After having a long day and being undecided about what to eat, my wife daughter and I went to jaspers. At first I didn’t know what to get as I’ve been there once over 9 years ago. I asked the nice man in the front what was the most popular item on the menu and he pointed at the crazy burger. I was iffy about it but I was willing to try it. I asked for it without mushrooms as those aren’t my favorite. What followed was me tasting one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted in my life. The burger itself was well composed and when I took a bite my mouth wanted a second bite. Half way down the burger I realized that had lost control and my wife was looking at me like “damn chill” I apologized for my bad etiquete. I devoured that thing like I hadn’t eaten in 40 days. The fries were nothing but perfect as they were very nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, like a perfect fry outta be. The jalapeño the man gave us gave the burger an amazing kick, which overall gave it the perfect balance of spicy, meaty and juicy. Yes, in fact, this was one of those very well balanced tastes that you only get if cross over great ingredients and a passion for cooking. The place under this ownership looks really well kept. The staff is friendly, the restrooms and overall the whole restaurant seem to be a super shiny, and almos sparkly clean.

If you're craving a good hamburger 🍔 you have to try this place! I was able to request certain ingredients that other burger places didn't offer. I got the teriyaki chicken with pineapple and cheese. Fries were fresh and the place was clean. Great place for family with kids.

Under new management. I drove here several times. This is a quality mom and pop burger joint. I like this place. Their burgers are great, the fries are great and the staffs are friendly. The beef patties were very thick and flavorful, the produce was fresh. The fries were a bit plainer but with some salts and ketchup they were great. I think this place has the best quality burgers around. I had a great overall experience and I will definitely be back.

Hats off to the new owners of Jasper's Giant Hamburgers in Gold River! The transformation in service is nothing short of remarkable, and it's evident that they've raised the bar. A special shoutout to Andres, the fantastic manager, and Corina, an outstanding waitress, for making my dining experience truly memorable. One thing that immediately caught my attention was their transparency about the 4% cash discount. It's a breath of fresh air to see a restaurant be upfront about such details, unlike a few others that sneak it into the bill. Kudos for the honesty! I stuck to my favorite—the veggie burger, a classic that I used to enjoy under the previous ownership. However, this time, it felt like a whole new experience. The veggies were noticeably crisper, and I could taste the freshness. It seems like they've kicked it up a notch in sourcing quality ingredients. What really stood out was Corina's attentive service. Not only did she take my order with a smile, but she also came to clear the tray after I finished—a small gesture that goes a long way. It's these personal touches that make a dining experience exceptional. The food itself was not just delicious but also reasonably priced, making it a win-win situation. I can confidently say that with such fantastic service and delectable offerings, Jasper's Giant Hamburgers has become my go-to spot in Gold River. Looking forward to exploring more items on the menu during my next visit. The promise of trying out their milkshakes has me excited! If you're in the area and craving a satisfying meal with top-notch service, Jasper's is the place to be. I'll definitely be back for more!

I heard that Jaspers Giant Burgers was still open and under new ownership. This place has been around for many years. It is located in Rancho Cordova/Gold River on Sunrise blvd. I stopped in for a burger and fries. I was immediately greeted as I entered. The place is clean, bright and has a nice Diner vibe. Customer service is excellent! I received my order within 5 mins or so. The huge burger, fries and side of mushrooms were delicious and very filling. When ordering you can choose from a wide variety of burgers (beef, turkey, veg, ostrich, etc), hot dogs, chicken and a variety of fries (regular with skin on, curly, seasoned, steak fries, etc.). I asked for my order to go, but when I received it I decided to dine in. There are a lot of TVs to view sports or other programs. I enjoyed listening to the old school music that was playing in the background. Overall, great place to dine in or take out when you want a good burger.

The burger was good, but the fries were too oily—I had to dry them out with napkins. Overall, the experience was good, though I wish the fries weren’t so oily. It would be great if they made the fries in-house instead of using frozen ones. I’ll try it again soon.

My first impression walking in was not as great! The place looks dirty, and it seems the owners don't care. Portions are small for the price. I didn't want to wait for my order inside, so I decided to go back to my car. I was surprised to see the owner bringing me the order to my car. My order was not presentable. However, the burger and fries were outstanding. The best burgers in town. I will definitely keep buying burgers in this place.

I used to work for Jasper's many, many years ago. It's been 15+ years since I've been to one. The times have changed. The menu is much larger than it used to be. The pastrami burger was pretty good, but a little overdone. The skin on fries were awesome as was the garlic fries and chocolate shake. This location is pretty dingy. The whole place could really use a deep cleaning. Don't touch the jukeboxes located at the tables.

Used to like this place, came back today for the first time in a long time and noticed the signs that it was under new management. The prices seem way higher which would be fine if they weren’t using premade frozen patties. It was disgusting, I took 2 bites and threw the rest away. 5 stars for service because they were nice, 1 star for food…. Gross 🤢

I went here for the first time today, and here's my honest review. The service was pretty nice and said, "Have a good night." To me and my dad, who also went. The atmosphere was ok it reminded me of a 1960s burger place. But the food is what really messed this up for us. My dad got chicken tenders, and I got a burger. And the burger was really filling and I only ate half of it. And there was this weird fry in my thing that was undercooked and had this weird green thing on it. But my dad said the chicken tenders were eh and overall, the food wasn't that great. I would rate higher, but the food was really kind of downgraded it. But if you want to try something new, don't take this badly I think it'd be a great place for you to go with your family I just had a bad experience here but it might be different then your experience.

A Sac icon so good every burger every time. I miss the old Jaspers. Definite decline since the change. Moved back to Sac after 5 years. I said im gonna get a Jaspers. Surprised to see it changed. Had the my old usual giant burger with bacon no cheese. It was smaller, dried out and the bun was stale and different. Disappointing.
