Opinions de Siam Thai Sushi Glens Falls
Great place! Our server was great and the vibe of the restaurant is very relaxing. I had the Pad Thai and it's the best I've had by far. My husband had the mango curry and was very impressed as well. Highly recommend.
A minor hiccup with our server was more than compensated for by staff. Service was excellent. Our meals were wonderful. On the house beverage round accompanied by appreciation by the manager for our input on service means we will go back and recommend Siam Thai to others.
I went during lunch hour on a Tuesday but it wasn't super packed. I had the best dragon roll I've had in my life. Compliments to the chef. The bartender was very nice and made good conversation for my time there. Excellent service.
We enjoy this establishment. The vegetables are always crisp and well-prepared, the proteins are delightful, the portions are generous and the prices are more than fair. I'm not a fish guy so I can't comment on the sushi, but it always looks amazing at the tables around me. Would recommend in the Glens Falls area.
Very nice sit down spot for good Thai food. Plenty of vegan options. The spicy tofu was bright and delicious (and hot)! We also had the Pad See Ew with tofu and it was very flavorful.
Very good, authentic Thai food. We had the drunken noodle and basil chicken (pad krapow) and both were great and had appropriate spicy levels. Ambience in the restaurant was good. Our server was Micheal S who was super polite and friendly. We were surprised to find such a great Thai restaurant out in the adirondacks and would recommend it to anyone.
This was such a fun, welcoming place, and the food was amazing. We tried the chicken satay and spring roll appetizers, and both were delicious. For our entrees, we had the red and yellow curries with chicken, and both were amazing. We were too full for dessert!
My father always orders his sushi here so I decided to try it. This will now be my new restaurant for sushi. The rolls were made perfectly, and tasted amazing. Ordered the Thai dumplings and they were awesome too. I do think the prices are a wee bit high, but you're paying for fresh ingredients and awesome food, so its worth it for quality.
Every dish was delicious. My wife and I went with her parents, as the first restaurant we visited since the pandemic started, and we got four different lunch specials. We rotated them so we each got to try each other's and they were all amazing. They also have good social distancing and great service!
Can’t love this place anymore than I already do. Food is so fresh and clean delicious. The staff is so kind and attentive. The vibe is chill. Best sushi around for miles. The bar is great too.
I got the Siam Fried rice without eggs and added tofu. Another time I went I got it without eggs and added veggies. Both were absolutely amazing. The chef's deserve an award. I also got their edamame as an appetizer and they were absolutely amazing too. Highly recommend eating here. When I'm in town, I eat here. It was recommended by family.
Visitors from out of town returning to our hotel after a day at Saratoga. We love Thai food and don't have much at home. This was truly unique. We both got curries. They were served in bowls with lots of fabulous sauce. Highly recommend.
My wife and I ordered the green chicken curry and the red chicken curry to go. Both dishes were delicious. We have no complaints. The food is more filling than you think at first glance. Therefore, for the money that you spend, the portion size of food that you receive is worth it. All around, this place is very good.
Excellent service and delicious food. Siam Thai never disappoints. Even on a fairly busy day the food came quickly. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Limited gluten free choices, but all gluten free options are so delicious that I have always enjoyed my meals.
The best Thai food in the Queensbury area. Any time I'm in the area, this is a must stop place for me! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is really nice, and the staff is always friendly.
The food is always amazing and fresh. Great food, great service! Thank you for another wonderful evening!
We were hosted by Channel at Siam Thai. She helped us choose the best option based on our preferences. The food was served in no time. Loved the taste of each dish : Pineapple Tofu Rice, Tom Yum soup, red curry, Pad Thai noodles and ginger vegetables with jasmine rice. All throughout Chanel was very helpful and made sure we had the best experience. The ambience of the place is welcoming and has ample parking space. Must visit
Very good, as good as I've had elsewhere. And what a nice find in Glens Falls, which didn't have anything like this until recently! I went in for lunch: the place was surprisingly empty, with only one other table occupied. (Another family came in while I was there.) I ordered pad kee mao ("drunken noodles"), and it was delicious. The noodles were cooked just right, the beef was tender, and the vegetables crunchy and tasteful. This will be on my go to list during my summer visits to the area.
What a fantastic meal full of flavour and beyond expectation. I was blown away and will be sure to return. We all enjoyed the curries we ordered and the avo fries were unique but good.
It was fantastic. Great price for really high quality food, and very good size portions. Staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait for a seat. Plenty of seating without being crowded. Very nice decor and service was extremely quick. Large menu selection with a great variety. All in all, I'll be going back very soon
My daughter's plans fell through for Halloween so she dressed in cosplay to go out to dinner... She was VERY happy to see most of the servers and staff dressed similarly to her with anime inspired outfits! Beyond the dress, the servers were all attentive and quick... The food and drinks were very good!
This dining experience was amazing! The food, service, and quality of the restaurant was great! My dad and I shared fried tofu and avocado fries, which were delicious! I had the pad Thai, which I would highly recommend, and my dad got the spicy tofu dish, which, wow, the sauce, vegetables and rice are impeccable! The Thai iced tea was very refreshing and wonderful as well! The service was quite fast, bringing our food quickly as well as being friendly! Our waitress kept checking on us and in the end we ended up talking for a little while! Everything was perfect! There was a small issue with the men's bathroom door being a little hard to shut but it's fine if you put some force into it. But definitely go! I know I am next time I am around!
Traveling through the area and decided to grab a meal here with the family. The sushi was amazing. I had a spicy crunchy roll. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant and the service was good too.
Diam Thai was recommended by a friend and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! When he said it's the best sushi 🍣 in the Glenn Falls area he was speaking the gospel truth.
My husband and I went to visit my sister recently and decided to grab dinner with our nieces. My brain completely spaced with the kids and I ended up leaving my bag at the restaurant. We left that night back to Long Island and I only realized the day after that I had forgotten my bag. I called the restaurant and Kim answered and told me that they had my bag and was willing to ship it back to me so I didn’t have to make the 4 hour drive. She was the absolute sweetest and we will definitely be back to eat when we are in the neighborhood. The food was great and full of flavor, and service was amazing! I’m so thankful to the kind staff here and hope everyone has an amazing holiday season ❤️
For an appetizer I had steamed dumplings then for the main course sweet and sour with beef. Both were fantastic, I’m more than full but enjoyed every bite. Sarah was my server and she did a great job. The atmosphere is great and when I’m in the area I will definitely be back.
Fantastic choice for Thai food! I was immensely impressed by the quality of the food that I ordered. Having worked in a Thai kitchen before, I felt that the quality of this restaurant was top notch in terms of authentic Thai food. I hope I can come back one day to try their curries and other Thai dishes, but for my first experience I got the Thai basil chicken and asked for it to be extra spicy. They certainly did not disappoint in the spice level as I was certainly burning up by the end. But the flavors were so good and I loved the fact that they included quality mushrooms in it too. My friend got the drunken noodles and I thought it was rather spicy since she didn’t specify any spice level, much to my liking. Neither of the dishes skimped on the amount of vegetables, which I liked as well. Even the seaweed salad was excellent and didn’t taste like it came out of a package. They were even kind enough to call me after I left the restaurant with my pickup order to notify me that they didn’t give me the salad yet. The employees were very friendly and the interior looked very nice; I hope to dine in for my next visit.
The best Thai food, and service around!!! I have been coming here on a weekly basis for the past 4 years and the food is always consistent, handmade, and absolutely delicious. The service is over the top. Highly recommend !!!!!!!!
Delicious food with plenty of options. Entrees are delicious, most come with a choice of pork, chicken or beef, as well as tofu. The Siam Fried Rice is my go to. It's a nice restaraunt but a little small, so it can occasionally have a wait, takeout is an option. There is also a bar on site.
Amazing, as usual! We ordered 3 specialty rolls and 3 entrees between 2 people. It was SO MUCH delicious food...I can't wait for left overs. The rolls were gorgeous and tasty, with the beautiful orchid accent one each plate. Such a fantastic presentation..they are every time we go. Delicious, once again!
Made with love ❤️ Great experience The avocado salad is amazing!! The sushi is delicious! We ordered the Alaska Roll, the Spicy Crunchy Roll and my fave the Spunge Bob Roll❣️ Our server, Wade was friendly and helpful ~ he even taught us a little about Thai culture and language.
Casual dining. Wonderful Thai food and amazing sushi! Great for those who like spicy but all dishes can be mild as well. Full bar as well as beer and wine. Our bartender was great and he suggested delicious drinks and food. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We'll be back soon for sure! If I had to ding em on anything it would be the music.
I left my purse here without knowing for four days. Called and they had it. The only thing in it was $400 cash, and not a dollar was missing. Awesome people. Great management. Super clean. Food was great and they had awesome cocktails for a sushi place. Bartenders knew what they were doing. Definitely coming back for my birthday. our waitress was super sweet and not over bearing.
Amazing restaurant in Queensbury, NY. We went on a relaxed evening and the tables were kept 6 ft apart, every table was being sanitized after a guest left. Since we are vegetarians, we ordered Massaman curry with tofu, Tom Yum soup and Drunken Noodles with veggies. The curry was rich in flavour and creamy, the quantity was enough to eat it twice, which I did, I packed extra rice for the next day and it was delicious then too. Drunken Noodles had this amazing smoky flavor and yet so soft and blended well with the veggies. Tom Yum soup was seriously delicious, it felt as if had there been nothing except the water yet the soup would taste delicious. For the money paid it is all the worth. The staff is courteous and friendly.
The atmosphere is such an amazing part of this place. I love the feeling when you come in the door and get flowers on your plate. Nothing makes me happier to see amazing food on the plate as well as a great vibe. Got the “Spunge” Bob roll and it was wonderfully prepared. Will be back again as soon as possible.
The food is always wonderful. What stands out even above the great food is the upbeat personality and excellent service provided by Wade. His attitude is always outstanding and he makes dining here such a great experience.
Stopped in for some sushi!.Everything was great tasting, and came out quickly!!.Great service, will be back again!
This place exceeded my expectations for a nice, solo mom's lunch out. I was pleasantly surprised it had a bar and the prices were very good. My wine wasn't very cold but nothing a little ice couldn't fix. I ordered the crab rangoons to start which are always hit or miss. These were a hit! I also got the dragon roll which is a favorite of mine; it was big and didn't disappoint. Everything tasted very fresh. The bartender was also very sweet. I'll be returning for sure!
Great staff. Didn't have a reservation, we had 6 people they had one coming, in 1.5 hrs. They were great even though we were on a time schedule. We got done in time though. Highly recommend did is fantastic. Service was great.
We just ate there for the first time. The food was excellent, our server name was Chantel , very polite and gave us excellent service. You will not find healthy food anywhere for these prices way worth a ride.
Good food, polite staff and acomodating menu. We were vegetarians and were served as week as guided well. Yellow mango curry was excellent with good portion size.
Went here on a Tuesday a couple months back. Only a couple of other parties were in the restaurant. Sushi was excellent and tasted fresh. I ordered the tiger roll, spicy tuna roll, and a spring roll appetizer. Would come back again.
I've enjoyed every dish I've had here. Last night, I tried the Basil and Chili curry. I'm writing this as I eat my leftovers and they are amazing. I was hoping to see Wade because he's an excellent bartender. He wasn't there but the woman who took care of me was lovely and the staff is all very friendly. I highly recommend Siam Thai.
I was so impressed by the food here that after having dinner with friends I returned for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my husband. Both experiences were excellent. Dinner was on a Tuesday night between Christmas and New Year's. The place was fairly quiet when we arrived around 4:30, but it was very busy by the time we left. I don't know that there were any open tables at that point. The hot Thai tea was perfect on a really cold night as I waited for my food. The crispy dumplings were delicious, hot, and fresh when they arrived at our table. I requested the Drunken Noodles with chicken at a less spicy level (like a 1) and they were perfect, just the right amount of heat with a sauce that tasted great. Service was excellent and they were very patient as we stayed a bit after paying the bill to finish catching up. Saturday afternoon lunch was a bit quieter with only a few other tables of customers while we were there. This experience was just as wonderful as my first time. I enjoyed a cup of hot tea (still so cold outside!) while we waited for appetizers. Hubby ordered the spicy salmon roll- his favorite - and reported it was the best he had tried in our area. I know he will be asking to go back soon just for that. We both loved the crab rangoon. They were very light without any of that oily heaviness you sometimes find. We ordered the Pad See Ew with beef and Siam Fried Rice with chicken for our entrees. These were still really big portions for lunch, but we finished almost everything because it was all so delicious. I especially loved the sauce in the Pad See Ew. In other places it can be fairly bland or sweet as it isn't spice-heavy. Here it balanced the flavors well and tasted really good. Overall, terrific friendly customer service in a beautiful setting with well-prepared food that tasted fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend- I know we will back soon!
My family has been coming here for almost 15 years. He got to know the owners so well that they actually became good friends and like family to us. The food is amazing and it's the best sushi around! Always a treat and a pleasure.
This place is the hands down the best! The food is always amazing, the restaurant is clean, and service is outstanding. My wife and I love going here and we always brag about this place. There isn't a bad thing on the menu. THIS IS A MUST!
We ordered take out from here on a Wednesday evening. My wife is vegan so we called ahead and asked about the pad Thai and the Massaman Curry, both can be made vegan if anyone is wondering. We then ordered online, just because it was easier with our larger order. After I submitted the online order they called to confirm based on our previous questions, which was awesome and we really appreciated it. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were large, we all had left overs for the next day. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get good Thai food in the Lake George area.
My husband and I ordered 5 sushi rolls between us and the were huge! The spicy tuna was very flavorful, quite possibly the best I ever had. I also had the "Spunge-bob" which was crisp and sweet. My husband ordered the TGIF, Caterpillar, and the Dragon roll. I usually don't enjoy sushi will eel but these were an exception....so yummy! The drinks were on point too...I had the Phuket iced tea (delicious) and my husband had an amazing mojito. If you love sushi, good drinks, and fast service then give Siam Thai a visit!
First time here, so I feel it's difficult to give a truly accurate rating. If half stars were an option I'd rate it a 4.5. The service was great, no issues. The food was good but nothing that blew me away. The chicken satay was just average in my opinion. However I've heard many people say it was the best they've ever tried. So please only take it as one person's opinion. My massaman curry was good but nothing special. I will say their shrimp tempura roll was delicious. My husband had the teriaki steak and said it was good. Overall I just felt the food didn't deserve 5 stars. But I'll update if/when I go back. I will say from looking around at other tables it seemed most people were getting all sushi, and it looked phenomenal. I'm just not a big sushi eater, mainly bc I don't like many of the ingredients. But if you're an adventurous sushi person I'd most definitely give this place a try!
I HIGHLY recommend stopping in! Of course my camera eats first because I eat with my eyes! Everything there is aesthetically pleasing from the design to the plating. The food is so fresh and so good! The chicken satay is so juicy and delicious! I think it just might be the best satay I ever ate! You see three different pictures here because I’ve been back 3 times in a matter of 7 days! Each time I came with more people and everyone has loved it! I also enjoyed their seaweed salad, baked salmon roll, and vegetable pad thai! To top it all off, the service is swift! The food doesn’t take long to come out but everything is hot and fresh! I can’t forget to mention, our waitress remembered my Thai tea order (no milk, 1/2 sugar)! Make sure you check this place out!
Excellent food and service! Was in town visiting, this restaurant embodies the essence of Glens Falls. The waiter was charming and friendly, providing great recommendations on adequately priced and delicious entrees. Pictured are the teriyaki chicken, dragon roll, spicy mango chicken curry and a pad thai dish.
I just needed something in my stomach because I hadn’t eaten for 10 hours so I simply ordered some sushi without too much thought. The quality blew me away! This is the best freshest sushi I have had in years and I eat sushi about once a week in NYC- this is much much better than any place I’ve been to in years… bravo! I returned for lo mein and once again, excellent quality! The server too (I think their name was Chantelle ) was excellent! Amazing service and hospitality. Thank you Chantelle for all the care and warmth 💜
Excellent meal. Wonderful and very attentive waitress. Busy for a Friday night but we only had a few minutes wait for a table. No skimping on the avocados in the salad and ginger dressing divine. Pineapple Fried Rice full of fresh vegetables. Spunge Bob had coconut shrimp surrounded by cucumbers and cream cheese with fresh mango. Pork Lo Mein came out piping hot with thinly sliced tender pork and plenty of fresh vegetables. Noodles delicious and just the right amount of sauce accompanied the dish to make it a perfect touch.
Really great Thai restaurant in Glen falls. We went here after hiking around lake George. The place is well maintained, very clean and very well setup. We were 4 of us and were seated immediately. The staff was very nice and friendly. We ordered the Thai ice tea for drinks which was amazing. They we ordered a sushi, sashimi and tempura combo as appetizers. For main course I got the drunken noodle and pad Thai. The drunken noodle was spicy but was really good. Pad Thai also didn't disappoint. Was over a great food. Highly recommend this place of you are looking for a Thai place around lake George or Glen falls.
This was really excellent Thai/Japanese food. We had the vegetarian sushi, Spicy Tofu and Baby Corn with rice dishes. It was tasty and well seasoned. It was real good hot comfort food for a rainy day. The vegetarian options were healthy and excellent - this is the best Veg Sushi I have ever had.
Ordered takeout from here. Got the chicken green curry and the beef PRIK POW FRIED RICE. Lots of food for $34. Green curry was tasty, would recommend and would order again. The rice was amazing it was sweet in a savory way.
The food was very good and I’d return when I’m back visiting in the area again. Only negative for me was the restaurant is very loud. It’s also very small inside so on busy nights it feels a bit closed in. Overall however it was a great meal. I recommend it for the sushi.
Lots of choice, I got a sushi roll and it was really good! Also my cocktail was great! Could do with some more Thai ambience I guess, I'm not big on having TVs in restaurants.
Got takeout from here and the food was very good. We got satay, beef pho, Bangkok shrimp, basil hot pepper chicken, and coconut fried ice cream. They were out of the dumplings. All the food was really good except for the Bangkok shrimp which had a mayonnaise like sauce on it that was too sweet. It was like they mixed mayo with ketchup and added a little Tabasco to it. Staff were super friendly. Would have been 5 stars but they forgot my fried ice cream and I had to walk back from my hotel to get it.
Very nice waitress, good food, nice atmosphere. A little on the expensive side for lunch.
I’m skeptical of Asian restaurants that do Thai, Japanese, Korean, etc in one place. But Siam Thai Sushi delivered a nice corner experience near our hotel (Queensbury). Atmosphere was clean and modern, service strong. My drunken noodles were good, my son’s bento box was good, and my wife’s sushi platter was good. Prices fair. Not a destination for the best fish, but very nice corner restaurant that satisfied our spicy Asian cravings.
We were travelling back to NYC. Went tO Siam on a Monday and was not disappointed. We ordered pad thai and sushi. Everything was delish service was friendly. We left happy.
This was my first time getting food from here and the sushi tasted really good. I got chicken pad thai & spicy crunchy roll .. cost about $30 for both. I really liked the spicy crunchy roll the most. the chicken pad thai was a bit burnt compared to other places I’ve gotten chicken pad Thai from, and tasted a little funny.. but I will definitely come back and get sushi from here!
Elegant, handsome locale in the downtown center of Glens Falls. Broad menu of Thai and Japanese cuisine. The sushi and sashimi was deliciously prepared and presented. The mango curry portion was generous. Wide range of starters available, as well as a full bar. Family-friendly. A bit over-priced, but enjoyable for any special night out.
Nice place for food and drinks. Decent $$. When busy it can be quite noisy, but that just tells you they do a nice job of having repeat customers. Wait staff is friendly.
I guess one of the better Thai places around the area considering we came for a trip. Tom yum soup is okay, Drunken Noodles was okay too, green curry was bland and Crab Rangoon is very bad. Overall if you are traveling to lake George, this can be a decent stop for lunch or dinner 4 star just for sushi. It was good
Not good. Ordered fried dumplings thinking surely they would be the wok seared style and they came deep fried and soggy at that, like something off the menu at a comfort food, sports bar. Then, to discover my hot tea was $3.50 (and not even hot but rather warm as tap water). Sorry folks. This is not the kind of experience that's gonna give you a win over the other Tai joint in town. And it's too bad because the wait staff is pleasant and I do like the atmosphere and location.
Food was great. Service left a little to be desired. Staff was friendly but the couple sat after us was waited on first. Our appetizer was delivered well after the main course. We will go back and hope we can have better luck next time. As stated the food was great and staff was friendly just seemed to be a little off their game.
Normally I love Siam Thai and think it’s the best Thai place in town but their curry is completely flavorless and watered down in such a strange way. No spice, no flavor. It tastes like rice milk with a small amount of coloring in it. Lunch portions are also super small for the price
The food was excellent! But I am afraid the service was lacking. The first time I went there I asked for wasabi so I could continue to have my suishi. I waited and waited close to 10 minutes and it never came. So I finished my sushi with no more wasabi. It dampened my experience. I decided to return for a second time and unfortunately I had another poor service experience. Although the food was excellent, my overall experience was not. I will not be returning.
First and foremost, the food tasted fantastic and the service was amazing. The atmosphere is average, an open layout, bar to one side and a couple televisions playing an assortment of shows. The downside I experienced was my fried rice and seafood meal tasted great, but the price of $25 for 3 shrimp, 1 scallop and a few pieces of calamari seemed high. Please remember, the food tasted great, I was just disappointed in the quantity of "seafood" when many other establishments provide a healthy portion of seafood for the same price. You can tell the meal is designed off market prices, as there was more onion than anything, followed by carrots and then the other ingredients. It is important to remember the taste of the food and service were great and made for an enjoyable evening.
Went here for dinner and it was horrible. Server didn't check to see how the food was after it was served, the chicken was VERY DRY and they still charged me for it after I asked them to remove it from the bill. We will NEVER return
The sushi was good. The curry dish was horrible. I took 3 bites and could not in all honesty eat that. I asked the to take it away, she was rude and unprofessional . She blamed it on my taste buds. Hey refuse to take it off the bill.
Really disappointed. Went in yesterday, about 4:30, not very busy. Wife was very excited, she’s been wanting to go for ages. We say for a few minutes, no one even came by to say hi. Table next to us was sat. They waited a few minutes. Server finally came by, took other table’s drink order, then brought drinks, then took dinner order. Never even looked our way. Then, server went to another table that came in after us. At that point, after over 15 minutes of not being acknowledged, we left and went next door to Tres Mijas and had a wonderful time.
My family and I visited Lake George for a vacation we wanted Thai food n decided this was close to our hotel plus they had a 4.5 rating we got in was seated their were 3 other tables occupied we placed our order by the younger waitress she didn’t give us her name wanted pineapple juice their was none my daughter n I took apple juice instead she brought it out warm ok it was 4 of us we ordered our meal. the food was mid their was barely any interaction with us but I guess the owner was going to the other tables ensuring everyone was happy n taken care of no problem ( we were the only AA family their ) anyways our bill came $149, my 23 yr old decided she’ll treat us n pay the bill she gave the waitress $160 n give her a 10.00 tip I could see them at the cash register counting the money I thought they wasn’t sure if you bring the change back low n behold the owner came up to My daughter n told her she needs to tip more cause the 10,00 could not pay our server, I was speechless n very taken aback my husband gave her 20 .00 .i thought it was rude n very unprofessional to approach your customer n tell them their hip was not enough since when it’s the customer responsibility to pay their worker anyways we won’t ever go back their to eat !! Very classless
The food tasted horrible and the manager argued with me because I said the food didnt taste good. She was very rude. I told her multiple times that I meant no disrespect. I told her I would pay for the drinks and appetizer but not the entrees that we only took 2 bites of. I love their sushi but everything else was horrible. My bill was 15 dollars and I still tipped 5 dollars. Very rude manager and horrible experience overall
