Good food, 50% off the buffet after 3:30 pm. Very friendly service and staff always smiling
This is one of the cleanest Buffet restaurants around the Grand Central area. You pay 50% from 4pm -7pm.They have a nice seating area for eating.Hmmm i'm hungry i got to go there now!
wide variety of fresh food, Quality of ingredients make the price reasonable and looks crowded from the outside around 2 pm but line moves surprisingly fast, I gotta give it to them, really efficient service and tasty food.
Nice place to Grab a bite. After 4pm the buffet is half price. Lots to choose from to eat. Friendly staff
The food is so fresh and so many options to choose from. They change the food options everyday. Breakfast was also amazing and had so many options to choose from.
Love this place. Lots off food variety buffet style, plus 3 separate station where you can get pasta, sandwiches and salads.
The pasta bar is amazing and fresh made by expert. Friday at lunch they often have free chocolate chip cookies.
Fresh food, great service. I love going here whenever I can. The service is fast and the staff are friendly, polite.
You and your are the Best in NYC keep that Good vibe Sir... you're Great Businessman as well NYC needs you more... and Great Italian family as well Mazeltov!!! MAY GOD CONTINUES BLESS YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS.
Great food, Great staff, Awesome Place. All make you feel at home, tried the rest but always come back to the best!!!!
Staff is nice here. Fast paced. You come in you get out. There’s many options to choose from. It’s pricey per pound especially if you just want some fruits. The food is good though for breakfast and lunch. You can even go to a station and just get whatever you want instead. Different varieties of coffee here as well.
Absolutely amazing choice of sensational food. Great prices for substantial food and friendly welcoming service. Well worth a visit if you’re hungry and you will not be disappointed. This Englishman in New York was well impressed.
Its very busy. But the food options are excellent. Every thing looks fresh and brightly colored. Something for every taste. The wait time is good. Very well maintained, very clean and neatly organized. I go there every time I am in the area.
Wonderful, fast in & out place with lots of options. Clean, lots of folks to service quickly. Highly recommend their omelette and avocado toast station. Have small space for dine-in as well.
Staff and owner were very nice and friendly. Good food for a fair price.
Absolute hidden gem of a place in the heart of New York! I go here every day and their assortment of fresh food. The chef's specials, and buffet specials are amazing. Very good prices too.
Yo as far as a midtown deli goes in the city, this is what you’re looking for. It’s consistent, tasty and fast. Not sure what else you need. They’ll make you nervous when ordering but we love that. :)
I get breakfast here and it is always great! I also get my French vanilla cold brew and love it. Prices for coffee are great as well.
Best buffet. I was even say it was a bit upscale as far as food choices go. It is a not pricey, but worth it.
My go-to place when I want a quick and cheap meal Midtown. The food is always tasty and they've got a diverse buffet in addition to soups, salads and other food stations.
I actually decided to check out Delmonico because of a encounter I had with one of it's employee's by the name of Lynn. He stands at the corner of 42nd and Lexington with a very positive attitude letting passersby know of the low cost food options available to them and "directions are free" Lots of food options there both to be made to order and an option to load up at their buffet. I will defiantly visit again.
I had a weird/bad experience with a sandwhich. Went back in and the manager (maybe owner?) said "say no more. Get whatever you want" These people understand food, business and human decency. I'll be back!
We have used Delmonico several times for catering corporate meetings of various sizes and have been very happy with customer service, quality/quantity of the food, and presentation. With time sensitive deliveries—we especially appreciate how flexible they’ve been with customization, and their punctuality. Would definitely recommend them to others. As an aside—they are able to accommodate a number of dietary restrictions including gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free. They may be able to do more on an as-needed basis, but these were the handful we specifically inquired after and had positive experiences with.
Wonderful deli. Salad bar. Old school New York style deli with reasonable prices and excellent food options. They will make you a sandwich, an omelette, a salad, pasta, a shake or just get a cup of regular coffee. Not many of these left. If you need a reasonable place to eat, they are friendly and I have seating.
Great place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Wish it showed up when I search for breakfast. I would have came in starting 2 months ago!
The buffet here offers a nice selection of both hot and cold food. But you can also order from a menu. This place also has various individual items displayed for purchase. It is almost like a restaurant, deli, and small grocery combined. And it is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan near such attractions as Grand Central Terminal, the New York City Public Library, and Times Square to its west, and the United Nations to its east. On June 20, 2018 I enjoyed a tasty selection of fresh fruit from the cold buffet and mixed vegetables from the hot buffet. The regular price of $10.95 per pound is probably reasonable by New York City standards. And, you can mix the hot and cold stuff. But between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. the buffet is half price. And that's when I visited. I enjoyed a large heaping plastic tray of food (over two pounds) for less than $12. The average eater would probably enjoy a smaller portion. On a future visit, I'd like to try one of their Smoothies (about $5) or a veggie burger. You can take out food to go or eat at one of the tables in the restaurant. Since I am seeking to adhere to a vegan diet, I was pleased with the items on the buffet that appeared to be vegan. New York City is blessed with a huge variety of restaurants at a wide range of prices. But of the few I tried, I rank this one the best.
One of my favorite lunch spots. There are so many options...if you are feeling for pasta, they have it. Thai...they have it. Salad.....they have it. Sandwich....they have it. Sushi....they have it. The food is freshly prepared in front of your eyes. If you have a sweet tooth...they have the goodies. Coffee or tea....they have it. They also have a large "self serve" buffet....both hot and cold foods. They have a "self serve" soup station as well with different soups daily. They have EVERYTHING. The staff is friendly too. You can sit in or take your food to go. Decent pricing. You should definitely give this place a try.
Got a roast beef hero today. Organized line with multiple guys making your sandwiches. I asked if I could get some Dijon in addition to horseradish and the guy unironically said no, lmao. Said my sandwich was too big already and that it wont fit haha…and that the horseradish was too good to mess up with other flavors. He was right. He put loads of roast beef on and tore off a piece and handed it to me to eat there. Delicious quality, so red. He held the hero up in the air to show me how fat it was, packed it, handed me it and said here u go papi. God I love New York sometimes
Awesome customer service and quality food. The quesadillas are to die for. I recommend everything here. The cold and hot buffet offer a wide selection. It is hard to pick what to eat because everything looks good. Fruits and vegetables are always fresh. I have to say that I had the best fruit salad EVER. Sometimes pricey, but definitely worth it.
Must eat here! Best breakfast place in the city! The lox and bagels are great here and my wife loves to come here and get her over easy eggs on a kaiser roll. They have everything you could think of eating. Fresh food, clean place, fast service, excellent customer service. The owner, Paul, is always around to greet you and stand behind this great place to grab a bite to go or to just sit and relax.
Where to begin. This place is spectacular. Do I want breakfast? lunch? salads? italian food? This place has it all. Not only does it offer a generous selection but the prices are cheap for the amount of food you recieve. The staff is always upbeat and make great conversation while you are waiting. Seriously some of the best food I’ve eaten in New York. It’s also conveniently located next to Grand Central Station which makes for the perfect breakfast/lunch on the go!!! I highly recommend this place!!!
This is hands down the best place to get lunch in midtown and one of my favorite hot food bars ever. The food is always fresh, the options are always varied, and the price is very reasonable. The omelette bar is my favorite!
If you're in midtown and need food on 5he go, you MUST go here. Period. The staff are assembly line quick with all freshly made orders! The place is VERY CLEAN (unlike what you'd expect from a normal large deli thst offers buffet)...and the manager is the friendliest fella on the planet, he's always by the entrance greeting ALL customers....ALWAYS!
Best and reasonable catering! Amazing quick grab and go midtown breakfast/lunch/smoothie/iced coffee place.
My Favorite place in the city for lunch. The food there is "Too Good". I could eat there every day and never get bored. There is a great variety of food and everything is fresh, outstanding service and the place is very clean. So if you are near Grand Central Station checking this place out is a must!
Christmas music, a friendly smile and greeting at the door, a helpful cook who offered suggestions on what to put in my omelette. Awesome experience and not at all what I expected when I walked into a midtown establishment right before a stressful meeting!
I was taken aback by the friendliness of the staff! I would've rated 5 stars even if I didn't buy from here. But I did; food is delicious and fresh! Price is great given the area. Highly recommend!
From Queens NY.. And a simple breakfast Bacon egg and cheese on a roll was given with salt pepper ketchup but asked as the we'll do it instead of giving you packet.. Made my day before I came back for the buffet.. Best.. Every place that has a buffet is nice but.. This joint will always shine. I get frugal with the weight of everything I'm getting.. And I swear I'll be back for the other treats they have.. I have been back for their half off after 3..
The buffet here has a good variety and the prices are reasonable. If you want to eat in, the seating space is a bit cramped, but there's enough space, even at busy times. Don't be put off by the long line at the registers; they have a lot of registers open, and the line moves very quickly. Everything in the buffet is half-price after 3:30pm.
Food over all was great and so was the staff. Place is small and can get right but well worth it. It's not that the seating is packed tight together it's just when the place gets busy the line is right by the seats
Visited during Restaurant Week and participated in their $60 pre set menu. I enjoyed a lovely salad a small filet mignon, with potatoes and a heavenly dessert. Not sure I would’ve chosen this restaurant outside of restaurant week, as prices are pretty high and my meal would’ve cost about double, but I would say it was one of the best meals I had in NYC.
What magic place is this? So welcoming and cozy, so many options and a delicious warm and cold buffet. Great pit stop out of the Cold, to then sit undisturbed at a table and enjoy your food, without the typical burn and turn pressure from Restaurants. The people are friendly and helpful, there’s a lively and humorous atmosphere and just Good vibes 🙌
Stopped in for lunch. Could not decide. Got an awesome made to order sandwich. Huge and delicious!!
Wow, my husband and I were obsessed with this place. Stumbled upon it on our first day in New York, had lunch here twice now on our trip. After 3:30 all the buffet goes half price. Amazing selection of food.
This is my go to place in the mornings. The owner, Paul, is the nicest guy. You can tell he treats his staff well because they’re always smiling and seem genuinely happy to be there. Some have been there for years. The food is great too. Fresh and prepared to order. Great coffee, and they don’t charge extra for non-dairy milk. Highly recommend this place for the friendly environment and good food!
The owner and staff are so friendly here. I love the healthy choices at the buffet on the cold side, with plenty of lean proteins and fresh seafood! I’m always impressed with the selection and freshness, by far my favorite weekday spot for a quick healthy lunch.
I went here with a couple of friends, and was treated to a fairly decent meal. We came across this place quite by chance. While walking in Manhattan, we were looking for a place to eat that had a seat for each of us free. We spied Delmonico from across the street, and despite construction in the area, we made our way in. There were a couple of food stations and walls limited with drinks. There were plenty of side snacks scattered throughout. Our meals were very pleasant (we each had a sandwich). The prices were not absurd in so far as city pricing goes, and the selection was borderline overwhelming. I'll deffinatly go back here next time I'm in town.
Very reliable and affordable lunch place in Midtown East. I usually split meals between stir fry and this amazing avocado toast with ricotta, walnuts, berries, and honey. Honestly, I hesitate to post for fear of stirring up demand for this bad boy. There are around one million other items you can snag her as well so if avocados and stir fry are not your thing, they likely have your thing here. The service is exceedingly fast as well. Enjoy.
Today's visit made up for the last one where the buffet wasn't that great. Shrimp teriyaki was today's lunch and it was perfect. 9.50 and you can choose your rice and veggies, can't really beat that in midtown! They have other food stations so there is plenty variety. I frequently go here and will continue to do so.
Decent selection of food on the hot bar, which is half price after 4:30pm. But don't expect it to be fresh at that time.
I can only speak to their hot buffet, but its a good place for a quick lunch. Large space with a great variety of food options.
Very clean and awesome food quality. But they close 7:00 pm. I go there very often for lunch.
They have everything salad bar, deli, salad, sushi, and more. All the food is fresh and the staff are nice.
Went to this place a lot for lunch and decided to go see how they are during dinner. Not only do they NOT match the closing hours of what it says on their site and on other review sites, which is 5 PM on a weekend which means I would never have had the chance to go there for dinner anyway, but it must've been a recent change, because Google Maps shows that they close at 2:30 PM! During a weekday, NOW their hours are 6 AM to 2:30 PM! Clearly they intended to cut off service during dinner all together! Which would be okay if only if it weren't for the fact that 1. it means they are going to close within the year, and 2. the word "dinner" IN ENGRAVED ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING ENTRANCE! WHICH THEY DID NOT BLOCK!!!!
well, i haven't seen their underground kitchen, but i have seen the guys and talked to the guys behind the counter almost every day for a year, and i find it really hard to believe that they would be so friendly and still serve me gross things with my salad. i love that they have fruit on hand, the manager is always present and talking to folks, and i'm well-impressed with it's cleanliness in comparison to surrounding delis that shall go unnamed. also love the space to eat - very impressed with this deli.
I am absolutely in love with this place. I cannot comment on their meals as I have not had one but they have a gigantic selection. I imagine that if you didn't know what to have for lunch, you could wander around until you found whatever it is you wanted. Now onto the best part of my internship.. the oatmeal at Delmonico's that I get almost every day before my shift! $2.99 for a big tub of oatmeal and you can fill it with whatever you want. They have oatmeal made with water, oatmeal made with milk, grits, and I think even cream of wheat. For toppings they have dried raisins, dried cranberries, nuts and they even have bananas and apples cooked in brown sugar. The cashiers at the front don't even open the containers and I don't know if I'm breaking the rules or whatever but I even put some fresh blueberries up in my oatmeal. I am very, very sneaky sir. I've haven't tried the hot breakfast food line but the scrambled eggs and bacon always look delicious. The owner/manager greets everybody that walks in with a sincere and friendly smile. He must have seen the lost look in my eyes the first time I walked in because he came right over to ask what it was I was looking for. Three days later he still remembered my order. That's fantastic customer service since they have maybe 1000 people walk through their doors in one day. And if you thought it couldn't get any better, this place is efficient. I never spend any more time there than I need to and I pay probably the most reasonable prices here. ($2.50 for a large iced coffee! Their large is bigger than a venti at sbucks) At every internship I grow attached to a local spot. This time it'll be Delmonico's.
This is a really solid lunch option near Grand Central. Hot bar, made-to-order sandwiches/salads, udon/ramen, teriyaki bar, pasta bar, hot soups...the options are virtually endless. I've been here a handful of times and have yet to have a bad experience.
NICE PLACE FOR A QUICK AND NOT TOO PRICEY BITE FOR LUNCH.SEATING AND PUBLIC RESTROOM MAKE THIS PLACE BETTER THAN OTHERS IN THE VICINITY. HALF PRICE BUFFET STYLE SALAD BAR WITH HOT FOOD AS WELL AFTER 4 UNTIL 8PM.
Paul is very welcoming as you enter, but the hot buffet price stings a little at $8.49/lb. Sushi, salads, sandwiches and quesadillas might be a better bet for your wallet. On a good day, you might stick around long enough to get a homemade chocolate chip cookie.
Why do they close so early? I woulda went to this place many more times after work if they were open. Makes zero sense there is so much foot traffic here so why close at 5? They should be open till 8pm at least
Their coffee is very good and inexpensive. Great food selection. The Chefs/Cooks can be a little more patient considering the customers are PAYING for what they ask for. Their lack of patience has caused them to mess up my order a few times. The cashiers are always friendly. Large eating area.
The buffet is a bit pricey $14 a pound but the food is absolutely delicious. This is my go to daily when working. Clean, fresh food, friendly staff and they move very fast when making your food and when on line to pay.
Delmonico is a great place for breakfast and lunch. They have hot and cold buffets, and various food stations depending on what you want to eat, from create your own salad to create your own pasta bowl. The soups are delicious. The lines move quickly. The buffet bar is a bit too pricey for me. But overall, prices are reasonable.
They have a very large variety of foods with reasonable pricing (although I think the buffet is on the pricey side). There's a area that has coffee and tea, Sushi, Asian Noodles, Bagels, Sandwiches, Salad and buffet bar. I find it amazing they can keep the place humming with so many different kinds of foods, but they do have a lot of workers to keep the machine running. They definitely know what they're doing.
They cover the food spectrum. Slightly above price but worth it as the flavors and selection hit the mark. Plus from 4-7 it's half of the hot/cold food buffet. So roll in there and grab a plate to go for dinner or lunch the next day.
One of the best food markets of this type I have been to. This place is huge. Every turn you make brings you to a new section: asian food, salads, sandwiches, etc. the ready made food had dishes that I have never seen such as jerk chicken, eggplant parmesan, curry chicken. Quick check out as well.
The Best deal, $5 a pound after 4. The best best fresh food at Delmonico, I buy food for several days. They offer a wide variety of hot and cold buffets. They also have the Asian corner, burritos an Quesadillas, sushi, pasta, soup & salads. You can get drunk on the selections of drinks, teas & coffees. They have the Fruits!
Basically the food is okay, but they need to stop with the teriyaki on every thing everyone don’t like sweet food.
I come to Delmonico here and there because its right downstairs from the office. There are a bunch of "gourmet" food markets in the area, and Delmonico just seems to be another. Inconsistent prices on sandwiches though. I've paid $7 one day for a sandwich, and $6 a different day for the SAME sandwich. I would think that they'd at least be consistent on prices, but I guess that's left for another day to resolve. As far as things to eat, there are tons of choices here. From two hot bars that have tons of selections, to hot/cold sandwiches, to salads and sushi, this place has it all. My personal favorite thing to get here is the chicken parm sandwich. For $7.95, you get 3 large pieces of chicken parm, wrapped nicely in a hero. I've gotten this multiple times, and I think it's probably the best sandwich they have here. I've also had the meatball sub, which was decent, but not incredibly filling. The sub came with 4 meatballs inside, which are home made. There are peppers, seasoning, and other goodies inside that help give it a nice taste. This definitely is home made because you can't get this anywhere else. For cold sandwiches, they are pretty much the same as anywhere else. Throw in your cold cuts, put on some cheese and mayo, and there you go. Go here or Whole Foods, it's pretty much all the same in the end. Sushi here is not bad, but not incredible as well. Just be prepared to come in with low expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised. This place is a decent spot to grab lunch. I don't hate it by any means, but I don't fiend for it either.....well maybe just the chicken parm sandwich. Pfizer employees also get a discount here so don't forget to show your badge!
Hot food here is okay but expensive. Some days the food is good, other days not so much. Ridiculously crowded at peak hours but there are plenty of cashiers so line moves fast
My coworker goes here at least twice a week for sushi. She's always disappointed when they run out of spicy tuna when she goes too late (after 2pm). The hustling chefs and cashier workers get you in and out in fewer than five minutes. Can't beat that for a Midtown lunch.
Yet another deli in the heart of midtown. The place has pretty decent food. All of it is fresh and there are a metric-ton of options here. It is slightly on the pricey side for what you get, but its delicious and I think worth the cost. It can get packed at lunch time, so you may have to wait a few minutes on lines at each counter. Not too bad at all...
Same boring food selection at very high prices. Skip this place and visit some of the other better buffet around. Spacious seating area
7/12/21 - First visit post-pandemic. No complaints about the food, it was always good, a little pricey. However, a pannini that pre-pandemic was $9.00 is now $12.00, that's out of control. Very disappointed.
I got the hot food and was Not impressed at all. Not too many healthy options and very spicy. There were no names by the food so you could know what the food was. Also, the selection was limited. I was also Not impressed by the cost ($20) for this mediocre food.
The food is okay, but a bit overpriced. They also have a hard time keeping track of their own menu. Twice I have ordered a Philly cheesesteak and twice they have tried to serve it to me with American "cheese" on it. Per their own menu prominently displayed, it's supposed to have provolone on it. Based on their high prices, and less-than-stellar service, I don't think I will be returning.
This place looked so good for a late night deli. But the food was horrible. If you come here, please just buy prepackaged name brand snacks and drinks. I had the worst pepperoni roll (stromboli) of my life here. Also my friend got the sushi against my warning and ended up sick.
The food was great, but the credit card machine is located near the employee and she adds the tip herself if the customer forgets, since normally she just turns the machine, from a great distance, for contactless cards/mobiles. In my case, she added a $10 tip to a $19 bill. I made sure to complain and the manager saw through the cameras that I was right and refunded it, but it is a scam and illegal. My other colleagues also had tips added by the employee herself, but in smaller amounts, when none should have been charged.
Ordered their Thai chicken wrap, end result = 2 missing ingredients ( eggplant and blu sauce). The highlight is the chicken cutlet is as dry as the Sahara Desert. Paid $8.66 to and get garbage food. Avoid at all cause.
They threw away garbage bags full of pizza they could have given to a charity or something. Shamefully wasteful. Do better.
the food is good but some employees are rude. check your change all the time. i bought something for around $5 and gave the cashier $20. she shortchanged me. i told her i gave her $20, and she said i only gave her $10. she asked another guy to look at the security camera. the guy checks and said i gave her $20. had to wait in there for this BS. this is the second time it happened here. i will not let a third occurrence to happen. i will just go somewhere else.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, DECENT PRICES. The workers who make the sandwiches are rude. stood in line for about 15 mins before they even acknowledge me. They were talking and laughing among st themselves the whole time. when I was finally ready to order one of the workers snaps at me with an attitude about where I can place my order, Seriously ?!? SMH, I WALKED OUT WITH NO SANDWICH AND WENT TO Everyday Gourmet Deli if you value your money and respect DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
6am, I go to get breakfast, the deli workers see you standing there, they don't acknowledge you. The same deli workers when preparing your food, they using the same gloves that they use to handle boxes from the basement. To make matters worst, the cook, is handling a stack of American cheese, as I'm waiting for my breakfast, a small stack of American cheese falls onto the floor. The cook sees that I saw the cheese fall onto the floor, the cook leaves it there, and waits until I leave. While I'm standing on line to pay, the cook picks up the cheese from the floor and puts it back to be used as he is making breakfast. Never again will I go there for anything related to food. Disgusting.
EXTREMELY RUDE EMPLOYEE AND MANAGER, they are very disrespectful being that they like to yell at Customer if the employee says one price for a total transaction and then changes it because the tax is not included. Then they dare to apologize the person behind me because according to them you want to raise your voice. Then when you ask for an apology and ask for a Manager, He sides with his employee and ask you to leave..... Is this how you treat your customers? Being in the area of business that you are in...... i will review you in YELP, BBB and other sites for people to see this
My job always caters food from this place, it sucks every time, it’s like they make the food days before and deliver it. This most recent time my colleague and I had multiple bouts of diarrhea and GI distress immediately after consuming the catered lunch of salad, turkey clubs, and veggie wraps.
Beware! Watch closely if you go to the section where they make the egg sandwiches. - Today at 8 am, I ordered a BEC. - Someone handling a trash bag then started handing the order I requested. - They did this without washing their hands and without changing the one glove they had on. - This person had a glove on their left hand and no glove on the right. Both of which were touching a trash bag and then touching the food I requested. When I pointed this out, the person did not show remorse. Also, none of this person's coworkers informed him to wash his hands and to put on new gloves. This leads me to believe that this may be a normal thing for them to do. I declined the order and then left.
Updating review. Cashiers are STEALING from customers. Double check your charges and double check how much unlabeled things cost prior to going to the register. I come here regularly for lunch and it’s always been overpriced.. this time is the last straw. I purchased a sandwich and small bag of chips. The sandwich was 14 dollars clearly written on the wrapper. The cashier charged me 19 dollars. 5 dollars for a small bag of chips. I should contact my bank for a chargeback and contact the manager of the store. I will NOT be returning. Additionally the cashier did not give me a receipt.
I work in the restaurant industry and am so easy going I am baffled by how bad the service was and how frustrated I am. I never right reviews. This is my first. We had a 10:30pm reservation and we were super excited to go here. The experience was horrible. We sit down for 5min after getting our menus. Out server comes back to us and ask “are you ready?” We say “we are not ready for our drinks“ he says “we’ll the kitchen is closing so can you order food now” so we are easy going and rush to make a food decision. The whole dinner we feel rushed and are uncomfortable. We see tables getting sat at 11 and start to wonder why we are getting rushed. Toward the end of our meal we are waiting to order desert and the server comes and takes my drink before I’m done with it and doesn’t offer me another. We proceeded to wait 20min to get out check after being rushed through our meal. Our server then transfers our table to a different server and leaves. While we are still only waiting for the check! I am so annoyed I spent money at this place. Keep in mind the server did not talk to us at all. Worst experience of my life. P.S steak was a 3/10.
Price is ridiculously high for the small portions one grabs.
this place is so corrupt. they charge an extra 4% if you dont use cash but they dont tell you, worse, they intentionally never give you a receipt only if you ask then they try to not give you the itemized receipt showing this scam, the register shows you the price wo the 4% scam, so they are intentionally trying to trick you. These people have no shame.
I have been forcefully coming here for about 3 years, and I say forcefully because I work right around so there's not much quick options. Now the amount I pay for a VERY small buffet meal is outrageous. I just picked up a piece of lasagna not even the size of my hand and it turned out to be $15. FIFTEEN dollars. On top of that if you can only pay apple pay they also add a fee for that. So just imagine financially struggling with kids and having to pay $17 for something that wont even fill you up. The prices here are absolutely unfair. Moving forward i rather eat vending machine items, for $15 I can get 1 of everything in the machine.
Warning: Check Your Receipts Carefully! I am writing this review with a heavy heart, as I truly enjoyed the food here. However, I can no longer support this business due to a serious and concerning pattern of dishonest behavior. On two separate occasions, I was overcharged on my credit card. The first time, I initially dismissed it as a simple error. The second time, just recently, it was clear this was no mistake. It appears to be a deliberate act of theft. Adding to this, the business passes on its merchant fees to customers, charging an extra fee for anyone paying with Apple Pay or a credit card. I have zero tolerance for this type of deceptive practice. It's not about the money; it's about the lack of integrity and trust. Always check your transaction immediately, especially if you're using Apple Pay. Better yet, consider paying with cash to avoid any issues. It's truly a shame that I will no longer be a customer here. I cannot in good conscience recommend this business.
I walked in at 4:45pm. I started shopping I got 2 rice puddings. I went to the buffet... I packed a dinner for me in the take out container .... went to the counter to get my food weight on the scale and to pay... for the girl at the register to tell me it's 5:04 we are closed... so why the Hell did they let me walk around and shop ...to tell me we closed.... then I saw her dump the food I packed in the trash.... for that she should of gave me the food not the puddings.. for my pain and suffering.......
