You can't beat what McDonalds offers. Extremely fast and fresh food anytime of day with amazing affordability. I've never waited more than 5 mins in drive, even when I've had to pull ahead so they can prepare something. The staff is well trained and most of them are very congenial. There's a reason McDonalds is all over the world and the Geneseo store meets that standard.

This is a great McDonalds. They bring your food to you at a table. Our food was hot. First class McDonalds. Edit- After we ate, they gave my kids coupons for a free cookie. And, the cookies were warm. I am very impressed with this McDonalds.

Food is what you would expect, but they've made the entire community mad with the new remodel. You can no longer get Refills on your own and they no longer have a Ketchup dispenser. Treat your customers like idiots and your buisness will reflect it!

Great fries. I prefer the chicken sandwiches, and nuggets are fantastic. Using the app makes everything easier, you can order from your table, or just say a code at the drive thru. You can collect points and get free items from the menu, or use the deals. You can only use one option every 15 minutes.

Mobil order is the only way I’d eat here it’s 1/2 the cost of inside be smart save money

I got a coke with light ice and a McChicken sandwich this afternoon. The McChicken sandwich was super hot it's one of the first times I've ever gotten fresh food from a McDonald's and I was pleasantly pleased

After a difficult drive(bad roads, blowing snow) I stopped here on my way home from the vet's office. I ordered 2 meals and a cheese burger, plain, no salt, for my elderly dog. You went above and beyond! His cheeseburger was in a little container along with a knife and fork. I could have cut it up and fed it to him in the car without any mess! On top if that, my coffee(ice, cream) was the perfect drinking temp. Thank you!

One of the best McDonald's I've been to in a really long time. Best hospitality from the employees as well. If I ever drive through this area again, while traveling, I will definitely be stopping again

I'm not much of a McDonald's fan but we were traveling and decided to jump off the interstate and grab something to eat. We ordered a steak,egg and cheese McMuffin, a regular egg McMuffin, hash brown and a mocha frappe to go. Before we made it over to grab a few napkins they called our number, gave the us sack (we checked, everything correct!!! Even the strawberry jelly we had asked for!!!) As soon as we closed the sack up, our frappe was handed to us by a smiling crew member, followed by "have a great day!" We were so impressed we gave the crew cheers and applause!! I'm a firm believer in you should acknowledge good things not just pointing out only when things go wrong. I'm still not a fan of McDonald's but the people at this location make a stop worth it.

My experience was amazing. I was on a trip with a large group of people. All of the employees were very accommodating to or large amount of people. I would like to thank the employees. One of the busses we took broke down. The employees were very helpful.

Correct order delivered to the table quickly. I witnessed the staff assist customers with kindness and patience; apologize for an incorrect order and immediately correct it. I was lost on my way home and needed to stop some place to get free wifi, I decided screw it I'll get some McDonald's breakfast, there was a manager working that lit up the entire room because he was in such a good mood the rest of the crew followed suit. It's tough getting up early and feeling customer service(y) good job fellas definitely impressed by the kind atmosphere, it's refreshing from your normal McDonald's experience.

This is one of the good ones. Nice people and they keep it pretty clean. I was passing through traveling on my way from Florida to Minnesota and I hang out for almost the whole day waiting for my truck to be repaired and they were super nice about it.

Good food, but staff is scarce. My daughter had ordered chicken Alfredo, but had no chicken. By the time we saw an employee, it was past time to get something new.

Happy to get steak, egg & cheese bagel again till I bit into it. More than 50% of bites included gristle. Otherwise service is always fast and friendly.

McDonalds food is pretty consistently McDonald's food. If you're into it. Service here is generally very good. Other than hitting a few wait times where I got pulled forward for a wait for fries or something no complaints. Docked a star on food for the coffee. This is the case at virtually all McDonald's so it's clearly a process problem they have. If it's past 8:30am the chances are high you're going to get burnt coffee. I'd think like most other things it would get a timer. Maybe younger crew don't get how easily coffee can burn even on a warmer and think they can get away with letting it go a little long. Americanos are nearly always bad. I haven't tested this but my theory is that the amount of coffee isn't adjusted for the size of the cup. I usually get a medium or large and it's always super weak and sometimes just tastes like dirty water. I wager a small comes with more punch. The drink is also always crazy hot so I assume they just pour unfiltered water from their generic hot jug that doesn't get cleaned often enough. All that said it's generally a solid standard McDonald's experience.

Here is my deal. It's McDonalds right? You get what you get, been there plenty of times both inside and drive thru. Friendly staff for the most part. There is one issue that I constantly have at this location: they forget to give me some of my order. Now, I know what youre thinking right? "Hey, you should be checking your bag before you leave the drive thru", well I don't sometimes. And it sucks when my items are forgotten when I get home. So if it is one thing I can encourage the staff at this location to do, double check and make sure all items in the bag. I can probably count over 10 times in the past few years where items have been left off that I've paid for.

Normally this McDonalds is great, fast service and good food. However, my husband and I went on Monday night to pick up food from the drive-thru and our cards were declined at least 4 times. We both used different cards and the lady at the drive-thru didn't seem concerned or got us assistance, so we decided to go inside. Once inside, our card worked just fine.

The service here in the past has been below average. They've kicked it up a notch. So far they have gotten better at not messing up orders. The staff seems friendlier.

I was in town for a sports trip at the high school and was getting tired of the food at Casey's, so I decided to go to McDonald's. I'm still getting used to having the food brought to my table, but it's a nice touch. I had to get a Shamrock Shake. Food was made well, the staff was attentive and friendly.

This location is really screwy. I went and ordered in the drive -thru. I waited in the side for my order and was told after the second time the lady coming out to deliver food to people that my order had been given to someone else. They apologized, refunded me and gave me an extra order of fries and cookies for my wait. I only had 2 meals on my order. This was at 1:45 in the afternoon so it wasnt particularly busy, but odd.

It's your typical McDonalds. Only bad thing is if you order a quarter pounder in the drive through, you will have to wait for it.

Food/Culinary and ingredient quality, 2/5, cheap & mediocre, nothing fancy. Prices: 4/5 Quite cheap. Service: 2/5 Regular quality services, but sometimes forgets your food and is not pleasant.

There's always something about 2nd shift not getting what I ordered right in Geneseo. Even if they look dead like barely anyone there, they get it wrong a lot. I frequent there. I've talked to many others who frequent there and they agree it's a 2nd shift problem. I get pulled forward to wait on my meal. Check my bag and still wrong. I've mentioned this to the managers of 2nd shift before. They say it's an all shift problem. What a waste of food, time and money to have to get orders corrected. It's like 50% right on a regular basis. I can't imagine how much food gets wasted or tossed because of orders wrong. It's really sad to me.

Always do drive thru, breakfast crew is awesome and always fast. Lunch and dinner crew... Not so much! Almost always a wait and a line of vehicles just sitting for food to be ran out and they regularly forget some of my items.

Drive thru experience was quick and both employees were friendly and professional. My food, however, not so great. My burger was dry and chewy and my fries were barely luke warm.

Good food, usually takes a while if you order at an odd time.. snob at the counter made me pay for a water cup.. charged me for sauce packets 🙄 Every other time I ask for a water cup it’s free; guess it depends on the employee

Food was fine, order was correct but staff was very rude when I requested a receipt. Had to request a receipt 3 times, staff said they would bring one out. Had to go inside to finally get the receipt and staff laughed and complained that I needed a receipt for a $10 order. Very unprofessional.

This isn’t just McDonalds but most fast food restaurants. But for McDonalds roughly 94% of the time I go through the drive thru my order is wrong or missing items. And if I order more items it’s definitely going to get messed up. I am not sure if it’s a communication error or they rush to the point of making errors. As the price for food increases it is extremely frustrating not getting what you order or missing items. McDonalds along with other fast food restaurants need to do better. Quality of food needs to be better too if I am going to pay more for it.

What's the point of having a mobile order this place 10 minutes before you get to this location. Then you wait 20 minutes in a line and you still get pulled over to wait another 15 minutes for your food. The whole point of a mobile order is to get in and get out fast. I know you can't control the lines but a mobile order was put in 30 minutes prior to reaching your window and it's not ready? Also you should be able to run this line out of here faster than that. X fast food manager speaking here. It's sad service has gone down so much

What can I say? It's McDonald's. There's no nourishment in the food we buy, but it's quick and it makes us feel content for a while.

Very clean establishment, and bathrooms were very clean. 2 star rating is because the food prep employees weren't wearing gloves when putting together the food we ordered.

Had no onion rings or cheese Curds! To me that's ridiculous. Kid Said all we have is fries looked At me like we'll you want fries Or not. Won't go back.

Everytime we go after a certain time our fries are cold and our food is messed up. The manager and employees dont care and dont do anything to change it.

3 years later and they're still using temporary Covid hours. You can check online, you can check the postings on the door. Either the hours changed and all the wrong listings survived the remodel, or they've been getting away with closing early ever since 2022. Hope you aren't looking for a late night burger like me...

Floors as slick as ice. Highly likely someone mopped the fryer area, then proceeded to the dining area. Asked lower level manager on duty to please have someone mop the floor (before someone falls) ... request met with an eye roll and disappearance to back of store. After 10-minutes, I asked to speak lower level manager in the dining area. Lower level manager says "how do I know it's not your shoes" and returns to hiding area in back of store. There is no room for acceptance of belligerence in the service sector - my opinion, may be accepted by ownership, McD's Corp, or others. For clarity, this McD's is managed well regardless of the lack of competence of the lower level manager involved with my experience. Despite overhearing lower level managers denial that dining floor was slippery, an employee did take initiative to immediately remop the entire area with fresh mop water. The day time Crew is awesome and always has fresh food. But the nighttime crew needs to get it together I've been here 3 times now trying to give them a chance and every time the fries are cold and old like they've been sitting for hours and the nuggets too so nasty I don't even get to eat them and it's a waste of money so I say don't go at night

Not sure why Geneseo's McDonald's is so expensive compared to others. Large iced coffee and a bacon, cheese mcdouble was $8.31. I also got a free "medium" fries with my order due to the app. Fries container was half full as pictured. Staff is friendly.

The blonde drive through girl is rude and unprofessional. I was trying to ask a question and she just bluntly closed the window and walked away from me. Not going there again, I get better service at a wendys.

Went through the drive thru to get a fry and a water and when my sister and I got to the first window to pay. The guy at the window slowly gave my card back to my sister and then looked at her and said what are you doing in a weird way.

Told they couldn’t help us cuz of the thunderstorm. It’s not even raining.

Pulled in at 11:30. They are not supposed to be closed until 12am. Plenty of time to make food.

Need to change their hours online. It says they are open to 12am but rolled up to order at 10:59 and said they were closed. This would be the third time I've had bad service from this McDonald's. In my opinion drive to the Quad Cities or Kewanee if you want good service.

Employees don't care about service or punctuality. Nothing is there fault/ the customer is wrong. Orde was screwed up on multiple accounts. When confronted about this, I was told these are kids working here what do you expect. Not to mention closing before posted hours.

No matter what you order you get pulled ahead. Lunch rush dinner rush it doesn't matter the day or time. And do you think you ever get compensated for having to pull up for "fast food?" No.

Went to get breakfast and all my food was cold and my breakfast burrito was empty nothing on it. The orange juice tasted old and there was something in my ice coffee. Wont go to this mcdonalds ever again. Doesnt even deserve one star

They have people pull forward cheating the drive through car meter for service speed. Basically cheating the system corporate uses. The manager is cheating the system. Even when cars can’t pull forward, they have them pull off to avoid said meter. It’s pretty common happening everyday. Also the nuggets suck, get with the program McDonald’s. Quad cities McDonald’s is better than this McDonald’s.

Breakfast Crew that I encountered were rude and dismissive. They have no problem talking about customers were we could see them. When Asked if they were talking about me the Manger said I could have my money back. All I was trying to find out is what beverage came with a meal without an upcharge. Whan I asked that the employee was instantly combative. All she had to say is coffee or a small fountain drink. Where has customer service gone!!!

Pulled in drive thru and and waited a minute before the lady said it would be another minute. Another car pulled in the lane next to me and placed his order without any problems and pulled ahead. I waited for another minute before I backed out and went to hardees. I got prompt service and hot food that was fresh.

Drive through is a bit of a cluster and i get my restraunt food faster than their "fast food". In addition, they give you cold fries and the last 4 visits, I've had to wait over 25 min for my small order, while everyone around me got theirs.....more food bags then i got....

Quantity and quality are very poor! Staff is very poor. Wrong order was given ! Cold fries! Actually disgusting! Won't go there ever again. A bunch of kids running restaurant.

Hands down worst service for getting food. They always seem to either make me wait when I'm the only one in drive thru or they give me another customers food. Once they even told me my card declined and rang it again, charging me twice for my order. I also had a cashier blow his nose without washing his hands handed me my coffee by the lid. They should fire the entire crew and start over, I would be embarrassed if I owned this branch of McDonald's.

I ordered just a crispy chicken with mustard & cheese, not only did they mess it up, by giving me a cheese burger the first time, then they gave me a regular one, the third one they forgot the mustard.stay away from this location. they are inept, Culver's is right around the corner.

The latest remodel is terrible! Everything looks cheap and poorly done. The open concept ruins the atmosphere. Everyone's conversation muddles together making it loud and distracting. Seating options are lacking and uncomfortable. The entry area is always crowded and awkward with the kiosks packed around the one register. Make it make sense!

i order 2 large chocolate shakes to go and two large fries and i got 2 small vanilla shakes and two small fries.

Refused to let us in due to "low staff" when they clearly had at least 5 people. Closed lobby at 9pm closes at 12am. What the flip....

Pulled up to this mcdonalds to use my rewards points to get a 6 piece nugget so I could give my dog their new medication. I open the 6 piece nugget box to find 3 chocolate chip cookies. So I drive back around to the window and explain the situation, they said they will fix it. I drive around again and when I open the 6 piece nugget box this time, 4 nuggets.. I was not going around a 3rd time so yall get 1 star from me now.

Where to start the food was fresh but the service in the drive in was horrible to say it nicely. The one taking my order seemed irritated when I requested an extra fry in the kids meal which they completely did not even put one of them in my kids meal. So to say it nicely I would rather of finished driving the 15 to 20 minutes to a McDonald's that is closer to me and take a gamble of them giving me a reg coke when I order a diet then deal with this McDonald's again. Because the Big Mac that was in my order did not have Mac sauce. Which makes it a what??? Would not recommend to anyone, that simple.

I tried to come into the McDonald’s and the manger said we are not allowed a super nice employee named Brenden tried to get us in but a big mean manager named JD said we can’t come in. BUT IT WAS ONLY 9PM!!!!! Give the young man a raise and fire the manager. He said they were understaffed when no one is here and had 8 employees working.

The girl manager (I think her name was Alyssa or Allison, not that she’s worth remembering anyway) was very rude and disrespectful. Can’t understand how or why she is a manager. Really hoping she gets fired or somebody has a talk with her about the way she treats other employees and customers.
