The food was delicious. We also asked for well done meat and they understood how well done we are asking. You need to have some patience while they make food for you. It may take at least 15 mins to prepare your food according to my experience. Their burgers are well done to 158F which is good to know. Plenty of chicken options and less of vegan options.

Stopped in one night when my daughter and I were shopping at the outlets. This place is usually pretty busy. We stopped in a Wednesday night which was nice. We were seated quickly and asked if we wanted drinks. They brought our drinks and food rather quickly. Service slowed down a little at the end. We had to wait for refills and some to go containers. Aside from that my daughter and I enjoyed our delicious food and drinks. We recommend this place for families during the week and for singles on the weekend. Their happy hour looks amazing!

Fast friendly service. Good food. One of the very few places in the area that stays open late. I have started eating from the kids menu...mac and cheese served with broccoli 💕. With an appetizer and soup that is plenty to eat.

From the moment we walked into the restaurant, the ambiance felt inviting and sophisticated. The soft lighting, elegant decor, and soothing music created a relaxing atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff guiding us through the menu. We started with an incredible Caesar salad, followed by a perfectly cooked fiesta lime chicken—tender and full of flavor. The side dishes, especially the garlic mashed potatoes, complemented the meal beautifully. This steakhouse exceeded our expectations and is definitely worth a visit!

I believe Zach was our server on Thursday night around 9pm. Excellent server. Kept our drinks and plates full. Only problem was a table of overly drunk ladies started singing to the music playing. they were not good at it and my family did not go to a restaurant to hear drunks butchering songs and being obnoxious.

Everything went well on our visit to Applebee's. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and there was a pleasant atmosphere to have a wonderful evening with the family. I thoroughly recommend this place!

Just enjoying one of my favorite salads! The Oriental Chicken Salad. It's a available year round but is always refreshing during summer months. I especially enjoy the fact that no matter what location I order at, it's always made exceptionally well. But, I must say, this location is top notch! This salad was made with all the extras! You always know that you will not be disappointed going to Applebee's! Had lunch with my son. We had the Bourbon Shrimp and Chicken and the Quesadilla Burger with the Impossible patties. Both were very good. Update: Visited them again. And also thus time it was very good! Had the Shrimp and Sausage Penne and the 4 Cheese Mac and Chicken. For dessert the fresh baked Apple Pie, delicious! Looking forward to the next time!

The spinach dip & chips was very good. The pretzel sticks & cheese was also really good choices for appetizers. We really like both of those. The oriental chicken salad used to taste a lot better years ago. It had more crunch to it, the toasted almonds, the cilantro and the dressing was what really made the salad, the chicken used to be fresh crunchy crisp to it and warm atop the salad. So, that is disappointing that it's not as yummy as it used to be. The oriental chicken salad is one of their specialties, just not very special anymore. That's a bummer! My husband ordered their chicken sandwich and he said, it was very dry. He added a little ketchup, but he said it won't be something he'd order again. Our waitress was very good, and remembered everything and didn't even write down customer's orders. It's nice to have tentative service while dining out.

We love Applebee’s appetizers during happy hour. Three of us stopped by lunch during our shopping trip to Gilroy Outlets. Christian S. took our order and was friendly. Food was made to our liking. Plenty of sauce on our wings. I love Applebees celery, always crunchy and taste even better with ranch. We were there just after 2pm. Happy hour in Gilroy is from 2pm-5pm. We were a large party, so we expected some issue. However, I don't know what was up with the kitchen staff tonight, but they were making everyone look bad! Hair in the food . Burnt pasta raw steak shrimp on food when it was to be chicken. If it wasn't for our waiter DOM, the whole meal would have been a loss. Love Applebee's and this location is just like the rest. We have been to the chain in awhile and we were surprised that the menu selection featured some pretty good options and you can't beat the price. Last time hubby and I ate here the service was good. This time I think the waitress may have been having a tough day... But she wasn't rude. I got the smaller portion chicken with apples and quinoa and the portion was just right. After eating about 1/3 of the sampler appetizer and this chicken meal I actually was pretty full. It's a light dish and wouldn't recommend it for someone with a hearty appetite. The apples and celery were a nice pair and the rice-quinoa serving nestled underneath the 2-4 oz chicken breast had dried cranberries, such a yummy combination of flavors! I'll definitely be getting this again!

Conveniently located within Gilroy Premium Outlet so it was an easy decision to fill up our stomach after our shopping.

Had a great early dinner with my wife. Alejandro was our server and he did an excellent job (made sure everything was prepared properly and kept our drinks topped off). I had the strawberry balsamic grilled chicken salad and it was excellent. My only complaint was the cost of the wine. I was not aware of the price until I got the bill. I did not see any prices on the menu. Other than that, I had a great dinner.

Food was typical for Applebee's. Shoved our party of 10 in a tiny corner booth. Our waitress was brand new and tried hard but struggled to manage such a big order. Overall, just ok.

The bartender was assigned to our section of tables. It was a disaster as far as service was concerned. He was worried about the bar and our tables were only when he could get to them. The result was being left unattended and waiting long periods before he would address our issues. I want to blame the bartender but it's really a management issue. The food was good but we were left thirsty most of our time there. We ordered the chicken wings all you can eat. We were left placing our first order then waited 20 minutes to place the next order. Then wait yet again another 20 minutes to place another order. Not a good situation when your on lunch and have only a given amount of time. Just very sad that the management can not see the error they leave the wait staff in. There going to fail no matter what they do.

Chicken strip were glazed with chunks of bacon to add to this...I can not say this enough...the Two flavors were never meant to be put together. Really disappointed!

Stopped by from traveling through town for lunch. Waitress named Gianna took out order and was very unpleasant and condescending when we asked questions about the menu items. She saw we were struggling with the items and failed to explain saying "it's just the way it says on menu". She was also annoyed when we ordered our meat a certain way and when asked for a piece of lemon she said nothing and sent someone else to bring it 5 minutes later. We never saw Gianna again, she never came back to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything else. Chloe came and brought the lemon and our bill. Great meal was marred by disgraceful service. When I asked another employee for Gianna's name, since she wore no name tag and Chloe's name was on our bill, the employee said "you mean Gianna" and had an expression on her face and tone of voice of knowing prior bad service complaints was common. Hope Gianna receives a customer service refresher course for the sake of leaving other customers with a "bad taste in their mouth"

Decent food. Update 4.29.23: My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite during a recent shopping trip. What I like about Applebee's is the routinely updated menu. There are usually new additions to the menu as well as the old favorites. And while we don't dine at Applebee's very often, it is a nice change of pace. During this visit, the wait staff seemed a bit preoccupied even though it wasn't really busy. The food was prepared correctly, came quickly, and was hot and fresh. I enjoyed my visit and had some good food and relaxed. Update 2/5/22: Went to get lunch at this Applebee's after a morning of shopping. This Applebee's is always clean and the employees treat their customers well. We started off with the Brew Pub Prezels and Beer Cheese Dip. These were good though a bit over-salted. My main lunch item was the Classic Cheeseburger with Fries while my wife had the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. Both of our meals were cooked well and tasty.

Service is pretty nice at this location except its understaffed so wait times were longer than usual. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with pets allowed outside. I ordered the steak medium rare, but received it well done. The mash potatoes and broccoli fated pretty well. The shrimps and fries were better! The boneless wings and celery make the 2 for $ ____ still makes a good case for itself after all these years! The waiters are also nice to let you tune into any DIRECTV channel if you ask, otherwise they just have espn running 24/7 until closing. Its also pretty cool when its warriors game night because it can get rowdy fast!!

I am so sorry to have to write this review and leave so few stars. My experiences at Applebee's prior to my most recent visit were amazing, but this particular visit left so much to be desired. One of my dearest friends happened to visit me on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024, and I wanted to treat her to a nice lunch at the restaurant. We arrived well after the lunch rush and were immediately seated. Our server took our drink orders, and when she returned with our beverages she rushed us through our meal orders. My friend ordered the Double Crunch Shrimp with Cole Slaw and Fries, and I ordered the French Onion soup. Her meal was fine, with the exception of very little food on her plate. My soup was not soup. It was glop in a bowl, and completely unpalatable. Our server only visited our table once, and never offered to refill our beverages. Before we were even finished she handed me the bill to pay, which I did immediately because I simply wanted to leave the bad experience.

We’ve gone a few times and more often than not the service is not good. It takes about 15 mins to get someone to acknowledge you and then even longer for someone to take an order. Once in awhile the service is great but last time we ended up just leaving as no one even came by for a drink order. Its very likely we won’t be back to this location again.

It was a frustrating experience. I have never had to talk to a manger. He did try fix things. The server was very rude never came and check on us. Dinner took over 40 min for two children meals and wings. When the children meals came mine came 20 minutes later and it was wrong. No one said your will be here soon etc. I am gluten free and this was not gf. The kids never got their drinks. The server was very different with the table next to us but they order alcohol.

My food was good, but my parents’ meals had two little hairs in them. I’m not sure what was going on that day, but all the drinks, tea, water and soda tasted really salty and gross. It might’ve been the ice or the cups, but everything just tasted off. The servers seemed a bit lost, and the group of guys in the front didn’t seem to know what they were doing either. I don't think I will be coming back again.....

Used to love Applebee's but this has really gone downhill. I'm not sure if its just this location but its unfortunate that you can't get a good priced, tasty meal anymore. Good riddance. The atmosphere was typical Applebee's with TVs to watch sports, the noise level was low so we could easily hold a conversation. We attempted to order a sampler but they ran out of mozzarella sticks. We ordered the avocado egg rolls (twice) and they kept putting cilantro on them. I HATE cilantro I have that annoying gene so its pretty I unfortunate when the kitchen can't even get that right. The coleslaw had cilantro in it and that was disgusting. I have never had coleslaw with cilantro 🤢. The chicken tenders platter was easily the size of the plate meal. (The platter is supposed to be a bigger portion than the "plate.") The tenders looked like chicken breast that had been cut in stripes and was super dry. The kids pizza looked more appetizing. Overall not a great meal experience.

Also ordered food and it actually had some items missing. So I would say in service wise it's just not very attentive. Even with low expectations, the food still underwhelmed. My burger was soggy and just barely passable. Service was also terrible. It felt like we were afterthoughts. We were never offered a refill for our drinks and had to ask politely to 3 different servers before we got a refill (the 3rd server was super nice!).

Terrible Experience - Will Not Be Returning We had an awful experience at Applebee’s in Gilroy, CA. We came with a baby and were given a kids’ drawing page—but no crayons, which seemed like a basic oversight. Worse, the waiter didn’t bother to check if we received what we asked for until the very end of the meal. When we raised our concerns, the manager came over, but he wasn’t particularly apologetic. Instead, he asked if it was “okay” to remove one dish from the bill. What did he think we would say—that it’s not okay? At that point, we just wanted to get the bill and leave as quickly as possible. The lack of care, attention, and genuine customer service was shocking. I highly do not recommend this restaurant, and we will never be coming back.

I tried to enjoy it regardless. I had them take it off the ticket. I couldn’t do it. It’s an epic fail in my opinion. The service was terrible as well. Completely disappointed.

Just left the resturant and had the worst experience we have ever experience in a resturant. After our drinks failed to show up after 10 minutes of waiting, we found out we had a new server. Wow! Thanks for letting us know. So the drinks I ordered from the first server never made it to the bar? How’s that for service. It would have been nice if someone would have told us that we have a new server. As for the beers we ordered, I had to get two of them myself from the bar as our new server was not to be found. No one ever returned to the table to ask how we were doing, if we need more drinks, or to even to collect our plates. I’m fact, our new server never even interdict myself but he was quick with the bill. My chicken breast was cold as was the mash potatoes scooped from an ice cream scooper, how classy is that? The manager was not impressed with our compliant as this must be a nightly occurrence for him. Our tab was $134.00 and no tip was left so I hope you got the message. Never going back to this or any other Applebees again!

The food is gross. I ordered a pasta dish and my boyfriend got some kind of chicken dish. Both dishes tasted like they were frozen meals that were heated but I have had better microwave frozen meals so I am not sure if that really describes it. I felt nauseous after a few bites of my food also. I like to eat and rarely (if ever) leave most of my food on the plate but here I did. The quality of food is also so not worth the price! However, the service was prompt, friendly, and knowledge. The server was a delight.

Ordered 3 items and only 1 was edible..Riblets and fries is probably the most dangerous item on the menu..This restaurant served short ribs instead of Riblets..Boneless wings were stale and cold..Pretzelz had unidentified objects on them..Margarita was good and the beer was cold

I've been to Applebee's and a few times at multiple different locations. This was not a good experience we had a group of 11 and our waitress probably came twice to check on our needs. Refills came at the end of the meal with our to-go boxes. We asked for napkins and we got two mind you we had five toddlers at the table.

In the middle of a pandemic and this place was filthy. The salad was terrible and the bathroom and floors were sticky, and the carpets had napkins and debris all over. The only reason we stayed was we didn't know the area and Applebee’s was a place we knew.

The WORST RESTAURANT service I have had in a few years. One a waitess sweeping food but not taking it up, we watched people be seated after us be served and receive their food finish and we had only gotten our drinks and never so much as a refill on it. Thirty five minutes or more waiting then a waiter comes over to find out if someone that served HIS table, no he then stated the food would be right out. We decided to go for better FOOD and service at another restaurant in Morgan Hill. Higher price OH but but such GREAT food and perfect service left a $20. tip that could have been his. Try Willard House downtown Morgan Hill.

Bad customer service! Dirty silverware dirty cups! Let the manager know and he showed no interest in fixing the issue besides removing our plates from the table and no one ever came back to see if we needed anything or to ask is everything was good. Do not recommend this restaurant!!

Hello! This place was incredibly awful. First off me and my family of 5 came to this restaurant. We sat down and ordered drinks. The drinks were very watered down but we ignored it and continued to order our food. Our food took about 40 minutes to come out. I got a steak and I ordered it well done. The stake came out very red and bloody. Then I asked our server to take it back and make it well done and brought it back in about 30 minutes. That was very upsetting. While eating we saw our server pick her butt and hold dishes that belonged to another table. That is very unprofessional and very disgusting. She also was very slow with no personality. Please make sure your restaurant is very professional and this should be monitered.

Took them 30 mins to remember to bring two house salads and one wonton taco order. Which they forgot and we just cancelled the house salads. We got our food and it was cold like it was left on the counter for like 15 mins. Didn’t even eat my food .Paid and left. What made it worse was the family behind us that sat 10 minutes after us got there salads and food was “piping hot “ . Definitely not wasting my money on them again 🤙🏾

20 minute wait time became 45 minutes. Slowest service ever. Margaritas weren't served with sugar on rim as advertised. When I complained to manager after my glass was heated for sugar to be melted on rim, as well as ice in glass for another 10 minute wait, and appetizers came with half dipping sauce, manager apologized for staff not getting more product from him and instead telling me they ran out. Was still charged full price for everything and meal took almost 2 hours. Never going there again.

The food was extremely unappetizing—greasy and unpleasant. I would not recommend dining at this Applebee’s.

My food was so horrible it was cold it THEY didn't get the order right the manager decks brought it out didn't even know which hamburger was WHAT brought the wrong food out i asked for no broccoli and what did I get broccoli when I asked what hamburger was supposed to be one without pickles couldn't even tell me which one was what I KEPT ASKING why are you going to put it down when you don't even know what food is wHAT it's not correct my boneless appetizer was cold had to send it back two times and it still came back COLD I was so upset that didn't even bother to eat the food then they wanted to give me a discount I said on what the food that I didn't eat right when I got the food I told the waitress that I didn't like the hamburger didn't even offer to return it or nothing I asked for ranch never brought it kept complaining about her job I left it there I was so upset I'm still very upset the manager Decks couldn't even come out to talk to me about my food he tried to help the waitress he's the one that couldn't tell me the difference of any of the food he sucked hamburgers are my favorite thing to eat I didn't want to touch it I was so upset he couldn't even tell me the difference like I said very not knowledgeable at all I should of got up and left. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WASTE TOLD THE SERVED RAW CHICKEN TO A CUSTOMER TODAY AND THAT THE COOKS AND MANAGERS ARE VERY BAD AND I BELIEVE HER WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT WHERE THEY'RE GIVING YOU RAW CHICKEN THE COOKS NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER AND THE MANAGERS NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER.

Food and drinks are Good but the service sucks just sit at the bar because that's the only way to get anything from this place. The Host and waiters watch you walk in and carryon with their conversation I've walked out of this place more than once. I usually go to San Jose or Watsonville Just for Applebee's they are much nicer and better service no matter where you sit.

I’m hear at the restaurant today. I ordered pork ribs with fries. but I was disappointed. because my plate was hot but my food was not fresh and hot. It was obvious that they just heated the food they served to me in the microwave. We pay good pls do the right way how to serve the food!!!!!

Around two weeks ago, my husband and I visited the Applebee’s location near the Gilroy outlets. That day, Hong Kong-style Applebee’s BBQ suddenly came to mind, and I decided to order the BBQ ribs expecting something familiar and comforting. What was served was the opposite. The meat was so hard and rubbery that I genuinely feared my tooth might crack or break while chewing. This was not a matter of taste—it was physically difficult to eat. I have never experienced ribs this tough before, and it was shocking that something like this was served to a customer. What disturbed me even more was how the food was handled. When food is carried properly, a server usually supports the plate from underneath or keeps their fingers folded away so they do not touch the food. In this case, that did not happen. The server’s finger was inside the plate, pressed directly into the BBQ sauce beneath the food. This was not an accidental brush on the rim—it was a finger placed into the dish itself. Seeing someone’s finger dipped into the sauce on my plate was deeply uncomfortable and unacceptable. This is a basic hygiene issue, not a personal preference. When I asked for a to-go box, the handling was equally confusing. Despite there being a large amount of food left, a very small plastic container was brought first, followed later by additional containers. The entire interaction felt careless and unprofessional. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and unsettled. Serving extremely hard food and handling a customer’s meal this way should never happen. I will not be returning, and I sincerely hope management takes food quality and hygiene standards seriously.

I went in for a birthday only to leave before eating because the waitress that "greeted" (if that's what you want to call it) my wife and I with my service dog made me feel uncomfortable and awkward with eye rolling and shaking of her head while not even escorting us to our table and just walking back to the bar shaking her head like we inconvenienced her. I may not look like I have a disability or need a service dog but that doesn't make it right to be judged for bringing him in to your restaurant. Cause that's how she made it feel. Thanks to the waitress for ruining what would have been a good night

Had dinner ordered grilled chicken breast and the chicken was still raw inside. Service sucked server forgot half of our order. I do not recommend this place at all

DON’T GO HERE. Please save your money and go somewhere better. We ordered a grilled cheese with tomato soup and a quesadilla salad and it was absolutely insanely bad. The salad came out first with the grilled cheese, no soup. Both the grilled cheese and the quesadilla that came with the salad were uncooked. The cheese in both was cold. We went back both of those and while we waited the tomato soup came out. The soup got cold as we waited for the sandwich and the quesadilla to come back out. When they did come back out the grilled cheese was burnt and the bread was stale and crouton texture. The quesadilla was STILL uncooked. We finally just cut our losses and went home without any food. All we had comped was the grilled cheese. Our bill was still over $50.00!?!? This experience was not worth it.
