Chickie's & Pete's - Glassboro

I had crab fries and a chicken cutlet sandwich with honey mustard. The seeded roll was delicious, the chicken cutlet was perfectly breaded and the crab fries were so good I got a second order.

Everything was fantastic from the food to the service we received. It was our celebration after my daughters rehearsal dinner for her wedding Saturday. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much !

Great food and atmosphere. Been going to Chickie and Pete's for almost 20 years. I am glad they opened a location near me. Now i can enjoy outside of Philadelphia.

Order lots of items and were really great. Fries are very cheesy.

I haven't eaten here in years due to being 8hrs away. The pizza tasted just as I remembered it, perfect. The service was very prompt and friendly. Parking is extremely reasonably priced out front.

Chickie's and Pete's Glassboro offers delicious food, which is consistently prepared every time we order. The front of the house staff is always pleasant and our interactions with one of the managers, Nick, has been extremely customer-focused. We predominantly order take-out, but the restaurant is a great place to watch a game or enjoy time with others.

Anthony was a really nice server and really attentive. We came for trivia and the food deals are great. It’s my favorite early week activity and I can’t wait to keep coming back for it next semester.

C & P's was very accommodating with our grands. The staff is kind and friendly. The prices were more than average. Otherwise, it was a great time.

I recently visited Chickie’s and Pete’s in Glassboro, NJ, and had an outstanding experience. I ordered chicken tenders and crab fries, which were absolutely delicious. What made the visit even more memorable was the exceptional service provided by the manager, Nick. He responded to my request promptly and handled the situation with utmost professionalism and courtesy. Nick's dedication to customer satisfaction truly enhanced my dining experience. I highly recommend this location for its great food and fantastic service!

I wanted to share that we ended up choosing Chickie’s & Pete’s in Glassboro, for our son’s 21st birthday and it was awesome. Everyone had a great time. From the manager we coordinated with to the food and the servers, everything was excellent—and very reasonably priced. We had 57 guests and went with crab fries, salad, roast pork, cheesesteaks, and pizza. We did an open bar on a separate bill, and all-in it came in under what we anticipated…including the extra gratuity we gave the servers. I’d definitely recommend them as an option if you’re planning something similar. 👍

It was my first time going to a Chickie and Pete’s and I must say that their new hire Rebecca was fantastic!!! We went with our friends and there were 4 adults and 6 kids. It was certainly no easy task. She was so thorough and attentive. Was on top of everything and had such an amazing attitude. One of the children fell off one of the high top chairs and knocked his whole pizza pie on to the floor. As luck would have it Rebecca was right there with fantastic reflexes and managed to catch the 6 year old before he hit the ground. On top of the service they also provided another pizza for the one that fell on the ground. We will always request her for as long as she is employed there. And on top of that the food was delicious and very well prepared for everyone. So thank you to the cooks of chickie and Pete’s. Thank you again

Samantha was an excellent server! We stayed for two wildcard weekend football games. She moved sections but still checked in on us frequently. Give her a raise!

This place is pretty good, but not blow my mind 5 star great. Service wasnt only prompt, but also very professional. The place is clean. Hostess and wait staff seem to operate and coordinate excellent. Fries were good, wings had excellent sauce, but could stand to be crispier (thats why only 4 stars). The meatball parm sandwich, cheesesteak, burger, ceaser salad and nachos were all good. Prices were average. No jukebox, pool table(s) or dart boards. Its really more of a restaraunt than a bar/hangout. Very nice bathrooms. Music was a lot of late 70s/80s pop...lots of Abba. I didnt mind the music...but if there were a jukebox, i likely wouldve played something else.

I prefer crab but the waiter said the meat would be cold so we opted for the lobster fries instead. Excellent decision on our part. Wings and lobster fries so yummy!

Cool atmosphere. Great beer selection. I recommend the new England clam chowder and their white pizza. Rowan University directly across the street. Beers are kinda pricey.

Cheesesteak could have been larger! Disappointed! Crabby fries were a very large portion and excellent!

Chickies is a hit or miss with their food service at times, but I had a particularly good experience at the restaurant a couple days back when I was visiting over for family. I'll like to give a shoutout to Micaiah, she was always on top of whatever service we asked for on our table.

Okay visit for a family of 7, ages 12-70. It had the comfortable sports bar atmosphere but with a conversation-friendly noise level and tables to adjust to large or small parties. Some meals were good (pork belly tacos, chicken tenders, and crab nachos) but other things were almost flavorless or just a bit flavor-off (Italian wedding soup, clam chowder, and fries). Service was pleasant but we routinely had empty glasses. They were kind enough to comp the chowder when we couldn't find anyone at the table to eat it. It was just one visit, so may give it another go, but there isn't a particular draw to come back.

$30 for a drink and a sandwich is a bit excessive compared to what you can get to similar chains. I asked for my burger rare, and well you can see what I got in the picture. Maybe I would come back if there was some discount or deal going on.

We ordered to-go and the first order of fries were cold and tasted stale plus for the price I expected a full container of fries (first pic). Took them back and the second pic was the replacement fries which were hot but now over seasoned. Unfortunately not the best experience. Also the hostesses response to my complaint was unapologetic.

Full disclosure, we don't like crab. BUT... They still had a decent menu. However, there is no kids menu. I got a chicken sandwich, but it was a wafer thin breaded piece. Not impressed. Atmosphere was typical loud restaurant with tvs.

Had the Lobster tail and Shrimp special, had to return because the shrimp had a very strong ammonia odor. Please check your seafood before consuming.

I was there for a special occasion. We don't go out often. The crab fries seemed extra salty, I know the secret ingredient is salt but it was too much. Highlights were great service and the salmon sandwich. I didn't like the smash burger. Too unhealthy. I asked to be seated so we could see the Phillies game, were seated against the wall with no view of the game. The place was not busy when we got there. Probably should have ordered wings or something. The sinks in the dining room are a good idea. Overall a big disappointment. So many other choices in Glassboro.

I come here often because i live nearby. This time my experience was not that good. The crab legs were served with really gritty almost cold butter. When i asked for new butter they said "this is all we have it's been sitting on the stove all day" Finally they brought out new butter 25 minutes after the crab legs came out so i was stuck eating cold crab legs.

I have been to multiple locations and this one has repeatedly over seasoned their wings and fries. Most of the Chickie's and Pete's are actually very good. But unfortunately for this meal I had to brush off the seasoning. You can look at the photos below and see how much seasoning that they actually put on.

I never really complain about food, and I've gone here plenty of times, but the burger I got was extremely under cooked. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the food I ordered tonight (fries and chicken tenders) were perfectly fine. Plus, once I recooked the burger, it was fine too. Just keep this in mind when ordering food from the glassboro Chickies and Pete's, it may be unsafe to eat.

This place looks pretty but the people who work there are terrible individuals. I just got out of heart surgery not too long ago so I'm not allowed to eat out much anymore. I wanted to try Chickie's and Pete's for the first time and ordered the shrimp tacos to go and they just put tortillas in a to go box and threw slop in it. The cooks who did it and the servers who saw it and did nothing deserve nothing this holiday season. I see why people tip poorly now. This new generation of employees are extremely lazy. I don't know what I did for this establishment to disrespect me like this. Please have a new year's resolution of hiring better employees. You know? Ones who actually care about customers? Do you people just clock in with a poor attitude and just say "who cares, it's not my food I didn't pay for it"? Cause that's what it seems. Thanks a lot for nothing. Great way to ring in the new year😊 a plate of slop. Awesome!

I ordered a sandwich to-go to try this place. The lettuce was covered in dirt and it got all over the bread. If they really don't even wash their lettuce it makes me wonder how dirty their kitchen is. Threw the sandwich away and will never be back.

Shrimp Tacos... supposed to be with pico de gallo and cilantro. Don't see any of those... I just saw a salsa that looks like the chi-chi's salsa Jar. So disappointed!!

Date of visit: 5/28/2025 6:01pm THE WORST meal I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. The Ultimate Cheese Fries were drowning in cheese sauce & aioli. Literally a skillet of cheese sauce with soggy, cold fries underneath. Next was our entrees. The Paddy Melt was saturated in grill prep. The smell was awful. I ordered 'medium-well' but got a very pink burger that was cold in the middle. I was only able to get down one bite between the smell & taste grill prep and the undercooked meat. The Classic Philly Cheesesteak was equally as terrible. First, the meat was minute steaks. Definitely not the chopped steak one would expect. The whole sandwich was so saturated in grill prep that every inch of the roll was soggy and had fallen apart by the time it got to our table. Again, the sandwich was not edible due to the smell & taste of grill prep. I spoke with our server, Lucas, about our disappointment. He told us that he was sorry that we were unhappy with our food and that he hoped we have a better meal next time we visit. Complete waste of $60 for food that we didn't eat. I've enjoyed this restaurant chain in the past but after this experience, I doubt we will ever come back.

Ordered takeout food. Havent been in years so we decided to give it another try. WOW so disappointed. The amount of food for the price. 4 inch lobster roll which they burnt the roll for $35. A $20 ceasar salad that was $7 extra for chicken. Yeah the two pieces of chicken. More of a side salad and not dinner salad. 7 inch cheesesteak thats $18 with very little meat on it. Yep, never again. I'm assuming they make their money selling beer and fries and thats it. Just had some of the calamari. God awful, im still chewing. Rubber probably tastes better.

Made me sit there for 20 minutes to pay for my order and ignored me the whole time. Never going back.

Crab fries smell so fishy and coated in old bay so you'd have no idea if it tasted bad and barely any cheese . The lobster cheesesteak the meat and lobster were so tough and flavorless ,the only good thing was the cheese sauce .

Horrible Clams have no flavor, inedible. Gross Lobster roll, is ridiculously priced, u can get more and more favorable one at panera
