My husband and I have been here a few times. I can't believe I haven't left a review yet because they're phenomenal! They're also one of the few places that offer lengua so that's ten stars in my book. The food is always fresh and delicious and service is fast and friendly.

The tacona cantina is a real jem. Their menu is not it is not 100% gluten-free but is predominantly gluten free. The entrees are not the standard Mexican fair they're actually relatively creative and extremely healthy. The staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. I had the kale quinoa salad. And my wife had the Birtia tacos. We were both delighted we shared the street corn and it was also amazing. I'm really happy to have found this place. My wife and I will be returning.

This restaurant had creative, unique Mexican cuisine that is mostly gluten free. My wife had the Birria Bowl and it is pure comfort food. I had the special Watermelon salad that was had elements of the Luchador Salad and Cobb Salad. Service is very friendly and helpful. Love the Luchador style.

YUM!!! I will never pass this place without getting a taco. The homemade corn tortillas were so freaking good, and the fact that everything is gluten free (with the exception of burritos and quesadillas) is a celiac's dream. The Baja fish tacos were my personal favorite but literally every single kind we tried was amazing. Also the gluten free churro bites were great too.

Taconah Cantina has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The staff has been incredibly friendly each time we visit and the pickup orders we’ve placed have all been prepared very quickly. The food has been very consistent and has honestly been getting better and better since they first opened; a rarity in Westchester. Eating out in 2025 has gotten more challenging for restaurants and customers alike, and Taconah Cantina continues to feel very worth it. Highly recommend! And to the staff: Please keep doing whatever you’re doing!

My husband and I looked at each other over dinner tonight as we always do when a meal is incredible and I said, “Is this another five-star meal?” Of course, he said yes… but then we wondered if we had already left them a 5-star review. I’m so glad we checked, because we hadn’t, and Taconah absolutely deserve another. We’ve been dining in and ordering takeout since the day this family-owned restaurant opened, and they have never once served a disappointing meal. The food is consistently delicious. Every drink is perfect, every dish is fresh, and the entire restaurant remains as spotless as it was on opening day. The staff is always kind, pleasant, attentive, and quick. Nothing made me happier tonight than seeing people slowly trickle in. This time of year can be tough for small businesses — a mix of slow days and busy ones so I genuinely hope our community continues to support this gem!!! If you're looking for reliably delicious food and warm service, this is the place. Five stars, every single time.

I was driving north on 684 from NYC yesterday as the snow got heavier and heavier. After seeing a car swerve off the roadway, I took the next exit at Golden’s Bridge to find a place to lay low until the snow calmed down. I pulled into the next parking lot I saw and settled into a spot. I saw the open sign for Taconah Cantina was illuminated, and checked their website on my phone. All looked good, and I went in for a solo lunch. IT WAS AMAZING! I had the vegetale taco and the fish taco. I tried most of their amazing sauces, but really didn’t need them. Each taco was a balance of great flavors and textures. The homemade tortillas were perfect! To top it all off, I had churro bites! And everything I ate was gluten free (I avoid gluten due to an autoimmune condition, but I’m not allergic, though their website makes it clear they care about protecting from cross contamination). The service was friendly and fantastic! I’ve passed by that exit on 684 hundreds of times over the years, but now I will regularly stop to get those tacos!

One of our favorite local spots! Unique take on Mexican food without being too unique (we get a little tired when fusion goes too far!). Super friendly staff and delicious fare. Their soups are a blanket to the winter belly!

A truly excellent dining experience! We live nearby yet had no idea this place was here. We were in the mood and stumbled on in not really sure what to expect. Small speed bump no bowl of salsa on the table. Clearly not a problem as the offerings were available even if in small package needing refill. Got the Bira Tacos and was floored by their flavor and presentation with the dipping consume'. Even the rice and beans were delicious. I cant wait to return!!!

The tacos were fresh and very good. A little on the pricey side. I believe they were around $5+ depending on which type you got. To be fair, I think Taco prices everywhere are getting really steep. I like that they offer Tepache cans as a drink. The girl at the counter was friendly and even came by to make sure everything was good and helped clear our trays, even though this was not a typical waiter/server type of restaurant. I would go again. This place shows promise.

I called the night of the order and two more times to tell them about this issue and the restaurant kept promising to refund the full order total which was $122.19. They never refunded the order and kept giving us the run around. I disputed the charge on my credit card and this was their awful response to get out of the dispute! No mention of the staple in the food making the meal INEDIBLE! See picture of the STAPLE and the restaurant’s pitiful response to the credit card company. Also they said we did not tip but was just a pick up take out order. This whole experience was very sad and pathetic. Will make sure let all friends and family know. UPDATE on 11/18/25 - the response from the restaurant is a lie. The total is a lie and the refund is non-existent. See attached receipt which proves how much we were charged in total and never received any refund for the carnitas. Restaurant pretending we spent more than we did. It proves that the restaurant has falsified the facts in their post. If the restaurant is doing this on a google review, who know what else they are doing to the food. DISGUSTING AND REPREHENSIBLE! Also I would never again order food from a place that SERVED FOOD WITH A STAPLE IN IT! The fact Taconah made up another number and said we placed another order is preposterous. The whole second part is a made up story! You’ve proved nothing with your story. I’ve posted all the receipts and back up for my review.

Recently ordered lunch here. This place has some nerve charging customers $6 bucks for 3 tiny churro bites which were served with some weird soy sauce. What a rip off. I would never return. Subway next door has a $2 churro which is a foot long.

That’s beyond disgusting. When I brought it to the owners’ attention, they couldn’t have cared less. No apology, no accountability — just blank stares and attitude. It’s clear they don’t care about hygiene, quality, or their customers. Save yourself the trouble and your stomach — do not eat here. There are plenty of other places that actually care about what they serve. This one isn’t worth the risk.
