BRU Burger Bar - Greenwood

We sat at the bar and savanna was helpful from the get go. She had great recommendations on the drinks and appetizers. Food can out on a very timely manner. Would definetly be back.

We went in late this past Friday evening and we were lucky to get a seat at the bar. There were plenty available as it was after 8pm. Our service provided by Caitlin c , Savanna, and Olivia was stellar! We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them. Our food and drinks were fantastic as well. We will be back. I know it’s a little pricey but the portions are large. Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff too!

My husband and I were first timers at Bru in Greenwood, IN. The food was excellent! I had ordered the teriyaki salmon sandwich with fries and their steamed veggies with a light buttery flavor taste was spot on. Our server MATT was even more excellent. If you are to visit this location ask for MATT. His customer service attitude was unmatched. If I was to vote I would select him as employee of the month. Thank you MATT for your service!! Because of MATT we will show our face in place again.

I've been there a few times and had a great experience. Mariana is an excellent server. Never had to wait for anything. Food came out hot and was delicious.

The new Bru Burger in Greenwood is amazing! We sat at the bar and the staff were incredible! Savannah, Caitlin C. and Micah were so sweet and gave the best service! The food was great and came out exactly how we ordered.

This was our first time visiting BRU Burger at the Greenwood location, and I was impressed! The food was incredible I ordered the garlic cheese burger, and it might honestly be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The fries were fresh and crispy, and that house-made ketchup was a good touch. Our server Kaelynn was super friendly and made us feel right at home. She checked on us often without being overbearing, and got everything out fast even though the place was pretty busy. The vibe of the place was good, modern but comfortable, ideal for a casual night out.

I traveled all the way up from Louisiana and wanted to have a date night with my wife and son. Ms. Kate (with the tattoos) :) was out server and this company must have went through a 1000 people before they though this diamond. Ms. Kate was extremely professional and friendly and her knowledge and service was absolutely top notch. The food was amazing and prepared absolutely perfect and made fresh! Me and my wife will be back. 🥰🥰🥰 When I move up there I hope yall have her in a better position than a server cause if she was running at my business I’d be so proud to have her as the face everyone sees as my clients walk in. I don’t typically leave reviews but I came in on a Monday with a fairly large group, and even though I’ve been to Bru Burger several times before, this visit really stood out. Our server, Melissa, was fantastic, she handled our big party with accuracy and efficiency, and everything came out perfectly. Kaelyn was also great as well and super funny and great with the kids, which made the meal so much more enjoyable for us adults (LOL). The whole team seemed to work so well together, and you could tell everyone genuinely enjoyed being there. Excellent service and atmosphere all around.

Lucas Eberhart, who was hosting, was the star of our show. The moment we walked in he greeted us with a smile that lit up the room like the big bang lit up the universe. He expertly entered in our guest count and quoted us a wait time that we weren’t ok with… we were thrilled with it. Although he had never tried beer, his recommendations were impeccable. His choice of table for us was impeccable. The way he set the menus on the table was more graceful than any ballerina in history. I’ve met Chef Thomas Melvin, the BRILLIANT and VISIONARY chef behind the Cunningham Group’s BEST offerings, and I can honestly say that Lucas Eberhart impressed me far more. God bless you, Lucas.

Fantastic service! I did not realize I had selected multiple (beef and black bean) patties by mistake for each burger. The manager was smart enough to anticipate a possible error and make the burger with the black bean patty but had also packed the beef patties on the side to be safe. He checked with me and confirmed the order met my requirements upon pickup before I left the restaurant. Although, the manager said he would try to refund the extra payment I had paid since I did not pick up the beef patties, I did not anticipate anything and was just happy with the way the situation was handled. However to my pleasant surprise he followed up on his word and I got my refund 3 days later! Top notch customer service!

The staff were friendly and helpful! It was my first time at BRU Burger and the staff answered questions and gave great recommendations for food. One member of my party has a food allergy and the staff were great with assisting with an allergy friendly menu!

They have halal chicken breast which you can replace in any of their burgers from beef to chicken. We called them thrice to confirm and then paid a visit. Their burgers are so flavour packed and their BRU board app is to die for! The Southern was my favourite. The others liked Mexicali more.

We stopped by for a late lunch on 9.16.25. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and delicious! The double bacon burger definitely didn't disappoint and the onion rings were actually crispy! Their house made ketchup was so good we ordered extra! Service was attentive without being disruptive, which we appreciated. When the server overheard us wishing my dad happy birthday, she surprised him after our meal with a birthday card signed by the staff and a complimentary *outstanding* peach & white chocolate bread pudding! Not only was this a very kind gesture, it meant so much to our family. What our server didn't know is that we had just been to the hematology oncologist with my dad and learned that his leukemia is still in remission after a scare with lab results last week. We had lots to celebrate and the BRU crew Greenwood made our visit extra special! We will be back!

Attended today during lunch. We had never ate there , but was excited to try a new place. Our server was Kaylynn and she was awesome and precise . The burgers were amazing and came out quickly and hot. Will be eating there again during lunch with food and service like that.

We came here for dinner last night and sat at the bar. I had the salmon burger and it was outstanding. My husband had the cod sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The most enjoyable part of the whole experience was talking to both Sara and Micah. We also met the general manager. Who gave us a small history of the restaurant group. We will definitely be back.

Our server was kind and unflustered even with it being 5:30. She offered helpful suggestions when ordering. She brought us refills on drinks without us having to flag her down. The manager came to chat with us about our experience and was extremely kind. I was nervous about going in at this time of day, but it was great. We were seated, orders taken, and food brought out quite quickly. I usually make reservations for evening meals, and I probably will next time, but this was a spur of the moment dinner and it was great.

Savannah and Mika are awesome! Great personalities and very helpful making decisions! Always have a great experience when dining at the bar. Savannah’s fall cocktails are delicious! They are why we keep coming back.

We had a wonderful experience yesterday dinning in. Mitchell was an awesome server. He went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. Kudos to Mitchell!! Thank you for your outstanding service.

I had came in on September 28, 2025 around 11 AM. The service was super kind and friendly my server Mariana.M was so great Definitely Will be coming back in the future! I had ordered the bourbon, burger, and side of fries. Absolutely delicious.

Came in on Tuesday with my husband. We sat at the bar and shared pulled pork nachos. They were delicious. It was our first time here and we’re definitely adding this place into our date night rotation. Service was really great as well. Jasmine took great care of us.

Our server Tyler was great. My bourbon burger was amazing. The fries and homemade ketchup were very good. Looks great inside with a lot of natural light. The only complaint was that there were quite a few flies terrorizing our table as well as the tables on either side of us. Hoping they find a solution for the unwanted guests. We will be back!

We visited this new location on a Tuesday evening. There were two people in our party and we did not have to wait for a table. They were very busy, though, with several large parties. The burgers were very good and their onion rings reminded me of Edwards Drive In, which were my absolute favorite. I would seriously go there just for the onion rings. The prices were a bit high, with burgers being between $10 (for the snack size) to $17 (for the Bison and Impossible burgers). Those prices do not include any sides. Fries, onion rings, or any other sides were any extra charge.

Overall, I can’t complain about going here for a nice dinner to be with family or friends. The food and drinks are always a hit. The only downfall is how much of a mess the hosts were. Understandably, when things are busy it can feel overwhelming but even after make a reservation 5 days in advanced we still had to wait over 20 minutes, which is fine, but it feels like making a reservation wasn’t necessary. Standing in the entrance gets very crowded during busy times so it gets uncomfortable while waiting if you can’t sit at the bar or wait else where. If the hosts were friendlier and more organized, this place would be 5 stars easily.

We dined in last Saturday for the first time and thought the restaurant is great! I thought the onion rings were the best I’ve ever had, and the burger was tasty. I ordered medium well, though, and was more pink than I expected. I’ll know to order well done the next time. Ava was our server. She was so personable! She heard me say I was starving when we ordered our dinners and brought me a pack of crackers to hold me over. She was the best!!! We will definitely be returning.

First time at this location in frankly was a little bit disappointed. Took a chance and had the bison burger, which was less than impressive. Best part of my selection was the fries and the ranch dressing. Tried to pick a more secluded area off to the side and it's still managed to get noisy. High point of the evening was our server. She did a great job.

We love Bru & had never been to this location so decided to give it a try.. We are SO glad that we did ! Our server was Emily and she was excellent as well. Will definitely be back !

Seated promptly and greeted warmly. Food order came very quickly (maybe even too quickly?) Wife's burger was overcooked on one side (really fast delivery+ overdone burger = cooked ahead?). Onion rings were okay but not great. Batter was crispy crunchy in places and greasy and soft in others. And, five onion rings for $4?? Bread Pudding desert was excellent. Overall - a little disappointing given the hype and prices.

Beautiful restaurant, onion rings the old fashion way, not the diced frozen stff. Big and fluffy. Burgers are great—but everything is extremely greasy. Be ready fot that. And the drinks at the bar are TINY. Not sure what the desl is with that. Enjoy

Went for dinner. The staff were all very friendly and service was prompt. The food was meh. Nachos were good onion rings very greasy. Burgers were just ok but fries were like refried several times and greasy. Wouldn’t recommend the espresso martini.

The atmosphere and our waitress was great but to be honest our hamburgers weren't and the onion rings were greasy. The presentation of the hamburger was nice but the hamburger itself didn't have any flavor. The onion rings were crispy but seasoning.

Service was I guess alright. Took forever to get drinks and it wasn’t busy and I never got my water I asked for at the beginning and the other 3 times I asked. The atmosphere is just like a normal sports pub style. Food was bland. Not worth all the hype that people give that place. Price does not match the quality. If we go back we will probably just sit at the bar and not deal with the actual servers or just not sit in that persons section since they always forgot something and took forever to bring things over to us. I’d understand if they were busy but we were the only one in the servers section. Oh and it was only 2 of us. Not a large party.

Had a res for 11:30.. arrived at 11:20.. each time the door opened cold air hit our table.. asked for another table.. took us to a table by the kitchen from our table you could see into kitchen. I see a booth in the bar area, asked, coukd we have the booth. 3 employees gather to discuss, more employees gather and look at myself and two friends. A different person tell me,” no, a reservation for the booth”. We do get a table in the bar area. Waitress gives us menu, our first time at restaurant waitress comes back “ Are we ready to order”. Tell her no, it’s our time here and we were chatting wit each other. Comes back again, “ are you ready to order?” Tell her sorry,what would you suggest, our first time here. Long story short took our orders We all ordered the same thing Bru Burger. One friend got bacon on her burger, my other friend got a double burger , lettuce was left off my burger. My friend told the waitress I didn’t order bacon on my burger..not certain waitress heard her comment. My first time yo Bru Burger, was very disappointed in service and the burger.

I went here to have dinner before heading out to meet friends. I arrived at 630 and had a seat at the bar. My date and I ordered a drink and immediately ordered our food once we received our drinks. We then waited 45 minutes and still no food. The couple next to us were also complaining about the length of time that it was taking to get their food. We waited a few more minutes and decided to leave. I walked out and was complaining a bit when a woman asked me if everything was ok. I said no and that the service sucked. A woman that was also leaving told me that they had the same complaint. We ordered chicken tenders, a burger and fries. Simple. I could have butchered the cow and freshly cut the fries in the time it took them to prepare such an easy meal. I don’t know that I will be visiting them again. The manager didn’t seem to care. The one shining moment was the bartenders. They were Very nice and prepared great drinks.

Decent tasting meal, but disappointed EVERYTHING was extra. No refills offered till we were getting ready to leave - then delivered in a glass instead of a to-go cup. UGH!!! 1st restaurant in YEARS I've ordered a $16 burger and NO SIDE INCLUDED. Makes the overall value down the toilet. Speaking of toilets - the men's room looked like one from a bus station. Toilet seat broken, urine all over the floor, paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor. Too bad the health department doesn't inspect THAT area. First and LAST visit to this hell-hole.

Went for a birthday dinner food was not good in general was very disappointed some food was over cooked while other was cold. Service was fine. Would not return to this location.

Prices out of sight! I chose what was a small piece of salmon on a bun with “carrot slaw” & water. Over $20. Tiny strands of peeled carrot on the salmon, NOT carrot slaw on the side! Poor flavor. Called son in San Antonio, Texas from BRU Burger warning him never to eat here. One and Done!!

We came into Bru Burger this past weekend on 8/24. It was a terrible expierence. We walked in, no host at the front. So we waited and waited when we saw multiple servers standing by the kitchen making eye contact. No one came up to see if we needed help. We finally sat down after 10 minutes of standing there with no welcome. I ordered off the “Devour” menu. I got a pretzel and Lamb burger. Our server brought out both food items at same time when we said we wanted appetizers out first then entrees. She seemed confused and said she made a mistake. No big deal. Until I go to take a bite of the pretzel and there’s a hair on it. I decided to get boxes and just leave because I was greeted by a few flies while trying to enjoy our meals. The service was bad. No manager came out to talk to us and the server seemed annoyed.

Don't go to the Greenwood location. Take the time to make the drive and go to the Mass Ave location. Bru Burger is one of our favorite restaurants. This past Sunday my husband ordered us takeout from the Greenwood location. The food was terrible. We ordered no tomato or onion on our side salad which they added both to the salad and there was a long black hair in my double bacon cheeseburger. This was extremely disappointing.

I ordered a hamburger medium well. It was raw. I had onion rings. I had to put all of them in the microwave because everything was cold, everything was greasy. My husband and daughter had the mac and cheese which they barely had any cheese in it. Will not go there again.

My boyfriend and I went here last night to have dinner and watch the game. The server we had wasn’t very attentive. He served us the wrong burgers. We didn’t complain we just ate it anyways. And still tipped. After we got home we both had severe stomach aches and diarrhea. I’m pretty sure we got food poisoning from this.
