We happened to be on a trip, so we asked if there was room and they gave us a table. We had delicious pizzoccheri, a second course with polenta taragna with ribs, braised beef and venison stew. Everything was delicious.

Felice, the owner and chef, is "a great guy." His friendliness is second only to his skill in the kitchen. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in a family atmosphere. The polenta and venison were top notch. A special mention also goes to the girl who serves.

We really enjoyed the delicious food, historic atmosphere and attentive service. The polenta with bitto cheese is incredible flavourful and smooth. The Pizzocheri (buck wheat pasta, cabbage, potato & cheese) is delicious. The beef, pork ribs, and venison is tender and flavourful. We finished off with fresh blueberries and vanilla gelato. We also tried sorbetto al braulio which was very herbaceous. Overall an incredible dining experience while travelling through Lake Como and the historic village of Fenile.

Excellent polenta, ribs, venison, and braised meat. Smiling staff, friendly atmosphere, and ate outside under the brand new awning. The young woman serving was enthusiastic and tasteful. A beautiful place to remember.

Good food served with courtesy and friendliness, a simple trattoria just the way I like it. I'll be back. I don't have any photos of the dishes we enjoyed because we chatted the whole time with other diners. In short, it felt like a family Sunday ☺️ Fenile..... a very pretty and well-kept village surrounded by breathtaking views in every season.

We stopped by chance for lunch and it was a great choice: salami and cheese platter, pizzoccheri and hot blueberries with ice cream, all EXCELLENT! For two people, with half a liter of red wine and two coffees, we spent Euro 46.00.

Organized motorcycle tour to have lunch at their place. Excellent choice, 11 of us ate their menu: pizzoccheri followed by three different meats accompanied by polenta made with local flour. Pizzoccheri, slightly sweet from the salt, but excellent flavor. The meats: venison salmi, pork ribs, and stew. I didn't try the ribs, but the rest was truly delicious. The polenta... worth the trip 💖. A couple of bottles of Inferno, not amazing, but not bad either. Excellent and friendly service, more than fair price. Thank you!!!

A very rustic, family-run restaurant. The first surprise is the extremely limited menu: 1 appetizer, 1 first course, and 1 second course. If you don't like anything, you have to leave. The problem is, you only find out once you're seated. The waitress is nice and friendly, but the second surprise comes from the owner when we get the bill. Since we didn't like the first and second courses and didn't want them, we ordered two appetizers plus drinks, coffee, and an after-dinner drink. When we got the bill, the owner increased the price of the dishes because we'd only ordered appetizers, so the price was different. It's a shame we weren't told about this until later. I doubt it's legal to change the price of dishes at will, but this attitude from the owner is absolutely unacceptable. When we asked for an explanation, he just went for broke. I wanted to call the police, but my wife stopped me so as not to ruin our day, but business owners like this deserve to be reported. To be honest, I even had the suspicion that he did it just because we were tourists. I doubt that if we had been locals he would have increased the price of our dishes... it's up to you to draw your own conclusions.

We were there recently and were disappointed! It's not like it used to be! The portions were small and the menu incorrectly listed polenta with three main courses, but then only brought two, without mentioning the third was missing! The sorbet was tiny! Prices have generally gone up and portions have gotten smaller! The service is poor. What a shame...
