Amazing experience! I was in town visiting my parents and on our way back from Padre Island we decided to stop at this restaurant. The food and service was amazing. Jason was our server and he was fantastic! The food was delicious, the live music was excellent, food portions were large and prices were great. I will definitely come here again, next time I'm on town.

I had an ugly Christmas sweater dinner here. The service, food and atmosphere were all great. The staff definitely took great care of us all night. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Overall great food and perfect dining experience We decided to stop in and try the pizza. It definitely exceeded expectations. There are so many other dish options to choose from as well. The prices are very fair. The restaurant is clean and up to date. The wait staff did a great job and were attentive to our needs.

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant. The food is amazing and the price is reasonable too. Portions are large, plenty to have next day as leftovers. The atmosphere is a bit cold, modern which is rare in Italian restaurants but the food and service makes up for the coziness.

Margherita pizza was very good, pizza dough is A+ awesome. The temporary location is tough to find and not somewhere eat in, but I will definitely go out of my way for a pie. Have to get the 30in next time!

It was nice to be back. The place looks great. Stopped in for lunch. We were a little taken back cause the sign at the entrance said reservations for dine in but the place was empty and they let us in. Not sure what that was about. Service was immediate and consistent. Drinks were taken and then the order right after. Wife and I decided to share a meal. We had the Discovery of Italy. Excellent meal with great flavor. Plenty for the two of us. Double chicken Parm over spaghetti with meat sauce, fettuccine Alfredo and a slice of lasagna.Everything tasted the same as we remember it. Looking forward to coming back. The only thing I didn't really like was the open concept of the dining room. Feels like more of a cafeteria and less homey.

The server was courteous and genuinely helpful. The chicken on the salad was a bit dry but tasty.

The bread for the regular pizza is top notch. The marinera is well executed. The ingredients are fresh. The cauliflower crust leaves a lot to be desired. It is a little flat and over crisp. The spinach dip could use garlic, salt, and Asiago or parmessian cheese. Still a great place to eat.

We’ve loved Stefano’s since it opened. We’re locals and we come to Stefano’s often, so I didn’t take any food pics today (miracle 🤣). Food is always on point tho. BUT TONIGHT, our server provided thee BEST service we’ve ever had here. We could tell Michael had a busy night, yet he managed to treat us super friendly & gave the best treatment ever. Best part was that he had us laughing all night long. He made us feel at home. When we return for dinner, we’re definitely asking for him to serve us. #askforMichael :)

Finally came to the remodeled Steffanos. Upon entry we were happily greeted by the hostess! The place inside looks way different from the old burned restaurant. The place is way bigger and has a separated dinning area for huge parties. The food is delicious and the pizzas are fire oven cooked. The prices are not expensive like other pizza joints! I highly recommend this place if you are tempting good pizza!!

I attended a wedding at the dance hall in Stefano's and the event was great! The dinner plate I was told was prepared by Stefano's and it was delicious including the dessert which was cheesecake. Stefano's pizza is simply outstanding! We ordered a supreme and meat lovers. My family loved both pizzas. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. People, this pizza is super tasty. Its not your average pizza chain style pizza, its made fresh. The Brooklyn style crust is delicious! Cant wait to drive to Harlingen for some more STEFANO'S!

I absolutely love visiting Steffanos! It’s our go-to spot for all our celebrations because the restaurant is just so beautiful. The food is always delicious, and the kids get to enjoy their favorite dishes from the kids' menu. Plus, the service is fantastic—our waitstaff is always so friendly and attentive. It’s just a great place to make wonderful memories!

I think Stefano's is more known for their Pizza but their pasta is the real star. I had their Spinach rolled Lasagna which was rather tasty and for dessert tried their Nutella Cannoli which was unique. My only constructive criticism would be on their rolled Lasagna. The waitress informed me the chicken (for 2 dollars extra) would be placed on top and not mixed in. When I got it the chicken was mixed in. She explained this was likely because they weren't too busy so the chef mixed it in. They should mix it in all the time. This was WAY better than them just plopping the chicken breast on top of the Lasagna. Being mixed in it blended nicely with everything else. All in all a good meal.

I have only been here twice, both times I very much enjoyed with my gf. Food was deliciously awesome. Service was good manager would also check up on us making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Prices are reasonable and on the weekends I believe they have live music. They have a patio for outside dining. Plenty of tables inside and there's always the bar as well. This my new favorite Italian restaurant.

Took our son out to dinner for his 6th birthday and let me tell you between our waiter Humberto and pizza chef Aaron, my little one had an amazing birthday experience. They gave him a hair net and an apron so he can join Aaron in the kitchen to make his own pizza from scratch. He loved it and so did we. Service and food was amazing. Thank you Stefanos 😊

First of like to say the food here is pretty good. I'm from New York and it's pretty close to the food I would get back home. Most importantly our waitress Leslie is one of the best servers we've had since moving to the valley. She's really nice and helpful with the menu items. She has perfect timing when our table needs attention. Not over pushy, she's not constantly asking if we need anything. As a restaurant owner myself, she is the ideal waitress and is worth every penny she gets paid. I hope everyone tips this person generously. Al long as she works here, I'll be a regular customer.

It was my first time to Stefano's, and I was there for a baby shower. It has Always been a Beautiful atmosphere, clean and fresh with friendly and helpful staff.

Finally got to check this place out. Last couple of times we tried the wait list was beyond what our hungry bellies would allow us to wait…lol But I can see why! This place was an excellent choice! The ambiance was awesome! The food was delicious and served very quickly! The portions are true to their Italian roots. We had enough for two meals. And even the leftovers tasted great reheated! Prices very reasonable. Our server was awesome! Good job Nadia! She even helped me pick out a great beer from their extensive selection. The outdoor patio was very cool! We look forward to coming this weekend when we go back for the live bands. Overall great experience! Pizza was epically delicious, as was the pasta. This is the Cajun chicken and Cajun seafood pasta with the white pizza.

We held our daughter's graduation dinner here. All our guests were treated so amazingly well by Kass and Kaylee. Great job ladies! The food was so flavorful and served at a timely manner. A huge Thank You Stefano's for making this a night to remember for our daughter. Over all a perfect experience and memory for our celebration!!

This place is on 🔥. Reminds me of NYC Pizza.. Same flavor, same taste, same epic cheese. Chicken Alfredo, and Philly Cheese steak is the best. I tried out their location in Weslaco and can't get enough. Every time I drive by I pick up a Pizza Pie......

It was just as good as before! We had some lemon pepper and garlic parm wings as an appetizer. They were big wings with lots of flavor! We shared a small 10 in pizza, which was really good. I had the Carne amor ziti, and my wife had the chicken Alfredo. Both were excellent. The portions were huge. It's big enough to share. The staff is a little new but did an awesome job! We loved that Stefanos is back. The new building was really nice.

I ordered for delivery an 18" Inch New Yorker Meat Lover's, minus ham, extra bacon, adding one topping of bacon, and a 16" Inch Surpreme. The pizzas were hot , fresh, and the delivery driver was nice. I'll be ordering on a regular basis.

My boyfriend and I have gone two times and we have tried the jalapeño popper pizza, The chicken, bacon ranch pizza, The brisket pizza, and some mozzarella pizza. ALL 10/10! It’s super elegant and romantic on the inside too!

I’ve been here twice, and all I can say is WOW! First off, the variety. This place has sooo many dishes, so many types pizza, it is INSANE! And guess what? Each and every one is delicious. I’ve ordered a variety of pizzas from here, pastas, appetizers, etc, and I can say Stefanos never misses. I love their eggplant parmigiana, and of course the signature garlic knots. Their sauces are to die for, and I love the options. The atmosphere: beautiful. The restrooms are always clean, the tables are always nicely set, THIS is how you have lunch or dinner! I’ve had pretty good service every time, sometimes the staff is meh, but the majority of servers and hostesses are lovely. Forget Olive Garden, come here.

This was the first time here, and our server Cesar was GREAT! The Italian nachos were massive and delicious. The brick oven pizza was huge, and amazing. I highly recommend. Great prices, and definitely left overs to take home.

We had a wonderful experience for our first visit. The food was fresh and delicious. Ordered white pizza, meat lovers calzone, spaghetti and meatballs, a Greek salad, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was perfect. Also, the chef gave our sons pizza dough and pans to "play" with. Once they got their pizza shape, he really made their experience by topping and baking the pizza dough they had made :) they absolutely loved it and felt like pizza heros! This was my first time at Stefano’s, and it definitely won’t be my last! I came for a party, and everything from start to finish was amazing. The food was hands-down delicious — from the appetizers (fried mushrooms, wings, mozzarella sticks, and Caesar salad) to the pizza and main dishes. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, and it was absolutely delicious. Our server took care of a table of about 10 people and never missed a beat. Arrived at 1pm, and it was pretty spacious during a work week, and we were seated immediately. Just a note, the to go is the front of the building, by Business 83, and the main dining is in the back with its own parking and entrance. It was our first visit, and we got confused at first, but there were signs and helpful staff to point us in the right direction. Servers were pleasant and came by at regular intervals to check on us and our meals. Our main meals did take a little longer than we thought they might but was fine because we didn't have to feel rushed, but if you are on a time limit for work lunch break you are warned 😉. The serving sizes are big for the price pay, which is fantastic! I love getting seafood pastas and was happy to see that the Bruno Seafood Fet. wasn't just seafood on top, it was all mixed in and a little of a treasure hunt.

Had dinner last night at Stefano’s and it did not disappoint. Ordered the brisket pizza with jalapeños it was delicious. Started off with fried mushrooms and some cheese sticks for the kids. I was so happy to finally visit this location again after the reopening. Our server was Ali, and she had a bright smile and such a good vibe with helpful recommendations. Take out is always a little hectic. They have mixed up my order more than once. Teenagers get confused easily these days. Food is good though. Take the good with the not so good.

This was recommend so we thought we would try it on a Sunday afternoon. This place is very big with large private party space and a big outdoor section. Our waitress was okay - brought our appetizer with our meal and her "check back" was thrown out as she walked by "every thing okay?"...without waiting to hear answer. Did not try to sell us dessert which was fine with us. There were two of us and we had a small ceasar salad, small order of 5 wings, and a 14 in supreme pizza. The meal came with 4 garlic knot rolls with marina sauce - very good. The ceasar salad was fresh with shredded parmesan. The wings, which are available in many flavors and different amounts, were excellent. We got the mango habanero- which had a kick but were not so strong that they burned out taste buds. Would certainly order again. The pizza was great - with a nice crisp crust. It had several meats and veggies and we were able to customize a bit. For drinks I had the raspberry sparkling water - which had a hint of raspberry flavor and not real carbonated. My husband had their Stefanos margaritas- which had good flavor. Our bill without tip came to $34.06. Looking around the Italian dishes looked good and people seemed to be enjoying them. The mozzarella sticks (appetizer) at one table were hardly touched so that may be an issue. I would give the food a 5 and service a 3. Would go back

Great pizza! We ordered the 16" and 14" pizzas and felt those were pretty good sizes to share amongst 6 people. My wife ordered a side Cesar salad and said she loved it; my father ordered their seafood soup and also enjoyed it (and he is picky, so that's saying alot!). This really is a great restaurant and they recently revamped their waiting area so it is way more spacious than it used to be.

Amazing experience at Stefano's. Their new location was a bit hard to find, but onve I found it, i was set. I got my order to go, but the drive did not diminish the food in the slightest. This is one of the best pizzas that i have had since I left the East Coast. The cheese bread and calzone were also tasty. The one slight disappointment was the wings, but truly, this place does not disappoint. Will definitely return when in the area.

I have ordered food from here many times and it has always been very good. Except this one time I tried the chicken wings and they still had feathers. I might not order wings for a while but the rest of the food is excellent. I still recommend them. UPDATE: 09-01-2024. I received a follow-up phone call from the owner regarding my review and he made things right. This is what customer service is all about. Local businesses keeping their customers coming back. As I wrote on my original review, I still recommend them and will keep going back for more awesome food.

This is our first visit since their re-opening. The restaurant is beautiful, relaxing,and the staff was excellent. The food was very good, but not quite as good as before fire, although we will still return, it's still our favorite Italian restaurant in the valley.

We haven't visited this place in almost 2 years. When we went it was not great food service was horrendous the waitress spent the whole time that we were there on her phone instead of serving us. So we were extremely hesitant to go. But a family member said it's changed it's so much better let's just try it. Food was really good We had everything from pasta to pizza to a Philly cheese steak sandwich even or dessert The only thing that I would have a suggestion for is we had the fried zucchini which was excellent but my suggestion would feed you half each current spear that way it could be breaded more coverage and I think it would be crunchier. Our server was great she was refilling our drinks and we weren't even noticing it. Lol

Order a sandwich, half meatball n half chicken mozzarella. There was so much sauce, sandwiches fell apart. Chicken was dry, meatballs were also not that good. Server said meatballs were made fresh in-house but that was hard for me to believe. The restaurant looks nice inside. The menu is huge leaving to question, how many times do they get it right!

Great staff , took friends out here for the first time , they had lasagna and mozzarella sticks which both was good , my best friend had a personal pizza and fried fish , scallops and shrimp which she liked , she wasn't impressed with the pizza but she's picky , I had the Cajun seafood pasta which honestly was disappointed in , didn't have enough seafood and the pasta wasn't textured right , like it needed more time to cook and the sauce was not flavored or spicy enough but overall I might give them another chance one day , oh I didn't notice until I was leaving but they had a band playing outside

Glad to see this restaurant rose from the ashes but that's about where the positive experience ends. The building is new, open, and inviting. Insurance sure is a good thing! The food, in our opinion was nothing like prior to the fire. We were deeply disheartened! Seems like the effort was placed on the building and not the menu. We love to support local businesses whenever possible. Unfortunately, Stefano's new taste doesn't match the rebuild. Plotted. Scouts Out.

I haven't been to Stefano's in a good while, and I was hoping for an authentic redesign with exceptional food as the former establishment offered. However, I was severely disappointed. To start, when you walk in, it's evident that the building has taken a more modern approach to the resturant. Normally I wouldn't be opposed to it or even bat an eye at the change. The massive hole in the concept is instead of a Contemporary Italian style resturant, it feels like you're sitting in a mall food court. The atmosphere is industrial, with slate colored walls that resemble a shipping container and beige bricks. The lighting feels out of place in a way, almost like the orbs hanging from the ceiling are trying to be something they're really not. The food is another story. While the pasta provides you with a perfect al dente and greasy bites. The food lacks flavor, and I wish there was more to rave about. Overall, I miss how homey and comfortable the former eatery was with arches and vineyard charm; and I can't see myself visiting again.

Although food was great. When we walked into facility I would expect to be greeted with a hello welcome. Young lady in the front did not greet us she had her head tilt down as in looking at her phone. Our ticket was more than $300 unfortunately I won't be returning soon 😢 due to the lack of customer service.

Ordered a Meat Lover Pizza to go and it was horrible. Not much meat and the sauce tasted awful. We threw it out. What happened Stefano's? I doubt if I will ever order pizza there again.

I from out of town and was visiting with my girlfriend, who is from the area. We decided to go here for a nice Sunday lunch. Overall experience at the restaurant was pretty good; however, the next day both of us were extremely sick. Fever, fatigue, diarrhea and vomiting. The works. This was the only place we ate out that weekend, so I highly doubt we got this from our home cooking. Looking at recent reviews, I saw that other people were claiming to be sick from this restaurant around the same time, so I am almost confident we got it from this establishment. Not trying to fear monger or anything. Simply just trying to warn people of the risk as it has been a couple days now and I still feel horrible. Will not be returning anytime soon.

We came from Brownsville to Stefanos because we had seen that they were helping Johnnys True Value with community support during their fire. We thought what a nice gesture on their part, let’s support them by dining there. Beautiful establishment unfortunately we were served by Diamond A. A server who did not want to be there today. We waited 20 minutes before she came by to take our beverage order. Another 15 minutes later she brought 3 sweet teas, WRING BEVERAGES. She just shrugged and left, no apology just a mad face. Another 15 minutes later she sent one wrong tea. She brought the pizza and one more replacement of tea. Pizza was good, but we never were asked if we wanted any thing else or more tea. If you get a server by the name of Diamond A. , please change your table or you will have terrible service. We were so disappointed with the service which was more of a zero than a one star.

In fairness they are doing a good deed. But come on get your act together not the first fundraiser. They make you wait in this hot room Where the cashiers are rude and don’t care they you have been waiting over an hour. Never again will order take out Don’t do it unless you don’t care how your treated and how long you wait.

giving them a one star is generous they used to have good food but I hadn’t ordered recently and when I did it was worst chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had on top of that I ordered extra chicken and they said they “didn’t read it right “ on top of that when I called was on hold for 20 minutes before they hung up on me recommended you don’t eat here

We come here probably once a month we drive all the way from Edinburg the server he was good the food of course was good, but there was a big party going on and when the people finished, they all gathered around our table, pressing into us talking over us and I felt like people were talking over our food management did nothing. I was very disappointed because yes, they paid a lot of money, but they did not need to gather to our table and we may not have paid the amount they paid, but we were still a customer and very disappointed that they allowed all these people to just kind of squish into us and it was very uncomfortable. Very disappointed

If there were a negative 5-star option, that’s what I would give for the interaction I had with the manager, Del. Congratulations Del, you just caused this business to have a 1 Star review. I asked to speak with her simply to offer constructive feedback about how understaffed the restaurant appeared to be. According to her, our food was 37 minutes late, which we had already been waiting for. From the very beginning of the conversation, Del spoke down to me and was immediately defensive. I expressed that a good leader apologizes, listens, and takes feedback to improve the business. At no point did I disrespect her, yet she responded with negative comments and abruptly walked away from the conversation. That behavior was very unprofessional, disrespectful, and unapologetic. To make matters worse, our food arrived with a hair in it—unfortunate timing on top of everything else. That said, our waiter Fred was outstanding. He went above and beyond, showed professionalism, and truly cared about our experience. Del could learn a lot from him. Victor, the other manager, was also excellent—he listened, apologized sincerely, and treated us with respect. What should have been a 3-minute, calm, and constructive conversation turned into an unnecessary confrontation because Del did not understand or accept customer frustration. This was simply meant to be positive criticism, nothing more. It’s sad a restaurant of this caliber has a manager like Del working for them and making the place look bad. Hopefully she can change her attitude and understand what constructive criticism really means.

We drove about 20 miles to try this place and were extremely disappointed. We arrived around midday when a kitchen should be operating at full capacity only to be told we couldn’t be seated because the kitchen was understaffed and food was taking too long. They said we had to wait for certain tables to open just to place an order, which made absolutely no sense.

I had heard great things about Stefanos’s restaurant and decided to try it out today. Drove from Edinburg to Harlingen to try it out for the first time. My wife had the smoked Gouda chicken and The chicken was delicious but the mashed potatoes were cold as if they had been served out of the refrigerator and I had the fried shrimp plate which I do not recommend. We Mention the cold mashed potatoes to the waitress, and by the time she came for Them my wife had already finished the chicken. The asparagus was not properly cooked. It was hard and cold as well. For the first time going out and trying it there, I don’t think I will return.
