Lovely restaurant, great friendly, professional service. Burrata with rocket and tomatoes for starter - delicious. Gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce for main - very tasty and a fabulous dessert served on a wooden board - pistachios walnuts, meringue, Italian biscuits, honey, espresso, a couple of liqueurs - arranged beautifully. Thoroughly recommend.

After our long hike last July 13th we googled nearby restaurants for our dinner and That’s Amore was the first choice! Most of the Staff were welcoming especially Simona - I am not sure if I spelt it right. The food 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and the service is commendable! If you love Italian cuisine and you are nearby, That’s Amore is worth to visit and eat!

A great choice of food but hey, it’s Italian so I had to have pizza! What a pizza, the Poker Pizza was four types in one, including a quarter of panzerotti (deep fried). My rum baba desert was light and delicious, melt in the mouth. Staff were attentive and friendly (shout out to our waitress Poppy for making my wife’s birthday very special!) We had an amazing evening, great food great drinks!

We had such a great time at That's Amore! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food was incredible—honestly, it tasted even better than some of the meals I had in Rome! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommend this lovely Italian restaurant. Had my first visit here a few days ago at lunchtime. Sat outside and enjoyed the sun. Fresh beautifully presented food which tastes just how Italian food should. Friendly service, will definitely be returning! :)

Delicious food and great value! The seafood platter and fish (£46 for two) were fresh and generous, the kids’ menu was perfect, and both the pizza and pasta were outstanding. Warm service and a cosy Italian atmosphere – highly recommend!

My wife is a life long vegan. Starter - YES, Main Course - YES, Dessert - YES . Party of 7 and my lovely wife actually managed a superb full meal without being an inconvenience or the 'odd one out' . Well done and Thank you. We will be back.

Cristina & Domenico and the team are fantastic hosts, perfect for a relaxing time and authentic Italian Food made by proper Sicilians They have been so accommodating to me, my family, my friends whether it is a table of 2 or 6 and even to give extra space after foot surgery. We ordered a last minute takeaway order for 25 pizzas for a birthday party. The whole team were fabulous, really really helpful. Not only in the restaurant but also helping us with our order to the car. Very attentive and friendly. The pizzas were absolutely delicious! Really grateful, thank you for your last minute help, super hospitality and delicious food!

Mamma mia what a pizza!!! Delicious, not expensive and biiiig. If you are looking for a proper, authentic Italian pizza No need to look any further. I’m about to explode but cant stop eating its so tasty! Bravo guys. Will definitely be ordering again. And they have Vegan options too!!!! I honestly cannot understand why people order Dominos or Papa Johns when places like that exists.

Speedy Food made us some amazing pizza's for our wedding which didn't disappoint. They made the day extra special and everyone loved the pizza's. You won't be disappointed going with speedy food.

What a great Italian Restaurant in the heart of the village of Lindfield. The staff very attentive and knowledgeable of all the dishes. Great atmosphere and with Halloween 👻 soon, the decorations very spooky, perfect for a party. We ordered Gnocchi Pesto & Pasta Bolognaise, brilliant 🤩 and exceptional! To accompany the meal a tasty salad with black olives. Well worth a visit and going back soon 😋

We had our daughters 7th birthday party there and it was brilliant. The staff were so helpful and great with the kids. The pizza was delicious as well. Would highly recommend.

Lovely well cooked food with really welcoming service . Much nicer option than Italian or Pizza options in Haywards Heath . Highly recommend .All 3 courses delicious. Give it a try as a very good Italian option in area .

This is a gem of a restaurant and I’ve been 10 or more times now over the last year and I keep finding something else I like. The food has always been perfect and the service is incredible. Whether they’re busy or quieter the service is the same. I’m not one for reviews but they really deserve the 5 stars and I will be continuing to visit .

Hungry tourist from the Netherlands here. We had 3 great pizzas from this place. Good stuff. They know what they’re doing. Very friendly and welcoming staff. 6 out of 5 stars as far as I am concerned. Very nice pizza dough. Good toppings. We will hopefully return.

That’s Amore, a Sicilian restaurant just off the High Street in Lindfield, West Sussex, is an absolute gem! The staff are cheerful and welcoming, making you feel at home immediately. The owners/managers are friendly and attentive, and regularly check in to make sure all is well. The interior decor is light and attractive, the conservatory area is very pleasant in the summer. Then the food - spectacular! I tried That’s Amore’s menu one lunchtime, and it was so delicious my friend and I decided that when we were back we’d have lunch there every day! And we did, and it continued to be spectacular. The flavours are fresh and punchy, and the presentation very good indeed. The highlights are too numerous to mention, but do try the starter Sicilian rice ball with tomato sauce that will set your taste buds tingling. If you’re a meat-eater, the fillet steak with red wine reduction and mushrooms was the best steak I’ve had in a very long time; and the accompanying chips were delicious! Their pizzas are very fine too; I particularly enjoyed the capriccio spicy. Portions are generous, so good value for money all round. There is a weekday lunchtime fixed-price menu (advertised on their board outside) as an alternative to the main menu. There’s a separate dessert menu to tempt you if you have room after your main course - which you may not! (And by the way, the staff will always box-up your leftovers for you to take home if you ask). The ice-cream’s gorgeous, and you can buy it to take out as well. We had the coffee and chocolate specials, huge and decadent; pistachio tartufi is very tasty as is the chocolate souffle with mango ice cream. If you’re local to Lindfield, please support this excellent little restaurant. Book in advance if you can, as this helps them with staffing levels. If you’re passing through, do give it a try as I’m certain you won’t be disappointed.

I went to That’s Amore for the first time just over a month ago, and I’ve been back twice since then. Every time I visit, I’m welcomed warmly by the waitress, and they’re always so good with my little one. The food is great—even my chef partner, who is usually very critical, loves it. It’s also my little one’s favorite place to eat. I love that it feels authentically Italian. For a Spaniard like me, it’s great having authentic Mediterranean food. I’ve had two different waitresses, and although I only know the name of one, Simona, both have been fantastic. The prices aren’t cheap, but nothing is cheap nowadays. However, the experience and quality make it definitely worth it.

We booked the pizza party for my wife’s birthday we had 3 adults and 3 kids in our party. It was an absolute blast! From kneading dough to choosing toppings, every moment was filled with laughter and fun. The atmosphere was lively, the ingredients were fresh, and the pizzas turned out incredibly delicious. It was a fantastic way to bond with family while learning a new skill. Highly recommend for anyone who loves good food and good company! Grazie for a memorable experience! Just had an etna pizza delivered and well that's the closest Italian pizza I've had other than being there in Rome! The heat from the nduja was like peering yiur head over etna itself a right little kicker! The tomato on the pizza was a mouth festival of Italian flavour with the mozzarella so much so that I'm booking a ticket to the coliseum to do a gyrating pizza dance! 10/10

Nice food and dessert slightly cheaper than pizza express

Went in for two pizzas and drinks, we were placed around the corner and likely forgotten about as no drinks/food order taken for over 10 minutes. Pizzas given to us and then we were not checked on until we wanted to leave, we asked for the bill and had to go up to pay as again not checked up on. Pizzas were nice, fresh basil and dips would have been a good addition, there are better pizzerias around. One of the only times I’ve asked to remove the service charge automatically put on the bill, this is as the basics of service weren’t met, however it wasn’t unpleasant thus 2/5.

Bolognaise was watery. Like there was a puddle in my bowl. Had such high hopes as service and location was 5 star, kitchen let it down though.

I ordered a takeaway margarita pizza with only a tiny bit of tomato sauce and cheese for my little boy. I got home and then pizza was mostly tomato sauce, hardly any cheese. I had to wipe it all off basically serve him bread for dinner. The toppings on my pizza were such bad quality that they were tasteless! The only thing you could taste were the terrible mixes herbs that they put on top of everything. Never going back!
