Everything about this place from the food to the beautiful restaurant as soon as you walk in to the super attentive service is amazing! Our server is Xin, he was super attentive and helpful. Xin did a great job greeting us, checking on us, and being especially funny and friendly. Went here for my anniversary and truly enjoyed it. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

I really can't comment on the decor since I've never been in there, but their online ordering is great, and delivery was extremely prompt. The rolls we got were hellishly tasty, including the vegetable ones like avocado and sweet potato. Will definitely get delivery from them again.

This was my first time coming to a restaurant during COVID. Everyone was super welcoming and kind. They separated tables more than 6ft, each table hand hand sanitizer and they brought you a warm towel to wash your hands. The sushi was fresh and they had a lot of rolls to chose from. This may have became our go-to sushi spot.

I do dine in, delivery and pick up. I've never had an issue with either options. It's great food and reasonably priced. They remodeled and expanded about a year or two ago and the decor has an upscale look. They also offer lunch specials.

Truly had an incredible experience here. Very sleek and clean interior. My husband and I went for the first time with another couple who go often. Our server was so kind and attentive. My favorite sushi spot in the 5 towns! The Long Island beach roll is one of my favorites! Their fried rice is delicious! This is one of the only places I will eat sushi in NY. Dine in service is great and staff is very friendly! Have been going to this location since they opened! I highly recommend Xaga!

I should have reviewed this place years ago...given the fact that I have been coming here for over a decade when the place was a hole in the wall. This place has expanded and has stayed standing for a reason. Their sushi is ALWAYS fresh, their staff makes it a point to get to know you, and it's probably the best sushi I've had in all of NY....and I've had a lot. I will continue eating from here at least once a week (yes, I eat here at least once a week) until they decide to close their doors (which I hope is never)

I ordered lunch from Xaga and loved the California rolls, Tiffany rolls and shrimp tempura rolls. Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The delivery was prompt, and everything arrived in great condition. Highly recommend for sushi lovers!

Relatively deep menu, reasonably priced. Not an upper-crustie sushi place, more of a reliably good "let's have sushi tonight" place.

It taste like a different chef cooked the same dish with his recipe. I was there tonight and it was very good. What happens next time, who knows, but the shadow.

Decent early specials for various rolls and dumplings. It can add up if you are not careful, but still a good value. $3 beers and $5 house wine during this 4:30-6:30 specials time.

Good place for crazy sushi, the kind sushi masters would scorn but you just love because they are giant rolls with like 5 ingredients piled on top. Fish quality is pretty good, and the restaurant is nice and a little upscale but still leans more casual.

A bit over priced, but this IS hewlett... Good quality food, my personal favorite Spicy Crunchy Kani Salad in the 5 towns! But, my least favorite part is that they close weekdays from 3-4:30 and that's usually my lunch time!!!!

Good food, good service, nothing special though. A little on the pricey side for the food quality but the service more then makes up for it. Dinner there would get 3 Stars, the price just doesn't match the quality of the food. While nothing is bad or disappointing food wise it just isn't good enough to justify it over other sushi spots with better food and cheaper prices albeit slightly worse service. Lunch time there with the Lunch Specials though is amazing. It's not too crowded so the service is perfect and the prices for that level of service can't be beat anywhere near by. They have a wide enough variety of specials that you can go multiple times a week without getting bored and still try something new if you so desire.

The sushi is consistently good and the service is excellent. It is conveniently located with ample parking. It doesn't quite reach five stars as the price is a bit steep for the quality and good but not great imagination. Fun for night out with friends or on date. Cocktails are good, but again, not quite 5 star.

I've gone here a couple of times. It's been good until this recent visit. I guess, the regular sushi chef was off.

The dishes are definitely overpriced for their quality. There have been several times when I heard that there were rats and other health concerns. The employees nap in the restaurant during their break- do with that what you will.

Food was good but I did not like the staff wait staff coming around every 5 minutes asking if we were done eating. They did that to a few tables around us. I like to take my time and enjoy my food and the company. It was not even full.

Not vegetarian/pescatarian friendly. To substitute meat gyoza in the set menus they charge 2 dollars extra for a vegetarian option.

Sushi is great. Crispy duck roll is ok. Gyoza was great. Seafood Udon Soup is ok. Not worth the price. General Tso’s good but not worth the price. You can get better general tso at cheaper Chinese spots. Chicken Teriyaki didn’t taste anything like teriyaki. Must’ve given me the wrong order. Spicy mango chicken- wouldn’t know how to describe it because they gave me tofu curry instead. Lady on the phone said someone would drop it off in 30mins. It’s been 40mins and nothing yet. If you order from here. Stick to the sushi.

Currnt Update: Called to place $300 delivery order for lunch (11:30-3:00) and they were closed for lunch and it wasn’t even 3 PM yet!! How disappointing and upsetting. Smh!! ... fresh, tasty, and presentable. Early delivery was super fast. Fave is the Teriyaki Salmon Lunch Box! Salmon, sushi, tempura, rice, soup, salad;dont forget the spicy mayo!!

Food quality not that good which for sushi is scary.

Expect long wait times if ordering out, especially on Uber Eats. Their Uber app needs to be calibrated for this wait. Waiting over 20mins, when other Sushi places are practically no wait. Even when busy.

I went today for Mother’s Day and we were sitted right away and the food was okay but the only thing I didn’t like was the lady who took my order because I asked formally about the sashimi and she looked annoyed. She did not smile, rude and nor was helpful the whole time. Although the rest of the staff who served us were sweet and smiled! I literally got up when we finished paying and left my tip for the waiters who deserved it and not for that one lady. I will not be coming back by the way.Good service counts guys!

I had the Tom Yom soup delivered last week with sushi. The sushi was very good. The soup was overpriced for what I got. The were a few cut vegetables and 1 shrimp. Not a fair price, very disappointing.

Good food, nothing to complain about. Service is poor. First, we were 4 people, and for some inexplicable reason, we were brought both the appetizers and the main courses split, in a random manner. It was Sunday at 2:30 pm, and the restaurant was completely empty except 4-6 people. Despite this, they inexplicably rushed our meal. The waitress seem to be annoyed, disappeared after bringing the food, and to order a Sapporo I asked another employee who looked at me like I asked him some crazy stuff. When we were done with the main course, the waitress did not bother asking if we wanted any coffee or dessert. And the restaurant was even emptier than before. I will never go back there, so they won't get bothered.

Used to order from Xaga all the time, but just called to place a $200 order and they wouldn't make one substitution to a roll (that they always made for me before) because they are too busy. I guess they don't need the business after the quarantine...

Definitely sub par sushi with an attitude. Ordered off Uber eats and they completely messed up my order but refused to come and replace it because I went thru uber eats. Order from tobiko if u care about the food quality and customer service!!!

Terrible staff. Rush my meal. Gave me the check before I ask for it. What if I wanted a desert? I felt rushed and not loved by the staff. I can’t eat normally without them coming with a check asking for my money without patiently waiting.

I am an Uber eats driver. I picked up an order and the front desk lady is very rude. Seemed like no respect for delivery drivers (is it because we are not customers?) They need to change this behavior tho.

The worst sushi I have every had! The food was as awful as the takeout service. The lady at the register was rude. The Fried rice and crispy calamari was dry, tasteless and disgusting. I ended dumping $55 worth of food in the trash!! I would actually rate them as ZERO!!

Loved this place until they stop taking Apple or Google Pay… I ordered and was turned away because I didn’t have my physical card. Xaga is being cheap to pay the price of convenience to its customer. Instead I went down the block to Moca and they happily took my Apple pay. I guess my money is greener at Moca then at Xaga.

normally this place has some good food, today i ordered the shrimp wonton soup. this soup cost me $8.00 and i came with 2 tiny shrimps and the size of the soup was no larger than the $3.00 miso soup. I called them back about this order and they even claimed that they were breaded jumbo shrimp, all i can think is what a JOKE! ASK PRICE BEFORE ORDERING!!!

The food at Xaga Sushi used to be clean and fresh. Now it is disappointing. The spicy tuna pizza is cold and stiff. The sushi is not fresh either. The sushi chef is playing on his phone or chatting. I think the food made with such a work attitude must be unpalatable. There are many good Japanese sushi restaurants near Hewlett but I definitely don't recommend Xaga Sushi. Its current state is disappointing. I don't think I will come back again.
