Colleagues recommended me to come here on my first day in Glasgow and it did not disappoint! Atmosphere was very nice, although the area where we sat was a bit cold but still very nice. Food was delicious and their cocktails were super good! The service was okay, at some point we had to chase after someone to get a couple of napkins.
Came for a hen party for our F1 mad bride to be. I contacted the venue ahead of time to ask if they could put the F1 on for us and they couldn’t be more friendly in the correspondence. When we arrived, we were placed in front of the biggest screens to maximise our viewing and they let us put some small decor up. Our server offered to take group photos and we were never without a drink. Defo recommend the boozy slushies. Food was yummy although large portions! We felt well looked after from initial contacting to leaving and would defo be back. Highly recommend for sporty stag/hen parties.
Brilliant loved it best bar and restaurant I've been in in Glasgow for along time
Very tasty filling meal with very attentive and polite staff. Nice atmosphere for drinking after our meal where we spent the rest of the night with no pressure from staff to leave. Had the 400gram brisket, mac & cheese with pulled pork topper with side order of Cluck fries and onion rings. I would definitely recommend to anybody searching for BBQ flavoured food!
Amazing food, nice atmosphere and attentive staff. We had the meat tray with extra brisket. It was beautiful and very filling. We'll be back.
Great bar! The food was great and there was a fun trivia night.
Love the atmosphere and food in the Raven, and their new casual darts area is great fun! Great for a night out with friends in Glasgow. The bar is well stocked and the tunes are always good
Fantastic little Scottish Pub in City Center. Staff was awesome. Love the atmosphere
Visited on a Sunday evening. It was very nice and quiet. Not too loud, good enough to hear the music and to stay engaged in conversation. The beer selection excellent lots of IPAs and old school ales. The English ale with German colours were interesting...but great. I can definitely recommend a visit and a pint or two of these. Second and third visit sill very good place. They have a different selection of beer every time. A must recommend.
Amazing staff especially and the best kind of service you can expect for. The taste of the food was amazing. There is not even a single word to comment negative about the place.
A lovely place to come with a dog - ours got plenty of attention. The food wasn’t amazing but pretty standard pub plates. Tidy, clean and reasonably priced.
Superb food and staff .. great food came out quickly.. TV's there with the sport on lol brilliant.. we came through from Stirling had food here b4 and came back and would come back again also would recommend this place and we have 2 people looking 4 somewhere to go thanku raven 👍👌cammy and dot Wylie 🤗🍺🍺
Cool bar with great food, tvs for sports, pool table and dart boards with interactive games.
Great lunch and afternoon bringing to a close my daughter’s Hen Weekend. Thank you to the staff who were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit or two!
We popped into this bar before we went for lunch. Very nice cocktail and selection of drinks.
Quality reliable place in town for watching sports without any issues with rowdy fans. Food is really good quality bbq/burgers etc.
Great bar. Met some SUPER people. Pool, darts, friendly folks and excellent staff. Didn't eat, but the atmosphere was warm and comfortable.
Ordered the Swiss Alpine burger, onion rings and side of brisket. Wasn’t disappointed, very friendly and attentive service. The house lager is quite good too.
Delicious food, great service, short wait for the food despite the afternoon rush. The pork ribs was the highlight of our lunch.
Had a lovely pre theatre meal here on 5th Oct. I'm glad I booked as it is known for being busy especially at weekends... My husband had the firecracker beef burger with haggis and chillies and I had the classic chicken breast burger. We both had a soft drink so total came to £24.70p which is reasonable in the city centre. Service was good and quick. No problems + with a pleasant smile. Not first time here and not the last. 😊
Amazing place, food is awesome, staff very friendly. I had the sandwich don't let that fool you, I couldn't eat anything until the next day! AWESOME! Will definitely be going back!
The Raven is a brilliant bar, the darts are excellent and the food is delicious! Staff are very helpful and friendly.
I had the wings and onion rings. They were delicious. My granddaughter had a burger and fries.
Incredible service. I needed to have an online meeting and the barman organised a room and turned off the music, which was so helpful.
Everything we had was delicious. This is a great spot for slow-cooked meats, delicious sides, and an awesome beer selection. The serving staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well-served, and that our toddler was happy. I look forward to a return to The Raven, the next time I’m in Glasgow.
My favourite pub in Glasgow. Amazing burgers. Their specialy 6 nations burger was exceptional.
Always happy with the raven, loved the food (get burgers or the platter of meats) and the service is lovely. We booked upstairs for a function and had a great time.
Excellent proper pub. Plenty of staff on so not much waiting time. Good beer. Fun place to be
Excellent night in The Raven, the staff were very helpful and knowledgable about all the local products on offer! We had a bunch of bar bites too which wilder amazing! Will definitely be back!!
Good selection of beers, including cask ale, not too pricey for city centre, loads of screens for sports.
Popped in for a bite and a pint and was impressed. The bar staff and chef were some of the friendliest and most thoughtful I’ve encountered—welcoming, attentive, and incredibly accommodating of gluten-free needs (they have gluten-free buns!). The atmosphere was inviting with great vibes all around.
Great place for a lads day out. Staff were very helpful and the food was great. Tv screens everywhere to watch sport and the electronic darts was great to play
Great service, great choice of drinks and food at really good prices. Good selection of of live sports included. Spent a very comfortable few hours with friends watching the rugby over a nice selection of food and drink
just popped in for a beer, had a Weekend Project, Arctic Fox, Baked Alaska Stout. Excellent beer. highlighted by staff after I said I like a porter. Large choice of beer, straight to a new favourite thanks to staff. did not have any food. 👍
Popped in for dinner as was wanting somewhere to watch one of the euro games and noticed it was showing the had a deal burger and pint for £15 food was good but they only had one type of pint that came with it and I wasn't keen on it myself. But everybody's taste is different. Was fairly quiet so got peace to watch the game. Overall happy.
Nice atmosphere, normally come here to play darts They have a promotion during the week darts £15 for 90 mins play. Had some food, portion are big, but wouldn't say it's great. Had lunch menu deal chicken wings are not cut up, so you get whole wing which is good value for money, although I prefer cut up ones. nachos, curry hot dog which didn't taste good to me, but my partner liked it. And a burger which was okay. Overall, wouldn't come here for food, but not a bad place for hanging out
Good food, nice atmosphere and a good selection of beer. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and buffalo fries. Really good, and also spicy. Worth a visit. The food has changed a lot since the last time I was there. It seems to have gone away from the smoked meats a little, which is a shame because I liked that. But the food is still really good.
A good craft beer pub in a busy location in the city centre of Glasgow. An interesting selection of beers presented well. The staff worked hard without a doubt but seemed more interested in socialising with themselves rather than engaging with the customers. The decor was passable. Food, not so good. I had mac and cheese and it looked very sad and demented - not what I would call good pub grub. The fish and chips lacked inspiration, and the burger was passable. Good but not great.
Open and spacious city centre bar that's seat up perfectly for watching sports (football on this occasion). Range of beers included a selection of Cold Town, Cromarty and Beavertown, as well as your usuals. Nice atmosphere and staff were efficient and friendly. Open kitchen adds a bit of drama, although we didn't eat on this occasion.
Always good for a beer and burger, the food is decent (not the best BBQ I've had) but it's reliable and tasty enough. They have rolling beer selection and do pretty well on that front too. Service was prompt and friendly. There is an upstairs too and you can book for events.
Came here with a group of 13 for a drink before heading onto an event. Service was good and quick, although there was a little confusion on the drink order. Ordered some sharing plates for the table - haggis Bon Bon’s were great, nachos not so great, sliders decent. Not much atmosphere, but it was early on a Saturday afternoon
Good food excellent service and a friendly atmosphere Good for watching sports would recommend
Very expensive beer. Good range, though. Staff were engaging. Enjoyed the darts. Toilet door broken. Reasonable atmosphere for a Friday night. Previously visited where the food was good. TV's are throughout the premises showing sporting events.
The Raven is a fun sports bar that has lots of TVs to watch sports and does amazing burgers, but I found that there was a problem with the house Cold Town beers, after trying both the IPA and the lager but both were flat, the bartender tried to check on the line but the problem was still there. The smokehouse burger on the other hand was lovely and packed with flavour, but the buns did disintegrate as soon as you tried to pick it up.
The Raven seems like a place you could have a good time. Sports on TV, dart boards and plenty of beer options, including hand pulled real ales and craft beers. When I visited it was mid afternoon and mostly empty. Beer choices were good but more expensive than the last pub I was in (the pot still). Bottom line, it's a big pub, live sports, dart boards and a lot of beers. However, if you're wanting value for money beer there are other options
I have actually already reviewed the raven 5 years ago and rated five stars! (See attached). I had to come back to edit my review after tonight. The place still smells amazing and has a relatively diverse selection of beers, which is a plus! But it felt unattended by the team - there were multiple tables empty of people but full of empty plates, and we ordered food through the app (which is fine) but when it was dropped off it was as if the guy couldn’t get away from the table fast enough. The food itself was sad in comparison to what I’ve experienced before (nachos attached!). As said, I used to really rate this place, but myself and my pal were so disappointed with what we were met with tonight- I really hope tonight was just an off night!!
Table booked for rugby yesterday. Drinks ok but a few mistakes. Granted it was very busy. I was really disappointed with the food. Brisket burned end were like giant squares of defrosted tasteless beef and the nachos had no cheese and pretty tasteless. Chips undercooked still raw in the middle.
Server the young guy with the moustache was miserable clearly he has a lot going on personally but the way he treated me and my friends was appalling no way to treat customers, won’t be back. Ruined my experience and my friends from Canada too. Train your staff better or look into their background.
Chicken burgers were soggy and tasted bad, pulled pork was dry. Not one of the places to visit in Glasgow.
Burnt crispy pulled pork on burgers, 30 mins after eating could still taste burnt cheap burgers also. Under cooked chips as! my side, partners loaded fries with blue cheese & buffalo chicken also had under cooked chips with a crispy chicken strip cut up for buffalo chicken & was given no blue cheese. Got tray of nachos just tasted of sour cream & was really cold. Really disappointed spent £36 on this McDonald's would have been better option.
