What an incredibly delightful place. I was staying with a friend who lives in Riverside, and he recommended this place highly. The service was excellent, the staff was approachable, friendly, and efficient. The food was spot on. I had tacos nopales and they were delicious. The horchata was also excellent. So many agua fresca to choose from. And then there's the decor. It goes on and on and on. I don't know what all happens here, there must be events. But it looks like nearly a full city block of fun.

This place is such a vibe! It reminds me of Randyland in Pittsburgh or Hamtramck Disneyland in Detroit. Details in every corner as you look around, highly recommend if you’re into artsy stuff! I can’t vouch for the food, but the coconut horchata is amazing— real coconut flakes mixed in. This was the perfect place to chill for a while before a nearby concert I was in town for. Plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and it’s easy to find a particularly cozy corner. I almost got lost wandering around, it took me a while to find the actual restaurant/kitchen.

The vibe was on point with great music playing in the background 🎶 — the perfect finishing touch. Service was friendly and attentive 🙌 and the food? Absolutely delicious 😋. If you're in Riverside, this is a must-try! 📍✨ ——- Came back a second time in August and ordered the coctel campechano. Looked great but it was pretty mediocre. The agua Fresca de Fresa was on point though And I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu

Must-try taco shop in Riverside! The outdoor patio is truly a standout, with lots of beautiful repurposed art on display. You order your food at a counter and it’s brought out to you wherever you’re sitting. I ordered the carnitas tacos and a watermelon água fresca, and both really hit the spot. I’m not sure if they have a dedicated parking lot, but the lot behind the restaurant had plenty of spaces and no signs prohibiting parking.

This is a one of a kind place. You can see a very interesting display of art made with things that are trash to others. The creativity of the owner to convert trash into art is amazing. Much more than just food for your tummy it's also food for the imagination. It's worth the visit. The food is not the best but it's affordable at $10-20 per person. The fruit waters are delicious. All in all it's a great place to visit just to admire the many creations of this artist's imagination.

This was my first time visiting this location. To begin with, the environment and artwork are beautiful — it truly creates a welcoming and visually appealing atmosphere. The food was also excellent. I ordered the Wet Supreme Pastor Burrito, and my wife ordered three tacos (Pastor, Fish, and Shrimp), which she thoroughly enjoyed. We visited around sunset, and since the seating is open. It became dark fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the area where my wife and I were seated did not have lighting, so we were dining in near darkness. I asked a staff member if the lights in that section could be turned on, and it took approximately 10 minutes for that to be addressed. Aside from that minor inconvenience, it’s a great place to bring friends and family. Our total for two people was about $88. Overall, we had a positive experience and will most likely return, especially since my wife really enjoyed it.

Such an iconic landmark! I was thrilled to finally try the food and take in the atmosphere. It did not disappoint. Atmosphere is amazing with the art installations, decor and experience. The food itself was good. This being my first visit I really haven't sampled the menu so I can only base off the one dish I had. It was good but nothing spectacular. I do look forward to going back and trying more and spending time in this enchanting space. I will update this review after my next visit.

We just walked around the sculpture Garden and tried to wait in line for some food, but the line was too long. I really like the sculpture garden. It has more than enough things to look at for a good hour, especially if you manage to get some food and eat it in there.

This place is a treasure of Riverside. A restaurant and a art museum of sorts all in one. There is plenty to see. I ordered the Taco Salad with chicken. It was a nice size. I couldn't eat it all. It was okay. The shell was fried well, the beans and rice good, the chicken tasted pretty good. It's not cubed, it's sliced. But it was pretty good. I also ordered a shrimp taco. I ate all of that and it was delicious! Plenty of shrimp. The shells were soft and handmade. I feel one is a meal on it's own, which may be the reason I could not eat all the taco salad. They have a good variety of Agua Frescas. I ordered a Cucumber one. It was too sweet for me, but it was delicious. I do recommend you visit Tios for some delicious eats. You may have to wait in a line, but it's worth it. Make sure you take pictures, you will find no other place like it!

I came across this restaurant by coincidence, suggested by a bystander in Riverside, and it did not disappoint. Their tacos were great but their fish/mojarra was the best. It was well seasoned and tasty. (I do recommend you order it fresh and just slightly fried.) other than that enjoy the various recycled art. Very creative.

Atmosphere is astonishing. The artwork the owner Martin Sanchez display inside and outside the resturant is a must see! The food is delish but i ordered flautas, and it was more like taquitos. But was still good. Shredded beef tacos my husband ordered is excellent, along with the taco shells. The shrimp burriot was huge and very good. I love the agua frescas, a good variety is always best, with additional toppings at .50c cannot be beat. I want to bring family here for the experience as well as the food.

Tio’s Tacos is an interesting place — in the best way. I love the concept and the story behind it. Walking around, you’ll see so many unique art pieces made entirely from discarded materials. Definitely stroll through the space while you wait for your food; there’s a lot to take in. We ordered taco plates and aguas frescas. Service was fast, the staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The food was decent — nothing standout, but not bad either. The wide selection of aguas frescas was a highlight and made for the perfect drink on a warm day as we wandered through the property. Worth a visit if you’re looking for something unique, creative, and a little unexpected.

Food Quality is 4/5, Service is 0/5. I ordered a bowl and did a substitution of guacamole for beans. I was told this would be fine. Then waiting. 5 hrs for the food I saw that double rice was substituted. When I inquired I was then told it was an upcharge. The restaurant is unprofessional and did nothing to fix the order. For their mistake they should have comped the guacamole. Don't eat here the staff are not smart and unresourceful.

Workers were good but my friend got a cock roach in his shrimp cocktail and can't give a star above 1 after that.
