Sublime pizza, excellent atmosphere, and music like no other! The best I've ever had!
One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The dough is unique and worth trying. The staff and owner are friendly. I'll gladly return.
A family-run, welcoming place. The pizza and farinata are excellent, not to mention the other dishes, all executed to perfection... All topped off with friendliness and fair prices. We've been going to La Rosa dei Venti for many years, and Maurizio and his exquisite hostess have never disappointed us. CONGRATULATIONS
Excellent farinata, generous portions (the first time I couldn't finish it), friendly staff, reasonable prices. I returned later. The first courses aren't listed on the menu, so you have to ask (a strange choice). But they're excellent, even the plating is very thoughtful. The fried fish was good and plentiful. The desserts were exquisite; the tiramisu was the best I've ever had. Average/low price (1 farinata, two fish first courses, 1 fried dish, 4 desserts, coffee, limoncello, €29 each). Only suggestion: a few meat dishes are missing, and it would be helpful to point out that there are dishes other than pizza.
Top!
A simple but excellent pizzeria in the Molassana area. The pizzas are truly large, thin enough, and very, very filling. I had a diavola with Tropea onions and 'nduja, highly recommended; it was truly excellent and flavorful. I also had spaghetti with seafood, perfectly seasoned and very tasty. To finish, we had a slice of Sacher torte and a tiramisu, the latter in particular being very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating; the waitress stopped by our table several times to joke with us.
I went for a bite to eat with my friends and colleagues. It was my first time there, and it was a lovely surprise and a wonderful evening. The place has a family atmosphere and is a great place to eat something delicious. I tried the paela and the tagliatelle with mushrooms, which were truly excellent. The sliced steak with mushrooms... The dessert was amari. What more can I say? I had a wonderful evening, and I commend the staff for both the cuisine and the table service... Always very attentive and thoughtful. I recommend the place.
A truly welcoming place, with friendly and helpful staff. We'd already come here for the farinata (which I highly recommend because it's truly delicious). The pizzas are also excellent...the burrata is sublime! The wait times are very reasonable, as are the prices, considering the quality of the products used and the satisfaction of the palate 😉... Recommended!
Cena con amici buona la pizza proposta in varie declinazioni anche vegetariana. SERVIZIO VELOCE LOCALE PULITO. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo posteggio bisogna cercarlo lungo la strada..
Thin-crust pizza, just the way I like it, a wide selection, ingredients that are definitely not lacking, and a red beer with just the right hint of bitterness. Service is basic but efficient, and above all, friendly. The craving for pizza, when it strikes, leaves no escape, but here you leave completely satisfied.
The pizza was good, the staff was very friendly, but the wait was endless even though the place was full.
Their cuisine is of a high standard and rigorous. I can confidently say, without fear of contradiction, that at La Rosa dei Venti you can experience the deepest and most authentic nuances of Ligurian tradition. Personally, I tried the following dishes and was not disappointed: Chianina Ravioli with Genoese Tocco; When the ravioli arrived at my table, I immediately smelled the meaty aroma that intoxicated me. My heart filled with joy and my stomach with hunger. It had been a long time since I'd savoured such delicious smells and flavours. Honestly, their homemade Genoese Tocco is the best I've ever tasted in Genoa, at least to date. A perfect combination of the ravioli pasta, its filling, and the stewed meat. All perfectly balanced and without any excess saltiness or acidity. The house wine (or by the glass) was quite good. Incredible, but true! It was a Trebbiano (an eccentric, but effective pairing!). If you're looking to upgrade, I recommend purchasing any bottle from their wine list, as you certainly won't go wrong. The prices are absolutely average, or rather, affordable, especially considering the quality of the food you'll find in the dishes they serve and the wine they pour in your glass. The service is attentive, and I must say they were hospitable, thoughtful, and helpful, demonstrating a certain aptitude for the famous "Customer Care" (or Guest Care) that is a big deal in Genoa! The restaurant is a bit dated and not very large, but it's bright and, above all, very clean. It has a unique charm, and you can relax while dining. The atmosphere is informal, and the clientele is mostly made up of Genoese passing through and, fortunately, some locals. I remind you that for a full review of this place (including a photo gallery), you can visit my website (the address is in my profile).
Everything was delicious, the farinata was good quality and definitely enough to satisfy anyone. The prices are moderately high, but absolutely in line with Genoa (€15 on average for two portions of farinata, the smallest dish). The place is very basic, but you can tell from the entrance that this is definitely not Cracco's place. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
This pizzeria is a good place to have a big and well-priced pizza. I ate a 4 stagioni and it cossted 7€. It was very big and tasty. The service was very nice, but the place could be a bit more decorated. However, overall I give 4 stars because it is one of the best places in Genova to have a pizza.
Ho comprato la farinaa da asporto a 26 euro al kg che mi sembra tanto non lo so parlo per esperienza dalle altre parti pur essendo buonissima l'ho pagata di meno....booo non saprei però devo ammett…
Not one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, but average. The farinata was truly remarkable; I'd say it's their signature dish. The service was fast and friendly, the place was homey, tidy, and clean.
Food: Farinata was very good, the pizza dough wasn't terrible, but nothing special for my personal taste. Some of the ingredients on top were raw or unsuitable (raw sausage, peppers not grilled properly, BBQ hot dogs with tough skin, and one pizza had completely raw onions). The price was a bit excessive, especially considering it's on the outskirts of town.
Unfortunately, this now-retro place needs a complete overhaul. You don't get the feeling of entering a place where passion for what they do is fully expressed. I was there several years ago, I returned recently, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. I'm speaking for the pizza, which isn't bad, nothing more; they put oregano everywhere, and the quality of the ingredients is certainly not top-notch. The farinata is terrible; I don't understand why some people say it's good; either they're satisfied or they've never eaten the original. I don't recommend it.
The atmosphere was unclean, with waiters and cooks standing outside constantly smoking. I ordered grilled fish and had severe food poisoning thirty minutes after eating. You deserve a complaint; the grilled swordfish was inedible, clearly not very fresh produce. I'd have your place closed down.
I hope they read this review before heading to this place, if you can call it that. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star, but it doesn't even deserve one. If you want to spend the day in the bathroom, go ahead. The place isn't the best in terms of hygiene, with raw food and sour desserts. Furthermore, the owner is boastful, saying he's up to date on everything. It would be better if he just walked away. Another little gem: we paid at the cashier, asked if we could use the card (which is mandatory), and the girl, in a grumpy manner, said yes, if you have nothing else, yes...highly not recommended. I hope, as I repeat, that she reads it before going to this place.
I had dinner with friends this evening. Since my daughter is diabetic, I went to ask the pizza chef how much a pizza dough weighed so I could get the right insulin dose. He was very annoyed and told us he didn't have time to answer the question. After a few seconds, perhaps realizing the situation, he did. After thanking me, as I was heading to the table, he "brilliantly" exclaimed, "Who sent these to us tonight!!!" I didn't leave the restaurant so as not to ruin anyone's dinner, even though it was worth it for us to leave, leaving the table empty. After a few seconds, a lady arrived, trying to be polite, asking if there was anything they could do or for more information to better care for my daughter. The owner showed courtesy and respect for his customers—one Genoese-style pizza was edible. Only the waitress's courtesy saved the evening a little.
