Siempre que venimos a Jávea hay al menos un día que comemos aquí. Como siempre excelente. El servicio siempre es súper atento y amable, en esta ocasión nos atendió Diego y la verdad que todo excelente. La comida estupenda! Seguiremos repitiendo.

Restaurante en primera línea de playa del Arenal, salón grande y terraza amplia pero que se suele llenar por lo que conviene reservar, buen servicio de mesas, platos bien elaboradas y presentados, sitio agradable en un lugar privilegiado, respecto al precio no es económico, pero tampoco excesivo, dentro de la media de restaurantes.

La atención excepcional por parte de Faisal, nos recomendó pedir el tartar y el arroz de corvina. Muy bueno todo. Además el precio del menú por persona entre semana de 23€ por persona, muy justo para todo lo que incluye. Repetiremos!

Nos gustó muchísimo el local y el ambiente que había era estupendo. El trato del personal muy bueno también, atentos y profesionales. Pedimos unos entrantes y una paella que estaba exquisita. Estuvimos dos semanas comiendo en distintos restaurantes de la zona y este es el que más nos gustó.

Espectacular. El arroz estaba buenísimo y el personal es súper simpático. Me hicieron un arroz para una persona porque viajaba solo por trabajo y se portaron genial. Y bien de precio. Un 10, mil gracias!

Uno de los mejores restaurantes, en los que he comido en Jávea, y he de decir que la atención de los camareros es Top de 10. Todo lo que pedimos estaba delicioso, y la carta es bastante amplia y muy mediterránea, para probar todo lo que el mar ofrece. Además que tienen opciones de carne muy buenas, que me dejaron muy sorprendida, porque la carne que se pidió un comensal de nuestra mesa estaba riquísima. En cuanto a la calidad, precio es mejorable, ya que todo lo que pedimos para cuatro personas fueron menos de 180, y de verdad que repetimos bebidas y tomamos dos postres, fue un festival. El arroz con bogavantes estaba, de tocar el cielo, y de verdad que todo se veía increíble en la carta. Ojalá pueda volver en otro momento, aprobar más platos de su carta o de los otros restaurantes que tienen en el grupo.

Fabulous location opposite the beach. Tables inside well spaced apart, welcoming staff, fabulous food and Dog friendly. Always our first choice when we drive up to Javea. Will be back soon.

Never fails to deliver . We’ve been coming to La Fontana for 20 years and it never fails to deliver. It’s our go to for Paella which , again today , was absolutely delicious. Despite La Fontana being super busy on Sunday lunchtime , the service was terrific as ever. Special thanks to Javier and his team and to our terrific waiter , lovely jubbly Osama ! As a local, I’ve tried a lot of restaurants in town and this was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. The lobster rice was incredible — rich, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Osama was fantastic, super friendly and really knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Spanish food in Jávea, this place is a must — especially for the lobster rice! 🦞

Really enjoyed La Fontana during our stay in Xabia. The location on the port is great, just by the promenade and right next to the statue of tennis star David Ferrer which is a nice touch. Food was excellent – I had the seafood paella and it was one of the best I’ve tried in Spain, rice cooked just right. Service was friendly if a bit slow at times, but honestly worth the wait. Prices are fair for the quality and the view. Would definitely come back again.

Great dinner here tonight. We went all Spanish - gazpacho, carpaccio of beef, paella mixte, créma catalan and a Spanish pastry dessert Pina colada and sangria drinks. We were even given a mis en bouche of a little jar of soup which was delicious. All food was delicious, well seasoned and lots of it. The staff were attentive and amusing too. We will be back as soon as possible and can’t recommend La Fontana highly enough. And it was very busy considering it’s midweek.

We have visited several restaurants along the Arenal seafront and this is definitely our favourite. Came here for dinner several times in February and March. Consistently high standards of quality and service. The restaurant is always busy which speaks for itself. The Fillet Steak melts in the mouth; fresh fish was delicious. Service has been superb on each of our visits. The atmosphere is always excellent. Great value for money. Fontana will continue to be our go-to place. Highly recommended!

Great menu del dia today with a superb selection accompanied by great service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the quality of food excellent. The menu del dia cones with hot fresh rolls, a choice of 8 starters, as many mains although some are for 2 people only and others carry a premium. That is followed by desserts and coffee. Highly recommended with a bill of 58 euros for the 2 of us including 2 glasses of wine.

We came specially to have lunch because we wanted to have a Meloso rice dish. We ignored the set menu and choose the sepia, prawn and artichoke meloso and weren’t disappointed. The stock used was gloriously rich and creamy. A glass of dry white wine was a perfect accompaniment. A lovely lunch.

A beautiful restaurant with brilliant food and good service. The attached shop offered a fantastic range of top shelf liquors also. My partner ordered the Paella and had not a single negative thing to say other than he wish he could order it again! They also offer a breakfast menu and some fried sides on top of their main menu. Would definitely visit again.

Visited this mid-way through our holiday (August 2024) as reviews looked good and lots mentioned good service. We had a great 1st visit there (I had fish with mussels - pictured) and it was great. Service was very good and very friendly/attentive staff (more so than any other restaurant we visited) - so much so we returned for our final meal of the holiday and again were not disappointed. Sea bass (pictured) was lovely. We had a table right on the promenade each time which made both visits even nicer. Would highly recommend. Book ahead as it can get very busy.

Our server Faisal was brilliant. Very patient as we tried to order in Spanish and even helped us with correct pronunciation. Highly recommend coming here. Amazing food. Staff very kind. We were even blessed with limoncello on the house.

Fantastic restaurant service and atmosphere. We celebrated the 4th anniversary of our first date where we started our relationship and it was as fabulous then as it is now. We had cuttlefish and prawn Avocado salad. Bothe were delicious and well prepared. For our mains we both had the excellent Salted Cod Fillet on Spinach and potatoes A must try dish. We try to cook it at home but not the same. The service was friendly and restaurant was spotless. A great evening thanks team! 😊

Fuimos una hora antes a reservar mesa y no hubo ningún problema. El restaurante estaba lleno pero aún así los camareros se preocupaban por que la gente consiguiera una mesa. Un servicio muy bueno al igual que la comida. Los precios no son excesivamente caros para ser una restaurante a pie de la playa. Una opción muy buena para pasar el día en la playa.

Hoy hemos estado cenando aquí en este restaurante y lo que hemos pedido estaba todo muy bueno, destacar que calidad precio muy bien para estar en primera línea de playa

El restaurante tiene un ambiente muy agradable, está en primera línea de playa y cuenta con parking público justo afuera. Además, no tuve que reservar, incluso en pleno verano a las 2 de la tarde, lo cual es un punto a favor. Sin embargo, el servicio fue bastante caótico: los camareros se confundían con las mesas, nos entregaron pedidos equivocados y hasta nos trajeron la cuenta cuando aún estábamos comiendo, insistiendo en que la habíamos pedido aunque repetimos varias veces que no. En cuanto a la comida, la pizza no me gustó: masa demasiado fina y muy simple. Los boquerones estaban bien, pero les faltaba sabor. No me gustó que entregaran comida con los platos rotos por los bordes. Si buscas un sitio solo por la decoración y el ambiente, puede merecer la pena, pero si lo que quieres es comer bien, no lo recomiendo.

Cada año un poco peor. Hemos venido varios años y cada vez baja un poco. Lugar bonito y. Con buen servicio en general, hay que reservar o apuntarse a la lista para que te den mesa. Esta vez las Tellinas eran insípidas y el calamar al ajillo normalito, la sepia y el atún esatan buenos.

Food was tasty but more cold than warm. I had to ask for salt as no condiments were offered. He seemed like he could not care less. Never asked if everything was OK with my meal. Never got offered a desert or asked if I wanted one. I'm very disappointed. I have come back to this review as that same evening I had the most awful food poisoning. I believe it was the meat that caused this and I was violently sick over 10 times throughout the night and early morning. I do believe the meat was reheated and then left to get cooler again and this may have been the cause. My friend and I ate and drank the same all day apart from the evening meal when I ate on my own.

As it was so hot we didn't have the meat or fish dishes that would have demonstrated the chefs' abilities. I had the prawn and avocado salad and my husband chose gazpacho and then chicken and pineapple salad with honey and mustard dressing, which he enjoyed. Nice waiter, slightly surly guy on reception duty, we had booked but who knows if we were on the list! It is a big place, so there are lots of tables. They were all a bit too close together for my liking, so it felt like being in a railway carriage, with waiters passing on either side of us. But I suppose they have to squeeze in as many covers as possible after the past two challenging years. As it is on the Arenal, prices are a little high for some things, for example 1.20 each for a bread roll, but of course, all restaurants are experiencing price increases for ingredients and gas/electricity. I think our salads were 11E and 9E and the gazpacho 7E, which was a bit steep given it was a small portion and no better than what you can buy in a carton at the supermarket. But overall it was a nice lunch and we would go back.
