Food is just ok. Had a taco salad and the ground beef was plain...no seasoning. Pretty gross. Sad that this is our only choice for sit down dining on this base and they allow such poor quality food.

Located on a military installation with deep restrictions on food and produce, it is decent. Centrally located with great staff. Just a quick walk from the housing area and open from lunch till late.

The egg toast is one of the worst things I've ever had the misfortune of eating. Breakfast tacos, quesadilla, and fried mozzarella are all pretty decent, except for the prepackaged guacamole.

I am sure they serve something here that tastes good, but we haven't found it yet. It's not that things taste horrible. It is just truly underwhelming and unmemorable food.

Walked in wasn't really a whole lot of people there, I guess business isn't really what it used to be, I asked for a fettuccine thinking it would be the Alfredo but I didn't ask so that's on me ended up being a tomato based fettuccine, it didn't taste very good though it tasted like the pasta came out of a box, had a mudslide that was okay a little strong for me and I had the tiramisu that was just straight terrible there's no sugar coating it, one bite and I was like no more. I don't remember how much I paid I'll make a note of it for next time but for my first time definitely disappointed. Customer service is okay

Second time in Bambusa; The staff is friendly and work hard, the beer selection is great, the place is convenient if you leave on post, but the food is very disappointing. From burgers to ribeyes and ribs. No luck!

Simple chicken sandwich with only cheese and fries... it was completely empty, less than one slice of chicken... € 10!!! Incredible

We visited this place twice in 7 days. The first time the food was a little below average at best. The second visit the food was horrendous. The Ribeye was cold by the time it arrived. The pasta had zero flavor or taste, it just tasted like cooked noodles. The fried calamari I think was cooked in overused oil, it was nasty. The fajitas came with a huge helping of vegetables, not so much beef and TWO tortillas. Are you kidding me, two tortillas, it was truly laughable. When I asked for the check they wondered if I wanted everything boxed up to go. I informed them no thanks, the meal sucked. The wait staff were excellent, no complaints on them. It was the cooks. Another interesting fact is both times when paying the bill, the manager didn't ask a single question about the meals. I guess he already knows it's uneatable. The problem is those families inbound/outbound and living in the Navy Lodge have limited choices here at Support Site NSA Naples to eat if they have shipped their car or awaiting on it to arrive. /////// Response to Managers statement ///// Yes, the restaurant has been open for 12 years. This is my second tour here in Naples. While living here from 2012 – 2015 the restaurant was atrocious and avoided. The main reason individuals in the Navy Lodge actually utilize the restaurant is there are so few options on base; Food Court or bowling alley. Again when personnel are limited in their ability to eat at an off base restaurant due to no vehicle, they are willing to compromise. As previously stated in my initial posting, I did inform the server that the food was tasteless and unpalatable. Whether or not he informed anyone sounds like a Leadership or an acceptance issue. As mentioned in my initial post, the servers were great. I am curious on how the actual actions of the manager failing to ask a customer how their meal was is offensive?, that’s basic Manager 101. Let’s ask the questions – was the customer asked if the meal was satisfactorily - No; Did the manager even engage with the customer during the checkout – No; Why didn’t the aforementioned “experienced” manager have any dialogue with the customer? Long line at the payment counter – No; standard operating procedure – possibly; not interested in the actual response – most likely.
