There were 28 of us for a family gathering, no set menu. It was a great choice; we've been going for family meals for several years now and the service is always excellent. Even with so many people, the food was very quick and delicious. We have four family members with dietary restrictions (celiac disease and lactose intolerance) and they are very accommodating. We'll definitely be back for our next get-together.
It's always a pleasure to come here often. Besides, my wife is celiac and can enjoy the entire menu—there's a lot of variety and everything is delicious. The service is very friendly and fast, very professional. Without a doubt, one of my favorite restaurants.

Lovely food (don’t miss the wonderful solomillo variations), friendly service and a good atmosphere (couples, family groups of all ages). Overall a great little restaurant away from the tourist trap centre of Seville.

Amazing! Never dissapoints me! Good quality and price.
We ate there at Christmas. There were a lot of us. The service was very good. We liked the dining room because of its windows. The food was good value for money. The only drawback, being from Seville, was the "sirloin steak with whiskey sauce," which was grilled sirloin steaks with a thick sauce on top. We didn't eat it; that wasn't sirloin steak with whiskey sauce. Nevertheless, we'll return, although we won't order that dish.
A wide variety of tapas and larger portions. Very fast and friendly service. They have a spacious dining room and accept reservations. Prices are reasonable. I recommend the meats cooked on a hot stone and the cheesecake; however, I wouldn't order the flamequín again (it was breaded ham and cheese). There's ample parking next to the restaurant. Recommended. I'll be back.
A cozy, family-run place with a long history. The service was very attentive and friendly. We ate with just four half-portions of beer for two people, a tapa of zucchini milonga with goat cheese, and drinks included. Dishes to highlight: - The fried calamari was delicious. Very tender and easily fell apart. - The zucchini milonga with goat cheese was good. - The patatas bravas were good, as was the sea bream with prawn cream. What I liked least was the tropical salad with prawns and salmon. Very expensive for very limited ingredients. It seemed more like a supermarket bagged salad. Total price: €43.90. What do you think? Everything else was good. I recommend it. It has its own free parking for customers.
Restaurant with a good location and pleasant both inside and out, both on the terrace. Excellent quality/price ratio. A very varied menu with many options for tapas, half portions, and full portions, a good wine list, and very reasonably priced. We ordered avocado bread and salmon (our least favorite, as the portion was very small), flamenquín (breaded and fried pork roll), stuffed eggs, cod with piquillo pepper sauce, hake in sauce, and zucchini with gratinéed goat cheese—all delicious. The service was quick and efficient. I recommend it 👌
Worth the effort to get there. Excellent meats, tapas and deserts. Chocolate bomb was to die for.
Fuimos en recomendacion y la verdad…nada sorprendente. La calidad muy común. Nos pedimos brocheta eso si, una presentacion buena pero parecia que te estabas comiendo un pinchito de pollo por el sabor pero a lo grande. Un aliño de papas con melva…nada sorprendente y unas berenjenas fritas con miel para mi parecer algo aceitosas ( para gustos colores) luego nos pedimos milhoja de nata la cual estaba esponjada y una tarta de tres chocolates. Precio…en otros sitios he comido mucho mejor por ese precio. El servicio…dos camareros y habia que estar repitiendo las cosas varias veces para poder tenerlas.
I ate today, and well, I expected more. It's true that the price wasn't high; I paid €17 in total, but... The patatas bravas were incredibly bland, the brava sauce was very weak and accompanied by mayonnaise. Of all the dishes, that's what I liked least. Then I ordered pork cheek bao buns, which were quite good, and sirloin millefeuille, which was quite oily (I think from the melted cheese) and had a rather strong flavor for my taste, although this was subjective. In short, it's not the best meal at Gines, but it's not the worst either. I'll try other options, but it wouldn't be a problem if I go back another time.
We were there on December 25th. Perhaps it was a bad day to go and give a proper opinion. It was completely full and a bit overwhelmed. Regardless, the food was just okay. I don't know if it was because of the day. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The place is very spacious and nice.
The place is nice and cozy, but in my opinion, the food is just average and quite expensive. We tried the braised pork cheeks and the oxtail, which I don't recommend. The flavor is weak and the sauce isn't good; there are better options in the province. The Iberian pork shoulder cooked on a hot stone is very good, but the portion is very small for the price. What I definitely don't recommend is the sirloin steak with whiskey sauce. For a typical Sevillian dish, the sauce was quite bad. On a very important note, the waiters provide exceptional service and were very helpful.
Hemos cenado por recomendación de unos amigos y la verdad no me ha gustado, tapas ridículas ( ejemplo, rulo de queso de cabra, 3 pequeños trozos de pan para 3 pequeños trocitos de rulo con un trocito de nuez encima) la verdad es la primera vez que veo una tapa de rulo tan ridícula. La ensaladilla ( super fría y muy muy pequeña) tema de comida quitando la brocheta todo lo demás era ridículo para precio que tiene. Tema postres igual, me pido miloja y me traen un trozo de 2 centímetros de miloja, el camarero hasta se quedó extrañado por qué cuando vimos el trozo tuvimos todos que reírnos.
La verdad no es por criticar pero nada del otro mundo, normalito tirando a baja calidad, tapa de choco pequeña pero para mi más bien poton porque en cada trocito tenias el plástico, tapa de ensaladilla de gambas que a poco sabe, el mil hojas de calabacín poquito, media de jamón muy reducida, los gambones poco hechos complicados de pelar y con mucha sal por encima, el flamenquin mucha pasta de queso y el rebozado muy aceitoso, total que me lo han recomendado pero la experiencia no ha sido buena!!! 😔😔
They seem to care less and less about the food they serve, and it's a shame because out of the three hot tapas we ordered, two of them, which included potatoes, were ice cold. It takes so little time to fry potatoes, it's a disgrace that they ruin the tapas like that. Seeing how the food was turning out, we decided to stop ordering and leave.
Lentísimo.... Cuando te sientan, te ponen aceitunas. Las tapas frías salen inmediatamente, pero las tapas calientes tardan más de una hora. Los camareros son secos y escuché algún comentario desagradable de uno de ellos después de servir a un cliente refiriéndose a dicho cliente. Las tapas están buenas y están bien de tamaño. La rosada está recalentada, no es fresca. Los precios son normales. A unos clientes les ofrecen un chupito de orujo al terminar y a otros no, lo cual es un detalle de la casa, si lo hiciera con todos, pero si es selectivo, es una falta de respeto hacia los clientes. Probablemente no vuelva. Pero para quienes deseen ir recuerden reservar antes, porque si no tienes reserva tienes que esperar.
Algo ha cambiado en el lugar , choco que no es choco, es tira de pota la cual echamos para atrás . La que parece ser la encargada no tiene tacto en decirle las cosas a la chica que está enseñando. Al lugar le falta limpieza , espero que lo mejoren porque es una pena.
Almorcé al mediodía con mi niño, y vimos que justo en frente iban a pasar unas carrozas de carnaval, así que aprovechamos para verlas, cuando volvimos por el coche nos dijeron que teníamos que esperar hasta las 20h. para sacar el coche, la puerta estaba abierta pero pusieron un coche delante para que nadie pudiese salir. Solo por eso me parece lamentable que me hayan hecho esperar una hora en un coche con un niño de 6 años al que no he podido ni dar la merienda por no poder salir. Lamentable e inhumano. No volveré.
I've been a long-time customer. I had a bad experience. There were three of us, and only two of us ate because my food arrived late and cold. I swore I wouldn't go back because the manager and staff are terrible. Today I returned, only two people, the first to arrive. My food arrived, but my companion's didn't. I complained, and they gave me dirty looks. They just flat-out bullied me. I angrily asked for the bill, and on top of that, they overcharged me. You definitely won't see me at Aljarafe Tapas again. Disgraceful.
