Amazing cozy little open air French restaurant right near the ocean. Food is all incredible and very authentic, the escargots are a must order if you like them, also definitely the fresh lobster and the ravioli was delicious. Amazing service, super friendly and welcoming.

If you're reading this then you should definitely give this beautiful restaurant and team a try! We came here for a lovely dinner and got so much more than that. Our server was very personable and the owner was so kind. Everyone here made us feel comfortable and valued. We had the prix fixe meal with duck foie gras and tuna tataki as our appetizers - both were AMAZING 😍! For our main we had the triggerfish and the mahi mahi, which were both really good. For desert we had the hot chocolate profiteroles and the pistachio creme brulee which took us over the moon 😅! The whole dining experience was wonderful because of the great food and service. You should definitely give La Villa a try - you won't regret it 🔥!

La Villa Restaurant is the flag ship Restaurant in Grand Case, Saint Martin. The atmosphere is elegant, inviting and comfortable. Plenty of room for any size party. The French Creole architecture is truly amazing and beautiful! The open air dining at La Villa in Grand Case is the best! The terrazzo floor is amazing! A Restaurant is is only as good as the staff working there. The menu is extensive to satisfy anyone’s palate. (Enjoy!) La Villa staff is the best! They are there to guide you through your dining experience! Cedric, Juan Carlos, Florence and all the staff are extremely interested and helpful with all menu options. The cocktail and wine list are perfect for complementing your dinner selection. If you are lucky you might get Christophe, to assist you in your dinner selection. Christophe is a true ambassador to his home St. Martin. He will guide you through your dinner smooth and breezy with a sense of humor! Enjoy all your time at La Villa Restaurant. An exquisite dining experience in Grand Case. Located in a charming, historic building, the restaurant is very pretty inside. But the food steals the show. The prix fixe menu is a great deal, and I doubt you'll be disappointed by any of the multiple options. Everyone in our party of 4 had fish for their main course. Each preparation was different from the other, and they were all outstanding. The desserts were also marvelous. Service was very good, and everyone was friendly and cordial. Highly recommend for a dinner you won't soon forget.

One of the best meals I've ever had. The warm and genial service was only outmatched by the food, with each dish somehow better than the last. The eggplant and chevre appetizer might fly under your radar but don't miss it. The duck breast au poivre and rack of lamb were also superb, and the triggerfish was unforgettable. The ambience is charming and cheerful, and the staff were very accommodating of our young children.

The food, service, and ambience was excellent. The staff were very jovial, welcoming, and easy to work with. The food was well prepared and delicious. I was there with my wife, and two friends from New York. We all had a very good time.

A must visit in Grand Case. Expect a chic, comfortable, open window romantic atmosphere. Absolutely amazing service. Best rack of lamb on the island. Looking for pasta? The roasted sea scallops with Arrabiata Rigatoni can't be beat. When asked how we wanted our meals prepared, we requested "chef's choice," and our meals were cooked to perfection. You can trust the kitchen here. For desert, the popular recommendation is their homemade tiramisu, but the pistachio creme brulee was fantastic. Bringing out complimentary homemade infused rum shots at the end of dinner, along with our waiter being fun, knowledgeable, and excited about serving not only us but other guests, taking pictures of us without us requesting them, etc, was the chef's kiss. Pro tip: it's hard to find parking in this area, but La Villa offers valet parking...politely ask them when you arrive. They're only open after 5pm. Make reservations, you won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed the drinks and dinner, which were well-served by an efficient and friendly wait staff. Filled up to a nice ambiance. Location second-best on street side with no beach view.

Best meal we had on the island. So glad we made the trip to the French side. Please don’t miss this gem. Great atmosphere, Jaycee was amazing and funny and such a great server. Food and drinks are can’t miss.

Delighted to get a reservation on Valentine’s Night... great spot for an intimate meal, or even if you just enjoy great French cuisine! Greeted immediately the friendly owners, a wonderful experience all around!

This is probably the BEST french restaurant in the Island. In front of the restaurant they will park the car for you. The food is amazing. Had the best lobster bisque and the Angus as main course. My wife had the fish it was incredible. The chef is open to changes depending on dietary needs or allergies. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for fine dinning while still being casual. For families the restaurant is kids friendly. They even offer a highchair. It is so good we stayed for ten days and we ate here twice.

The warm and friendly staff were only surpassed by the food! Chilled cucumber soup, beef fillet cooked to perfection and pistachio creme brulee were all fantastic. Service was spot on, and they will surprise you with extras.

Lovely place for dinner; I absolutely intend on coming back on a future trip. It's really just got it all and it comes together in a perfect evening: A nice restaurant, but not too stuffy or pretentious. It's a cozy space with great service; it feels personal. The food is excellent. I love that it's open air to the street, with just enough activity outside to remind you that you're in Grand Case, but not at all loud and distracting. La Villa is just such an easy recommendation. I really don't think you can go wrong here.

This place was outstanding. Amazing wine list, impeccable service, food and presentation were top notch. The fillet is in my top 5 steaks and dishes I have ever had. The foire gras cream sauce was buttery and out of this world good.

One of the best restaurants I have been to on St. Martin. The food was really delicious! Also, the people working here are super friendly and (even though we were a bit late) you feel 100% welcome when you arrive at the restaurant. The restaurant is a bit more expensive than most of the restaurants on the island, but totally worth it when looking at the quality of food and service! You should definitely go here if you are searching for a restaurant where you are sure that the food will be amazing 😍

We had a perfect meal - you cannot beat the $54 price fixe menu that includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Everything that came out was delicious and the service was impeccable - efficient and incredibly friendly. I had the crab appetizer, triggerfish, and profiteroles.

The food and people are exceptional! Party of 5 and they nailed it. Scallops, escargot, Caesar salad, Duck, Lamb, filet and lobster ravioli were all delicious. And let’s not forget to mention the pistachio crème brûlée and profiteroles

This place was great! The staff are all very nice. I got the prix fix menu, started with the shrimp asparagus appetizer (very good, no complaints), main course was the steak special with morel mushroom sauce (the steak is just listed as "Angus" not Certified Angus Beef brand - it was some what tough to cut through and chewy, could use more marbling/better grade most likely), and the dessert I got was the ice cream trilogy ( I chose Carmel, mango, and rhum). We were also served a chilled soups appetizer as complements of the chef and bread for the table. The owners were working the entire night with the rest of the staff. Only giving 4 stars on the food because of the quality of the steak used by the chef.

There were several high-star restaurants we had to choose from in this area. We were super glad we chose La Villa. The food was amazing and the service was just as good. Highly recommend it. The seafood platter was amazing!

My husband and I have vacationed in Grand - Case many times but this was our first time back since Irma. It was obvious to me that much labor went into repairing this lovely restaurant. Everything inside looked beautiful and the people working there were warm and welcoming. We started our meal sharing the French Onion Soup, which was some of the best we have ever had. For our entrees, my husband had the Lamb Shank and I had the Shrimp Linguine. Both were beautiful presented and absolutely delicious. We ended our meal with a Pistachio Creme Brulee which thrilled me to no end. I love pistachio and I love creme brulee. The combination was perfect. Thank you La Villa for an amazing meal.

If we ever are back on the island, this will be our first reservation. Absolutely absurd service, from parking the car to taking pictures and everything after. This was the dream of a honeymoon dinner. Thank you for the most special dinner we've ever shared together.

Fantastic food and staff. My phone was dying and my charger was on the other side of the island, and the owner found a charger and plugged it in for me. The food was very good. Presentation was excellent. Ambiance was very nice. I did not think the restaurant was too dark, or too bright. I had tuna tataki, their special steak with morel mushrooms in a cream sauce. Both were excellent, and the steak was perfectly cooked medium rare with a nice sear. My friend had a shrimp linguine that was also very good. All in all, we were happy with dinner, were accommodated without reservations, and were treated as friends.

Dinner @lavillasxm was fantastic! The seared tuna was my highlight. That, and the people at the restaurant. The owner and the waiters. Totally recommended.

Oh my goodness! AMAZING! I would give 10 stars if I could. First and foremost, despite every table being full, our group of 5 felt like we were the only people in the place because the staff was so attentive. The restaurant felt both highly upscale, but so cozy at the same time. Right from the moment we walked in the door, everyone was wonderful to talk to, joked around with us often, and made excellent suggestions and recommendations. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and I could go on for hours about it, but truly, I will just say, if you can, this is a MUST if you visit St. Martin. The pictures I included are the Mahi-Mahi, and the pineapple crumble dessert. I suggest the valet parking, as parking can be hard to find. (You do have to retrieve your car yourself though)

La Villa was by far my wife’s and my favorite nicer restaurant during our entire trip. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. They also offer an excellent prix fixe menu at a very reasonable price which made it even better due to them offering a full three course meal. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of great flavor. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. There was even a waiter who should change his job to being a comedian as he was hilarious! His service was truly amazing. The drinks were also fantastic. Overall, La Villa exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. It's a wonderful spot for a special evening out!

We come to this restaurant at least 10 years - it is on our list of “ the must” to visit during our usual week long stay on the St. Martin. It is one of the best. And today it again proved its reputation . Amazing dishes, superb presentation. Their desserts - to die for. If you are on the island even for one day - you should book “La Villa” for exquisite French cuisine dinner

The food was amazing at La Villa! The restaurant was mostly empty as folks walked by to visit higher-end restaurants down the street, but I have little doubt that our food was superior. The goat curry was one of the best dishes I had on the island. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

Always one of our favorites. The food and service continue to be top notch, but the “vibe” has definitely changed. Florence and JC’s presence are definitely missed very much. They really brought life to the evening. The price fixe dinner is probably the best value in Grand Case. We will definitely be back next vacation, and hopefully get to know all the new staff a bit better.

Another year at Smx and Villa Restaurant again surpass our expectations. The food, service, and decor all the result of the pride the two owners clearly have for their resturant and care of the patrons. All staff are equally wonderful. Cannot say the same for Caraibes down the block.

Quaint French restaurant in Grand Case. The owners are present and involved with service. The atmosphere, food and service are great. One of the best places to eat in town.

Delightful meal for our family of four. The menu was exotic but approachable for the kids. Wine selection is excellent and the desert was par none.

Escargot, lobster puff pastry, triggerfish, Manhattans, old fashioned were wonderful. My mahi Mahi fish dish ..was soo tough and chewy mentioned it to the owner _& he just walked away.!!

Disappointing experience, with one remarkable exception La Villa is, at first glance, a charming little place. The space itself is pleasant — airy, not overcrowded, with enough room between tables to breathe. The fans create a sense of freshness, and even though the restaurant is not located directly by the water, it does not feel stuffy or oppressive. That part was genuinely nice. Unfortunately, the food overall left much to be desired. We were a group of five people, and apart from two dishes, nothing truly impressed anyone. The only items we all agreed were very good were the lobster bisque and the crab tartare — both excellent and well executed. Everything else we tried felt underwhelming and forgettable. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. There was no feeling of being welcome. The waitstaff appeared unpolished and inattentive, and the overall impression was not one of care or hospitality. Tables without tablecloths quickly showed spills and marks, and during the meal they were not properly cleaned, which made the experience feel untidy and uncomfortable. There was simply no sense of warmth or professionalism that makes you want to stay and enjoy your time. The cocktails were particularly poor. We tried several different ones, and all of them were of noticeably low quality — unbalanced, uninspired, and far below the standard we experienced elsewhere on the island. And then there was the dessert — the one truly outstanding part of the evening. Hats off to the pastry chef. The desserts were exceptional. The pistachio crème brûlée was the best I have ever had in my life, and the molten chocolate (lava) cake was absolutely perfect. Truly outstanding work. The pastry chef alone deserves the highest praise. If this had been our very first restaurant on the island, we might have thought, “Well, perhaps this is normal here.” But having already experienced exceptional dining and service at places like La Cigale and Ocean 82, where both food and hospitality are on an entirely different level, the contrast was impossible to ignore. After those experiences, we honestly just wanted to leave. The only reason I would return to La Villa would be for the desserts alone. The pastry chef exceeded all expectations — everything else, unfortunately, did not.

I save this restaurant for my last night here in Grand case. My buddy and I were both somewhat disappointed in our food. It wasn't bad it just was sort of ordinary. He had a caesar salad. I had a chilled soup. We both ordered the special wahoo medallions. With some passion fruit sauce. Just sort of bland not very exciting. Oh well next time LOL

This place was a huge disappointment. Our mains (chicken and mahi) were completely unseasoned and a little overcooked. I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a French restaurant that used no butter or seasoning in food that desperately needs it. We liked the wine we picked and the soups were just okay. Definitely would not go back.

Food was very good but be very careful when you go to pay. The waiter added extra tip than what we had asked and our bill was more than expected. This rubbed us the wrong way and put a damper on the evening.
