Typical Genoese restaurant. We had a mushroom dinner that was truly satisfying. Crudités of porcini mushrooms as an appetizer, and we ordered more to finish the meal: tagliolini with mushrooms and fried mushrooms. Everything was excellent. There was still a gap, so we tried the tiramisu.

The interior dining room is welcoming and cool, and it was very comfortable. The wait staff were helpful and very kind. As for the food (I had sautéed calamari with potatoes and mushrooms, and fried porcini mushrooms), what can I say? Impeccable, everything delicious. Plus, outside the restaurant you can admire the beautiful abbey. Highly recommended!

The last two experiences under the previous management hadn't been positive. Yesterday, however, with the new management, we had an A+ lunch. The marinated swordfish was delicious, not to mention the excellent tagliolini with white truffle. The service, however, stands out above all else. The restaurant was packed, but we were looked after and pampered by the young and dynamic staff, who didn't make us wait any longer than necessary. Congratulations, and have a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed the overall experience. We opted for a special menu base on the local and famous Focaccia Al Formaggio served in different flavors: the traditional, the one with Pesto, than ham, the one with mushrooms and the Pizzata. Strongly suggested.

Locale non semplice da raggiungere, sulle alture di Genova, ambiente ben curato, rilassante e personale molto gentile e disponibile. A mio parere il punto di forza del ristorante sta nel Menù dei funghi, rigorosamente stagionale, ma sono convinto che anche altri piatti siano superiori alla media. Funghi porcini fritti, soutè di calamari, funghi porcini e patate, una delizia per il palato e sottolineo la grande qualità del fungo porcino presentato in diverse modalità; buoni i dolci, discreta qualità della carta dei vini, ma questo non è un punto di forza, rapporto qualità/prezzo discreto ma quando si tratta di funghi porcini, ci sta. Torneremo (tra agosto e settembre dell'anno prossimo)

Assurdo, abbiamo usufruito della serata acciughe, spaziale. Buonissima la focaccia di grano saraceno. Da tornarci anche per altri piatti. Top

I was here with friends...a typical Ligurian trattoria in the hinterland, very close to the splendid church of San Siro di Struppa. The fish menu was good, although I was hoping for something more. I'll definitely return to try the typical Ligurian dishes, although the quality/price ratio needs to be reconsidered. Fast service and attentive, friendly staff.

A cozy trattoria located on the hills of Struppa. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining. The dishes range from classics, such as lasagna with meat sauce and pansoti with walnut sauce, to more innovative dishes, such as pansoti with speck and arugula pesto. While the latter was very good, unfortunately, I didn't have the same pleasant experience with the other dishes I ordered. The lasagna wasn't cooked well, and the mushroom-based main course was extremely salty. The service is unfortunately quite slow. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Christmas 2025. I can only give it two stars. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything exceptional. There's certainly effort, but tradition is lacking, and the menu was limited. Anyway, there's nothing more to say. I'd return for the place, but there's little empathy with customers, so in my opinion, you could improve.

Ridiculous dishes at Cracco-esque prices. If you know the old Piro, that's just a wonderful memory. Since it changed management, it's become incredibly expensive. My wife and I ordered a plate of tagliolini with mushrooms for €18, and my wife ordered the meat pictured for €25, plus two glasses of wine, a grappa, and a water. We paid €76. Never again!

Worst experience ever, a nice lunch which ended in food poisoning. Do not recommend eating nor drinking anything in this restaurant.
