Absolutely the best chicken tikka masala I’ve had. And the naan. Amazing.
Excellent food, and very friendly service. The lady was very sweet with our baby. Really enjoyed everything, for me the paneer padora and vegetable pakora were particularly good.
Ordered the medium Tika masala, mild butter chicken, butter and garlic naan, and vegetable samosa. Everything was full of flavor, perfect temperature, perfect spice. Absolutely delicious. Best authentic Indian food I've had in Rochester.
We eat a lot of Indian cuisine. Who knew the best of it all was in an outlet mall in Waterloo, NY. The veg samosas were crispy, fluffy, tender, and delicious. the Chana masala was some of the best we’ve ever had. And the Malai Kofta was to die for.
I recently visited this restaurant and tried the Paneer Tikka along with Garlic Naan and it was absolutely delicious. The naan was perfectly soft and fresh, and the paneer tikka had great flavor with just the right amount of spice. Overall, a really satisfying meal and definitely worth trying!
Fantastic authentic food! And best lemonade ever, and a chai that puts the western chai lattes to shame. The Channa Saag (spinach with chick peas) and the Alu Gobi (cauliflower and potatoes with cumin and turmeric) are wonderful, the chicken tikka and malai kofta were very good, and the Naan is the best I’ve had in the US. This outlet is not that great, so when my kids want to go shopping I know that at least the food will be awesome. Bonus: the family that owns the restaurant is delightful. Theres also a shop with colorful Indian clothes, shoes, and jewelry. And a clean bathroom :)
Food was very delicious. It’s hard to find a good chicken curry but I found it here. The staff was nice and helpful. I also enjoyed the fact that there was food for my 1 year old to eat! I will be eating here again
My family and I were treated to a feast of delicate and rich Indian flavors. While we waited a short while for the meal, our hostess let my daughter see some of the elegant traditional clothing in the adjoining showroom. Thank you for an amazing cultural experience, and delicious flavors!
I came and ate here a few months ago and have not been able to stop thinking about how phenomenal the food was. I’ve been to many Indian restaurants over the years, and no matter how much I ask for it spicy, it never quite hits the level I’m looking for, until now. This place nailed it! The flavors were incredible, and the spice was exactly what I asked for. The staff was incredibly welcoming. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be coming here!
As someone who lived in India, I can say this is the best I have had in a very long time! The owners are Punjabi, so the food is delicaely spiced, and plesantly aromatic. Our selections, a Kofti and a chicken Vindaloo arrived at the table piping hot and beautifully garnished. The garlic naan was freshly made and well balanced. My wife enjoyed her mango juice as well. The sign on the building housing the restaurant is gold on tan, so it is difficult to see from the mall parking lot. Aside that the place was clean and bright. No beer or wine, but definitely a gret place for lunch or dinner if you enjoy authentic North Indian food!!
Absolutely delicious food! We all shared a few different dishes to get a better experience of the different tastes. Wonderful owners very attentive and super friendly- we will make the 75 minute drive again within the month to try even more dishes. Hopefully to bring more of the family as I explained to one of the owners my sister is vegetarian and she said no problem as she is vegetarian also!
A hidden gem for real Indian food lovers! This place is a total win if you’ve been craving authentic Indian flavors and are tired of every dish tasting like a remix of chicken tikka masala. We tried the chole bhature and both the chicken and goat biryani—and wow, they nailed it! The chole was rich and spicy and that goat biryani was absolute fire—tender meat, fragrant rice, and layers of flavor in every bite. Service was fast, the vibe was relaxed, and the food took us right back to India. If you're on the hunt for something beyond the usual "butter chicken and naan" routine, this will hit the spot!
We are on vacation and found this place on google maps. Saw the reviews and had to try. Like the reviews say, the food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor, perfectly spiced. If you like real Indian food don't hesitate to stop in. The food was so good and we were so hungry I forgot to take a picture before we devoured it. We had vegetable samosas, butter chicken, chicken korma and garlic naan (even though we ordered butter naan). All were equally delicious!
Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Service was excellent, the food came out quickly and tasted so fresh. I loved all the attention to detail, from the visual interest added to the rice (peas and red grains) to the delicate flavors in the veggie pakora. Add that to having a wide variety vegetarian options, we’ve got a winner for the area.
This place is amazing. They have been open for 4 months, and it’s a place you must come to. The price is very fair, and the serving sizes are great. Very authentic Indian food. I got the Eggplant Bharta - great spice and the amount of rice was perfect for the dish. The staff was welcoming and friendly. If you are in the Canandaigua area, I highly recommend coming here.
Review as an Indian, who has been eating indian food my whole life. Food was honestly okay. It didn’t taste like authentic indian food. Curry was thin and lacked flavours. If you are someone who can’t digest too much spice then it’d be probably good for you. Apart from food, service was slow, place is small within a clothing shop. They probably decided to split shopping space into a food area (which is not a problem). And food is not at all cheap
I've been going to this place since they opened. The food used to be wonderful. Now they've fallen off and started serving questionable food. This is my 2nd experience with bad food here. The chicken in my Chicken makhani was very hard and dried out, like when chicken is old/expired these past 2 times. The last time(Jan 21st) I ordered the "fresh hummus " which was actually walmart brand hummus that expired back on January 4th, and my chicken makhani had Paneer in addition to the chicken. The person I was with ordered the paneer. I know this place is convenient if youre going shopping. But if you want Indian, there's a better choice in Geneva.
The worst Indian food I’ve ever had. When they first opened, the food was decent, but with every visit it’s only gotten worse. They can’t even make a simple chai anymore. Sometimes they serve old, stale tea and then have the audacity to ask what’s wrong with it. The butter chicken wasn’t even cooked properly, and to top it off, they couldn’t manage to cook plain rice either. Quality and consistency have gone completely downhill. Very disappointing.
