1st time trying out Josie's since my son has been wanting tamales. By the time we wake up, our usual tamale lady is all sold out lol. I googled tamales nearby. They didnt like Diana's ones so we tried these and we found a gem close to home💕 the tamales are huge and the prices are affordable..

Mondays are fried chicken tacos day and they where amazing. I will definitely be stopping by again.

Been coming here since I was eight years old and I won’t stop coming here until I leave California

I grew up in Gardena so I definitely have some favorite spots and Josie's is one of them, best chicken tacos ever.

Great place, very friendly service, my daughter and I got the free Anniversary ice cream, it was fabulous and flavorful, we order a carne asada burrito and carne asada fries, both of them were Great,fresh, hot, and flavorful, I highly recommend this place.

My first time there got a tamale wonderful got it tostada very happy with carnita meat got a carnita burrito so big couldn't finish it tastes delicious highly recommend

Still delicious. Small family owned pickup place. Nothing fancy, just a cute organic looking restaurant. The young lady was a little dry. It was offensive, just not warm and welcoming, the way other family restaurants are. I will still patronize them because, like I said, it wasn't offensive.

Great crispy chicken tacos and other food is excellent as well. The cheese enchilada was delicious there's really no seating for dining in, so it's pretty much take out.

I love the chile verde burrito—it's a family favorite! The place is definitely a to-go place; there are only a couple of small tables.

Last time I ate food from here was about 25 years ago. A good friend brought me here, it was her favorite spot. I had the 2 hard shell chicken taco combination today and it tasted the same, just like I remember. It has new owners now but I'm glad the food stayed the same.

Well you really enjoy their food they’ve been around for a while we like to sit in but with all the changes and activities and rules and regulations we have been ordering for delivery but now we are ready to go and sit down and see our friends it is a very nice place the food is very good and as you can see in the pictures The portions are very large everything they make is very tasty we will continue whether it’s delivery walked in or pick up! Give them a try I’m sure you’ll like what you see and the taste of their food is wonderful! Service is great it’s an automatic friendship in my opinion.Thank you

Not your regular authentic taqueria type food but more like your grandma made it at her house and invited you for dinner. The fried tacos are the top winner here so get a variety and enjoy. The food kind of reminded me of a Tex Mex style where everything is smothered in sauce and they use the green chilies at are seasonal. All in all I’m pleased because this is exactly the kind of food I was craving. The food was flavorful but the service was bland. Not bad and not great. Just come in make your order, get your food and go on your day. I recommend this place if your looking for a quick but tasty meal. Not fast food by any means but your order comes out fairly fast. Portions and prices are great as well.

My family has wanted to go here for quite a while and we kept putting it off. Finally made the pilgrimage today. And it was absolutely wonderful. The order was made quick and accurately and very reasonably priced. The food was superb. Highly recommend. This will not be our family's last trip to Josie's.

Best hard shell chicken tacos anywhere. Their hard shell beef tacos are also good. It's pretty much take out only, there is a small area to sit inside. I go there for the tacos

I've been coming here since I was in Jr high and it never disappoints. They are known for their chicken tacos and they are for a reason because they are bomb. I've had everything on the menu over the last 20+years so definitely put this place in your go to spot and try out there super burrito that ting can feed 2 easily lol I swear it's gotta be over 2 pounds but it is out of this world. Happy eating

Hard shell chicken tacos are a must try. Under new management so it's changing some of there long time items on the menu. Not the same spot anymore 😕 Sad times

Chicken taquitos are so good here but gotta eat them in the parking lot or they'll go soggy quick. Right off of Normandy next to the motorcycle shop, great quick stop

No chips were given. The asada burrito had a lot of beans, hardly any meat. Placed order over the phone & the order taker didn't mentioned that they closed at 6:00pm. Got there at 5:55pm by luck, but not really for the $21.58 price I paid for this unfavorable culinary experience.

The food doesn't taste the same like before. The chicken in the fried chicken taco was dried. Carnitas all meat burrito was salty and greasy. Carne asada burrito was super greasy.

We just bought taqitoes an they were burnt! I know they sold it but new people cooking not the same as before. I won't be coming back!

My wife went to get food at 7pm. According to online they close at 8pm. While she entered to place an order with several customers inside the cashier told my wife they are closed. It was 7:02pm. Denied her order, yet still taking other customer orders. Will not be going back.Horrible customer service. Will be taking my business across the Street to Diana’s !

I have been here often in the past but this time I am done with them. I order the large tamale by asking "do you have the carnitas one pound tamales?"The lower mentality gent on the register writes down my order and has me pay. I figure this means yes.He posts up my order. Fast forward about 15 minutes. Everyone that was there and 5 0r 6 others that have come in are gone"What about those tamales?" say I. He goes over and looks at the lone ticket and consults with the cook. " we don't have any of the 1 lb tamales left. We have some of the small ones." AS i walk out cursing..... I had to give it one star to post.

With all due respect but the wet burrito was wack according to my spouse some how the tortilla was burnt and the carna asada was not cooked right, as a Hispanic I never had that type of red sauce on any enchilada I ever had im usually open minded about trying new stuff so ill just stick to hard chicken taco if I ever come back here .
