Can’t wait to come back when I’m passing through Santa Barbara!! The chile’ is bomb!! U know the foods good when they have chile that’s great! I loved my pork taco the best

Lilly’s Taqueria is strong with the Force—a destination no street taco enthusiast should ignore. The tacos… impressive. Most impressive. Bursting with flavor, they are as authentic as one could hope to find in this sector. Even my co-worker, a native of Mexico, confirmed their undeniable resemblance to those from his homeland. When we arrived, the line stretched before us—no fewer than 40 souls awaiting their turn. Yet, the staff, efficient as Imperial officers, maintained swift service, ensuring our wait was brief. The salsa cart, a glorious addition, offered an array of fresh, potent flavors to enhance the experience. For a mere 40 credits, we secured nine tacos and two drinks—a bargain given their undeniable quality. The experience was… satisfying. I shall return. The Force compels it.

Great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family! The food service is very fast, customer service is awesome and the food is very delicious! And their hot salsa is really good and gives you a kind but nice burn🤤 Parking is easy to find and plenty of parking lots!

I got 2 asada and 2 adobada tacos and I was disappointed. I had high expectations for this places so I’m rating them hard. The asada wasn’t the best quality and the tortillas were stiff. At $3.5 a taco they’re not cheap and should have higher quantity meats. They were good but definitely not the best in town. Their spiciest salsa was spicy but didn’t have good flavor. The lower 2 salsa were good in flavor.

Speedier than a man after November (SUPER GREAT SERVICE) got the lengua, pollo, asada, and pork. All very delicious tacos yum yum yum. Wish they had horchata 😞 but it’s okay 👍

Such a great hidden gem. We love to stop by here when visiting our son up at school. I had the carne, pork and chicken tacos. The meat was tasty and the tortillas freshly made. So good

Something to think about I ordered something might taste pretty good but you can order something else and it might taste different but what I ordered was tasty and fresh but if you put the green chili cuz that's the only one I got didn't have any flavor

I ordered 6 beef tongue tacos and got home to find 6 beef tacos. Not tongue. This is the 2nd time they have done this to me. Very disappointed. They offered to swap them and that’s about it, I called from home and rather eat the tacos than go back to the restaurant that I just payed at to get my order right 🤦‍♂️. This place should do better with getting orders properly.

11/23/25 Update: Gave them another shot today. Our tacos looked nothing like the pics below. Once again, needed Tweezers to find the meat. Three strikes, and they are out! Original review: Tacos were very sparse on meat. Happened last time as well. Heard such great things about this place. Very Disappointing!!

I had dinner last night there and I ask for my tortillas to be well done like I always have and the cooker there had a rude attitude scream at me if i wanted them “well done” or “quemaditas” I didn’t respond back because I felt disrespectful when I wasn't even done ordering. Never had this experience before But when I got my tacos they were burnt. My tortillas was literally black and hard. I could not eat them and I was not trying to go back and talk to that disrespectful man.
