We have been eating at The Lounge twice this week. On Valentines Day we had their special Valentines Day Menu and today we went for their Sunday Roast. We were absolutely delighted both times, both with the quality of the food and the service. The Sunday Roast was probably the best I've had in Gibraltar, so far.

Large group, looked after us really well. My food was lovely.

We got married in here which was wonderful next to the marina. We also are 2 meals here. The view is wonderful and in a nice area of Gibraltar. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The drink selection is good. The food was excellent. The star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding for dessert... We went back a third time just for this dessert and coffee. Definitely worth reading here.

We had our wedding ceremony at The Lounge followed by a wonderful breakfast for just the two of us. It was a really beautiful experience with breathtaking, sunny waterfront views. We will definitely have to come back in the future. Would highly recommend as an event venue

Wonderful location, the food was really good, fantastic service, prices weren't too high, outside sitting was marvelous with view to the marina. Toilet facilities were impeccable, all the health measures in place.

Ordered the special risotto and pork belly. Everything was cooked perfectly, staff were accommodating and switched the heaters for us sitting outside. Offering us to sit inside for a cocktail after the food. Zoe was our main server and was fantastic, very lovely lady . Would return if I'm back in the area.

Updated: This is my second time in Gibraltar and the Lounge Bar was the first on my list to visit. The food is extraordinary and the staff are very friendly. The outside tables have a great view especially in the evening.

Lounge is wonderful. Sit here all afternoon. It's so peaceful & relaxing it's a little piece of heaven where you can just relax & listen to the clinking of the ropes on the yacht masts. Food is fantastic & well priced as is the wine. Staff are cool & unobtrusive I highly recommend 👌

We got married here! What a fantastic day we had. Everything was brilliant from start to finish. The staff and service was exceptional. Nothing was rushed, they asked if we wanted a rest between courses, ample wine throughout the meal. The food was delicious, no complaints whatsoever from 19 of us, in fact some if the group went back the following day to eat and us the day after that. Thank you The Lounge, you made our day special. I would definitely recommend a visit. We will be back at some point.

Sehr gutes Fishh&Chips am Yachthafen! Konnten draussen in der Sonne sitzen - das Personal war etwas gefordert aber trotzdem freundlich, das Essen kam schnell und war frisch zubereitet!

Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the get go. Menu has a good range of options with my chosen Creamy Chicken and Tarragon Tagliatelle being very good indeed. To march the variety of food available, drinks menu also offers a lot to choose from. One of those places where a cheeky desert just can't be missed. The cheesecake with a paired liqueur rounded off a great visit. If the weather is conducive, a table outside offers a great harbour view.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of having our daughter’s wedding meal at the lounge. I cannot praise the team at this restaurant enough . The meals were delicious & wonderful. The service first class. The setting and service was amazing. Thank you you made our daughter’s wedding day.

Ein tolles Restaurant in einer schönen Umgebung direkt am Queensway Quay. Das Essen (Fish & Chips, Penne al Arabiata Risotto) war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und gemütliches Ambiente. Wir haben draußen auf der Terasse mit Blick auf die Yachten gesessen und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

We just wanted something for lunch so we chose from the starters. OH had cod and prawn croquettes, he said they melted in his mouth. And he loved the brushetta with Serrano ham. I had the pate, both of us were really happy with our choices. Lovely views and staff were really attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Lush place for lunch can imagine in the evening its really pretty.

Nice little restaurant on the waterfront. Their fish and chips is really good and they have nice selection of draft beers and cider.

The food was delicious. One of the waiting staff was incredibly hospitable and professional. She went above and beyond to make the night out pleasant. However some of the staff were incompetent one dropped hot food on me, another said it was not possible to put 2 tables together. The atmosphere and ambience was very nice. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there is no air-conditioning inside or no fans so it was a little too warm.

Booked Sunday lunch whilst in the UK. All was seamless. When we arrive a outside table with a veiw over the marina had been reserved for us but it was a little chilly so the front of house straight away sorted a indoor table with no fuss. The food was extremely tasty and shamefully more than we could eat. The wine choice suggested was also very nice and at a good price. Overall a very enjoyable time. Thanks to all the staff. Great location on a sunny day. Went for Sunday roast: lots of meat compared to other roasts, all well cooked. San Miguel on tap which some others on Queensway do not have. All around very good food and location. Edit, 2024. Food and drinks still good. Had the burger and poke bowl, both were very good. Kids burger was of good quality too. Seems like they fry their french fries in the same oil as fish though, slight taste to them .

Good place to eat, with great Stafford and good food. Seafood platter was excellent but chose wrong main, crispy pork belly. All served on a puree bed which coated everything and overpowered other flavours. Pork overcooked which dried it out and all covered in gravy which personally would have been better separate as made crispy crackling soft. However wouldn't put me off eating there again as all else was great.

Lovely meal, a pre christmas team lunch. Food was good and service friendly and efficient. Have already booked to go again. Waterside venue in Queensway Quay adds to the atmosphere.

Beautifully prepared Afternoon Tea. Great selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. The table in front of ours were having a Sunday Roast that smelt and looked divine… will be back very soon 😍

This is a charming restaurant and bar for the more discerning clientele of Gibraltar. The food is good and all reasonably priced, whilst overlooking the beautiful Queens Quay. Sadly tge service was very slow.

Lovely pasta! Tasted really good 👌 but the White Wine was not cold and we didn’t get the Parmesan we asked if we wanted and said yes to. So cook really great but service not so much evnthough they were friendly.

Honest foodie review!!!! Average food at best, my wife and I got married here and got a free included 3 course meal with them afterwards. For starters, I got the pate, she got the hummus, both were fresh. For entree I got the pork belly which was beautifully crisp but overall too heavy. She got the salmon which was light, nothing spectacular though. For dessert we got the cheesecake and toffee pudding, we should of got 2 toffee puddings. Absolutely delicious and luxurious, but as expected in a British territory. The cheesecake was another story, too sickly sweet, no cheese flavour, light like a mousse, thick crust....not a cheesecake, not even close. The wine was okay both red and white. Service was great, no problems. Obviously we were there to make wedding memories. The food was hit and miss, not that memorable except the toffee pudding with ice cream.....In my opinion this place is overrated, overpriced, if I had to be a paying customer, I would take my money elsewhere in Gibraltar.

A Gibraltar gastropub that yearns for haute cuisine but serves mid-range chic with a side of pretension—especially when Spain and Africa are so close, the missed culinary opportunities are astronomical. Food: Main: The so-called “signature” dishes arrives underseasoned and overhyped; flavor stalls at the launch pad. Sides: Chips are a tease—crisp on the outside, soft on the inside—vegetables feel like an afterthought. Overall: The menu reads ambitious, but the plate delivery is pleasantly pedestrian. Service/Ambience: Staff look the part of culinary trendsetters, yet the vibe leans more “pub with a budget glow-up” than actual gastropub magic. Noise can swing from polite chatter to full-on crowd, and the decor tries a bit too hard. Value: Prices flirt with gastropub territory, but portions and results don’t quite justify the bill for a Gibraltar night out. Verdict: Not a go-to for food purists; if you enjoy the theater and a decent drink, you might tolerate it as a scene, not a supper.

Lovely location for a drink and food. Starters were excellent, especially the burrata! Unfortunately, not great for a vegetarian Sunday lunch - there was no meat replacement at all (see the laughable photo which does exclude the accompanying vegetables). Also, mostly boiled vegetables and bland as a result. To be fair, they did drop the price for the dinner. There’s a much better option at Monique’s though!!

La carne que cuesta 65£ (!!!) la pedimos al punto menos y la trajeron como un zapato. Intentaron convencernos de que eso era punto menos como si no hubiéramos comida carne nunca. La tuvimos que devolver y trajeron unos solomillos que no cobraron. Ofrecen postres que no les quedan. Lo único destacable fue el camarero que el pobre hizo lo que pudo con el desastre de cena.

We went to The Lounge today for my father’s 62nd birthday. We had called earlier in the week to book and clearly stated it was for afternoon tea at 4:30 pm. When we arrived and asked for the afternoon tea, we were told it had to be pre-booked and that our reservation was marked as “lunch” (which makes no sense — no one books lunch for 4:30 pm). We were first attended by a guy who was completely unhelpful and completely ignoring the fact we were unhappy, already making the start to our experience negative. After speaking to the manager, they said they’d ask the kitchen to “try” to arrange something for us which was fine however, then they said that we need to pay £18 per person - though we stated some family members only wanted a hot drink (We were 9, including 3 children and a baby). Overall, it was the worst experience we’ve had — and we can definitely say we’ll never return. Thankfully, the restaurant next door, Monique’s, kindly squeezed us in and made sure my father’s birthday ended on a good note. On your online page, it states £10pp when it is 10 people or more, which we weren’t. I also specified on my phone call that it was for afternoon tea and was not told that we need to reserve anything beforehand nor pay any deposit, otherwise we would have especially it being a special occasion. We said we didn’t want to have to pay tea for 9 as we were 6 adults and had 3 children and a baby (Baby is still having baby food) and the children had already had snacks as were hungry before so only wanted a hot drink. One of our family members also has allergy to several foods which is why she wasn’t going to eat anything as has her own snacks, this is the reason why we weren’t going to pay for 9 people, there was no need. In order to avoid this happening in the future, staff should tell customers the correct information over the phone as I don’t think we were asking for anything out of the ordinary. Nevertheless, thank you for taking your time in reading our review and for your apology.

Worst experiencie ever. We booked a table at 16.00 pm but we managed to arrive 10 mint earlier. The table was empty but they literaly ignored us until 16.00pm. no drinks, no menú , nothing. 16.00pm and waiter are on the table , the service was poor and unfriendly. Noone was coming to check our table during the lunch. The rose wine It wasnt cold and the beer was flat. When we finish, we were waitting with our plates on the table for 20minutes whilst The waiters were speaking with others tables and cleaning empty tables, looking at us but still wasnt able to came over to check if we needed something else or just clean our table, that as result we endending fighting with los of flys around the food whilst trying to enjoy a drinks and let our food settle. All round terrible experience. THE BOOKING RESERVATION WAS LAST 5TH OCTOBER UNDER THE NAME OF MY PARTNER ,CAMERON. THANKS
