I absolutely love this place so much. It's honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. I took the love of my life here and he loved the food just as much as I did. We ordered the burrata w prosciutto, arugula and cherry tomatoes and also the half lb lobster white wine garlic tomato pasta. The burrata is DELICIOUS and SO fresh. And I am honestly not a big fan of red sauce, but they absolutely executed the pasta with perfection. It was so yummy and the seafood was good! Service was impeccable as well. Pepe, our server, was so kind and friendly. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped us so much to guide us what to order. Everytime I come to Miami (we are from Arizona), I try to bring all my friends here. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have eaten here. Thank you, Pepe, and thank you Limencello, for an amazing and delicious date night. I would have licked all the bowls clean if I could!! Haha
Vincenzo was an absolute pleasure today! He handled a large group of 16 with such efficiency and care. He was passionate about the food and the food did not disappoint! The menu caters very well to our vegetarian diet. There were so many extremely well balanced items on the menu. Everything was cooked to perfection including perfect salt levels and excellent flavor. I truly appreciate the truffle spaghetti, arugula salad, bread, and truffle fries. This place caters to authenticity and it did not go unnoticed!
We had the best experience dining here! The food was 10/10 and we have dined in Italy many times. Guido was an amazing server! He was very attentive and had excellent suggestions for us. Very friendly and funny!!! (Cacio & Pepe with truffle was diviiiiiine)!
Our server Gabriele was amazing he made the experience that much better if you get lucky enough to have him he will definitely make your night and tell you all the best things to try! The food was excellent very fresh and service was amazing! would definitely recommend coming the atmosphere is lovely whether you sit inside or outside beautiful place!
Guido was amazing. I wish I could give him more than five stars. The service was impeccable, and his recommendations were on the spot. See the photo for what we ordered The steak is also really good apparently. This is a very traditional Italian restaurant. Really enjoyed it. Definitely will come again.
Guido was amazing and the food and atmosphere as well. Thank you for making my birthday celebration so special. The Miami Spice menu was excellent and I will definitely be back. Our group did not go wrong with any of the items ordered.
First time at Limoncello, the food is spectacular. Had the Burrata and prosciutto, the octopus, and the eggplant for appetizers. For entrees the sea bass, ribeye, and truffle fries. Although the food and ambiance was 5 star, our waiter Guido made the night 10x more special. He is a character, very personable, and provided probably the best service I have ever experienced. My brother and sister celebrated their 30th birthday and were beyond pleased with the entire experience. 10/10!
I’m talking one of the best meals I have ever had in my life! The food was cooked to perfection! Guido our server was exceptional! I’ve never been somewhere that has some one so passionate about what he does. His passion was able to rub off on everyone!
Amazing food. Service was top notch. It is family owned from a napolese family. We met all the brothers. Salvatore was the absolute best and made our experience so good with good food recommendations. Bolognese, fettuccine, cacao de Pepe, clams, Burrano, calamari weee so good. Cheesecake and canolis were some of the best. This is a true authentic Italian restaurant - run by an Italian family. Amazing food and you feel like you’re visiting your Italian grandparents with how friendly and welcoming everyone is!! Just truly amazing!
We are visiting Miami from South Dakota and decided to try some Italian cuisine. Salvatore V was our server last night and he did a phenomenal job! He made excellent food recommendations, kept the drinks flowing, and was very attentive and anticipatory of our needs. 100/10, would eat here again!
Guido is the man! Best waiter there is! He made the experience top notch! Best past I've had in a long time! Apps were next level! Limoncello was the best? I will be back! This is an experience you don't want to miss! Came in town for my bday! You gotta stop here for dinner!
Great Italian food that is Italian. Great service from our server Vincenzo he made sure our table was well served. Atmosphere was really nice we ate on the sidewalk. Overall definitely would be here again.
We had an amazing experience at Limoncello! Our meal began with a fresh and flavorful Caesar salad paired with warm, homemade bread strips—the perfect start. For the main course, we enjoyed the lobster ravioli and chicken parmesan—both were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. And the berry cheesecake? Hands-down the best I’ve ever had! It was so light and airy, like biting into a cloud—we devoured it before even thinking about taking a picture! The service was exceptional. Every server we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re in Miami Beach, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Limoncello. 🍋 An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish!
Had the most awesome Bolognese with homemade pasta. I have traveled all of Italy and this is as good or better. The staff was so fun and we sat outside and enjoyed the fresh air. Couldn’t give it enough stars!!!
Absolutely incredible experience. Upon arriving we were immediately welcomed by Gabriel with open arms. He walked us through the menu, providing meaningful suggestions. The food itself was spectacular! Ended with delicious dessert and a limoncello gift. Perfect end to my trip!
The rigatoni carbonara was fantastic here and the ambiance outside was beautiful. The truffle cacio e Pepe was also incredible. Salvatore, our server was an absolute delight, funny, and gave great recommendations. Will return for sure!
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere at Limoncello Miami felt warm and inviting. The food was absolutely exceptional - every dish was prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. A special mention goes to Salvatore, who provided truly outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. His recommendations were spot-on, and his professionalism took the whole experience to another level. This was by far one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Miami. We’ll definitely be coming back soon - highly recommended!
Guido is the best server i even seen. So nice, gentle. Food⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is great! The food and atmosphere are excellent. We've been here three times, and each time the food has been delicious. When we first arrived, we had to wait around 20 minutes for our table, and the pasta took a while to arrive, but the atmosphere and the friendly staff made it all worth it. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place!
This was my second trip to Limoncello on my vacation because I loved the vibe and food so much! I am gluten free and they have pasta they can swap out. The food and cocktails are amazing. Ask for Federico, he is super sweet and very attentive!
Vincenzo, what an absolute joy of a waiter! He made our night. He took excellent care of me and my family. He also went out of his way to make my daughter feel special for her birthday. All of the food was delicious. I have to say burrata with prosciutto was delicious. The mussels were great, all of our seafood was fresh. My wife got the Strawberry Love drink and I got an old fashioned both drinks were well made. Next time I am in Miami I will be back again. Thank you Vincenzo!
First time ever to Miami, walked down the block to Limoncello & was seated outside with Gabriel as my server & he was phenomenal! Very tentative to suggestions, recommended the Beef Carpaccio, which was amazing & Shrimp with my Rigatoni Carbonara, by far my favorite place I’ve ordered Carbonara
Came here for the first time with a party of 6 people and we had such an incredible time. The food & service have been top tier! Salvatore was incredible the best service ever! We will for sure be returning! 10/10 recommend!
What an extraordinary experience on a balmy night in Miami, from the moment we sat down Salvatore took wonderful care of us. He made exceptional recommendations for appetizers, main courses, and desert. We enjoyed the Linguine Lobster and the Fettuccine Pink Sauce and Tiger Prawns. The food was remarkable! We ended our meal with the Lemon Sorbet which was an excellent complement to the main courses. We trusted the reviews and we were certainly not disappointed!
Absolutely loved Limoncello. After disastrous service the night before it was so nice to dine at a restaurant with amazing food and service. They were kind, attentive, and skilled at serving. Our orders were lobster ravioli, grilled branzino, and the rigatoni. Everything was delicious. The vibe and atmosphere did not disappoint. I highly recommend as a restaurant you have to check out when in Miami. We will definitely go back when we return to Miami.
The best and most authentic Italian food ive ever had. Pepe was so friendly and made the most perfect recommendations. Chefs kiss.
This is one of the most amazing Italian restaurants i have ever been to. The food is outstanding. We had the meat balls and the burrata ! Out of this world. Thank you for this amazing experience! Our waiter Vincenzo went out of his way. He was so sweet. It was our anniversary and he organized a beautiful dessert for us. Oh my god! This was the best tiramusu we ever had.
Limoncello is one of the best family based fine restaurants we have been to! We had the Alfredo fettuccini and the truffles burrata pizza and they were amazing! The best was the lemon cake with pistachio almond crumble and pistachios Nutella. We had a fun time laughing a lot with Salvatore, who introduced the menu and subtleties of the Italian cuisine and kept it so engaging for us. Hands down, A must eat restaurant at Miami. And ask for home brewed limoncello shot!!
Chicken Alfredo was amazing, carbonara was delicious. Their in house made fresh bread was so good! My fiancé said the espresso was good. The aesthetic is perfect! Our server, Gabriele, was attentive & great overall.
Went to dine a Saturday evening, it wasn’t too busy. Had the option of indoor or outdoor. Outside seating is on the sidewalk next to busy Washington Ave so we opted for inside which was very warm and cozy with cute decor and lighting. We were lucky to have Guido as our sever who was extremely personable and an authentic Italian character! He truly made the experience the best. He suggested the eggplant parmigiana, the burrata freshly delivered daily with prosciutto and the octopus. All apps were perfect. The burrata perfectly creamy and the octopus cooked to perfection. Entrees we had ribeye with spaghetti Cacio e Pepe, and sea bass. The cacio e Pepe spaghetti was incredible! The seabass too! He didn’t recommend pizzas and for good reason. Conversation with Guido was fun and effortless and he then sang Happy Birthday to us in Italian!
Very enjoyably my waiter was Salvatore, great service and enjoyable meal. The pasta I ordered had black truffle, which complemented the cream sauce exceptionally well. I also ordered an appetizer with rich mozzarella cheese and prosciutto that was perfectly cured to enrich the flavor while adding to the tomatoes and sides.
Guido was the BEST!! Ask for him to be your waiter!! The food the service the complete staff from entering to exit were amazing. If you are in Miami you must go!!
Sebastian was amazing, his service was 5 star all the way! The meals we ordered were made from scratch and absolutely delicious! We were so excited we could eat the pasta there because they use imported flour from Italy. The prosciutto pizza was perfect and Negroni and Strawberry tequila cocktails were refreshing. The Octopus appetizer was on point, cooked to perfection. Get the limoncello sorbet for dessert! We will definitely go back when we return to Miami!
First meal in our Miami holiday and we picked good. Authentic Italian restaurant with a 'eating at you nonna's house' vibe. Great service all the way through the meal ensured we were looked after. Lots of seating outside with a number of tables inside as well. We ordered across pizza, cacio e pepe pasta, calamari and shrimp, and the parmigiana de melamine. Couldn't fault any of them. All flavourful and as good as any food I've ate in Italy. Followed up with cannoli and the tiramsu which were equally as good. Complete recommend. Just go.
If I can only go to one place during my next visit it’s this place- see Salvatore, he was wonderful! We dined with our family of four and had exceptional service and the experience was one we will never forget! Every dish we ordered was next level. If you want to feel like you traveled to Italy in Miami then soak up this sweet place. Cheers!
An Unforgettable Italian Escape in the Heart of Miami Beach! Dining at Limoncello was truly like being transported straight to Capri, Italy. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and unmistakably Italian. The decor, the smells from the kitchen, it all set the tone for an unforgettable evening. A huge part of what made this experience so special was Guido, our waiter. He went above and beyond in every way “his energy, professionalism, and genuine warmth made us feel like honored guests in his home”. Hearing him speak Italian and guide us through the menu with such pride added a beautiful authenticity to the night. And the food… absolutely incredible. Every bite was a celebration of flavor, from the freshest ingredients to the perfectly balanced dishes. You could truly taste the passion and tradition behind each plate. Limoncello isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience. If you’re in Miami Beach and craving a taste of real Italy, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back!
Guido was amazing! He guided us through the menu, recommended his top picks as a true Venetian :) Was also very welcoming and entertaining in general. Great service overall. Would highly recommend and come back next time. A presto!
Absolutely love this place!! I went to Italy last year and this restaurant teleports you there. It’s delicious, the atmosphere is amazing & so nice. The waiter that helped us was Vincent, he was so kind and made sure we were helped the entire time. I recommend the Octopus as an appetizer and it was delicious.
Had an amazing experience at Limoncello Miami! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the authenticity in every dish. What truly made our night special was our server, Guido. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and he made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. It’s rare to find service that elevates the entire dining experience the way he did.
Amazing overall experience eating here! We had the calamari, bolognese, lobster linguini, cannolis, and tiramisu (all of which were great!). Our server Guido made the experience what it was. We came recommended from Houston TX and the person who told us to come here told us to get Guido and now I know why! Everyone in the surrounding tables loved him just as much as we did. 10/10 would recommend and get Guido as your waiter!!
We had an absolutely amazing experience at Limoncello in Miami Beach. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and full of that authentic Italian charm. A special thank you to Gabi, who took care of us with so much kindness and professionalism. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. Her recommendations were perfect, and her energy made the entire dinner even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and passion in every dish. If you’re in Miami Beach and looking for a genuine Italian experience with exceptional service, Limoncello is a must. We’ll definitely be back! 🍋
Super cute decor. Fun drink menu. Good service. We were there on valentines day with a limited menu so many other food is better but from what we had to choose from, food was just average.
Limoncello has a very interesting decoration and it shows roots to Italy. Service was very friendly, and there's inside and outside seating. Food-wise it was... good - not great, not bad. The papardelle funghi e tartufo was very good, the bolognese was good, but the cacio & pepe was below average.
The food is on par with other Italian restaurants. The daily specials were overpriced for the portion and quality. The steak special was $75. For that price I got a 10 course fixed menu with great culinary experience at Paya. I would not go back.
The Miami Spice menu special is a great value. The pappardelle bolognese & linguine frutti de mare was a very good portion considering it was a sampling prix fixe menu. The pappardelle pasta was freshly made. Our server, Federico, was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, funny, but courteous. The entire dinner was relaxed & delicious.
Awesome spot definitely feels like an Italian hole in the wall it’s like taking you to Italy, service was amazing by the man Guido if you’re going there look for him super cool guy. One thing that had me feeling some type of way was that the plates on the tables all looked greasy. But the atmosphere was truly awesome really standing to the name limoncello. Now the most IMPORTANT part the FOOD! flavor was lacking throughout all dishes to be quite honest for the price you are paying, ordered a calamari to start it off and yes it tasted fresh but some pieces were tough to chew on, the chicken parmigiana was alright chicken wasn’t anything special and no way that spaghetti didn’t come from the convenience stores shelf it was truly mid and the sauce was nothing to die for tasted like what my boy back in high school was trying to cook up. Okay pizza time they can’t mess that up right? I mean it tasted good but nothing like you would think of an Italian Margherita Pizza would taste or even look like the only true thing to die for was the starter bread they provide you with. The price for everything is a bit too high for what you get the flavor you get and quality you get you are truly paying for service and the starter bread, I won’t lie though I am glad I finally got to try but not a place I will be dying to return to.
The bread was nice and the server was friendly. The food was solid but when looked upon the price, it makes the food lean more on the expensive side. The truffle pasta was decent but after a while it gets bland(also quite pricey). Something that bothered me a little was that me and my family was the first table of the day as we arrived before opening time, and yet the seats and dish weren’t very clean. Overall not bad, just not the best.
Food was ok… the style is good and seems authentic but overcooked one of the dishes, quality of the ingredients isn’t all there and overpriced. Also when the one dish (seafood dish) was returned because it was overcooked, sauce was weird and watery, and overly salty, (after only 2 bites taken) — asked if he wanted anything else and then that replacement (salad to be safe which also wasn’t great) was added to the bill … understandable to make money but if the quality of the food is not there, you ask to replace the dish then charge us for it?? Not right in my opinion. Service was great and people are nice but way overpriced and food is very mid. Likely to find a local mom and pop spot better off.
We came here as I saw it had great reviews. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the raving reviews. Food was not bad but service is subpar. Our server Gianluca who did not introduced himself was most of the time could not be found. I asked his name from a different server and that’s the only way I learned of his name. We got seated inside which the interior was nicely decorated. It took about 5 minutes for Gianluca to come. We ordered Paperdelle Bolognese and Chicken Parmigiano. These two dishes came out less than 10 minutes. I questioned how fresh it was since it too fast. Again it was OK. Little dry towards the bottom of my dish. What I have been noticing in most Italian restaurants are there no Italians cooking the food. The ground beef on my pasta tasted same as Argentinian empanada. And most likely the cooks are from Argentina. It’s almost same as ordering pizza in NYC and the people making it are Muslims. It’s just doesn’t taste authentic. My husband ordered his 2nd beer but never came as apparently Gianluca was just not paying attention when my husband ordered. We ended up asking the host for the check. Alina the host was great, friendly and helpful. Tip was already included in our total receipt and had no choice but to keep it that way. Server did not deserve a 20% tip. This is the problem with including tip in the check. This experience just validated what we have been thinking of and that these restaurants need to rethink this way of charging customers. People will end up not returning. Would I come back, it’s a hard No. not worth the price.
I’m honestly baffled by the glowing Google reviews for Limoncello in Miami Beach. After my visit, I’m convinced they must be buying some of those ratings, because the experience was, frankly, a huge letdown. When we walked in, half the dining room was empty, yet they crammed us right next to another table as if they were trying to squeeze every possible person into one corner. It felt like we had no privacy at all. Things didn’t get better from there. We were served water without ice—yes, in the middle of Miami, no ice in the water. Then we ordered a Caesar salad to share. They brought it out in one single bowl with the most basic, uninspired ingredients—bagged lettuce, store-bought croutons, and what tasted like jarred Caesar dressing. No fresh pepper or cheese offered, and for a $16 salad, that’s just disappointing. The one redeeming factor was the fresh-baked bread, which actually tasted good. But even that made me wonder why they couldn’t use the same quality for their croutons. As for the main courses—well, my $26 fettuccine Alfredo was a tiny portion that tasted like something straight out of a jar, not the homemade pasta they claimed. My husband’s chicken parmesan? He said it tasted like an ashtray, and I have to agree it was just as bad as it sounds. When we expressed our concerns, the waiter just stared at us blankly. In the end, we left pretty disappointed. The only good thing I can say is that the bread was decent. But overall, I wouldn’t recommend Limoncello if you’re looking for a great dining experience in Miami Beach.
