Un lugar encantador en Gavà Mar❤️ Catalina es, sin duda, un restaurante que merece la pena visitar. Desde el primer momento, el ambiente te envuelve con su encanto: un espacio súper bonito, decorado con mucho gusto y con una atmósfera que invita a disfrutar. El servicio es atento y amable, asegurándose de que todo esté perfecto. En cuanto a la comida, simplemente excelente: bien elaborada, con sabores cuidados y una presentación impecable. En definitiva, un lugar fantástico donde todo encaja a la perfección: buena comida, un entorno agradable y una experiencia que dan ganas de repetir. Muy recomendable!

Catalina es un lugar súper bonito, el servicio muy bueno y la comida de 10!! La verdad es que en alguna ocasión más pienso repetir 🥳 Tanto el arroz de secreto y trompetas de la muerte como las anchoas o los mejillones deliciosos! Enhorabuena!

The atmosphere in this restaurant is an easy 10/10 very classy! and the service was top notch. While the food was slightly more expensive than anticipated the quality was very good my rice and steak was cooked to perfection. And the bread and olive oil that was brought out was delicious. While I certainly understand those in the comments complaining about being charged for the appetizer and bread they bring out you have to keep in mind that outside of America that is a common thing in most higher end restaurants (like it or not). Overall we had a great time and given the chance I would go back.

We had an amazing experience at Catalina in Gavà Mar. The service was outstanding, warm and professional from start to finish. We ordered the Spanish wagyu steak and it was simply next-level, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. On top of that, the restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, both inside and the outside area. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

Great place, great decor, a bit pricey. We had the steak. They cooked it rare and provided a grill so we could finish it off. It was delicious - and I have eaten in some very good restaurants in last 45 years. The maitre'd was very good, he just needs to learn the art of smiling...

Amazing restaurant in Gava Mar. Super room & terrace with a charming champagne bar in the woods. The food is delicious ! I highly recommend the Hummus for starter, served with homemade bread. Then the octopus & the shrimp rice were delicious. Keep some space for the desserts ! VERY big portions - I can only advise the Chocolate pie - heaven on earth. Parking available. A very good address, rather for a true occasion as prices are quite high (but worth the atmosphere & the food) !

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited! Everything was absolutely delicious — especially the seafood. The staff were wonderful, and the atmosphere was just perfect. We were invited to an event there, and the location truly impressed us: a spacious area set among pine trees and right by the sea. Everything deserves a solid 5 stars!

A hidden gem in Gava, very posh restaurant. We ordered Salt-crushed Fish, very fresh and tasty. The cutterfish brothe was also very good. The atmosphere is very calm and spacious with very nice decoration. It was a shame we couldn't see the surrounding plantation in the night. We should come again during the day.

This restaurant will surprise you since it is located in Gavà about 15 to 20 minutes from the center of Barcelona. It is worth visiting, it is within a green area of ​​large trees, next to the beach with a very nice and cozy decoration and beautiful garden with a wonderful service. The food is super delicious, and in my opinion it is better to order several dishes to share. You must go by car or taxi.

Booked for a group dinner. Everything was delicious from the tapas to the dessert. We tried both rices and they were among the best we had in Barcelona. They also have a nice garden to have aperitivo. A plus: they are dog friendly! :)

Definitely a outstanding place for a celebration. Superb and attantive service and very nice and tasty meals. It was over 30*C so we thought it would have been terrible being outdoor, but the merge with the natural trees helped to make us all feeling comfortable! And parking spot availability was a very welcome plus.

A very large restaurant in picturesque surroundings with on site parking and beautiful gardens just a stone's throw from the beach. Fantastic service, very friendly and attentive. We had salmon and honey of truffle, iberian loin cane with tomato bread, and grilled razor clams to start. The salmon was fab, I thought the clams were also delicious too (maybe their natural flavour was overridden by the sauce a little). This was followed by the lamb shoulder - which was beautifully cooked, but slightly bland for my taste. Probably not quite a 5 but 4 would be harsh.

We’ve accidentally came across this restaurant and it charmed us with the lights in their garden. Came there next day and that was fabulous, but a bit expensive (170 for two, but we’ve tried many things and a lobster). Best oysters I’ve ever tried. Overall – Highly recommended!

El sitio es super agradable, espacioso y bonito! El personal muy muy atento y simpático, van bastante rapidos por la cantidad de gente que hay. Nos atendió una chica portuguesa majisima! Simplemente la comida no mata... esta rica pero no es una delicia por los precios que tiene. Por ejemplo el pulpo nos decepcionó bastante pero el aguacate y los postres ricos

Fuimos a Catalina a comer en familia el lunes de Pascua, y la experiencia, aunque agradable en muchos aspectos, dejó también espacio para algunas observaciones constructivas. El entorno es, sin duda, su mayor fortaleza: una terraza encantadora entre árboles, que transmite la sensación de estar junto al mar, aunque no se vea directamente. El ambiente es distendido, con un público mayoritariamente familiar, lo que hizo que nos sintiéramos cómodos a pesar de que la música recordaba más a un beach club que a un restaurante familiar. El servicio fue correcto, aunque algo desbordado por momentos. Apreciamos el esfuerzo del equipo, pero en algunos puntos se notaba cierta falta de ritmo y coordinación. En cuanto a la propuesta gastronómica, la carta es variada y apetecible, con entrantes frescos, fritos, arroces, carnes y pescados. Sin embargo, la ejecución no siempre estuvo a la altura del precio. Hubo varios platos que, si bien tenían buen planteamiento, se quedaron a medio camino por temas de punto de sal, cocciones o cantidades. Algunos ejemplos: la gilda, a 8 € la unidad, estaba excesivamente salada; la ensaladilla con atún rojo (20€) resultó desequilibrada, con demasiada mayonesa y muy poco del ingrediente estrella. Las almejas eran pequeñas pero sabrosas, los mejillones gratinados y la coliflor estuvieron bien, el carpaccio de tomate y las alcachofas ricas. Uno de los principales platos, el bogavante con huevos fritos y patatas (100€), tenía el problema de que los huevos llegaron demasiado cocidos, y tuvimos que pedir otros con la yema líquida para poder disfrutarlo como es debido. El arroz de gamba(38€/pp), correcto pero algo pasado; el de chuleta (40€/pp), de sabor potente pero excesivamente salado y graso. El shock lo tuvimos con los postres. Pese a que nos avisaron de que eran para compartir entre dos, las raciones eran tan desproporcionadas que habrían servido fácilmente para siete u ocho personas. Aunque todos estaban buenos —con mención especial al tiramisú y la torrija (los menos ricos fueron el cheesecake y la torta de chocolate)—, el tamaño resultó exagerado hasta el punto de generar un importante desperdicio, algo que nos incomodó. De verdad que lo del Tiramisú en esa copa gigante no tiene sentido alguno. A pesar de todo, cerramos la jornada tomando café en la zona de mesas bajas y tumbonas en el "bosque", un espacio muy agradable que alargó la sobremesa de forma ideal. En resumen, Catalina ofrece un entorno privilegiado y una atmósfera cuidada, con una propuesta gastronómica atractiva en papel pero aún con puntos por pulir en ejecución y coherencia calidad-precio. Es un sitio donde también se paga también por el lugar y el ambiente, y aunque la experiencia global fue positiva, esperamos que con pequeños ajustes pueda alcanzar el nivel que su ubicación y concepto prometen. (Fueron 140€ pp)

Beautiful location and delicious food, especially the fresh seafood and grilled options. The desserts are huge—they say they’re for two people, but easily feed four! That said, the service was very slow and quite disorganized. We had to repeat our order a few times, and dishes arrived at random times. Great for the food, but come with patience.

El restaurante ofrece una propuesta gastronómica cuidada y un ambiente agradable, pero por los precios que maneja, la experiencia general queda por debajo de lo esperado. I wasn’t very happy with the experience. The food is good, however the restaurant i highly overpriced for a service that is not what should be expected. Additionally, we got served an aperitivo as a “welcome from the house” (some crackers with meat and normal bread) and nobody told us we had to pay it!!! I find it really un-respectful and very bad taste for a restaurant like this.. for sure I won’t go back and won’t recommend it. We took 3 types of paella: paella with chuleton, paella with gambas and fideuas with calamari.

The atmosphere is very pleasant,is for family or for a couple . Is perfect for lunch and dinner. If you are a gourmet, then you are definitely not come here. I would rate the food not highly, but if this is not important to you, but it is important to have lunch or dinner in a pleasant atmosphere, then this is a great place.We ordered a lot of food , appetizers ,fish ,meat and not a single dish surprised me. The restaurant is still out of the category for the stream, is for the number of people not for the quality of the food...... They have parking. it is very comfortable.

Beautiful place, recently refurbished, very cool. Outside dining area is wonderful and interior is great too. They have a very long and good wine list, and the menu is a mix of sea and meat. Food is good, dishes are generous. but not great. In Barcelona you get accustomed to great food, and this is on par, but nothing above and beyond. The staff is very effective, not always the case in Barcelona. Everything arrives quick and correct. The waiters are not smiling nor do they engage in small talk. It doesn’t add to a cozy ambiance, and we found it a bit off putting. One notable exception to this is the maitre’d, Cristina. She was very welcoming and nice. Prices are high but not unreasonable. If the food had been slightly better and the waiters more welcoming we would have scored it a 5 star for sure.

Somos vecinos y fuimos a finales de agosto. El lugar es muy bonito y el servicio fue amable. Tomamos un menú de unos 80 €. Las entradas estaban buenas, pero el arroz estaba demasiado salado y no pudimos terminarlo. El postre, unas frutas picadas con hielo, helado servido en vaso de porexpan, tenía una presentación bastante pobre. Ese día, supongo que el jefe estaba de vacaciones. En cualquier caso, esperábamos mucho más de la experiencia.

Pésima relación calidad-precio. Te dicen que van a traer un aperitivo de la casa de cortesía y luego te lo cobran en la carta sin avisar, por 9€. Las cocochas de merluza pobres de cantidad y nada del otro mundo por 33€. El arroz de gamba roja (80 €) un arroz malo, sin sabor. La gamba de mala calidad y sabía mucho a tomate e iba acompañado de mucho trozos de algo que decía que era sepia y que parecían incluso salchichas. Lo más rico ha sido el pan con eso lo digo todo. La tarta de queso estaba buena, pero era muy grande y no avisan de la cantidad (12 €). Pedimos una copa de ginebra que costó 18 €y fue servida sin ningún cuidado y sin fruta. En resumen: precios de lujo con calidad de chiringuito.

I’ve been two times to this restaurant. I like it. every time I eat oysters here, they are completely hot (not super cold) I eat 90% of my meals outside my house so if I get sick from something, I cannot point a finger on one restaurant. But now I’m very sure that oysters from Catalina is completely garbage. I have been puking my life out and having full Diarrhoea. My friends wife have the same problem. Thank you a lot for this experience.
