The best Patatas Revolconas I've ever had. I've had some really good ones before, but these are on another level. Spicy, that's for sure. Spectacular. The Migas are just as amazing. Juicy and crispy, also probably the best I've ever had. It's worth going just for that. You won't have enough time in one meal to try everything else, so you'll have to go back.

We were visiting La Vera and decided to go there. I checked the reviews of places to eat and this restaurant came up. It had a family atmosphere, the owners and the waitress were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. We asked for recommendations and loved them. The "patatas revolconas" (mashed potatoes with paprika and bacon) were the best I've ever had, and I've tried them in many places! That hint of paprika was simply divine! The venison loin and the "lagarto" (a type of stew) were also delicious. We loved everything and will definitely be back.

We were in the area today and stopped here for lunch. We loved it. The place is very pretty, and the two waitresses are super friendly and attentive. We ordered revolconas (fried potatoes) and marinated venison loin, all delicious. For dessert, we had homemade carrot cake. Highly recommended if you're visiting.

We liked it a lot! Very friendly staff and very delicious homemade food. Good value for money We ordered half of croquettes, potatoes and ratatouille for two people, and it was more than enough. The ratatouille was incredible. A good detail is that one of us did not eat meat and in the potatoes they put the torrezno part separately to remove it without problem

The best food in the area. Everything here is delicious, even the waiters. Very affordable, homemade local cuisine, and the local wine is good. All at reasonable and reasonable prices. Friendly staff with excellent recommendations. Around €50 for two people, including three desserts, two main courses with bread, a small pitcher of wine, and a small beer each. 10/10. Thank you so much, and we'll definitely be back.

We loved it! Paradise for celiacs. It's a charming place, the staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious. They have an extensive menu (they're portions, not a menu) with many gluten-free options, including the best gluten-friendly ham croquettes I've ever had. We also ordered scrambled eggs and lagarto (served with potatoes), and for dessert, a cheesecake (also gluten-free) that was delicious. The prices were normal; we were three people (two adults and one child) and paid €50 for three generous portions, drinks, and dessert.

We had a meal as a couple; it was recommended to us, so we called to make a reservation. We were absolutely delighted. The service, despite it being a weekend and the place being packed, was outstanding. We ordered a delicious cherry gazpacho; I would have taken the gazpacho pot home with me if I could! Then we had eggs with pumpkin blood sausage, which was a true delight. And finally, marinated venison loin with potatoes and peppers (this wasn't on the menu). I've never had such delicious venison in my life. With drinks and dessert, it came to about €50. We left very happy. I highly recommend this place, and if I'm ever back in Garganta la Olla, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

A must-visit if you're in Garganta la Olla. A unique space, fantastic service, and exquisite food. And if you're celiac, you're in the right place; they have excellent cross-contamination control. A must-visit at lunchtime. The dishes are centrally located. The meats are exquisite. The revolconas (potatoes with local paprika) and the croquettes are highly recommended. We loved the cherry ice cream. A cozy, beautifully decorated place. Very affordable prices, but the best part, without a doubt, is the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. It deserves our highest rating. However, it is always advisable to make a reservation to ensure a table. They are packed every day.

A perfect place to have a lunch or a dinner. When we came it was completely booked for lunch, so we booked a table for the dinner. We had an asparagus omelette and pork with french fries, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. The staff was nice. Recommended.

This place serves local food in a very nice atmosphere with lovely staff. We had an amazing lunch. Generous portions and the desserts are home made and delicious: save a little room for those.

NOS DEJARON ENTRAR CON PERRO Buen sitio en el que comer en Garganta la Olla. La atención muy buena, todos muy majos y atentos. Carta atractiva con muchos productos y platos típicos, como migas, revolconas... Nosotros comimos: Rin ran verato, ensalada con tomate, pimiento cebolla... Y lo más importante, pimentón de la Vera. Muy muy bueno. (7-8€) Patatas Revolconas, también muy buenas, picantitas en su justa medida. (9-10) Lagarto, acompañado de patatas fritas. El punto de la carne fue bueno y la carne era bastante jugosa. Bastante rico también. (18€) Para terminar, postres caseros, por un lado tiramisú, y por otro tarta de zanahoria. Ambos estaban buenos, especialmente la tarta de zanahoria, sabrosa, esponjosa y nada seca. (4€ cada uno). Precios normales, quizás un pelin altos, pero bastante bien.
