Eating there is a learning experience but the curve is steep and soon one learns the way. Add the sauce yourself and you will be happier. Find the roll of brown paper towels and the joy is more complete. All in all, I enjoyed it and intend to return.

Good food. But the staff is kids who really don't know how to interact with customers. Best to get your food to go, and eat at home. Portions are pretty small, so order larger. Better safe than hungry. Sad, but true.

The barbecue has really become inedible. They used to have good sausage links not anymore. Used to have a decent brisket not anymore. They used to have a pretty decent rib not anymore. It’s nice to have a smoking a rib but when you put into a rib thinking it’s a smoking and it’s just raw red meat. Yuck. The green beans were almost like mash green beans coleslaw was edible. That’s my last trip to this place. I’m making excuses in my mind every time, but never again.

We have ate here before during Crusin the Coast and it wasn't bad. But today, we get there around 12 and the daily special, ribs wasn't ready. OK didn't really want ribs, I'll take a chopped brisket sandwich, hubby got brisket and sausage. My sandwich was huge, but when I went to put bbq sauce on it I saw why, full of fat! Hubby's brisket was full of fat as well. We do not care for fatty brisket. I want be going back to this location.

So I ordered doordash the three meat platter, we'll unfortunately they were out of turkey....and since it was doordash they said they couldn't change it to the two meat platter ......so I got charged 27 for a two meat platter ....not only that I had gotten pulled pork but they had no BBQ sauce on the pork nor did they provide any on the side ,along with them only having 2 meats no BBQ sauce they forgot the roll ....when I called back and spoke to the manager he said that doordash was supposed to go fill up the BBQ condiment and if id like I can come get the piece of bread, he wasn't sure why they forgot it ......I don't drive thats I why doordash...waste of 27 dollars

I very rarely leave reviews, but this experience was very unfortunate. Flies/nats fell out of the tea dispenser and into my cup when trying to get tea, more came out and started flying around. A roach was crawling all around the countertop by the fountain drinks and utensils that are not sealed. Very disappointing and we will never go back regardless if we get another gift card or not.

Horrible; Forgot sides, sauces, and everything was old and dried out. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Chilis has better ribs.

I've ordered through Doordash three times this year and ALL 3 times they forgot my dessert. Twice it was missing a side and condiments. Do not recommend.

Horrible absolutely horrible. I have ordered from here 3 times hoping it would get better. Wrong order, wrong food. Last order was missing an entire entree and the drinks and nothing was done about it. This place is a joke. I will never order from here again. Not for me or my employees. Get it together

PSA--Dickeys BBQ Pit on Hwy 49, Gulfport: Not sure who owns this joint. But, I can say this: Outdoor area: Concrete is almost black. Currently a dark gray in front of doors from lack of pressure washing. And is slick. Could have dangerous fun with a little water for a slip and slide. Who knows, you may take a permanent black streak tattoo along with the slide. Freebie. Meanwhile, Hobby Lobby has clean concrete. Go figure. Windows and seals are horridly nasty. Spill marks, finger prints, and general crud that appears to have turned into biohazard caulk line the seal areas. This is not something a scrub would cure. This is for heated pressure washing and good skills with box knives, biohazard suits, and respirators. Signs are half ripped, and there is left over tape on windows in case you need some extra tape to wrap Christmas presents. After entering, be prepared. You won't notice much until you have paid for your food and are waiting on it, giving time to discover much of the "decor." 1. Where you throw your trash away is dried up ketchup or some sauce from months ago, looking very much like a putty knife is needed to remove it. You can sculpt something there and enter it into a contest. 2. Caps between booths have so much dust atop them that you can create your own art with your fingers, if brave enough. It can accompany the art created at the garbage drop. 3. Vinyl top backs on booths have food that has dried while dripping. Appears that the top seat backs of booths is a good place to shove food crumbs as well. If your toddler is feeling quite mouthy, and you are living dangerously, this is the place for them. Lotsa yummy germs. Doc will thank you. 4. Look up to the black roof and enjoy about 2 inches of compacted dust on the vents. You could likely knit you a rib with the dust you'd collect. Think of not cleaning your ceiling fan for months on months and the strings or ropes of dust you get from those. Yes, it's here. Happy knitting. 5. Additionally, it looks as if an explosion of some sort of liquid occurred, as dried streaks of something are there on ceiling wall next to payment center. More art, I presume, of the contemporary genre? 6. Whatever contraption is above the drink machine is sitting on a concave board that is waiting to fall and looks half-rotted. Need a quick lawsuit with a payout, you are in luck. Here's your chance. 7. Food. Ordered a half rack of ribs and fries. They just opened. 11 AM. I got ribs that were not fresh. They were old ribs that had been sitting under a heat source and were dry and jerky. Don't know if they were yesterday's ribs, but I suspect they were. Fries--look cooked. We're not cooked long enough. Top it off, they were cold. I wasn't trying to diet. But apparently, they thought I needed to. 8. BBQ sauces were cold. Not heated. 9. No ice in machine. Employee fixed it quickly. Though I am being sarcastic in this post, it truly is shameful. Dickeys needs to do better all around. When people come to eat ribs, I'm pretty darn certain they are expecting ribs made that day--juicy ribs. Hot, fully cooked fries, and a clean environment to eat. I won't ever return after this. I don't know how the health department does its inspections, but someone needs to take a good look at this place. Such a shame. Never again. Get it together, Dickeys.

If I could give zero stars I would. The first time ordering I got food poisoning. I tried to give them another try. They overcooked my ribs and my fries . The fries were literally burnt . I ordered through Uber eats

The workers wasn’t that great. They were joking about us the entire time we were in the restaurant. The food wasn’t that great chicken was hard the other meat were okay but not the greatest, the sides were pretty good. I ask for the ribs and was told that there was none but seen some ready but that is okay. Other than that it was okay.

Total disappointment. I got a sad portion of meat scraps, a dry piece of plain bread, no sides, no sauce, and missing items I paid for. How do you serve BBQ without sauce?! Everything looked and tasted like leftovers tossed in a box. This was a waste of money — never ordering from this Dickey’s again.

Out of ribs, out of brisket, out of paper bags, didn't have online order tickets. Had to call manager to get them printed. Bagged 2 orders in 35 minutes. Didn't care about speed, or every person waiting on their orders, and just stated they were there to make a paycheck. Had to remind them of fries. Had to remind them of drinks. Then they got the order wrong. They didn't give me the receipt after all the looking for the ticket. They said it got grease on it. (Why not print another...?). When walking in the place is dark, without atmosphere and nobody seems to care at all. Even the manager speaks words but actions align with nonchalant employees. Was given a free drink for waiting due their incompetence. Was told an additional 6 minutes yet it took them 35 minutes and didn't care to put the order in the bags. Thankfully they didn't run out of bags on my order. All to have gotten my order incorrect after all of that. Absurdity!!!?!

I did give a great review back in the day but I take it all back after my recent experience. The managers do not communicate and have the same policies with each other. Friendly service and the brisket is always fantastic! The creamed spinach is awesome and the green beans have a great spiciness to them!!
