Mark's Pizzeria

We were so happy last year when Mark's came back to our area. I have some picky eaters in my family, and they are able to make the food exactly how they like it. We come in at least once a week, and my son really loves seeing his "pizza friends". They are wonderful to my son, and you almost feel that calling them professional is an insult because they are so nice it doesn't feel like they're doing it because it's the job. Great place, great food, and awesome crew. 👍🏻

We are visiting from Ottawa, Canada and staying close by. We are so glad we found this place. This pizza is so beyond what is available back home. We had the Old World, thin crust with the two sauces. The garlic accentuates the taste so much. All about it is so awesome. Staff is also top rate! Thanks for everything, such a great pizza experience!

Zack and is team are always so welcoming and friendly when I go in! The other night I happened to stop in right before closing in hopes they had some slices left and he offered to make some fresh, which was super appreciated. It’s clear his positive attitude has spread to his staff as well, and the food is always good here!! Will definitely keep coming back to this location.

The food arrived to the table hot and fresh. The cheese pull for the mozzarella sticks was cool according to my kids. The pizza was tasty and had plenty of toppings on it. The staff was friendly and polite. The atmosphere in this place was welcoming and quiet. At the time of the visit my family was the only ones in the establishment. Overall, if I were to order again I would.

I like the dining area with plenty of tables. When I’m out doing errands with the kids and don’t want to make them wait even longer for lunch, it always goes over well if I ask them if they want to stop at marks. The kids love the giant sized slices. They partner with the library reading program as well and we love our library!

Fantastic pizza, fantastic people. I try to cook at home, but when I do treat myself, I can count on awesome pizza or the very best Philly cheese-steak sandwiches ever, and I lived in Philadelphia for 2 years. Highly recommend. 👍

My Trucking adventures continue... On my way to central Quebec from central Ohio, I stopped at a hotel exactly half way. I always look through Google Maps to see what's around to eat. I see Mark's Pizzeria within walking distance. Without looking at the menu, I make the call... "Do you have calzones", and a girl said "yes". I check in at the Lux Hotel across the street, and the front desk had a menu. The clerk highly recommended Mark's. Made the second call to place the order. I spoke with Zack, the owner. Ordered a Ham and Spinach Calzone to go. Got there as soon as it was coming out of the oven. Zack, and everyone else were busy prepping, slicing, boxing up pizzas. Zack took the time to come out to greet me, and shook my hand. That's a big deal in my book. Huge brownie points. He cut up my calzone, boxed it, and handed it to me personally. After a lively conversation, he told me to open the box. Instantly, I got this waft of garlic and butter that was brushed over the dough. Nice and golden yellow, with slight browning along the pinched edge. Visually, it was very appealing. Zack's parting words were "I hope you enjoy it, it's made with love". Yet another big deal in the book. As I was leaving, two guests were sitting down, enjoying a couple of slices (yes, they sell pizza by the slice). The man said to me "they're really good", referring to my order, as he was woofing down a very well stocked supreme slice. The woman, with her mouth full of her own slice, was nodding her head in agreement. Nice interaction. I get back to the hotel, and popped the top. The dough was nice and tender, and easy on the bite. Nice balance of Ricotta and Mozzarella, with a good amount of elasticity on the pull. The ham was sliced first, then cut to smaller pieces, which I really appreciate. Never liked "cubed" ham in my calzones. The Spinach was evenly distributed throughout, awarding me in every bite. The sauce was balanced, not too sweet, not too salty, not too much basil or oregano. Tasted "fresh", like a marinara should. Overall it was an excellent experience. The engagement of the owner/staff, and the quality of the product earned a "star" on my own personal Google Maps locations. I will most certainly be back through here again, and stopping by Mark's for another good meal. Cheers!

Food was great. Pizza was cooked to perfection. Wings were good too. We were in a middle of a rain storm with LOTS of flooding on our road. Our delivery guy Brian went out of his way to make sure we got our food. He parked several houses up and walked the hills of the yards to get to our house. He apologized for being a minute late. He earned his tip already added to the bill but then we gave him more cash for going above and beyond. Awesome experience.

The pizza is amazing! Plenty of toppings and cooked to perfection. Delivery is fast. We have ordered three times so far and each order has been perfect! The best pizza in the area is back!

I've had a ton of pizza in my life, and my body shows it, but Mark's is my favorite. I've lived all over and no one is as good as Mark's. The dough, the sauce, just everything is perfect. Every time we are in town this is one of our first stops. The only issue is the price. It has skyrocketed and that is frustrating.

Glad to have Mark's back, but I wish they would get their act together. We have ordered 4 times since they reopened, and twice our orders have been messed up. On the first occasion my wife ordered a meatball sub. She noticed when she picked up the order that the employee packing it up was struggling with the sub. When she asked if the sub was OK, she was assured it was. However , once opened at home , half of the bottom bun was missing. A call to the manager got a fresh replacement sub delivered. It had a whole bottom bun, albeit burnt. This time, we got what had to be the messiest pizza I have ever gotten. It wasn't cut into even slices, and all the toppings had slid to the middle of the pizza. We also had two of the three fried doughs we ordered have no cinnamon sugar on them. I like the food even though it is a bit pricey, but for what I pay I expect the food to be right.

Your typical conveyor belt run pizza. Was really good when they reopened.. last couple months not so much. Wings I’ve ordered forgotten to be dropped when I arrive at pick up time. Super Bowl Sunday I set up pizza ahead of time trying to play it smart.. 5pm I get it and get it home it’s on the cool side.. so I think ok they were busy. Then my wife orders a special and ends up paying double due to “ordering online”.. pizza was sloppy after delivery .. pick up your slice the cheese just slides off. I’m done with marks for awhile.. I’ll go back to the hometown spots.

This pizza was so gross and had so much grease. I called and the manager basically told me “oh well”. Will never go back here again.

Service was great the guy my wife talked to claimed to be the owner and that the order would be 100% correct as she didn’t want bacon on the bbq pizza. The order was correct but the food itself was subpar to say the least. We just moved to the area from Solvay and figured we would try Mark’s as we liked uncle mikes in camillus which used to be a marks before being sold to an employee or family member. The pizza was over cooked and even seemed dry, wings were done but had no crisp to them at all, cheese fries were over cooked.

I order from this Marks pizzeria ever Sunday for about 2 years now. I live in Waterloo, 5.4 miles from marks. The delivery radius is 5 miles. Now I would not have an issue if they chose not to deliver the first time, but they have continuously delivered to me. All of a sudden, yesterday they decided that I lived to far away. I am a valued customer. I tip well, I do not complain and am not difficult. To me this is just wrong. It isn’t like I live in a city where a couple of thousand people calling, or sharing customers with other marks. It’s almost like I did something disrespectful, which I know I didn’t. Marks has me feeling like that hate me.
