Siamo stati una sera a cena. Bell' ambiete, luminoso e accogliente. Spettacolare e buono l' antipasto su tagliere, ottima la pizza servita su pala. Davvero un posto in più dove tornare. Gentile e professionale il servizio.

Feeling at home... We've been coming to Mezzoldo for about a year now, and Il Sole has become our go-to restaurant. Let's start with the food...excellent. From the appetizer platter, to the homemade and delicious first courses, we arrive at the second courses with the fantastic taragna. We finish with amazing homemade desserts (the maritozzo deserves a special mention). We've always been greeted with a smile, from everyone, whether at breakfast, lunch, or dinner...even though they're always busy with a thousand things to do, they always give you a smile and attention. In addition to the amazing workmanship of the traditional cuisine, we'd like to pay tribute to the pizza a pala. Allow me to say that it's not your average pizza. Refined and excellent ingredients...once you've finished it, you'll want to try another one right away! Make way for the young people! We ate there for lunch and dinner, and the restaurant was almost always full. The house dishes were excellent, and the meat was delicious. The pizza was delicious, and the price was always consistent with the quality of the ingredients.

We had dinner with a group this evening. We had the pizza by the slice, delicious! The quality of the food is very high, with fresh ingredients and excellent combinations. The burger was also very good. The staff was very friendly, we recommend it and will definitely be back!

The food is truly excellent; the stratagliata is a must-try. The portions are fine, the appetizers are delicious and detailed, while still preserving the flavors of this valley. The service was impeccable, with a smile. The only flaw, but it's not their fault, is that the acoustics and the volume of the guests' conversations were quite "testing." But I think that's a normal characteristic of the Bergamo mountain communities. Fortunately, even the loudest voices remain silent while they eat! We didn't see or stay in the rooms.

I stumbled upon this lovely hotel. I imagined it to be a remote place with only 166 inhabitants, but I found myself surrounded by young, old, and not-so-old people, all active and pleasantly engaged. The hotel exceeded my expectations; the food was truly excellent. The prices were fair, and the staff, both young and old, were attentive and helpful. The weather was magnificent. In short, I'll definitely consider this town and hotel for my heatwave escapes!

My review refers only to the restaurant, as I didn't stay at the hotel. And as for the restaurant, I can only give it 5 stars. Not a huge variety of dishes, but all excellent quality and typical of the area. I've been to this restaurant several times, and I can assure you that I've never found a "roe deer with polenta taragna" like this anywhere else. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely incredible overnight. After a day on the road via motorbike, we were so grateful to find Albergo as a place to relax. Service was so welcoming, rooms ar cozy with balcony views, but dinner was TOP! Fantastic local cuisine farm to table style fresh with great wines. It was the perfect closing to an epic ride through theountains.

Just one night... but unforgettable! 🌟 We spent just one night in this splendid property, but it was enough to fall in love with the place. The rooms are truly beautiful, furnished in traditional style, warm and welcoming, just like in times gone by. Even the bathrooms are meticulously maintained, clean and well-equipped, with fresh, fragrant towels. The view is breathtaking, the kind that makes you forget the rush and invites you to slow down. We had the pleasure of tasting delicious traditional dishes, prepared with care and tradition: a true immersion in local flavors. A heartfelt thank you to the owners and staff, who were welcoming, helpful, and extremely kind. Although short, our stay was truly special. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity, beauty, and human warmth!

Da decenni una garanzia .. piatti della tradizione con un tocco di contemporaneità che rende ogni occasione davvero unica e gustosa .. dalla stratagliata di manzo accompagnata con taragna davvero ecc…

Mi sono fermato in questo locale solo per un panino al volo, quindi non posso esprimere un giudizio sul servizio alberghiero. Tuttavia, dato che mi viene richiesto, lascio comunque cinque stelline di fiducia. Passando al panino, purtroppo non è stato eccezionale. Ho trovato l'abbinamento bresaola e grana un po' infelice: un formaggio più morbido si sarebbe sposato meglio con la bresaola, che di per sé è già un salume delicato. Il risultato finale è stato un panino un po' asciutto. Detto questo, quando si è in giro in moto le priorità sono ben altre e non ci si aspetta certo di trovare il piatto perfetto! Per un tocco in più, suggerirei per il futuro di aggiungere un filo d'olio e optare per un formaggio più morbido.

Ristorante accogliente che propone piatti di qualità della tradizione. Complimenti anche al giovane pizzaiolo che ha decido di continuare l'attività di famiglia. Ingredienti di prima qualità con tocchi personali veramente gustosi.

Mangiato veramente bene, dall'antipasto al contorno di porcini trifolati, peccato solo per le porzioni molto ristrette dei pizzoccheri e dei casoncelli.

We visited the restaurant outside of peak season, but it was still open! The dining room was practically empty, but the food was excellent! It wasn't particularly impressive, but it tasted great! Recommended for those in the area! Don't let the entrance fool you!

We stayed in the apartment adjacent to the hotel. Spacious and clean. It had a few closets and furniture that needed updating, but it was comfortable. Unfortunately, it was on the road, so it was noisy, and there was only one small window overlooking the mountains. However, it was just steps away from points of interest offering stunning views. We had the pleasure of dining there and the food was delicious. The owner was super friendly (very important to us!) I recommend it!

Ottima cena, ci siamo saliti per degustare le loro pizze, che ci avevano riferito assolutamente gustose ed originali. Ebbene sembrano enormi baguette condite con ingredienti molto buoni e gusti origi…

La mia recensione è il risultato di una media. L'albergo merita 4 stelle: è pulito, moderno, confortevole e la colazione compresa è ottima. Unico neo sono le dimensioni del bagno (molto piccolo) e il fatto che lo stesso non abbia né finestra né aspiratore. Per quanto riguarda invece il ristorante do 2 stelle. Niente da dire sulla qualità della pizza (buona, ma molto cara, forse troppo), ma il servizio non è stato assolutamente all'altezza. È l'unico ristorante che abbia mai visto in cui non mi sia stato dato un tovagliolo. Ho dovuto alzarmi e chiederne uno per ben due volte prima di averlo (senza una parola di scuse). In generale il servizio durante la cena è stato lento e poco presente (l'unica scusante è l'elevato numero di clienti, ma ho aspettato a lungo senza che nessuno si occupasse di me).

Four of us stopped for dinner on Sunday evening. True, we hadn't booked, but we just happened to be there at a bad time, but customers, or potential customers, should be treated differently. When we asked one of the ladies if there was room for four, we were told there was no room if we wanted pizza. We said we didn't want pizza. After a few moments of confusion, we were assigned a table; it was set for two and had three chairs. We waited patiently, but after several minutes of standing at the table where no one paid attention to us, no one set the table or brought the missing chair, we left. It's a shame because it seemed like a nice place.
