After several weeks of nonstop travel, I was finally able to enjoy moments of New York City and an impromptu stroll, led me to Palladino’s and what a treat it was. From the moment I walked into the door, I was greeted by two beautiful hostesses who were abundantly accommodating. I did not have a reservation, and I was a solo diner, not interested in sitting at the bar. With genuine smiles; they found a table for me right away. I was placed in the center of the dining room room where I could experience the palpable energy in the room, the infectious holiday cheer, and I could revel in the beautiful ambience. I was greeted by several servers who were all so kind and very thoughtful, paying me compliments and then I was introduced to Ivan, my Server. His service and genuine attitude was so refreshing, it was one of the greatest highlights of the evening besides the food itself. My meals were impeccable, and I cannot wait to take another stroll into the blissful experience that was this lovely gem adjacent to Grand Central :).
From start to finish, our experience at Palladino’s was nothing short of outstanding. We started with the steak and egg sushi roll, which was as creative as it was delicious – a perfect balance of flavor and texture that set the tone for the rest of the meal. For mains, we enjoyed the “92” bone-in New York strip and the filet steak. Both were cooked to absolute perfection – beautifully seared on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender inside. Without exaggeration, this was the best steak we have ever had. The mashed potatoes were rich, buttery, and simply to die for, while the french fries were crisp, golden, and perfectly seasoned. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the personal touch from Chef Sam Hazen. He took the time to sit with us, share stories about his culinary journey, and talk through the inspiration behind the dishes. It made the evening feel incredibly warm and memorable – an experience that went far beyond just great food. If you’re looking for a place that delivers exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and genuine hospitality, Palladino’s at Grand Central is it. We’ll absolutely be returning soon.

I visited last evening and had just planned to have a drink at the bar. Unfortunately there was no space, yet the female bartender was so welcoming I asked her if she could find me a table. Within minutes I was seated at a table and was given a menu. The staff made quick to clear off the other place settings to make me feel more comfortable alone. Ivan my server helped me choose the perfect scallop appetizer. He was very personable and attentive and made me feel comfortable dining alone. The prices may seem a little high but the quality of the food is worth every penny.
The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Every dish exceeded our expectations. However, what truly made this experience unforgettable was the outstanding service, especially from our waiter, Iván Leos. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness were exceptional. He was always attentive, made excellent recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. Great food is important, but exceptional service makes all the difference and Iván truly elevated the entire experience. We will definitely be coming back, especially hoping to be served by him again. Highly recommended!
In full honesty wasn’t my first choice for a reservation but WOW I am sure glad this evening happened. I have already scheduled a revisit! Let’s start with the service. Over the top. Amazing. Unreal. True team effort but absolute call out to Eliah. She is an absolute professional. She made the evening stellar. Above and beyond. GM Marc also a true gem. Checked on every table and there was no task beneath him. He was doing whatever he needed to do to ensure the guests were happy and left satisfied. Again, true team effort starts at the top. I was also fortunate enough to meet Mr Palladino himself. Wishing him continued success as his attention to detail is obvious everywhere. Food. Everything was absolutely incredible. Meatball, onion bloom, cream spinach, NY Strip (cooked absolutely to perfection) snapper and sea bass with steamed veggies in a bag. I can’t speak highly enough about the flavors and again, attention to detail. How about your choice of three different steak sauces?! Lived each one almost equally. Lastly the hummingbird cake? Seriously? Could this have gone any better? Pictures do not do this place justice. Absolutely gorgeous setting and Me Palladino you’ve outdone yourself. Absolutely counting the minutes to our revisit!!
Went with close friends here yesterday and from the moment you walk in you are already greeted and seated just as fast. Many thanks to the Manager Marc he's the best Shout outs to Chef Chris and Chef Sam Hazen for the food you know everything is going to be good when even the salad is on point everything was amazing. (you guys are amazing again) One of the best waiters high recommend is Lee. He was very attentive, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu along with questions we had about them. Our 7th Valentine’s anniversary! The receptionist remembered my husband and offered us the ☎️ booth. I private space where wer were isolated from the buzzing of Grand Central Station. Ryan was our incredible server who was very precise about portion sizes: the Katz Pastrami Sandwich is delicious and huge. It comes with pickles, beets and a yummy sauce. Trust me, you’ll come back to this review to give me a ❤️!! And the banana pudding is perfect and enough for two. A great Valentine’s Day at Palladino’s!!!!!
A perfect restaurant The service is incredible (ask for Brian!) and the food is amazing - with both classic and unique options. The unique items are fun but their classic (like burger, pasta, and blossoming onion) have truly been perfected! The drinks are also great and at $19 each are a great price for a quality drink You definitely don’t feel like you’re in a commuter hub. What a fantastic spot!!!
Me and my husband had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant last night. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. What truly elevated the evening was the service, our server Angela, was remarkable. She was attentive, warm, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the night. Her professionalism and kindness made the experience unforgettable. I would highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the amazing food but also for the incredible service. Perfect char, incredible flavor, and cooked with precision that makes you question every other steak you’ve ever eaten. The appetizers and desserts hit the same high mark—each bite carefully balanced and beautifully presented. Service? Over the top, in the best way possible. Every plate, every glass, every interaction feels intentional. The entire night ran like a fine-tuned orchestra. When this team brings their energy and craft back to Dallas, they’ll own the scene. Such a beautiful space in one of my favorite spots in the city. We sat at the bar to enjoy a drink after dinner. Our bartender, Ayesha, was phenomenal. She helped us pick out two great drinks while maintaining conversation with the whole bar. She was so friendly and offered a lot insight into the design of the restaurant. We were enjoying ourselves and the atmosphere so much we got a slice of cake; which was superb. I’ll definitely be back to try dinner
Wow!! Top 5 restaurant experience of all time!! The food was incredible, sushi, meatball, oysters, Cesar Salad, Cowboy Ribeye!! Chef Sam is an amazing professional. Our waiter Marc was so cordial and knowledgeable about the menu. A pleasure to speak with. I cannot say enough about my experience.
This place is a true gem! The tuna carpaccio was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I was also blown away by the creativity of their unique rolls filled with beef tartare and pastrami, such an unexpected and delicious combination. On top of the fantastic food, the service was outstanding. Giana took such great care of us—she was warm, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable. Do it miss put on the Sunday ice cream. Can’t wait to come back!
Got dinner with my family and everything was spectacular! Our server was Cooper and he did an amazing job, also his manager Jose Eduardo was there making sure we were enjoying every single thing. Thank you so much! Please order the kankan pork chop that was our favorite and the Soft serve sundae.

This place is very neat. The menu has great food. The cocktails are great. Lanoix to be exact. The decorations and the atmosphere is very rich. Paige did a great Job with the mixture of cocktails and teaching what the cocktails are made out of. It’s a must visits if you’re visiting time square.
Dinner tonight was spectacular! We were greeted by several very friendly employees before meeting Steven, who was above and beyond outstanding. Each dish was crafted with thought and care. Perfectly paired with a recommended Cabernet which the sommelier came over to discuss with us in depth. One of the most incredible meals I’ve experienced. I can’t wait to go back.

Visiting nyc or want to bring friends/family to an unforgettable dinner? Run don’t walk to Palladinos, chef Sam Hazen knocked it out of the park with this food. The food is phenomenal, the steak, the pomodoro pasta, veggies and veggie sushi - all with such a delicious unique flavor, set in the iconic grand central station! I will be back many more times.

If I were a New York commuter, I would have to try very hard to not eat something from this restaurant every day. Whenever I get back to the city, I’ll be sure to stop by the first day in town. Lovely food presented by lovely people in a sophisticated yet totally relaxed environment. Thank you, Palladino’s!
I went here for my birthday with my husband and the staff was absolutely amazing! I give all of them including our waiter Henry 5 stars. The service is so important at a restaurant and they make you want to come back. Henry was very patient and gave us honest suggestions on what to order based on what other customers have enjoyed. I ordered the French onion soup to share as a starter. The presentation was beautiful but I didn't care for the puffed pastry or the cheese stick because it was too rich for me. My husband did enjoy it though. I also ordered the mezcal hot chocolate. I didn't enjoy it because the tequila gave the hot chocolate a weird taste that was off putting to me. I did enjoy the prime rib. It was seasoned well just a little too rare for my tastes but my husband enjoyed his pork chop. He said it was really good. We also enjoyed the sides we ordered. We ordered the carrots, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. At the end I received a slice of raspberry cake for my birthday and we both enjoyed it. The ambience is great because you get to look out at Grand Central while you're eating which is very nice. I had a great birthday and I do thank the staff for making my day feel special!
