The food was great, service was too, they serve breakfast until 2! (At least on Saturday when we visited). Blue cheese burger was what I had, with fries. Good sized burger, plenty of fries.

We had a reservation Friday night, and it did not disappoint. The service here goes above and beyond, we had a little two top, but despite ordering multiple items we always had space because the bussers consistently walked by to collect items no longer in use. We had two different servers because of a change and both servers Kim and James were phenomenal and so personal ♡ That doesn't even talk about the quality of the food. My only complaint is that we live 2 hours away so if we want to eat here again (which we will) we are going to have to plan another date night here. The clam chowder was thr best I've ever had, anywhere, and the Salmon Lettuce Wraps were perfect! My fiancé loved the Sea Scallops, and their steak and avocado and crab melt sandwiches were fire! I have nothing but good things to say, and look forward to this experience in the future. If we lived in Gilroy we would go here at least once a month. If you've never been, run don't walk. It it well worth any wait, and ticket price.

Everything about our dining experience was amazing. From the wait staff (Richie Rich!) to the food. Every single thing we tried was excellent except the steamed veggies. Try the filet mignon or the scallops. The wedge salad was perfect and the appetizers were amazing. Highly recommend the apple pie for dessert.

Ambience was amazing. We requested the patio because we had our 4 legged boy with us my cutie patootie jack russell. The food here was good even though they are pricey. I would definitely come back.

Westside Grill is a great restaurant in Gilroy. Their menu is considerable offering tasty appetizers, entrees, pasta, burgers & sandwiches, farm fresh salads, and daily specials! They have a large, festive bar area where you can dine. It’s an awesome full bar with specialty cocktails and draft beers. The service is quick and on point! Westside Grill is great for couples, families, and even has room to host larger groups.

This is located near the Gilroy downtown. We went for dinner on the weekend and had to wait for 15mins for a table. The food was okay. The service and the atmosphere was good. They have a good amount of parking. The restrooms were clean. They have a variety of cocktail options.

The tempura green beans alone are a reason to eat here. It’s a huge plate-enough for several people with perfectly crispy beans and a light coating. The steak tacos were completely delicious. However, my companions thought the lobster ravioli were overpowered by a highly seasoned sauce.

Went on New Year's Eve for the first time. Sat at the bar and the staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. Food was pretty good atmosphere was friendly and busy. Restaurant seemed clean and dessert which was carrot cake was delicious. We were very happy with the food and service it is a nice casual to upscale dining experience. It was a little pricey so we won't go as often as preferred.

Writing a review for Westside Grill is difficult for me because I wish I could give it five stars. When I visited around 7 p.m., the food is usually good, but my overall experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I noticed that the usually bustling bar area was unusually empty, making it easy to find a seat. I ordered the Green Bean Tempura, a dish I had enjoyed on a visit two months prior. Unfortunately, this time, the quality did not meet my expectations. The dish not only tasted different but also lacked the appearance it had during my previous visit. The server was polite and offered to remove the item from my bill, but I declined. He then suggested having the beans breaded more, which I agreed to. When he returned, however, the dish had not been breaded further; instead, he mentioned that the chef had simply fried them more. I expressed that during my last visit, the Green Bean Tempura had more breading and resembled authentic tempura. The server responded dismissively, insisting that the dish had always been prepared this way and that, having worked in a Japanese restaurant, he knew what tempura should look like. This comment felt unnecessary and left me feeling frustrated. Sadly, this experience has made me hesitant to return to Westside Grill anytime soon. The first picture shows the Green Bean Tempura I received, which had little to no actual tempura coating. The second picture illustrates what proper Green Bean Tempura should look like. Given this experience, I now understand why the bar was less busy during my visit.

I am on vacation, saved for over a year to come to Gilroy with my family. Decided to eat here because of the reviews. Our waitress did not seem thrilled to help us. It was me and my two kids. I don't drink. We ordered shirly temples. My kids and I were starving from being out all day. I just wanted a nice meal. She only checked on us one time in an hour when we were there. Did not get us Togo boxes. Maybe I looked like I was not a big tipper, and you wanted us in and out as soon as possible. I tip big on good service, your service was not it at all. And I still tipped you 25 percent. Don't judge by looks, I am on vacation. I'm trying to spend time with my kids that I don't get quality time with thru out the year. The food was not that good either. I ate at chilies the other day and had a better steak there.
