I’ve been here twice when visiting my dad (we live in Maryland) but the food is always amazing and the staff are so friendly. We’ve eaten at the restaurant each time but they also seem to do a ton of carryout business so they must be popular!

I am a frequent sushi enjoyer, and have tried from nearly everywhere in the area (Ringwood, Wanaque, Haskel, and Pompton). This place by far is the most consistent and high quality of freshness by far. The slices of fish you get on nigiri are generous, and the specialty rolls don't just taste like complete mush like a lot of other places fall victim to. Just enough toppings to retain a good experience and flavor.

We ordered from here last night for the first time. Hands down, best sushi in the area! From the bento box to the rolls and sushi was delicious. We were surprised and delighted to see a bonus roll in the bag labeled “on the house”. Not sure exactly what it was, but it was very good. Husband said the pickup went really well too; inside is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Mom, dad, and toddler approved!

Very good sushi restaurant. Love the fact that they take a Polaroid picture of you and post it to their wall. Basically a decoration of all their past happy customers! Great to know they are well loved by many people! Definitely recommend if you want sushi and some other Japanese food!

Day before the 4th of July and seemed liked everything is closed. We really wanted sushi and luckily we found Tokyo Sushi in Haskell. Great family atmosphere inside with one wall plastered with hundreds photos of their diners. Food was delicious. Kani salad had a nice little twist with some added crunch. They offer lots of different specialty rolls. Tuna and salmon Sashimi were perfect. Service was excellent and prompt.

Tried a new sushi restaurant and it didn't disappoint. It started with free appetizer and ended with a free dessert. With so many places cutting back this was a wonderful surprise. We had bento boxes and some sushi rolls that night everything was delicious.

I got a california roll and a cinderella roll. Both were delicious, I have no complaints! Servers were very attentive and polite. They gave us a complimentary mochi and some banana drizzled in chocolate as a dessert, which was a perfect treat to finish off the meal :) I’ll be definitely coming back!

Edit: Best sushi in North Jersey and the best owners. I moved away, but whenever I’m in town I make sure to stop here. This is the most amazing sushi place. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. They even gave us special chopsticks for christmas and I was so happy. Beautiful cozy place with beautiful and delicious sushi. Thank you!!

A+ service. A+ taste. Get their Crab Avo salad, which is killer and a must! Ive been to another sushi place nearby, but wasnt nearly as good. Id highly recommend this place.

The place is really cute and the food was really good. I'm usually very skeptic when it comes to raw fish, and I don't really feel comfortable in trying new places, but I really liked it and I did not feel any type of sickness afterwards (I only tried raw salmon). The lady that served us was really sweet.

came as a driver to pick up an order for Uber and I asked to go to the bathroom. She told me there is somebody in the bathroom and I told her don’t worry I can wait cause I really need to use it. She got mad at me and she turned her head away and walked away. My mom then went inside with me and she asked if we can use the bathroom and then come to find out she had lied about someone being in the bathroom. There was nobody there. She just didn’t want us to use it. then there was a lady outside of the restaurant that told us the same thing that she’ll get upset when she’s asked to let somebody use her bathroom and she says no to everybody to use the bathroom that’s wrong, especially for people that are coming as customers and not that it doesn’t matter for me as a driver or other drivers, but especially for customers for her to be refusing the bathroom that’s crazy. Lying about having someone in the bathroom just to refuse to let people use it.
