Vinimos recomendados y menudo acierto!! Nos pusieron un aperitivo nada más pedir de paté de panceta y puerro. Despues, un segundo aperitivo: 2 croquetas de jamón, buenísimos ambos. Arroz con bogavante súper recomendable, mucha cantidad y muy sabroso. No recomiendo pedirse nada más si se viene buscando esto, es suficiente para 2 personas. El ambiente es cálido y tranquilo, el servicio muy bueno; las dos camareras que nos atendieron súper pendientes en todo momento, cercanas y muy amables. Hemos salido encantados, a parte, el local es precioso. Volveremos!!

Fuimos a comer dos personas el martes 27 de enero . Pedimos para compartir ravioli de rabo de toro , tres raviolis por persona , muy ricos y la salsa deliciosa . Después rodaballo a la parrilla y lubina salvaje a la plancha , las dos raciones abundantes , perfectas de punto . De postre milhojas casera y flan de vainilla los dos postres muy ricos . Bebimos una botella de Enate 234 blanco y botella de agua . Total de la factura 111,60 € . Imprescindible reservar .

Impresionante!!! Hemos cenado hoy y ha sido perfecto. Él súper atento y amable, nos ha recomendado el vino y los platos, y el personal excelente. La cena riquísima, de los mejores pescados que he probado nunca, los raviolis rellenos de rabo de toro impresionantes y la relación calidad/precio muy buena. Nos hemos quedado con las ganas de probar los arroces. Repetiremos, sin duda. Gracias!

De momento, creo que es de los mejores sitios que he comido en Gijón. Con muchas ganas de ir pero nunca me había coincidido, y no se por qué, pero tenía la intuición de que comeríamos muy bien, y así fue. Un boquerón con unas huevas de entrante mientras nos traen la comida muy bueno. Salpicón de Bogavante muy rico, los Calamares guisados en su tinta muy buenos, Rodaballo muy rico, los postres muy ricos también. El Flan cremoso de Vainilla espectacular, el postre Limón y Mango muy rico, y unas galletitas como de mantequilla con unas nubes verdes también muy ricas. El trato al igual que la comida muy bien, un restaurante muy recomendable de los que sabes que vas a comer bien y con ganas de volver para probar mas platos.

Nos decidimos a comer en este lugar tras mirar varias reseñas muy positivas. Sin duda, un acierto. Un local con encanto, decorado de estilo marinero con detalles sutiles y elegantes. Pocas mesas que dan calidez y sensación de hogareño. El personal muy amable, rápido y cercano que no duda en recomendarte algo que se adapte a tus gustos. Respecto a la comida, una carta variada pero no muy extensa que da sensación de cuidar los detalles y sabores. Pedimos varios platos y nos gusto todo, desde el pescado, la carne hasta los postres. Exquisito sabor y productos de calidad. Sin duda vale el precio que pagas. Especial guiño a los postres, que habitualmente son los olvidados y los que menos se disfrutan tras los platos principales. No fue el caso ya que nos sorprendieron. Además comentando que era nuestro cumpleaños añadieron velad decorativas. En resumen, una experiencia de 10 tanto culinaria como de sensaciones. Sin duda repetiremos, enhorabuena por un trabajo tan bien hecho!!!

El Restaurante V. Crespo ofrece platos bien elaborados con sabores auténticos y de calidad. El ambiente es agradable y el personal muy atento, haciendo que la experiencia gastronómica sea muy satisfactoria.

Uno de los clásicos del buen comer en Gijón. Local sobrio, elegante y con carencia de luz natural. Por contra esas características ofrecen cierta sensación de intimidad que se agradece. El servicio correcto, muy correcto. Quizás les falte un poco de complicidad con los clientes que si da Marcos. En esta ocasión acudí con un menú cerrado de antemano por lo que no puedo valorar el precio. Desde luego no es un propuesta barata su precio medio pero está acorde con la calidad el producto. De entrada un jamón ibérico acompañado con un soberbio pan con tomate. Siguen unos calamares en su tinta con una gran salsa. Lo acompañan con un huevo frito pero creo que este aporta poco al plato. Terminamos con un rodaballo bien de punto y de calidad aunque un acompañamiento anodino le hacen brillar menos de lo esperado. Le doy las 5 estrellas porque ya he estado muchas veces y me consta su buen hacer aunque en esta ocasión quizás fuera de 4 la comida. Recomendable totalmente.

Hemos venido a pasar un fin de semana a Gijón y nos animamos a reservar en este restaurante por sus reseñas y cercanía a nuestro alojamiento. La primera impresión fue muy buena, local bonito y acogedor, trabajadores bien vestidos y educados y buena accesibilidad para el carrito de bebé. El dueño es un tipo encantador y se le ve preocupado porque cada comensal salga contento y satisfecho. Consideró que estábamos pidiendo demasiada comida y nos animó a hacer un par de cambios en la comanda pero veníamos con mucha hambre así que finalmente mantuvimos lo que teníamos en mente. Los entrantes muy ricos, mención especial al steak tartare y los raviolis. El pescado de 10/10, fresco y extremadamente bien cocinado, raciones muy generosas. No podíamos irnos sin probar el arroz con bogavante: pura fantasía. De los mejores arroces de nuestras vidas, es caldoso pero no demasiado, la cocción en su punto y el sabor espectacular. Me encantaría repetirlo cuando volvamos por estas tierras. Los postres deliciosos, mención especial al choxolate y avellana. El precio nos pareció barato para lo que estamos acostumbrados en Bilbao, que una cena así nos hubiera salido mínimo a 60-70 por barba. Salimos a 50 y habiendo pedido mucha comida. Gracias al equipo por la agradable velada, volveremos!

Un sitio al que hacía años que no iba y me alegra ver que no solo estaba como lo recordaba, si no que han conseguido evolucionar sin perder la esencia. Servicio amable, rapido y servicial, en un ambiente muy acogedor. Nos pusieron una crema de legumbre y marisco de entrante, que ya hacia ver qué la noche prometía. Después de entrante pedimos gamba fresca fuera de carta y de principales rodaballo y rubiel. Impecables ambos. Para mí siguen preparando el mejor pescado de Gijón. El vino blanco recomendado sorprendentemente bueno y ajustado de precio. Para rematar unos postres divertidos y muy ricos, y café invitación de la casa. Ni una pega a un restaurante que muy merecidamente está entre los top de Gijón.

Definitely one of Gijón's best restaurants! I've dined here twice in the past year and both occasions were to the same great standard. I hope to see V. Crespo back in the Michelin guide this year as they certainly deserve it, the quality of their food is on par, and indeed exceeds many currently on the guide in the region. On my initial visit I tried the croquetas which were the best I've ever had, along with the oxtail which was stunning and a delicious dessert. On my second occasion, which was recently, I tried the tasting menu, in which every dish was delicious and I couldn't find a dish I didn't enjoy. For €65, it's well worth the price. My favourite dish on the tasting menu was probably the venison, it was certainly the best venison I have ever tried. The service was also pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was completely packed, even on a Thursday evening, and so I recommend you secure a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. I will definitely be back to V. Crespo as in terms of the price-to-quality ratio, it is perhaps the best restaurant in Gijón.

Probably the best bang-for-your -buck gourmet restaurant in Gijón. It was a no-holds-barred lunch with friends (hence the bill) with delicious starters, incredible dishes of meat and fish, and fantastic desserts which blew our taste buds. Beer (Yiiihaaa, a great IPA locally produced by Tolibiers), wine (including a really good house white produced by themselves), sweet dessert wines and even some glasses of whisky. Worth every euro.

One of the best meals we had during our stay in Asturias. Excellent seafood, beautifully prepared, and very efficient service. The setting is lovely too. The chef/owner spent time with all the diners, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We had our young daughter with us, and the staff were very accommodating. It’s probably not an ideal setting for young children, but she also loved the food and enjoyed making a picture for the chef. Highly recommended!

We visited V. Crespo restaurant in June 2022 with some members of my family. It was late in the night but they received us. We ordered fish mainly (Bogavante and Lubina) and a quick entrance (Salpicón de Bogabante). Food was on point! Fresh, executed at the moment and quality was impecable! We were served in 45 minutes from the time we sat down, 9:15pm reservation. The salpicon de bogavantes and croquetas were served at the same time. By the time we had the croquetas they were cold. We had to ask for the plates to be changed to have the croquetas. Wine was never served during dinner, meanwhile, two waiters were standing around. Water was not refilled and we were never asked if we needed more water. The fish we ordered came out 5 minutes after the appetizers (croquetas and salpicon). We noticed that a table of about 10 people arrived 30 minutes after we did. It appears they wanted us to finish quickly to attend to that larger table. We felt completely ignored, unattended, and disrespected. The Michelin recommendation is completely overrated. We noticed the manager (a gentleman) attending the larger table, giving them his complete attention and even having conversations with them. It appears they know some of the people in the larger table. The tables next were also serving their own wine. For this caliber restaurant, it is unacceptable. We live in Spain 6 months of the year and we know that eating in 45 minutes is unacceptable and insulting. We were tsken for granted. We would have preferred for our reservation to be cancelled if they knew they could not provide the service that a Michelin recommended restaurant should deliver. When we spoke to the gentleman, he agreed. This shows that they know this is an ongoing issue and by continuing to make the same mistakes, it is a disrespect to the clients. We visit Gijon many times a year and this is the first time we have had this experience at this caliber of restaurant in the city and surrounding areas. Actually, for the amount of food we were served, not even in a cafeteria type restaurant in Spain we have had this experience. Thank you.

Sadly, I could not give a zero to this restaurant. Website showed this restaurant was opened today. We arrived only to be very rudely greeted and turned away. ‘We aren’t opened yet and what’s more we are fully booked today’. Your rudeness was someone else’s gain. Don’t bother with this restaurant, it costs nothing to be polite but an awful lot of energy to be so rude.
