Me and a friend went on Wednesday bingo night. We did not win but the atmosphere was so nice. The food was delicious. We had a good time. Thank you
Really enjoyed the food here. The salad was fresh with really good Ranch dressing. The pasta dish with chicken was sooo good and nice portion size. Homemade pumpkin pie with real whipped cream was delicious. Bought a chocolate cream pie to go. The service was excellent. Will definitely return.
I won a pie this month. I got strawberry banana. It was amazing it's perfect for this weather. Looked amazing taste amazing. My whole family loved it. The people there are amazing and kind it also smells so good. Can't wait to go again.
First time at this Polly’s Pies! Didn’t know what to expect but when we walked in, everything looked very nice and clean. Was definitely pleased with the look of this restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and greeted us and walked us to our table. I was hoping to have the turkey dinner but they didn’t have it so I went with the Salisbury Steak and I was very happy and satisfied with my choice. We both ordered the wedge salad and oh my so delicious! Food was excellent and service was very nice. We love their corn bread and butter that goes with it! If you’re looking for a great meal that feels like it was homemade then you must come and try their food! We were too full for dessert, so we decided to take a strawberry cream pie and it was so delicious!
It’s been a really long time since I have gone to a Polly Pie’s, so when my husband drove by it he insisted we drop in and have lunch and I am so glad he did. My mom and I used to come and have mom and daughter date lunches together when I was a young child. I absolutely loved this place growing up. They have a great food selection and the service is always very good. Our waitress Tamera was absolutely amazing and so good with my youngest daughter and made her feel very special. She was courteous and friendly and always had a smile on her face. She made us feel like longtime friends and was so cheerful and prompt with her service. This was definitely the highlight of the restaurant was the customer service provided by her. I wish this was the way most restaurants treated their customers, as it was a huge part I am giving them a 5 star review. The food of course was as good, as I remember it as a child. I had a Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, southern styled green beans and a roll. My hubby got the Philly cheesesteak and fries and my little girl went all out and got a big bowl of fruit and a milk. The best part about the steak was it was a great size portion and not one of those little thin patties you’ll sometimes get, so I was very happy to see them giving a generous portion of meat. Potatoes obviously one of my favorite sides was amazing and just the right amount of gravy and the green beans, spectacular. If you ever haven’t tried southern green beans, go try them. They are amazing! I make them at home all the time with my family and all 8 kids we have from ages 2-23 years love them. Anyways, as far as cleanliness, they do a very impressive job with making sure the restaurant was kept clean, even though I believe they may have had a car hit the side of their building. I didn’t think too much about that though, as it is in Hemet and Hemet doesn’t always have the best people living there. Besides, it looked like they were almost done with restoration and they were doing an amazing job keeping everything clean and tidy. I only mention this though, as if you follow my review and go try the food yourself you may wonder why that wasn’t mention. I’m telling you though from the looks of how many people where their having lunch’s and breakfast, no one seemed to mind at all and neither did I. Can’t blame them for someone else’s mistakes. I’m just keeping my eyes on what and how they did. Prices to are very reasonable and that is always appreciated. All in all, definitely making this my come to spot and maybe make it my daughters and I regular attendees of this establishment. Thank you all for making this stop a pleasure!
Fast and nice, personable service. Good food from the southern pimiento cheese dip to the dry rub wings. The original root beer wings had a small hint of root beer flavor, but they’re otherwise still good. My son didn’t like his mac n cheese but he’s picky, it’s just fine. We didn’t leave with a slice of pie on this trip, but we definitely will next time.

A Hemet favorite. Definitely the best pies. It's a nice sit down restaurant and I will give the waitstaff four stars, but you might be in luck and get a five star waitress. I've been dining here …
Polly's is a consistently great place to break bread with friends. The place is clean. The service is friendly. The food is always tasty, especially their pies.
Really good food also service and drinks nice and clean it's really quiet and peaceful

We tried three different pies. The olallieberry was unique and tasty. The coconut cream was delicious. The peach pie had a soggy crust but the filling tasted good.
Our server Sarah was wonderful. We arrived on a holiday and you could tell she was busy but she constantly checked on us along with all her other tables. We did have a slight issue with one of our orders and she quickly corrected it. Wonderful and fast service :) the eggs Benedict was delightful

I like the remodel of the inside of the restaurant. it's nice and up-to-date. The food was okay. Tasted like they had made it the day before and reheated it. But it was good
The service is not very good here, in our last few visits!! The waitresses attitudes are sometimes good and sometimes they can be quite testy. When you go to Angie's down the street on Florida, the food and service is much better. I guess that we will have to patronize Angie's in our future restaurant visits. Food was just OK here at Polly's. Fried chicken sandwich had little flavor, Polly Burger was good, fries on both orders were not the best that we have had. They are supposedly noteworthy on their pies; not the case !! My cherry pie crust on the bottom was not done; half cooked. My wife's apple crisp was also half done on the bottom. Both pies lacked flavor in the crust; no buttery flavor. You can not cut corners on bakery items by using lower quality products or the lack of the proper amounts of good baking ingredients. It's not good pie anymore, and we have come here for over 20 years. Good luck and best wishes Polly's.
I haven't been here in years but came with my grandparents for breakfast. They remodeled the restaurant and it looks much more modern and has a nicer aesthetic. They have both a breakfast and lunchmenu. That is fairly expansive and a special as menu for lunch. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Food is okay, nothing magical but a decent meal. Pastries are pretty good though! If your in the area and are looking for a quiter place to enjoy a meal with people it's a solid pick.
4-13-2024 No wait and the staff was nice enough. Group of 6 The salads in the 3 for $15 & $3+ liquids were decent size; the offerings for the price seem a little high when compared to their parking lot competition at chilis but the wait time there brought us here. The mains were ok, I might go with a protein more than a pasta next time; although the pasta tasted fine; that bang for the buck screams get a burger; if only they had a chicken sandwich; would have went that direction instead. I liked the lemon pie, nice and sweet to cleanse the pallet post meal Pro tip: Cell phone reception in the restaurant is really poor so if you have a coupon or call to make do it in the parking lot prior to entering 1-2020 Had the Polly's burger on wheat; tasted decent and the meat quality was good. Also a breakfast wheat pancake meal; all were good. Service is still good and the staff is on point even during busy hours and sometimes tricky clientele. 2 People with water and coffee is about $23
The food was very good. The problem that I only have with the place is that the only thing you get free to drink is water and coffee. They charge you $$$$ for the strawberry lemonade, and I believe and $$$$ per soft drink. So this is not the place to take kids to or like myself an adult. Considering that alcohol is only maybe $$$$ cents more and since I don't drink alcohol it seems like it's cheaper to go somewhere else to drink and eat. Service was outstanding our waitress was on call she took care of everything we had to order and got there fast and hot recommended different things to take with us to have with us to eat and it was greatly appreciated. The white zinfandel they no longer serve. The Rose wine is extremely extremely dry if that's what you like then you'll like it.
Value's not quite there, portion sizes are a little small for the price. Went with a sandwich this round and it tasted like a sandwich so it was OK I guess. Fries always need help make sure to pour…

Have been eating at Pollys for more than 30 years and my favorite sandwich is the Polly Melt. Very disappointed on my last visit that they no longer have rye bread. If you no longer have rye bread …
Haven't been here in a while and won't be back! It was not busy when we got here and got sat right away. An empty dining room and they sat us right next to the kitchen doors. We waited for a while to get our drinks and they sat another table behind us. The waitress got their food and drink order before us. Our food actually came out very fast. But the food itself was meh. My dad got the prime rib skillet and it was laughable, cause their was hardly and meat. I had more bacon and sausage on my skillet than he did. Mine was cold, the cheese wasn't even melted. Our waitress never once checked on us. I had to ask someone walking by for a spoon for my coffee, and a refill on our drinks. I needed extra napkins, ketchup, and no waitress until the end when she wanted to drop the bill and sell us a pie. Even the cashier was not friendly and my elderly father was disappointed with their lack of service. Yet he was still worried about leaving a decent tip. Will not be back!
Poor service, no refills for coffee or anyone to check on us for 30+ minutes while we waited for food. Server said they dont make fried eggs, requested over medium/easy like shown on the menu and brought out over hard (might as well have ordered scrambled) Hashbrowns burned on the outside, raw on the inside. Breakfast burrito had minimal to no meat and was WET/soggy. No seasoning inside, very bland. Steak was decent but overall very sad at the quality for paying $100 for a family of 4.
I know I've posted a review a year ago . Which was great . But this year Our son went to pick up a Boysenberry pie for My birthday yesterday and the Pie was terrible. Over crispy, over baked and way to much sugar. So very disappointing !! Going back to the Norco restaurant. My husband ate it .
Polly Pies is a great place to eat but the waitress Pebbles I've had like three times, today was the 4th every time I have her she's rude never gets the order correct doesn't take accountability today when my son and I went in he ordered a polly melt she said a Polly Burger and he said no I only order the Polly Melt every time I come in lo and behold once again she gets the order incorrect and brings him the polly Burger. I should say somebody else brought it to the table she took our order then she went on a break without telling us she was going on a break so somebody else brought us our order we said the order is incorrect so the manager came to the table he gave us the correct order nobody came to check on us afterwards she didn't let us know she was going on a break. Pebbles the waitress is absolutely horrible as I said this is the fourth time we've had her and the fourth time are order was incorrect she is absolutely rude doesn't listen and takes no accountability forgetting the order incorrect how she keeps a job is beyond me. Next time we go in I refuse to have her as a waitress.

Hello to Polly's owner or manager Yesterday I ate at your restaurant and it was the worst service I received from and older waitress by the name of Stephanie. She walked up to us took our drink order and didn't even look us in the eye the whole service. She also criticize my daughter who wanted sour dough bread to go because she had biscuits and gravy. No refills on drinks asked for extra syrup got one when asked for two , no bag for our to go food, no silverware.. Last week service was the bomb .But she needs to be shadow and retrained on how it doesn't hurt to smile and acknowledge your customers.
My wife and I came in for lunch and they were a little busy, they wrote our name down and we asked for a booth and she said okay. Our name was called and by the same person that took our name down led us to be seared at a table, which we did not want. I told her we asked for a booth not a table so she said that we can go back and sit down till one was available. Meanwhile 2 families were let in and sat at booths and she came back and said that I can seat you at a table if you want. At that point I told her that we've been waiting for a booth and you sat 2 families at a booth and we were there before them. She proceeded to tell me that booths were for families not for just 2 people, at that point I told her I'll go eat somewhere else and we left. Unbelievable plus she had a little bit of an attitude which I didn't appreciate. We will never ever go back there and that was the first time we have been there, never again !! Applebee's got our business and they were absolutely wonderful. Great service and everything. Polly's Pies will never get our business, ever !!
Well let me just start off by saying the first time my husband and I ate here we didn’t know they did bingo nights on Wednesdays so we stayed for bingo he ordered the chicken sandwich I ordered a pot pie and he started getting sick he took maybe 3 bites and ran to the restroom to throw up i took a bite of my pot pie and told the server the food was cold and not good at all so I didn’t eat it we get home I start throwing up we both became very sick afterwards eating here I wouldn’t recommend BUT we return to play bingo and every time we’ve gone this is 2 weeks now going and when we show up they tell us we can’t be seated bcuz there’s no room to be seated umm I’m sorry there’s a whole other side of the restaurant and we can’t be seated after driving an hour to get there?! What kind of bs is that?! We show up early and on time and every time they tell us there’s no room but yet a whole other half of the restaurant dining area that we can easily be seated at????? Make that make sense!!! The servers are extremely rude i mean I’d hate my life too if I was a server and miserable but I don’t recommend this place at all they need a new cook new servers and overall just bad experiences every time we go
Ordered through Grubhub, it was our anniversary, simple people enjoy being at home. We have ordered from Polly Pies throughout the last couple of years. Our absolute favorite was Fish and Chips but apparently they discontinued it, so we compromised for Pollymelt which is suppose to be a patty melt. No where like a patty melt, no caramelized onions just barley cooked, the bread was very dry barley any butter on the bread, so I do not reccomend it, also did not come with French fries, we called the restaurant before we ordered to make sure the sandwich came with French fries and were told it did, it did not, was a good thing we ordered onion rings because thats all we got, along with some coleslaw. Extremely disappointing.
