Always great customer service! This Jack and the box location has been our families "Pit Stop" for generations as we commute to LA and San Diego from the Northern Coast!

Yummy yummy haven't had Jack in the box for 7 years tacos are now two for a dollar 29 versus $0.99 but so what excellent

I work here now lol so come on over and say hi. It's good everyone says ots the worst one but it's not bad at all it's just an old building the inside has pretty much all the same stuff as any other Jack and the box.

Good place for fast food. Lots of choices and other options available if you don't want a burger. The staff was fast and friendly and the food was good.

They don't have Jack in Florida so I've been there four times in the past five days.

Perfect. A young man that works the counter is always nice and welcoming. J&B is lucky to have someone like him respresenting them.

Yummy! Delicious food. The tacos were full of yummy lettuce. The staff seemed to put the food together better than we have seen. We r grateful

I've grown up in the 5 cities area. This Jack in the box has been Great! Even now with everything they have to go thru to get people to literally risk their health to serve us. Your doing a Great Job! Manager and staff. Thank you!

I tried the Chili Fries today and it was delicious. Jack in the Box is one of my top faves when going for fast food. All the selections are top grade. Never been disappointed. A money wise choice.

Just as expected. One thing, there is an outside order window since SLO doesn't have drive-thrus. Staff was nice, courteous, and efficient. Post-COVID business, using self serve soft drink machine and doesn't require masks.

I love that these guys are open when everyone else has closed. We are night owls and live in an area famous for rolling up ghe sidewalks after dark. The food is the standard Jack in the Box menu. I love drive through egg rolls. Or the sourdough jack. The service is friendly and helpful. And kind, in spite of us, usually having very complicated orders. My only caveate is you should expect them to clean the shake machines by midnight, so part of the menu will won't be available in th he middle of the night.

Great customer service, even late at night. Got exactly what I ordered and it was delicious. You have to try their new garlic fries and avocado chicken butger. P.S. you can get it in grilled chicken as well.

Drive thru employee working on 3-7-19 at 11pm was really nice. :) people like her make the experience great when you go to a fast food restaurant.

This may be my favorite fast food place. They have a good size menu with lots of variety. Their new loaded fries are yummy. I also love any of their combos that come on a sourdough bun. When I go through the drive thru it is often a bit of a wait, but I enjoy the food!

Teriyaki protein bowl was delicious, fast and drive through guy was super friendly.

Whoever owns this location I want you to know that you have two workers named Dayana and Bulmavo are the best.They were the only two there working and they handled the drive thru and counter quick and professional.I give major props to these two and I hope they are appreciated 👍🏼 I was shocked to see the best ever service from such young people!!! Great job I appreciate you!!!!

Not a big fan of the taste of the burger meat weird tasting in general. Lots of options the EGG ROLLS ARE BETTER THAN THE ASIAN RESTAURANTS AROUND HERE.get the 3 pack. Reheating in airfryer is amazing. The tacos are classic cheap and consistent good.curly fries amazing.

Other fast food places close before 11:00 and in this small town that’s not unusual. But what is unusual is that the local jack n the box locations are always open! It’s a great thing for me because I’m a night bird. I love not having any traffic on the main road and feeling the cool night air. Their food has always been great! My mom likes to get two tacos and a sandwich. My dad gets jalapeno poppers and spicy chicken with cheese. I love your grilled chicken on sourdough. The sauce paired with the chicken is awesome. If you are getting a meal get a medium for large sized drinks. A medium cup roughly the same size as a large McDonald’s cup.

The employees here actually enjoy their jobs, 'cause it shows. They're always eager to help. The food is fantabulous. It blows McDonald's & Burger King out of the water. Jack in the Box is always adding new and fun items to eat and enjoy. JACK IN THE BOX RULES!!!!!!!! I remember living and growing up in Baltimore, after school my MOM(God rest her soul🙏) would take us to Jack in the Box if we were good, and no lie but we could get 2 tacos for .25 cent. And still today the tacos live on. I love Jack in the Box. Can't you tell!!!

I normally don’t do fast food reviews because the employees change often which changes everything about the place constantly. However, the food was on par for Jack in the Box food and the dude working the drive-thru was really friendly. I don’t even care if the staff is friendly at a fast food place as long as the food is good so that was a plus. 👌🏼

It definitely hit the spot! I was starving and had not had anything in awhile so I was pleased in the meals we ordered.

Not bad as far as Jack in the box goes. Was very clean inside actually. Food seemed strangely fresh....Not a bad place to stop for the munchies.

Food is priced well and it always comes out hot and fresh-tasting. Also, this location has a drive-thru that is open 24-hours and the people late at night are friendly.

If you will be eating in, bring a coat as it's always cold in the dining area.

I don't like their meals. Bread to dry and the taste is just not there. BUT .... The plain cheese burger is good .. Tacos are great very tasty. The breakfast is. " ok ". But you always have to ask for the butter as if they don't want to pass them out and want to save them. Lately they are serving better. They are always saying " sorry" because it takes them to long to have the order ready or they have to serve it out side from inside to a parked car on the drive. Other wise its great.

pretty clean inside and out, open all night, pretty quick service, my order is always correct. but...I usually need a milkshake around midnight and Jack in the box is the only place open that late and their ice cream machine is usually broken....other than that I'd give them 5 stars...

The new Tiny Tacos are delicious! Triple Bonus Jack was excellent! Store was dirty, seemed understaffed, needs a good deep cleaning and stronger management. Food was great though, order was accurate.

Would have rated five stars but guy at drive-thru register it was kind of freaky if you will sounding like evil clown monster demon from hell. Also he was nice I just felt like I was going to get molested or like something of that sort kind of made me feel a little uncomfortable on edge and whatnot actually I take that back..... I would actually rate this 4.5 Stars unfortunately there is no .5 star ratings.... That is all thank you

The food was fine but boy Jack in the box seems to cost a lot these days. Holy moly.

Love their burgers they always put just the perfect amount of lettuce and a juicy tomato unlike other places that give you hot lettuce and a mushy tomato this place always gives me fantastic Burger with other fixings leather fries no salts very important for me and they go out of the weight and make sure they don't have salt

The service leaves a lot to be desired. They could improve a lot but since the next Jack in the Box isn't too close, they don't have a lot of pressure to improve.

Jack in the box? Umm how do you review fast food. Did it make you sick? Na Was it what you wanted? Nah, but all that was open. Lol Wasn't bad but def not great.

The food was old tasting and my burger was like chewing on a hockey puck. The onion rings were excellent. The service was was quick though.

Food tastes good for fast food, however the quality of the customer service is less than what most would expect... but it does vary. Has a "take your food and get out" vibe.

Ordered stuffed jalapeno and 4 dollar munchies. Jalapeno good but munchies tasted stale. TY Jack! 9ers have 2 touchdowns!

It took way too much effort to communicate the order details over the drive through. I spoke loudly and clearly, and used the brand name of the items. At one point we could hear another employee in the background repeating what I was saying to the drive through person. Once they got it right, the food was good, as fast food goes.

It's fast food. Don't ever get more than 3 stars. Had my usual fusion of the chicken fajita pita and egg rolls. They did a good job 👏.

Went for a late night run. Wouldn’t recommend this jack in the box. Waiting in drive through pretty long. We orders a #12 and #8 with onion rings and jalapeño poppers. Our food was cold and I was missing 1 jalapeño popper. The lady gave us taco sauce instead of ketchup up. It was the first and last time we get food from there. Just go eat at a different place.

It is a Jack in the box. Not one in a great new location, and those can be a little dicey. The service seems a little half-assed most times. The food tastes fresh (most times), and the place is somewhat clean. Order anything more than a drink and expect to be parked to wait (even if you are the only person in the drive-thru). The food is still job for a Jack in the Box.

Food was ok. The front lady got our order wrong. But it was ok my kids just ate what i ordered. Inside is a little small. Drive thru might be the way to go. Unless ypu like breathing down other customers necks. Parking lot is ok unless you have a bigger vehicle thing might get a little tuff

Customer service was very slow

I like to get the chicken teriyaki bowl if I'm out and need something quick to eat. It's ok for fast food. I sometimes order a plain bowl of rice if my stomach is upset. I've also eaten the (I'm probably going to mess up the exact name...) Supreme Breakfast Croissant. That one is pretty good as well. I honestly haven't tried much else from there, though.

All the food has the same taste as if the oil hadn't been changed and fries are given to you cold greasy

Service was so slow it took almost 15 minutes to get 2 salads and 2 tacos. I know food service has a shortage of workers but sheesh.

Takes a very long time for them to take your order. Then it takes longer to get your food. Foods not bad though.

Went there, ordered 2 burgers. The guy at the counter spoke as loud as a sloth on meth and the place is as big as the house of a dwarf. Other than that the food was ok. If you're an oversized American you will probably like it.

So went over on my luch i work nights its 2 am waited in line for 10 min to find out they were not takings orders idk if the employees r lazy or stupid but can u not make a sign that says that so im not sitting behind people just waiting to get told i wasted my time 4 nothing ps been a long time customer of this jack in then box but i wont ever be coming back will just drive a few extra min to the other one

When I came here I just wanted a good meal but instead I got burnt curly fries, fries that tasted like they were cooked in old oil and to top it off I couldn’t enjoy just a good meal. The whole time I had to hear the employees Gossiping and talking very loudly. The only thing good was the burger but still they got it wrong the first time.

Christmas day, so thankful they were open to those wanting a snack. But it was SLOW and orders were wrong twice before leaving. And when parked to eat, the order was still incorrect. The food, even wrong, was still good. But again, it was Christmas, so at least they were there trying to give others food. Also, a guy was painting the flashing and side ABOVE our car going through the drive through. DON'T PAINT RED ON AN AWNING AREA DIRECTLY ABOVE CARS THAT ARE GOING THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH!!!

*I went thru the drive thru. In my opinion. I placed a fairly simple order for 2 people last night on 08/16/2023 about 10pm. The order consisted of 1large bacon swiss burger combo.* I asked to substitute onion rings for fries and the drink I ordered was a Dr. Pepper * with minimum ice. With that part of the order I also ordered a crispy chicken Jack wrap with ranch dressing for the sauce and a slice of cheesecake. *IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO STOP AT JACK IN THE BOX WITHOUT ORDERING AT LEAST 1 CHEESECAKE SLICE! IT IS QUITE SCRUMPTIOUS! •The second part of my order was simply 1 additional Bacon Swiss Burger for my friend. Although she is someone with many specific food preferences. Therefore I took the time to preemptively inform the "woman in the box" who was taking the order. There were no other patrons in the drive thru line or inside the restaurant. I did my best to be clear, concise and audible: "Lastly, I would like 1 additional Bacon Swiss Burger customized as follows please. Please tell me when you are ready and I will give you the customization details. Okay?" When she said she was ready. I said the following details: "Besides the bun, meat and cheese. I would only like these following items. Mustard, pickles and a tomato slice. Nothing else other than mustard pickles and a tomato slice. If any of these 3 items are not typically ingredients of this particular burger. I am willing to bay extra if necessary. If it is at all possible that you can ensure they are added to this burger. If not. I would simply like the bun, the cheese and the meat and nothing else at all Incorporated into this particular burger please. I also want to be certain that this burger is not going to be a *combo. I am ordering only this custom built burger by itself alone.This is not a combo order such as was the case with the first Bacon Swiss Burger Combo in this order. " If you haven't heard my order clearly or if you have any additional questions about my order. Please ask me now because I understand that custom orders can be time consuming and confusing. It is getting late and I don't want to have to turn around and come back here tonight because this order is incorrectly filled. Okay?" The woman in the box then replied with additional questions about the custom burger and repeatedly asked about my sauce preference for the Jack Wrap which continued to remain Ranch Dressing. At some point. We heard a loud crash after which we experienced total radio silence for approximately two minutes. Followed by the sound of a few partial words spoken some static and complete silence. At which time I felt the best thing to do was drive up to the window. Answer any additional questions and then ask the woman to please repeat the order so that we are all on the same page. Then I will pay and upon receiving the ordered food. I will leave with confidence and complete certainty we are going home with the food being exactly that which was ordered. When I asked her to please repeat the order back to me. She was outwardly miffed and insulted because I asked her to say the order in its entirety to us. I saw this in her facial expression, overall demeanor and most certainly in the words she spoke to me. At which my reply back to her was in the realm of telling her *and her manager who was by that point standing beside her at the window. That's fine. My intention was never to insult or demean or in any other way criticize her *The Woman In The Box or that specific Jack In The Box on Grand Avenue in Grover Beach California specifically or the franchise or any other person associated in any way with the Jack In The Box Corporation.... And I Apologize if I have somehow made you feel inadequate. I Do See On A Regular Basis. How A Very High Percentage Of You "Me Generation" Youngsters Are Stricken With Some Sort Of A Highly Unhealthy And Quite Distasteful Over The Top Egotistical Attitude And Generally Unflattering Mannerism In The Way You Conduct Yourselves In Public On A Regular Basis. * No... I am by no means labeling the entirety of your generation.

They said “we are currently out of water”. “I can get it from the hose outside for you haha”. I find this to be very disgusting and not a laughing matter. Who runs out of water? We negotiated for some Sprite or coffee, apparently all drinks were out of service lol.

Sat in the drive thru for way too long, then messed up our order. Went to the door, was locked so back during throu the drive thru a second time.

It was trash because u put to much lettace and like a 1 cm size piece of meat, one without ketchup and u filled the tacos with basically only letuce. I wish i could give zero stars cause that was trash

Ordered from Uber eats. Nuggets were dry. Burger literally had what I didn’t want on it on it.. and what I did want on it not on it…. And the tacos were dry. No dipping sauces. Trued to contact Uber but they are no help

Never go there for a late night snack I waited literally 10 minutes at the Intercom and that’s the second time it’s happened to me son-in-law rolled the front and what did see? them bs’n and talking in the front rather than doing their simple @$$ jobs.

Fast food not so fast..waited 40 minutes in the drive thru only 2 cars ahead of me. Tried to be understanding of short staffing but it's getting ridiculous.

I don't know what happened. The quality of the food and accuracy of orders sucks. It used to be my favorite fast food but no longer.

The service sucks at this place I walk in waited for like 10 minutes no one came to take my order 😒 walk out to a nice local restaurant.

I waited at the menu board for 5 minutes and then pulled forward to the order board and waited an additional 5 minutes before someone said anything then I was told that they would be with me in just a moment, another 5 minutes, someone took my order, I drove around the corner to find there were four cars ahead of me. So that's 15 minutes with no cars behind me . For an additional 10 minutes none of those cars had moved. I was late for an appointment so I just left.

Ive been by there 5 different times and still no chocolate shakes. Take it off the menu if your not serving them.

Piss poor. Service there was good a few years ago, but has gotten way bad as of late. Almost every time, my order is messed up in one way or another. And the cashiers always have a piss poor attitude like it's your fault. Is it really hard to cook a burger on a flat grill?? Or get SOME of the damn grease out of the fries?? This Jack In the Box is slightly better then MC Donald. But it's s**t food and service.

The food does not look like the display. Carl's Jr is the same pretty picture doesn't match the food you get. I guess I shouldn't complain it only cost 11 bucks

If I could give less than 1 star I would ....my chicken pita was literally hard as cardboard couldn't even eat it...😖 had to repeat our order several times long, long wait at drive thru...etc.etc..etc...lame! Worst drive thru in the 5 cities! Also chicken strips we ordered where super dark...like they were cooked in 50 year old oil...expensive and totally not worth it!

Inside of this restaurant is really filthy. Every time I've been here it's been dirty. As we walked in employees are all talking while there's 4 tables that are all dirty. I had to wipe my own table . Floors are even dirty. Food was cold. Management needs to get this place up to par. If you want hot food and a clean table this isn't the place for you.

The night shift here is horrible. They consistently screw up your order. I think what really happens is that someone accidently makes the wrong food during the night shift. Instead of wasting it, they pawn it off on the next customer. That would explain why some of the food is hot, while your mistake is cold. Whenever you try to complain at night, the employees tell you that the only thing you can do is call the Jack in The Box 1-800 number. This has been going on for years. Morning and afternoon shifts seem to be decent.

Literally the WORST. Never had this happen to me. I got in line at about 11:35pm. Only two cars ahead of me. They had the person that was at the order window waiting there all the for 20 min. TWENTY MIN! So now, its 11:53, so they only take the person that was at the menu ordering. What a WASTE of time. you're open till 12. Cant speak on the food quality, but that was messed up.

Wow what a disappointment from beginning to end. Poorest customer service to say the least. I pulled up to the drive through order speaker and waited for literally 6 minutes until a angry voice barked. I ordered one item and he couldn't even get it right. I ordered a chocolate shake and he brought a vanilla. He definitely didn't want to be there. I left with my wrong order for fear he would cause a problem.

Got off a long drive and have low sugar and stopped to get something to eat and found this place locked 15 mins before closing? Never seen that before 1/25/26. Someone saw me at the door an still ignored me how disrespectful. Check the cameras to see what time I arrived ridiculous

Wasn't greeted upon entering. Sat for 10 minutes before deciding to place the order on kiosk. If my kids weren't there I would have walked out at that point. Never acknowledged even after order placed. Food was set down and no order was called, no communication like it's terribly hard to do your simple job. Terrible people skills in a business where you need to at least acknowledge customers. 8 out of 10 sodas were out, really, refill them, again, do your job. Food was sub par, nothing special but fed the kids. This generation of workers that don't know how to work are all found here. At least the ones working when my children and I came in. Wouldn't recommend it as a local to anyone. Not worth it. Hopefully someone will train the employees soon.

Baley was RUDE. couldn’t keep up in drive through and said we were “stressing him out” I did have a big order so I was going slow but he was rude and very unprofessional. I work in fast food and have for the last 3 years. You shouldn’t speak to a customer the way he did to me. Learn how to do your job. New staff is simply awful. Had to repeat every item we were ordering at least twice and employee still messed it up. She kept blaming the "noise" but there was only one other customer in the restaurant. Saw two others come in from the drive thru while we were eating because their orders were also incorrectly made. Restaurant interior was dirty to boot!

Went through the drive thru tonight. They didn't take our order right away, in fact they asked us to wait to place our order. They had 3 cars parked waiting for food when we came to the window to pay. Our food came quickly but when we got back to the hotel, the hot onion rings that we ordered were completely black from being fried too long. Not sure if there was management present but they obviously didn't know how to handle a late night "rush", nor knew that to hand out burnt food is totally unacceptable. Update, my husband went back to get replacement onion rings. We opened the box at the hotel and once again the onion rings were black!!!! I guess they don't ever change the oil in their fryers. Don't eat at this Jack in the box.
