We eat here pretty regularly and its always good. Quick service and large portions.

Texas Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat in Greenville! Their breakfast omelets are amazing, and they will customize your order to please you! The service is very attentive to their diners needs. ENJOY!

Cute little diner. Friendly staff. Home cooked taste. My grilled cheese was perfect. My husband loves the 2am chicken and waffles. It's like a giant waffle taco with chicken strips inside. Daughter enjoys her meals as well. Everything we've had so far has been great.

This place is sooooo good! We have went 2 weekends in a row for Breakfast. Weekend mornings you may have a little bit of a wait (15-30 minutes) but it is worth the wait. Can’t wait to try it out for Lunch.

I have eaten at Texas Café diner, many times. I really enjoy the Texas Berry Waffle, hash browns and bacon. My only wish would be that they had a meal that included options beyond just the waffle. It can get expensive to order the waffle, then separately, each a side of hashbrowns and a side of bacon. I usually see others at the table. Want to share it with me because it is too much food getting it all separate sides. The wait staff is really busy and so they are not as attentive as I would like. In fact, when I was there today, I had to ask for an additional napkin from two different people and wait five minutes to actually receives a napkin. This will not stop me from coming here to eat, though the food is great.

The biscuits and gravy were the most delicious I have ever eaten. This has become my breakfast spot after an amazing experience with both the food and service.

We had a unique experience in that we needed a spot to film our indie film at, and they graciously let us sneak in one Sunday afternoon and even stay after close. We ordered food, which was absolutely so delicious. Everyone on their staff was incredibly kind and bright and bubbly. Ate here on Friday, October 25 around 11:30 AM. We were able to grab a seat quickly, but the place was 90% full. Our orders were taken quickly and drinks were served to us promptly. I ordered the Montecristo and it did not disappoint. If you remember Bennigan’s back in the day, this is that same Monte Cristo sandwich. It was extraordinarily awesome! My wife had the chicken and waffles and it was a lot of food. It was also very good and we took some home with us. We made it out of there for around $25.

We were in town for a family celebration and decided to stop at this little cafe. We were seated right away, scouring the menu we decided to have breakfast during lunch. Chivo our amazing server made some recommendations and we ended up splitting this delicious order of banana/Nutella crepes, with a side order of eggs and bacon. Chivo was attentive the entire time making sure our food came out hot and fast. If I’m ever in this area again I’d definitely stop by and try their lunch/dinner.

If you're looking for a place that cooks your meals for you, you've found it. Good food at very reasonable prices. They prepare what we cook at home, with not a whole lot of seasoning or preparation. That's either good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. They have some good meal options no matter when you go, but all will be comfort food that is reliable, nothing will reach that wow factor or redefine your palate.

My husband and I love doing brunch or breakfast and up to now we loved going to IHOP cheap and tasty right? Well not anymore. Texas Cafe Diner is DELICIOUS. From the egg Benedict's to the chicken fried chicken. We left so full and happy because everything was amazing! It was packed and they sat us in less than 15min and took our order. The servers were really nice and attentive. Also let me tell you about those pancakes! Wow! LOVE!! This is our new favorite spot in Greenville and we will definitely come back and taste more of their food!! Thank you Texas Cafe for a wonderful experience!!

Great place for breakfast after church or any day. Staff is friendly, greets you with a smile and service is outstanding. Young staff and they move fast and efficient. My waitress Ashley P was prompt and courteous, going table to table and making sure everything was looking and tasting good. Food wise is delicious and a very reasonable price. I had the Diner Skillet with over easy eggs and it was delicious I could've had two. Definitely recommend.

The Husband’s and I decided to grab breakfast this morning! We were greeted with friendly smiles from the staff! Our server Aylssa, was amazing. The services was top notch, coffee was nice and hot & the service was quick even through the breakfast rush. The spicy chicken sandwich was amazing and the Chicken Salad sandwich was so delicious! This place is amazing!

If you're paying attention you'll find a hidden country cookin' gem called the Texas Cafe y'all! It was packed for a Friday lunch and for good reason, the crispy hash browns, gourmet salads, a scrumptious sandwich selection, and incredible breakfast fare including the huevos rancheros which I highly recommend. It includes pulled pork, is topped with two eggs, an amazing sauce, a little feta cheese and cilantro to make it just perfect! Stopped in again on July 24th 2023. Another wonderful experience. I always stop there when I'm leaving Greenville. My Dr. is there an Texas Cafe has a pretty good breakfast selection. The waitresses are always friendly and my coffee ☕ cup is never empty.

Great place for breakfast and lunch! We had a good lunch, and the breakfast items looked so great, we need to go back! We tried the Buffalo Chicken Salad and the Cuban Panini with a side salad. Both salads were really fresh and delicious, and the Cuban was savory and on-temp. Excellent service.

This was our 3rd time to try this place out, bc there has been a line out the door the other two times. Understandable since it's new in town, but the food was served very quickly, pipping hot, and very delicious. My only complaint is that the parking lot is tiny, so you will probably have to park next door and walk over, and our waitress said the ow ers next door will come out yelling if you park there. Other than that we had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more items off the large brunch menu.

Ohhhhh my goodness, this place has fantastic food! Raylee is so friendly and had really great suggestions, I hope you go there while she is working! There was no wait, we did go around 4:30pm, so there was some people but it wasn't packed and so you could have a decent conversation.

The spicy chicken sandwhich is heaven! And the wait staff does not disappoint! Friendly as can be. (But Raylee and Emma are my favorite! Shhh!) It was our first time in, we got on the list and only had about a 10-15 minute wait to be seated, which is a really good wait time for a Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the restaurant is small but it doesn’t feel cramped; Service was quick but not at all rushed! We ordered the chilaquiles and the migas, the chilaquiles was delicious, they were accommodating of my food allergy by puting the egg on the side when asked. I added chicken instead and it was just as good, 10/10 would order this again in the future! The salsa verde was so flavorful with just a hint of sour to it that really balanced well with the sour cream and feta cheese.

You may have to park at Atwood's next door, but it's worth it! I won't be satisfied till I try everything on the menu, but every now so far has been so so delicious!

My fiance, son, and myself went for breakfast and it was amazing! The wait staff was friendly and worked as a team. The food was hot, seasoned well, and good sized portions. We didn't have to ask for refills on drinks and we were checked several times to make sure we were good and if we needed anything. We haven't made it back yet but we definitely will!

recently had the pleasure of dining at Texas Cafe Diner in Greenville, Texas, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of delightful. Upon entering the diner, I was immediately greeted and promptly seated at a cozy booth. Faced with the challenge of choosing from the wide variety of delicious options on the menu, I decided to indulge in a bit of everything. My order consisted of chicken fried steak with eggs over easy, grits, a pancake topped with strawberries, and a side of biscuits and gravy. To my surprise and delight, they also serve Segafredo coffee, which was of higher quality than the coffee at most cafes and diners I've visited. The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection, boasting a golden and crispy exterior with a pleasing texture. The biscuits were light and fluffy, featuring a slightly grilled or broiled golden brown top. The pancakes were incredibly airy and delectable, leaving me thoroughly impressed. My personal favorite combination was the chicken fried steak and eggs, paired with the scrumptious biscuits and gravy. Overall, my dining experience at Texas Cafe Diner was exceptional, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delicious and satisfying meal.

A Texas favorite chicken fried steak is fairly a crowd pleaser, yet so many places service a somewhat less than fair steak, with gravy and mashed or French fries, toast, and a drink. Today, I had a fairly good-sized chicken fried steak with the gravy, fries, toast,and a drink. Being a butcher by trade, I know my cuts. This was an excellent grade of tender cutlet, breaded and fried perfectly, with great tasting fries and wife had a side order of mashed red potatoes with gravy and biscuits. Definitely not overly done, just well preparation of a flavorful simple, yet favor Texas dish.

This place was great, the food was delicious and the service was good. The only thing that made us a little irritated was the fact that it’s a smaller diner and the gentleman sitting across the room from us felt the need for everyone to know his conversation. This was definitely no fault of the place itself. I would definitely go back if in the area.

This was my first visit. The restaurant itself, the food and the service were all great. The portion sizes were even great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it was surprisingly more expensive than I thought it would be. Then again, so is every other place these days.

I barely moved to the area and was eager to find a new breakfast spot. This place is a strong contender. I ordered a standard breakfast, w eggs, bacon, buscuits, and pancakes. I also ordered a side of cheesy grits. Everything was really good with the exception of the grits, although the server did warn me they tend to be flavorless, but I wanted to experience it for myself. The pancakes were good, best part of the meal. The lunch options there looked delicious as well. Will definitely try this place again.

Honestly this place has delicious food! The only reason I chose 4 stars, is solely on the size. It's definitely busy and LOUD here. Don't expect to talk in a normal tone. It went from 5 people to 35 in less than half an hour. I was astonished! The crepes were well cooked. I'm other establishments I notice they're gummy and undercooked. These were not. The added touch of cream inside was delicious, but after the 2nd one I tapped out. A little on the sweeter side for me. My kids loved their food. They thought the Mickey mouse waffles were cute. This place reminds me of a cozy little nook in the corner. The menu was full to the brim with breakfast and lunch items. You'll never have to eat the same thing twice!

When I walked in I wasn't greeted by anybody. Is around 8:30 when I walked in and there were plenty of seats available. The waitress who eventually served me didn't tell me her name but she did tell me that she was a manager when I was done with my meal. The food was fantastic! The Denver Omelette was really tasty and you could tell it had fresh ingredients but it lacked cheese. The shredded hash browns had good flavor but could have been cooked a little more. I had two issues; the butter was in small little containers like you see at any other restaurant. After I ate my meal, the "manager" told me that they do offer butter in a small cup. She didn't provide me with that option. If you need syrup, be careful picking up the glass dispenser because it'll give you a first degree burn on your fingers. The overall restaurant is well planned out and clean. Just enough to decor on the walls to keep your interest but not overwhelming. The bathrooms are small. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, the food was excellent, but I think they need to work on their customer service skills. I give this a grade of B+.

I was told that the corned beef and hash was scratch made in house, but it definitely tasted and looked exactly like the canned version that I make at home. All of the other food at the table was good.

Soup way too salty, gravy on cfshad way too much celery salt and the meat had an odd greasy flavor to it. Salad and mashed potatoes were good. Staff was quick and friendly but two girls were moving the table and benches on one side and cleaning everything from light shades to mopping. At least we knew it was clean but would have preferred not while we were eating next to all that

I can’t say whether or not all the food is amazing or not. I got the steak and eggs and two pancakes with biscuits and hash browns. The steak was decent, I wanted medium rare and it came out well-done. I have a long trip home so I was not going to get it remade. The pancakes were also decent, I have had better but the eggs were good, the french toast looked really good and my buddy said they were amazing. With how busy they were, the food came out pretty quick and the waitresses were attentive and patient which was nice. Thank y’all for the food.

Food came out quickly, was delicious. The latte was massive, but the salmon portion was extremely small for the price. Had the server pass along the message we were disappointed to the manager and they told us the manager said the salmon prices vary due to the market. Pictured below is the salmon that came with 2 sides for $17. Overall food was good, server was good. Unfortunately that experience wasn't good.

Came in because we wanted to try some local places, which is always a gamble. The joint's located in an old Pizza Hut building. They did a nice job remodeling the space. The hostess and server were great. Boss Lady ordered the "special" chilequiles and I the huevos rancheros. Her's was good but lacked salt. Had an order of plane crepes, which were just Okay. Mine was really tasty with the pork being crispy and flavored well. Odd thing is that the tortillas were very crispy, like for a tostada. I asked for the hash browns to be extra crispy, which they were. Big problem for us is that they don't have actual creamer nor butter. We're not into highly processed, fake food. Everything was really tasty but if they don't have the real things at the table, what are they using in the kitchen?!?! We'll check back at a later date to see if there's been any change.

I have been excited to try this place for awhile, but left very disappointed. I ordered the chicken fried steak, fries and okra. The CFS had absolutely no flavor. It was very tender, cut with just a fork. The meat, breading, and gravy had no seasoning. The okra was gooey, not fried long enough. The fries were the best thing on my plate. My mother had the strawberry spinich salad with grilled chicken. Once again, the chicken had no flavor. The salad was to have a strawberry vinaigrette for a dressing, but it had no flavor. The staff was attentive and kind. The restaurant is surprisingly loud when busy. Watching others while eating, several tables were also reaching for their salt and pepper.

Great service and the worst "sausage "gravy ever. Bland milk gravy with one nugget and two crumbs of sausage with no seasoning what so ever, wasn't appetizing. A big hunk of my toast was missing too, but it was the bottom slice, kind of hidden under the top slice. Where did it go? Why was it gone? Such a disservice to the restaurant that it was even served. Obviously the cook doesn't care about the food or presentation, or taste for that matter. That's a shame that one person, or more can damage a restaurant's reputation and public opinion. Thankfully I don't go to Greenville often and I am in no hurry to go eat there again.

We waited there for 10 minutes and all the waiters walked around us not one stoped to take our order and the proceeded to do a “one man” job all together ! Definitely would not recommend!

Stopped in for breakfast for the first time and tried the omelet and hash browns. Worst omelet Ever and hash browns barely cooked. 13$ for breakfast and only could eat the biscuit. Won’t be back.

I write this with a heavy heart. I almost never write bad reviews because I know that small businesses need community support. However I need to write about our experience today for breakfast. The restaurant was clean and the decor is friendly but the food was absolutely horrible. We ordered an omelette and it was terrible, and the hash browns were completely undercooked and cold. My wife could only eat a biscuit and I had a few bites of the omelette and could not, would not eat the hash browns at all. The staff was okay but never followed up with us about our food whatsoever. Overall I feel as if our money was stolen from us because of the poor quality of the food. We will never return. If the owner or manager would like to discuss this with us we will do so.

My steak had no season not even salt and pepper it was so gross and my salad had to be split in half due to them putting the bottom of the head of lettuce I was not happy for having to spend 16 plus for this meal not worth the money
