Today we ordered a large House Combo without green peppers, with anchovies. We are quite picky about anchovie pizza. The Upper Crust one came within 15 minutes. It was full of ingredients all the way to the outer edge of the crust. The sweet woman who took our order was very friendly. The place is not fancy, but the food is good and we enjoyed our outdoor dining experience.

Excellent pizza, pleasantly surprised!

This was our second time visiting and I have to say it’s just as amazing as the first! I wish I would have got a picture of the pizza but we dug in as soon as it arrived. We live about 4 hours away and planned our day trip around getting this pizza. The crust is perfect and all of the ingredients taste so fresh! The staff is so friendly and even remembered us from the first time we were there! It’s so good we got an extra pizza and LOTS of ranch to take home! 1000% recommend!

It's a little pizzeria in the middle of nowhere (so to speak, though Gualala is a pretty big town for the area), but their pizza is fantastic. I live in Elk Grove, CA, where plenty of pizza options exist, but these guys blow them all away. I wasn't thrilled with the salad, but the pizza was top-notch! I'll be stopping by again when I'm in the area. The atmosphere is cozy, but it can get cramped with everyone picking up orders or dining in, so finding a table inside might be tricky during dinner time. There are outdoor tables and chairs when the weather allows.

My family loved the pizza! We ordered chicken wings and the combo pizza then loved sit so much, that we took more to go! The service was outstanding! The young lady that took our order was so sweet and helpful! We were even greeted by the lady and gentleman that were busy making the pizzas! It’s rare to find such great customer service. Thank YOU! We will be coming again!

Wow! Im not saying this pizza, on its own, is worth a trip to Gualala. However, if you find yourself in Gualala, or near enough to make it easy, stopping by this place for a pie is definitely worth it. We got the house combo and its was one of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long while. Great crust and sauce and covered in quality toppings. Had a beer and watched the sunset while we waited. Well done!

Awesome Veggie Pesto pizza!! Lots of toppings, and excellent tasty crust! Stopped in at the end of the day, and they were so nice to take our order even though that meant them working late! It was actually ready earlier than they said and they brought it out to our car! We recommend calling ahead or getting there by 7:30 PM to give them time to make your pizza before their closing time. Great pizza! And wonderful service! Highly recommend!

Great local pizzeria that is family owned and has a nostalgic 90's vibe and taste. Highly recommend as a great takeout pizza place if you are in the area.

Atmosphere: Perfect size Pizza Shack located in downtown Gualala. Place smells exactly like a great pizza joint should. Service was great! We were Greeted with smiles the moment we walked into the door. Nice young lady Took our order as soon as we were ready. We did two medium pizzas: 1 pep & 1 spicy Haw. There was literally a guy in front of us who had just ordered 25 pizzas!! It was all hands on deck and the crew was clearly focused… we could have easily been told to comeback tomorrow… lol but instead we somehow still had our pizzas in had under 20 minutes. Wow. Just wow. Food: pizza was exactly what we ordered, fresh, and tasty as could be. Perfect ending to a majestic location. Thank you!! 5 stars.

Had their meat lover's pizza. It is so delicious. The crust is excellent, not too think and not too thin. Excellent flavor and the ingredients taste fresh. It does get busy so order early. We stop here everytime we come to Sea Ranch. It is a small pizza place and very busy. Staff is very friendly. It usually takes about an hour to get your order, but well worth the wait. You can always order a beer and sit on the porch while you wait. Updated 11/13/22 - still fantastic! Call ahead. Usually about a 45-60 minutes wait but well worth it!

Amazing spot for pizza! So glad that we drove from Point Arena to eat here. We got a large Canadian bacon and a small veggie pesto and both were loved by our whole family. Wish we could go back again and again. Service was fast and friendly and the place was clean.

That had too mean quality pizza pie is made there. I ordered a large house combination pizza, which is mushroom, pepperoni, white onion, sausage, linguica, green peppers and olives. The taste was wonderful and the aroma is to die for. Must visit when in Gualala.

The fact that its this tasty and in the middle of nowhere is something special. I can only imagine how satisfying this would taste if you just got done camping.

Me oh my, what a pie! My crew picked up four pizzas and some salads and were satiated in body and mind. They threw in little packets of herbs, even after we clarified that we didn’t know the owner and didn’t have any promo codes. I think this is what they mean by upper crust, class personified, pies for all my guys.

We ordered 3 pizzas including a gluten-free one and they were inhaled by the teen, tween and adults. Thin crusts and flavourful. Wings were yummy too, but overpriced so definitely a once in a while treat. Will certainly come back!

Great pizza in small place that was really busy on a Monday night. Lots of the locals must love this place because they were picking up pizza to go the whole time we were there. Since they were greeted by name, it was assumed they were locals.

Good pizza - not sure why other reviewers criticize friendliness of staff - people were nice. Only downsides are wait time (we waited 45 minutes for our pizza and were already accelerated because of our toddler) as well as air in the restaurant - quite some smoke as the ventilation above the pizza oven didn’t seem to work properly.

Been to this place twice, both times the combo pizza was really good. One of the times I had to wait almost 45 mins for my pizza. It's a bit pricey for pizza, but that's normal for everything out in this area of California. Not a ton of seating area but usually there is enough since it's such a small town. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Pizza was average. Judging by the crust, I wonder if they make the dough and the crusts there. There is no “leopard skin” coloration to the crust and the crosshatching on the bottom makes me think this is premade.

Tried them for the first time after all these years, and not on board with the high rating. No one in the group thought the crust was very good, although the toppings were fine. Crust was similar to the dense droopy stuff you get at cheap pizza by the slice places. The prices are pretty stiff for the level of quality. On par or higher than the top places in Marin on price, but notably lower quality on the crust (for sure) and the ingredients on top. Friendly people, fast service, and probably the best in Gualala if you're in the mood for pizza.

So I ordered a pizza to go & while my husband & I were waiting for the pizza, we decided to try some food he got from the outside (not pizza cause he didn’t want it) also we were starving & couldn’t wait. The staff would not have it. Older man who works there called my husband rude for bringing outside food even though I was waiting for my pizza to bake as I was a paying customer. We didn’t know outside food wasn’t allowed but the way they talked to us was very wrong. One of the staff - an older man, was very condescending. We felt attacked & discriminated against that we left immediately. Probably not going back there anyway & would never recommend this place to anyone. They were very rude to us & treated us very poorly. His exact words was “you don’t think it’s rude bringing food on the outside?” “She got pizza to go”! Yeah I did get pizza to go but I’m not allowed to change my mind and eat there?staff needs to approach the matter professionally & some customer service training.lost my appetite , pizza wasn’t good either, very basic and boring. Went to the one near gualala supermarket, very good & customer service superb & they said it’s ok to eat there 👍 don’t waste money on mean/ racist & unprofessional staff.
