I had an excellent time during mi visit to Guadalajara, this place it’s an excellent option for a romantic date night, the pizza and wine were great.

Place is amazing, I just came here for the drinks, cocktails were amazing but cocktail prices were a bit expensive compared to other cocktail bars nearby.

This is a great place to have a dinner and some drinks with friends; it has the right vibe. The service staff are happy to please, and always have a great attitude. Hot tip: Try the pizza!

I was there on Saturday night, I wasn’t hungry at the first time, but the music it’s amazing!!! The food it’s pretty creative and “cute”… and prices are reasonable!!! Service it’s so-so … but maybe it’s because there are too many people🤷🏻‍♀️

Un concepto atractivo para cenar y beber. El lugar es llamativo, colorido y divertido. Hay buena música, sin embargo, coincido que el volumen es muy alto, tal vez sería perfecto si la finalidad fuera bailar pero no lo es. Las pizzas y su queso es de lo más rico, no tengo quejas, excepto es las bebidas, demasiado pequeñas y con hielo exagerado. Iría de nuevo por las pizzas y nada más.

Lots of sashimi and negrini at a reasonable price. The sewting area is outside under cover, without A/C or fans whoch msfe for uncomfortable eating. .....oh, and it doesnt sell alcohol!

Bottom line: I loved the atmosphere and drinks at Sofy Boom, but the food and service were hit and miss. We visited on a weekday evening early Nov 2025. I thought the seating and bar areas were really nice, and the music played during our 1.5 hour visit was really enjoyable! We sat at a table near the windows, which were open to Avenida Chapultepec Sur, the table was excellent for people watching just after sunset (there was a salsa class just across the street, and lots of people walking by)! We ordered drinks and wine, a few appetizers, including papas bravas, arancini mixtos, croquetas, and provolone, as well as a capri focaccia. I had two paloma drinks, and both were consistent and excellent. The appetizers, however, were average; the fried food tasted similar, although the papas bravas were very good (it would be difficult to mess up this simple item!). The capri focaccia was excellent: the vegetables were fresh, the cheese was great, and the bread was excellent! Finally, in terms of the service, my husband and I were both a little disappointed that the hostess and server were average, and not very attentive or energetic. It is doubtful that this had anything to do with us; they seemed like they both needed a good espresso. There are many choices along Chapultepec Sur, and we visited Sofy Boom only once during our trip... I left with a really great impression of the atmosphere and drinks, and I would like to visit again the next time we visit Guadalajara. If I visited again, however, I would likely visit Sofy Boom for the great atmosphere, and sit closer to the bar or at the bar for excellent drinks and potentially, better service.

El lugar está muy bonito y agradable. Pedimos una pizza que estaba muy rica y una tabla de quesos. La tabla de quesos la deberían de quitar del menú por qué es más tabla de cortes fríos que de queso. Para el precio, está muy limitada y le faltan muchas cosas. La música que tienen si está padre pero si vas con ese ambiente. El servicio no fue pésimo pero si fue muy tardado. Se tardaron más en traerme la cuenta que la comida y entiendo que a veces se ocupan con otras mesas pero si no le digo a otro mesero que me trajeran la terminal, hubiera quedado esperándome aún más tiempo.

🚬🚬🚬🤢Smoke humo everywhere. Yuck. Get the viola boom cocktail. My new favorite alternative from old fashioned and negroni. Good service. Good food. Docking two stars because they allow smoking. Cigarette Smokers everywhere gets all in my nostrils and in the back or my throat. Was coughing later that night. Yuck. 🚬🚬🚬🤢

Pizza was great but It isn't for people who want a conversation while they eat, loud music throughout. The decoration was very cool though.

The place is cool designed but thats like all to it. The food is very mediocer and they dont have much options. The service is really bad and the charged us a 5usd bottle water with gas even after we told them that we ordered still water and did not drink it. Also brought us langsane instead of pasta bolognesa, and were kind of rude when we insisted to change it.

I ordered pizza. It was Awful! The sauce was tomato from the can, no flavor, no condiments, no salt 👎

Watch out here! If you pay the bill by credit card, the waiter will automatically add a tip without asking first. A few weeks ago it was 15% and tonight it was 20% - and the crazy thing is, we always tip well but when this happens you are left feeling that someone took advantage of you. Waiters need to ask about the tip before adding it. That is normal. This is the only place in Guadalajara where they add a tip without asking. And the crazy thing is… this is one of our favorite places to eat. We love the food, the service and the ambiance, but when this happens it just makes me feel very disrespected. Read other reviews - others have experienced this too. The managers and owners need to address this.
