a major health concern. I won't be returning, please be careful." _______________________________________ They have so many Vietnamese street food here , they are all yummy. I will be back to try another food.

Came here for the first time after eating at the sushi restaurant next door, we ordered a hazelnut milk tea and honestly it tasted like milk and SUGAR plus SUGAR mixed with SUGAR... with honey boba, boba was hard and seemed old, didn't taste like honey boba. Not coming back, specially in a city with boba places in every corner.
This is now a ramen place. They will take custom orders which is nice, but if you want variety, this is not the place. It is pretty much tonkotsu except for their vegetarian soup base.
A trendy street food spot, especially for (banh trang) rice paper prepackaged or mixed. The rice paper itself was thin and easy to eat. I tried the prepackaged rice paper with beef (bo) sate and shrimp (tom) sate and they were good. I tried Taiwanese shredded pork (cha bong) too but didn't like it because there was a powder on top. I also cannot recommend the rice paper salad (banh trang tron) they mixed for you because the sauce was too sweet and there were only quail eggs, green and fried shallots making it dry. The fried rice paper was interesting and chewy but the sauce was too sweet again. The special sauteed corn with shrimp and salted egg (bap xao dat biec) was good but too wet. Overall, the best thing to try is the prepackaged rice paper.

The banh trang was great but the customer service was worse. A girl wearing glasses talk to me in a rude way, not welcoming, not happy to customer when I tried to pay after I finished shop. She ask me if I want to pay cash to get 5% off or Venmo. I said I don’t have either, can I pay card? She looks at me for couple second and ask me again with same question, I repeated I want to pay card and idk what happen to her mood on that day. It was only her bringing bad mood. Another girl hang me banh trang cuon was so welcoming, nice and happy compare to her.
I got the banh trang tron the one you'd mix yourself, everything was included and well packaged. However the sauce was reaaaaallllyyyy sweet even for a sweet tooth like my husband. I know everything taste good because of sugar but that was way too much. I don't recommend it unfortunately 😕

This restaurant has filthy chairs and tables. I couldn't sit down to eat because there was food crust stuck in the cracks and the crevices of the tables. It was so gross and makes me want to throw up.
They have so many types of banh trang, so I tried the banh trang phoi suong tron cay. It was super super super salty. I could not believe they made it that salty. I was quite shock. They should understand their product that the banh trang phoi suong (soft/fresh rice paper) already have salt and they should reduce salt in the mixture. So terrible. I will never come back this place. My inner mouth even felt hurt after 1 bite because of the salt. I left all and my husband still ate some bites. The shop is quite noisy because of the loud music. Staff is not friendly at all.
Last time i was here the corn was good, but this time the corn is soft and slimy, a little sour and Smells weird. You should double check your ingredients to see if it is still edible before you serve. Id have to report this to the health department to
There’s a freaking potential nail polish in my “Trà đào cam sả” (Orange and Peach Tea). Such a red flag for food safety!! Employees here also paint their nails and it seems like they don’t even care about food safety! I used to love this place. But now, the drink is not even good and have weird stuff in it…
I bought banh trang tron ( rice paper salad) here and was very disappointed when I open it. There is no shredded mango and a few mint veggies. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone.
