Amazing service every time I visit! The atmosphere is diverse, friendly, and efficient. All the servers I've encountered are always top knotch! A great place for a family outing, date night, or just to have a beer and wings at the bar! Great job Eddie Obrien's! 😊

We ate there 2 times while visiting our daughter. I'm sad that she has moved from the area. The sports memorabilia hanging on the wall is impressive. Food is delicious and a friendly staff. Going to miss this place.

I have to give it five stars. I'm not from the Geneva area, but every time I'm in the area we stop here for food. My husband says he thinks about the burgers regularly. Lots of drink options and food options for whatever mood you're in! Highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip with pita chips - 10/10.

Stopped in for dinner after a day on the lake. Food was spectacular. Portions were pretty big, more than I could eat but delicious. Clean and drinks were very good.

We were a party of 5 and had a variety of food and drinks. We did have one issue with a burger being under done but they made it right quickly. Our waitress Mariah was amazing.

The food was sooo good! I got a philly cheese. The meat was tender, the sandwich was HUGE on fresh soft bread, and swerved with au jus! The home made potato chips were very good. We also got soup and sandwich, the BLT was also pretty big and soup look homemade. Servers were great, bus boys were on top of thier job, Lots of seating, highly recommend this place!

Waitresses are always attentive and friendly. They have a great chicken parm sandwhich. Fish sandwiches on Friday with housemade chips is another favorite.

Our group from Columbus, OH was visiting Geneva for the weekend. We went to Eddies with hopes to watch the Ohio State football game on Saturday night. We spoke with Frank and he graciously reserved us a table for the game and had a TV setup just for us to watch the game. Frank was amazing! The Buckeyes had a big win and we had a great time!

This place was amazing. I ordered Jack Daniel's Burger, and it was absolutely amazing. The service was also very quick and wonderful. Overall, one of my favorite places I have been to in a while. I would highly recommend.

We are in Geneva to visit our daughter at HWS. They were very accommodating for a party of 5 without reservations. Food was great! Waitress was exceptional!! She checked on us regularly, service was great!! We will definitely be back!

I got the shrimp fajitas (delicious, generous portion), son got the club sandwich (his go-to order at Eddie O's) and we split an appetizer of fried bologna (could have been a meal by itself). Entrees can out about a minute after the app, which is my only criticism (very minor in my mind at that). Great overall experince!

Place was busy for a Sunday night. Lots of beers on draft and huge menu. Our waitress Brianna was excellent and recommended the Philly cheesesteak. it was massive! We plan to stop back next time we make it to Geneva.

My first time here. Madison our server was very friendly and had some great suggestions for us to try. Got the JD skillet and it was amazing. Will definitely stop there again.

My husband and I recently visited Eddie O'Brien's while in the area. The service, food, and atmosphere were all superb. I highly recommend the Jack D Mac and Cheese skillet.

If you are looking for great sandwiches, friendly staff and a fun atmosphere, this is the place. We stopped for dinner on our way back to our rental, Wow, is the only word to us. From the hostess to the owner, the entire staff was smiling, laughing, talking to customer and they were slammed. Mariha waited on us in the bar, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC is all I can say. I would come back just to see her. She has a smile that makes you feel like you are a friend.

We meet here a couple of times a year because of the quality of the food, the fair pricing, the atmosphere and most of all the service. My husband & I stopped for lunch. Sunday afternoon around 2:00. I ordered 5 Buffalo BBQ chicken wings & a Caesar salad. It was delicious! My husband's O'Brien Reuben did not have enough dressing or cheese, so it lacked the typical flavor he likes. However, the service was friendly and very efficient. We will look forward to coming back there for another good meal.

THIS THING IS HUGE! I got the Philly Cheesesteak. Don’t order it unless you are trying to Bulk. Jokes aside, the Philly was pretty good, but the Au Jus that comes with it for dipping was fantastic. Service was great, and I was in and out quick. Nice spot.

Eddie O'Brians has good food and service. The food was delivered quickly and hot. It tasted great and was a good meal. The place can be loud, so I don't recommend taking your partner on a first date there. The motif is sports bar with the bar separated by an original brick wall.

Great atmosphere and the food was excellent. We ordered the loaded fries and were stunned by the portion size: easily enough for 4 or more people. I chose the Korean tacos for my entree and I'm so glad I did. This unusual menu item is the reason we decided on Eddie O'Briens instead of the numerous other eateries in Geneva. I wanted "something different" and this was exactly perfect. Although they were very busy and our waiter was not able to attend to us as much as he should have, other staff were very attentive AND our waiter was very apologetic about the circumstances and told us that the next time we came in he would take better care of us. I'm not sure I've ever had an apology from a waiter before and this really impressed me. Even though I live within walking distance of an Eddie O'Briens, I will travel 30 minutes to Geneva to eat at this one again!

Tasty food and good service with a sports bar theme. The place could use a little more sound proofing. Unfortunately for us, there was a dance competition going on and groups of teenage girls upped the noise level quite a bit. Other than that, we both enjoyed our lunch.

Nice atmosphere, enjoyable food. Got a patty melt and fries and hubby got a mushroom swiss melt and fries. The burgers were good and cooked as requested, and the fries were really good, but smaller portions than I was expecting for the price ($12). Overall, nice place and not bad for an occasional afternoon out. We stopped in at about 2pm on a Sunday and the lunch rush just seemed to be ending, but all the booths were taken. Waitress was pleasant pretty attentive. Next time if we come back we'll have to ask for a double order of fries, if our budget can handle it lol.

First going to the one in Geneva. Nice atmosphere. Pretty full for a Friday night but the service was quick. Our server wasn't very friendly so we all felt rushed to order. I had Korean tacos. Delicious! Decent prices. Overall good, just wish the staff was a tad kinder.

A few friends and I stopped in last night to get some dinner before a show. We had a short wait for for a table, but it was Friday and expected. The waitress was wonderful tending to our needs, which was few. The wait for our food was maybe 15 minutes and it all looked AWESOME. I had the Jack Daniels chicken wrap and wanted more. I'd like to give this place 4 and a half stars..... it's not fine dining but the food was pretty damn delicious.

Good food -- had a fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato waffle fries, while my wife had a club sandwich. Service is unique at this place -- seems to happen in waves. They had people seat themselves. Took a bit for a waiter to come, but once he did, drinks and the meal actually came out simultaneously and quickly.

We stopped in Stopped in for lunch on a whim. Food (burgers and poutine) were delicious. Service excellent. A fascinating space to be in. The table and menu could have been cleaner, otherwise perfect. Highly recommended!

Bad night tonight. Some group was taking up all the space and the noise was bad. Our table was wobbly it took over an hour to get salad and wings. We were ignored by our servers and no more free refills even though it says so on the menu. $4 for a 12oz cup of soda? I should've drank water and got a 2 liter for $1.69 at the store. Usually I love this place but tonight wasn't their best. And they are way too expensive for the food and atmosphere it provides.They can do better. Im Hopeful for the next trip to be better. Like I said just a bad night I think.

The food was very good. We started with the pub pretzels which were great, I highly recommend! Crispy outside, soft yummy inside, the honey mustard they come with was very tasty. We both had burgers, they were good, can't go wrong. Service was fast. It's a sports bar type place, so it probably gets really busy. We went for a late lunch/early dinner and had no issues. We would return!

It's a good place to have some food and drinks with friends and even if you wanted to watch a game. Service is also good.

The service was exceptional, they had a good beer list, we were seated quickly, and the bill was shocking in that it was so low for 7 people. My mac and cheese was quite spicy and I couldn't finish it, but the rest of the food we ordered was great. Love the decor! I might go back to order something else more to my own taste, everyone sitting with me looked very pleased with their meals.

This was my first experience dining at Eddie O’s in Geneva and the food was as spectacular as always! The service could have been better but they seemed as short staffed as everyone is so overall it wasn’t too bad. Pricing is good and atmosphere is wonderful.

Great place for lunch or dinner or just for the bar. I like the food, they update the menu pretty often. Sandwiches appetizers, entrees, salads, pasta. I have tried many different things on the menu and I like it all. Very large bar and seating area hardly ever a wait. Kitchen is fast and efficient so food comes out quick and cooked the way you ordered it. I recommend Eddie O's for a variety of occasions

Came for the Friday Fish special and was not disappointed. It was popular and we had to wait about a half hour for a table at dinner time. There is a large selection of draft and bottle beers. The service was okay and loved the atmosphere. Would return the next time around town.

Stopped in for a bite to eat before walking around downtown Geneva. From the time we arrived, the staff was super friendly. Our waitress Mariha was so nice and very attentive. We did not have alcohol there but they did have a full bar with Cocktails, local Craft beers as well as domestic beer, wine and more. We went with the spicy Guinness gold chicken wrap and an order of poutine. The wrap was delicious. Chicken was juicy and seasoned well. The Guinness gold bbq sauce had the perfect combo of sweet and tangy flavor. The crispy fries with the thick brown gravy and topped with cheese curds upped the deliciousness of the Poutine. This will definitely be our go-to spot when we come back.

The food was absolutely amazing. Hands down our best experience in a long time. Soft pretzel appetizers were great and lobster mac and cheese was out of this world but my wifes shrimp and avocado taco was so good words can hardly describe it. Well worth our money and time. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because at some point our waitress must have lost track of us because we waited over 20 minutes for the check and finally had to ask someone else to get her. It was very busy but still not a good reason to leave us sitting.

Wound up here because most of the ither recommendations were closed or full. Didn't start well when I ordered a pasta dish. They had no pasta left. Ordered mahi mahi taco plate and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty good and had the sauce had some flavor. House salad was average. Prices fair.

Food was pretty good, waitress was good, however wait time for food was terrible; we were seated for over an hour before we had all our food. The manager did refund the cost of our drinks which was appreciated. Given, it was a weekend, but the place wasn't even packed out or anything.

We went at a busy time, so it's hard to judge the service. Our server was friendly, but took a long time to greet us and get stuff to us, but that could've been the busyness. We got the nachos, which were just okay...I've had better, I've had worse. Drink options are typical. The coolest part is the atmosphere, a fun Irish bad feel for sure.

Food wasn't bad, service was a little slow when we went and my Guinness head was about 60% of my glass. Staff was friendly and it's right next to the opera house. So if you're in for a show I'd definitely pass by for a bite.

Came here with some friends and got pulled pork, a steak sandwich, and wings. The food was mediocre at best. Nothing incredible and I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to eat here. The best part of the meal was the dessert, we got the banana cream pie and even though the banana tastes was minimal it was good. Service was ok. One of the waiters was lost and wasn't very professional.

It was OK and for the price, it wasn't unexpectedly bad, but I wasn't terribly impressed. I had poutine and lobster mac. Again, the lobster mac was inexpensive so I shouldn't have expected TOO much but the lobster was just so dry and crumbly, and the bread crumbs they put on it were burnt. Maybe on purpose but the burnt breadcrumb flavor was enough to be overpowering. Speaking of burnt, the fries in the poutine had burnt ends too, likely from being pre-cooked then tossed under a broiler to melt the cheese. I didn't eat much of either but did only pay $96 for three adults so it is what it is. The building is cool at least and staff were nice.

Prior to last night I would have said that this was an average place to dine. Last night, I decided I would not return. My husband ordered a Greek salad it was delicious and very fresh lettuce in fact I had a bite of it. When he was completely done with his large salad our food came out and my salad and my daughter's salad were clearly bagged lettuce or pre-chopped and also not fresh at all. The onion rings were not fried properly and were soft and the bill came to $60 after the tip. I am being sincere when I say I would enjoy a meal at Wendy's more than the meal there and I wouldn't have the sticker shock.

Very disorganized host, and a kitchen that rushes too much. We ordered the fried pretzels, they came on a plate in a pool of grease (cheese sauce was great!), My cheese steak was was meat and mozzarella- no seasoning at all. Could have benefited from some sharp provolone cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic. The boneless wings were ok, also lacking flavor.

We ordered deep fried pickles which were way under fried and soggy. The Swiss mushroom burger was dry and had 4 mushrooms on it, and although my sub looked delicious it lacked all flavor. The French fries were the only thing that had any flavor dipped in the ranch dressing. The soda was completely flat as well. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive so we didn’t complain but that was a waste of $50 bucks and we wouldn’t recommend a visit here. Fell very short on quality of food but great service.

The menu is small and there is no stake served here. It's pricey for what is actually offered. The food is ok but not anything worth going here for. Standard run of the mill you can get anywhere. The place was clean though. HOWEVER!!! Went out with our friends for dinner. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated when there were tables open. No big deal. We ordered drinks at the bar while we waited. When we were seated it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and over 15 minutes before they came back for our orders. We only had five people in our group and other tables that came in and sat 20 minutes behind us were served before our food came out. Then after we ate we had to seek out our server to just get the check and take home packaging. It took over two and a half hours from start to finish. I've been here a few times and never been impressed. This was just the last time I'll be going here.

I really try to like this place but I always walk away disappointed. Today, a Sunday me and my husband went there for dinner. We arrived at 5:45 pm. We were sat without a wait due to more than half the restaurant being empty. We waited about 10 minutes before our waitress came by to take our drink order. We order an appetizer which was fine. We order a burger and sandwich. It finally arrived at 7pm. It was cold and looked awful. I cannot believe that the kitchen let that be served and I cannot believe the waitress served it. We asked to see a manager and was told that a manager wasn't o but that they would get the bartender who never showed up. Paid for our appetizer and got the hell out of there. I'm done giving them chances.

Every time I go here, the service is horrible and the food is sub-par at best. Be prepared to wait 10 minutes plus to be greeted after sitting down, and another 10 minutes after that to receive your drinks. Last night (was not a busy night), our server did not come check on us at all, and one of the people in our party had to walk up to the bar on the other side of the restaurant to get his drink refilled. Then after someone else brought out our food, there was no sauce on the chicken wings, and it was another 15 minutes before our server finally came and checked on us so we could get it corrected. All of this could have been avoided with an attentive server. Even though service has always been extremely slow and unorganized every other time we've been here, our experience last night solidified we will not be returning, especially when Parker's is right next door with much better service.

Terrible food. Very nice service. Asked for crispy wings and well done french fries. 45 minutes later zero crispy wings and soggy fries. Wings came back blackened. How do you screw up wings? You dont listen to the customers order thats how. Luckily i do not live locally so I wont be back. Beware. The servers were very nice and tried to sort things out.

Food was decent, The staff was an absolute JOKE!! Wife asked for a glass for water. Waited till the end of the meal to get it too her. Asked for bacon on the side of her burger, they never brought bacon, until I demanded it! Saw 4 different waiters and NONE OF THEM even knew what was going on! Asked for the check, waited 25 minutes before we recieved our bill. Honestly think they were all high!!! Also watched a waiter spill water all over a booth and then processed too try too seat someone there without cleaning up the mess.. Maybe they should start drug testing their employees or hire people that have some idea what to do!!

Took my son there to grab dinner. The waitress was rude. The order was wrong and when I explained to the waitress the order was wrong, she stated it was already made and walked away. My 3yr old son got a cheese burger and the inside was completely raw. A disappointing restaurant is an understatement. You couldn't pay me to go back there.

Sat at the bar, only 5 other people there. Bartender inattentive, slow, had to ask for utensils, napkins. Food was terrible. The rueben was cold, bread was soggy, everything tasted a bit off. The fries were undercooked. About 40 minutes after eating, I started feeling sick. 🤢

I hesitate to leave negative reviews, however, this place came highly recommended and the food and service wasn’t up to par. We had a table of three that ordered apps and food.. nothing too crazy... and we were there for 3 hours... and it wasn’t that good. The food was cold, Mac and cheese sauce was watery, nachos came with meat that wasn’t even flavored with taco seasoning, and boneless wings that were over cooked. When we are back in the area, we will be skipping this place.

We came in for lunch at 1:35. The bar tender was our waitress and completely forgot to put our food in. We waited over an hour and 10 mins for our food. We watched 6 tables in other sections come in after us, by over 30 mins, get their food and leave before us. We were a table of 4 adults and one child. The bartender knew we were not happy and instead of an apology she added 18% gratuity to our bill. We always tip well but to add a tip on fraudulently makes me even more mad. After we left we checked the menu and no where on it does it say they add a tip for any size party. I suggest you look into your bartender cause if she did this, she is dishonest.

We went to Eddie O's first time and I ordered the California Cobb salad.I was very disapointed,no cheese,very tiny chopped turkey pieces and no tomatoes. Basically, lettuce, one egg sliced, shredded carrots and bacon from a package. The worst Cobb salad I ever had in my entire life !! The ranch dressing nothing special and charged me .75cents for 2nd one without saying. $3.00 for tiny cup of coffee, no sugar substitutes offered. Terrible salad !!! Expensive $16 or $18 not sure, This menue does not list prices on line to double check price I paid. It was not that big either. The beef nachos ok, nothing great small quantity, not much beef expensive salsa or sour cremenot enough. A joke for $18. The beef in salsa was not even seasoned. My boyfriend ordered the Philly steak sandwich and the serving is a half of a sub and side salad $18 crazy. Ok tasting. He also ordered a Roarbach draft which was good at an outrageous $8 a medium sized draft . Got out of there for $85 and a salad to bring home that I can not eat it is so bad .

Place was empty, tried to sit as a party of 5. 2 adults 2 infants 1 child. Hostess shook her head said "no sorry" and that's it. No explanation, no time line, just no. I understand if there's reservations but really? Literally the whole dining half was empty.

We had 5 people and stopped for a quick bite. The service was very poor, the burgers were overcooked and surprisingly ice cold. I ordered a Stella and was given a bud light glass with a very light beer. All of our orders were bad and not correct. We complained and were told there was no manager working. We were given a number for a manager and no one answered. The young server apologized and gave us a small discount

A group of 8 of us ate there last night. Prior to ordering we asked if the checks could be split amongst us and the server said yes and then took our order. Cooked appetizers came out and the one who ordered a side salad had to wait another 5 minutes. Half of the tables food was served but then it was about another 5 to 10 minutes before the other half was served. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta but they forgot the cajun....When we were finished she brought the checks and handed them out and informed us that gratuity was already added. They charged every check a 20% gratuity!!! No where on there menu or in their restaurant is it posted that with a group of people gratuity will automatically be added to the bill. Nor did the server inform us prior to ordering. However the only thing the menu did state was that they don't separate checks when the party is larger than 6 people. When I questioned them they only stated that it is their standard practice. My gripe is that people need to be informed of these things or it needs to be posted so people are aware. Also the new standard gratuity is 18% not 20%, which is higher than the 15% it used to be. I am a restaurant manager and have many years of serving experience so I am all for giving servers the tips they deserve, however I will not tip 20% for poor service, and I know many many many people that have the same opinion. This will effect us from returning to your restaurant.

On 4/11, 5 of us went to dinner around 8:00. There were not many people in the place but it took 20 minutes for a server to even approach our table. One person ordered a Stella and was given something different by the server. When we wanted another drink, we went to the bar to get it because our server was no where to be found. Four people got burgers which were overcooked and cold. There was no manager to talk to about this bad experience. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

We were ordered food, that we expected to be well received, but instead we received food 45 minutes late, buffalo chicken wraps, with odd tasting sauce, that we didn't order, that also made us sick. We never received refills or was checked on for anything. And we were charged half for just fries. $8 Terrible service. Not going to this location again.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’m not even sure why this happened! We arrived as a group of three women around 6pm on a Saturday night and were promptly seated. After ordering drinks and water we waited and waited. We ordered food - and after one hour it never came. The waitress told us the kitchen had no cooks and “ we didn’t forget about you, the food is coming.” People around us were being served. We told her it’s completely fine, no stress at all and Can we please have another round of drinks? After another half hour, she came over and said her systems were down and something happened with the order. We told her no stress at all and to cancel it and could we please have the check. We were very surprised to see after two hours of watching people around us be served and our food never arriving that she didn’t even comp one drink (or round!) for our small table of three! I used to go here 13 years ago when they first opened when I was in college and it was much different. We were sad and disappointed. Stopped by on Saturday in Canandaigua at 7:00 PM and was told they couldn’t seat us because kitchen was backed up. Stopped by location in Geneva on Sunday at 6:50 PM and was told the same thing. We arrived excited to try this place, only to be told they couldn’t seat us (not once but twice at different locations) not because the dining room was full, but because the kitchen was backed up. No waitlist, no estimate, just a vague “we’re not seating anyone right now.” It’s frustrating to be turned away when tables are visibly open and staff seem unsure how to handle the situation. I understand that kitchens get overwhelmed, but that’s a management issue—not a reason to deny guests a seat. A simple heads-up online or a better system to manage flow would’ve gone a long way. We ended up leaving hungry and disappointed. Hopefully they figure out a way to balance demand with service soon.
