This little place is surrounded by other busy businesses, so parking can be a bit of an issue. When you walk inside this place just feels comforting. Fairly sizeable, the art is great. I came in during soft opening, so there were some great deals. 99 cent Sapporo on draft and they're actually a decent size for the price tag. Each sushi roll have 5 pieces instead of the usual 8, so that it's a good, "just enough" of a roll. They do have some rolls under 10 dollars. We did order the Sensual Pleasure roll, which was actually still a decent size for a 5 piece roll. It was actually really good. We ordered both the yellowtail and the salmon collar, those were basically melt in your mouth and the skin were nice and crispy. Baked Mussels are a must for me, they're and these ones don't disappoint. The bento box was $20, but it came with so much. I got the Chicken Karaage, beef teriyaki, and the donkatsu. The salad on it had that amazing dressing on it, and of course it had rice. It's very much worth the price, and great for those who don't like fish! We also wanted to try the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was rich and creamy, the noodles had that perfect bounce. The chashu was tender and complemented the ramen. Last we ordered the sashimi plate. The fish was fresh and delicious. Now they offered their spicy sauce, which I tried. I love me some hot sauce, this was actually a bit warm. It was really good with the sashimi though! The service was great, the waiter was very helpful throughout the entire service. And everything was amazing. I do recommend it, it's like a 10 minute drive from Disneyland so if you want sushi, try this place out!
We had dinner here the other night. Parking could be an issue since the lot is small and shared with several other businesses. They are still in a soft opening phase. They have several great promotions right now. Sapporo on draft is 99 cents. Rolls are 5 pieces but all under $10. We had a roll and while it is only 5 pieces, it was just as large as a regular 8 piece roll from other sushi restaurants. We had the baked mussels. They were so flavorful and a must have. I am a huge fan of fish collar and got both the salmon and yellowtail collars. Both had crispy skin and fatty and moist fish. The bento box is large with a lot of options. We got beef teriyaki, donkatsu and chicken karaage. Large portions and all perfectly cooked. We also got a bowl of ramen. The noodles were light and bouncy. The dashi was rich and creamy. A sashimi plate was a must-have. The pieces were thick cut and absolutely delicious. They are close to Disneyland. With great service and wonderful food this would be a great place to eat before or after a trip to the parks.
Amazing experience from when we walked through the door to when we walked out had such an amazing experience!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING SUSHI WAS ON POINT AND THE PRICES are great!!!!! But what would make me come back(cause I’m from Temecula) was the service and the amazing food
Congratulations on your new management One of my favorite spots so far for a quick sushi lunch or dinner the service is great affordable prices and delicious n fresh sushi so recommended
This is my favorite sushi spot. The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home every time. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is always fresh and delicious. You have to try the Hot Summer Roll!
I'm so glad they reopened!!! This is one of my top 3 favorite sushi spots in all of orange county! It was unfortunate a couple of moments ago that it looked they suffered a robbery and then covid regulations hit. But they reopened!! The food is AMAZING and the service is even better! Everyone at the restaurant is working hard to make sure that you walk away happy! Today I took my mom out and we sat outside next to the heater which was the perfect combination of warmth, kinda like snuggling underneath a warm blanket with the ac on. Shortly after we ordered our food, and the waitresses brought out all the necessary things. They were busy when we came so the food took a little long to come out but it's okay, I was spending time with family <3 Second, the food is prepared amazingly well! The presentation is instagram worth and the freshness of the fish / sauces makes your taste buds dance! Though this place isnt all you can eat, it's by far better than most! Come by enjoy this hole in the wall! Complimented by cute servers thatll make your night great!
We were out here visiting and looked up some sushi places near by and saw this one. Very glad we did! The serve was amazing! All the staff was super friendly! There is a wide variety of choices on the menu. I couldn't believe the prices! Highly recommend checking this place out. The complimentary small ice cream was such a nice surprise at the end. If we lived out here this would be on regular list!
My 1st time here, and it was so delicious, it did not disappoint. 😋 Great selection, I had difficulty deciding what to try first. What is important to me is the fish to rice ratio, and got it perfect. Not too much rice, also they don't over fill the roles with cucumber, so you can actually taste the different flavors of the rolls. So far my favorite was the Three Amigos, but as I said it was 1st time here. I expect I will be back to try more.
This was my first time going to HanaMaru and it really does live up to the hype of the reviews!! Extremely fresh everything from the Wasabi to the seaweed to the seafood. The service was wonderful the waitresses are very attentive, quick and kind. The restaurant is open for dine in and they also have an outdoor patio seating. This place is very affordable for the awesome quality of sushi. I highly recommend coming here!!
Exceeded our expectations! Amazing food, great flavor, great portions, and all at a decent price. Not a single complaint!
Sushi was really fresh and tasty with nice presentation. Nice big menu with lots to choose from, not just sushi. Fast, friendly service. Glad we found this place!
A little unconspicous corner, but the food and service is excellent. Didn't expect much, but boy the food is great ! They have Ramen, Udon, Fresh Sashimi, Rolls of all sorts. Very satisfied and close to home. Will come back definitely!
Staff is amazing, and the food was fabulous! Very hospitable and kind people! If I could give more stars, I would!

Love this place & have been going here for a few years. The sushi is always fresh & delicious. Exceptionally good spicy garlic edamame IMO.
I ordered a rather simple meal and everything was made with the utmost care and attention. Service is great, delicious food and quiet ambient space. Definitely will come back.

My wife and I love this place. We have been going to and ordering takeout from here for about 6 years, and its a staple in our pickiest lineup of restaraunts in North OC. Our only regret is that we dont live closer, and cant come more often! The food is always quick and delicious, and we've always been blown away by the service. Definitely worth trying, you'll love it.
We went here for dinner while we visiting Disneyland. It’s only minutes away from the park so we’re glad to try out here. They have variety of selection of sushis as well as ramen and a few stir fry dishes. We really liked the place’s cleanliness and interiors! Service is not so great but okay. I wish the female server was more attentive as there were only two tables. I’d recommend the place for those who love sushi.

This restaurant was significantly better under the old management. We had a teriyaki dinner and a crunch roll. The seaweed and crunchy topping on the rolls were chewy. It felt soggy and inedible. As for the teriyakis dinner, it was not worth 14 whatsoever the portions are a little underwhelming. The taste was ok not the best thing but above all else , some pieces were cold ❄️🥶

Pretty disappointed in the declining quality. I have a favorite roll and the first time I ordered it, it looked exactly like the picture and it was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. Every single time I've ordered it since, it has gotten worse and worse. The sauce shown in the picture isn't even included anymore. The garnishes on the mussels are not included either. One of the chefs here was extremely disrespectful to my boyfriend when he asked if the roll had changed. We used to get sushi from this place so often, but they have now lost two long time customers due to the disgusting behavior of the sushi chef. It's embarrassing that a grown man doesn't know how to treat paying customers. We found a new sushi spot around the area that is a much higher quality than this place. The sushi was once delicious, but we won't be coming back ever again.
Sushi was good, our server, Bebe, was so sweet and helpful. However, “the boss” was so rude which ruined the experience. He was hostile, steamrolled, talked down to his staff, and talked loudly/unkindly about patrons as if we couldn’t hear him. We could. I wouldn’t go here again just because the owner was so awful, no matter how good the sushi was. We made a simple request about removing avocado from a roll which I think upset him, and we found our next order of rolls to be poorly wrapped. So spiteful, yuck!
