Ambiente di altri tempi, con un’atmosfera calda e familiare che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il personale è sempre gentile e accogliente, pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con un sorriso. I panini sono una vera garanzia: sempre abbondantemente farciti con ingredienti di qualità, freschi e gustosi. Ogni visita è una conferma… o meglio, un conflitto tra il desiderio di provare qualcosa di nuovo e la voglia di ordinare il solito preferito! Consigliatissimo.

Ottimo per pausa pranzo. Nonostante le dimensioni del panino, un po' contenute, la qualità degli ingredienti è indiscutibilmente ottima. Avrei preferito poter scegliere un pane diverso, ma considerata la sapidità del ripieno ci può stare. Durante l'ora di pranzo abbiamo trovato un po' di coda, nonostante questo ci hanno servito con gentilezza, consigliandoci pure qualche abbinamento. Il prezzo ci sta, dipende da cosa si sceglie. Consigliato prendere un bicchiere di vino da accompagnamento.

Excellent place for breakfast and a coffee, or a quick meal. Plenty of outdoor seating, great service, and exceptionally good sandwiches made with a variety of Italian products. Tried the one with swordfish, cheese and onions, simply outstanding taste!

This is a typical local spot, the staff spoke english quite well and prepared delicious sandwiches for us. Fresh ingredients, huge selection, low prices. Be prepared to to wait, but it's worth it! I absolutely do not recommend place serving coffee from the same company. The guy was rude and even cheeky. He refused to make coffee to go, even though they have takeaway cups. Since he is Italian, it probably won't bother him, but this is important information for tourists. Do not buy coffee there.

Amazing lunch spot where you can get freshly made sandwiches with whatever you like. They have various meats, cheeses and deli items to pick from. We got mortadella, pesto, straciatella on ours and they slice and make the sandwiches per order. The staff are friendly and will give their advice on the combinations which is very kind. It is very reasonable for a sandwich as well.

I tried four different sandwiches at Gran Ristoro in Genoa and they were absolutely fantastic. Each one was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and made with great attention to detail. The bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, and the fillings were generous and well balanced. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff was friendly and quick, even though the place gets very busy, which only shows how popular it is with both locals and visitors. If you’re in Genoa and want an authentic sandwich experience, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommended!

Amazing sandwiches. We were in another cafe having drinks and could see locals queuing. Decided to give it a try. You choose your meat cheese etc. The lady serving was really helpful and made suggestions as to what went best together. Great place for lunch. Didn't wait for a table but the queue was about 15 minutes as so busy

Great sandwich shop, fantastic place for lunch for the family, while on the go exploring the beautiful Genova city. The choices are overwhelming (in a good way), and we don't speak Italian, but we got great help from the staff, they were helpful and patient, and the sandwiches were delicious! It gets busy around lunch time, so might take some time to find seating, but no reason to panic: line up, get your sandwich, it will all work out for you!

The greatest sandwich I have ever eaten, and as an Irishman, I don’t say those words lightly. There’s such a variety of meats, cheeses and ingredients at the deli, I genuinely didn’t know what to order. The staff are so friendly and ended up making me a sample of two completely different sandwiches so I could experience lots of flavour. If you’re looking for the best sandwich, come no further.

My wife and I stopped in Genoa on our Mediterranean cruise and I knew I had to try this place. It did not disappoint at all and was probably the best sandwich of my life. The employees are super nice, speak English, and we're very helpful (they pointed out that the meat and cheese combo I asked for didn't pair well and made great suggestions instead.) On my last visit to Gran Ristoro, I was literally moved to tears from the sandwiches that I ate (see photo). The owner of Gran Ristoro (Stefano) is a genius - the Picasso of sandwich-making.

Qualità e simpatia. Cicoli di montagna, cipolle e olio piccante + chianti piccolo 4,3€. Tornerò per altri abbinamenti. Mezz'oretta di fila ma si può prenotare al numero whatsapp con una mezz'ora di anticipo, cosa che probabilmente farò in futuro.

Nice little spot, well shaded. There is plenty of seating outside and affordable prices. I found their chocolate croissant not to be too great, but they at least had Cafe Crema, which is absolutely delicious

Attività storica con qualche difetto di troppo per la fama di cui gode. Il pane, stamani, era decisamente tenace, forse non fresco. L'imbottitura era di discreta qualità ma non commisurata al prezzo di vendita, soprattutto considerando che le quantità non sono abbondanti. 14€ per due panini con affettato, formaggio e salsa/ortaggi (senza bevande) sono decisamente troppi anche in tempi di carovita come quelli odierni.
