PROPS TO DEBBIE AND THE COOK this location has had staffing issues in the past, but today was perect. was sat almost immediately, drinks right away, and most important, they cared about what they were doing (and communicated the whole time) and BTW the food could not have come out better. WAY TO TURN IT AROUND! =)

Being 49 and having been to many IHOP's in my life this one has to be one of the best ones that I've been to in an extremely long time. Got an order to go and had 3 staff members check on us to make sure that our needs were met. Ariel was very welcoming and friendly. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stop by to eat again.

Our waitress was the absolute best. She paid for two meals for customers who needed it. And that's just what I saw. Who knows how many people she helps when no one is looking
We stopped in while traveling. I ordered the Pancake breakfast plate, pancakes with strawberries & bananas, eggs over easy, sausage and hash browns. It was very delicious. They were extremely understaffed, and our waitress appeared overworked, and tired. 07/10/21 Stopped in while we were in Hickory, this time I have to say the service was much better, our server was very polite, and attentive compared to last time. The food was great, and cooked to my satisfaction.
Good quality food, the tips are amazing. The waitress was a little crazy & annoying, but cute too. Theres that. Lol I love this place, id rather eat here than most places!
Very thankful for the friendly helpful server who made us fresh coffee for our Saturday afternoon visit. The food here is always wonderful and the servers and food preparation is always terrific. THank you I really enjoyed my dining experience.
If I could give our waitress 20 stars I would and also the young man in the kicthen! Jess worked her butt off all by herself and he cooked alone. They was running the whole show and throwing down. Jess didn't stop, she made sure everyone had everything and was good. Back and forth she went and she did amazing. This company needs to figure out what to do to get some help in this store. With all she was doing she did it with a smile! You go with your bad self because you did one hell of a job Jess!!!
The food was fresh and hot (Delicious). The Restaurant was clean and we'll maintained. The staff was friendly and the customer service was very good. Easy access to the restaurant from the roadway and into the business. The Bathrooms were very clean . I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend.

Food was good and you can't beat the price of the Faves menu! They seemed understaffed, but the waitress was very nice and as attentive as she could be. Overall, a good experience here.
Hadn't eaten here in quite some time and was happy with the experience. It was extremely busy, but there was only a short wait to be seated. The service was top notch, and the food was very good. The only thing I wouldn't recommend was the kids' mac and cheese. It was literally kraft mac and cheese out of the box for 6.99.
We went on a Monday and there was literally only one server. She was doing her best to get to everyone. The French toast is always my favorite to get !
My family and I have been going to this IHOP on and off for the past 5 years. Since then, we have had mostly great experiences with a lot of delicious food. Every once in a while we will experience a crabby waiter/waitress, or cold food, but they are usually happy to fix whatever the food issues are. I'd advise signing up for the pancake revolution for free food and drink promos as well! Overall, this is a great place for a quick bite. Expect to spend $8-$10 per person including drinks.
The server gentleman was great! He was doing a little of everything. The restaurant was literally dead. The ac wasn't on (very hot day), and they had the doors open. You couldn't feel any breeze in the restaurant at all. It was way too hot to sit in the restaurant as long as we did to get food, eat, then leave. Prices are getting ridiculous as well, just for the $55+ egg meal is $10.99.
Overall 3 outta 5. Wife used women's restroom and couldn't wash her hands because the sink was out of order. Need more staff when this packed. I made a simple order and ordered exactly the same thing as my wife but they forgot thw extra meat. When wanting to leave they were so short staffed and our waitress was doing the best she could to get us out.

went here for dinner with my husband & our son. the waitress was nice but got the drink order wrong & forgot to bring my husband his pancakes. I ordered the double blueberry pancakes & when they came, there was almost no blueberries in them. I just ended up taking them home because I was disappointed. over all it wasn't bad, but it definitely could be better.
Service was veeerrryyy slow, but the waiter was very polite and friendly, the food you know what to expect so I wasn’t expecting anything to wow me as always, it’s ok, but the restrooms were very very dirty and smell horrible! I can understand when the place is packed and the staff have no time to clean it up often, but the place was half empty. I would recommend to pay more attention on that.
The food was just what I wanted, but the service left much to be desired. I literally held up the "specials" card and pointed to what I wanted from that card and when my bill came and I was charged a completely different price, the waitress said "oh, we're not running that special now". There was no date on the card that indicated that, and the large window signs leading into the restaurant boasted the same special info. I insisted on the discount, which I eventually got, but I shouldn't have needed to argue the point. Also, we felt we were being rushed from her section, as she came and stood her broom and dustpan against the table across from us. Honestly.... It was evening, but it wasn't THAT late and we shouldn't have felt as though we needed to leave. I had flown in that same day to visit my son after the death of my father. SHE (waitress) didn't know that, of course, but all I wanted was a peaceful meal in a relaxed setting. You can see I've posted a tremendous number of reviews, and I try to be very fair. I was disappointed in this experience and would be less likely to choose this location for my opportunities to connect with family in future.
I’m only giving this place a 3 star mostly for the service and communication of wait staff. The food was horrible. The cheese in my breakfast burrito wasn’t melted all the way, eggs looked like they were cooked in grease from sausage and they didn’t have sour cream. The pancakes that came with my meal were furthest thing from fluffy and one was almost burnt. I definitely can make better pancakes at home! The funny face for my daughter was just the whipped cream eyes/mouth. It didn’t have the two cherries on the eyes or chocolate chips on the mouth and no nose. I paid $7.29 for that pancake and apple sauce cup, I kind of expect it to look as pictured on the menu. It just seems like they did everything they could to cut corners on the food because of being short staffed. With all the being said, I could hear the staff communicate so wonderful to get people moved through as fast as possible even though, wait time was 45 mins. Every staff member I interacted with had a smile on their face!
The wait time to sit down was ridiculous. I understand being short-staffed but they would tell everyone it would only be 10 to 15 minutes it was definitely a lot longer. They kept taking names down but by the time they got to the names the people had left. We also ordered then 30 minutes later they told us they were out of an item. The bacon was also burnt. Having said this the waitress Terri was sweet and polite. To sum it all up the service was slow from the beginning to getting the check and leaving and the food was mediocre. I went back in March of 2025, and it was a very similar experience except the wait to be seated wasn't too bad. The only negative thing was other customers were rude. I want to say the best thing about this visit was the waitress Debbie, she was incredible, so sweet, she was crazy busy and still got everyone taken care of. They could clone her and the restaurant would run smoothly.
I believe that they have changed something. I don't know if it's the cook or food distributor. We absolutely love the Colorado Omelets, although their taste was off this time, and we both felt nauseated later. Our waitress was nice, but she wasn't on it. You had to ask for the salsa that was supposed to come with it, and you had to ask for a refill even with the empty cups sitting near the edge. We still tipped nicely, thought that maybe she was new and would get better with time.

Absolutely horrible experience. A 10 minute wait turned into twenty. When we did get seated it was another 15 minutes before we saw a waitress. The one that did arrive wasn't ours. Our waitress was in back cooking. Took another 15 minutes to get our coffee. When our food arrived the bacon was undercooked, as we had asked for extra crispy. She did bring us more bacon, burnt. I had to get up and find my waitress just so we could pay to leave. Won't be back.
Hostess had to finish up paperwork while we were standing in front of her waiting to be seated. There was no one else there. Waited 10 min for coffee. $3.49/cup. We both ordered 2 different things. When the waitress brought it out she didn't know which plate was which and we couldn't tell either. She then opened up our food with a fork and dug through it to see what the toppings were.
Pancakes were cold. Bacon was really good and cooked just right. Eggs looked artificial and yellow like they were colored and tasted like they came from liquid eggs in a carton , not fresh cracked eggs. The one waitress was the only one doing everything. She was pleasant. There is a lot of deferred maintenance inside and out. I don't think we'll be back.
Asked for crispy bacon and got burnt bacon. Hash browns were crispy as well but not offered that way. And I was the only customer on the building so I expected better service than what I got
Stopped there today for brunch with my Daughter and Grandkids. It took over 45 minutes to even get our food and then when we did we had to listen to apologies as to being short staffed in the kitchen and how hot it was in the kitchen. Our food was nothing elaborate to make and should have only taken maybe 20 minutes at the most. My BLT was served dry and the toast was burnt with a couple of things strips of bacon. My daughter was overly generous with the tip for the service that we received. Needless to say I won't stop at this IHOP again.
I used to come here all the time and it was fine. But the last 3 times ive been here its taken an hour plus just to get apps and our food has come out under or overcooked every single time. By the time we finally get our food we are so over it that we just ask for the check for our drinks and leave. It's happened like I said the last 3 times in a row. They blame it on being understaffed every time which I understand, but it gets to a point where they need to make some kind of adjustment. The only reason im giving this place even 2 stars is because at least our servers were on top of refills and friendly. The food is terrible, the price is too high for what they're serving, and the wait time is insane. You're better off finding somewhere else to eat.
The staff just doesn’t care who is there. They are going to have conversations about whatever they want when they want. Food was definitely disappointing. It all came out cold and all taste frozen or processed. Such a disappointment. I have been to an ihop in a while and this one reminded me why. Re-staff and up your standards. Then maybe this restaurant will grow and not have notes on the door saying staffing issues
My visit occurred on Christmas Eve morning; the slow service was not the issue. The negative experience started out with watching our waitress blatantly catching an attitude and yelling at the host for seating us one table too far. The continue to yell at him for it in the dining area. The waitress introduced herself and took her drink order; during our exchange she made the comment "Everything will be better once everyone gets trained properly." Further along, while placing our orders, I wanted to substitute an item for Grits. Once I mentioned the grits, the wait said "Can I just give you the pancakes anyways and not charge for the grits because our grits are AWEFUL. They're like cemet." Me and my party was taken aback by this exchange. Throughout the meal, after we had received our entrées, I had to politely remind the waitress several times that I still needed my grits and every time she mentioned how awful they were. Then, when they were finally brought out, she said "Here you go. I hope you like them. Me and the other girl did our best on them." Why is a waitress making meals/dishes? Not to mention the grits were cold and were made into a soup with the amount of butter that was added. Her negativity and unprofessional behavior really ruined our experience thst morning. Not what we had expected for Christmas Eve breakfast.
The food was good except my bacon, it looked basically raw. My real problem was the service, when I ordering my our food the waitress wasnt too kind and had an attitude in her voice. We were waiting for about 45 minutes for our food while people around us had gotten their food first even though they had ordered after we had, and we hardly ever saw the person serving us.
Waitress was very nice but the kitchen was a disorganized mess. Saw at least 5 people in the kitchen and food still took half an hour. It was a busy time of day but I have been in other Ihop locations with less staff during very busy times and gotten much faster service. Looks like they need a skilled kitchen manager. Won't come again.
My family and I were 1 of the 2 customers that were there to eat. It was not busy whatsoever, but dyum! The service was so slow. We waited for our food for about an hour. The couple who ate with us had already gotten their food, finished it, and left while we were still waiting. I feel that iHop has lost its touch. The sirloin steak I got with mushroom was not fully cooked. Mushroom was still hard and not soft. The good thing I ate was the chicken cassadilla. There was tons of jalopenos in it jsyk. I say if you are in a hurry, go eat somewhere else. If not, just keep waiting for your food.

We’ve been coming here for many years and today was the absolute worst experience. The lobby was full of parties waiting to be seated however there were only 4 tables seated wi the current customers. There were at least 6-7 employees that could be seen moving throughout the restaurant. After waiting 35 minutes I inquired about the wait time. The hostess went to the kitchen, a cook came out and looked at the waiting area and shrugged his shoulders and then returned to the kitchen. The hostess then began seating tables. Upon begin seated we noticed a large amount of the staff hanging out in an unoccupied section of the restaurant. It took another 30 minutes to get our food. At this time there were only 5 occupied tables. Many customers left before being seated or waited on. In addition, we also overheard one employee tell another to only seat one table at a time and wait until a table clears before sitting another
We went for dinner on 11/16. After 5-10 minutes of waiting, the waitress complained the moment she met us at the front about how she was hoping they’d close early and informed us that they’re only taking cash and would have to handwrite and tally up the total by hand. There were 2-3 tables when we arrived. She took a long time to take our orders. Thankfully we got our food in a timely fashion. When we asked her to refill our coffee, she said the machine was already turned off and complained about having to make a new pot. She came back with some water down coffee because we had a little left in the pot when she took it. I didn’t bother asking her to correct it in fear she’d spit in it or something ridiculous. She was unpleasant and clearly didn’t want to be there. What a shame.
IHOP used to be a bustling place, but not anymore. I've been to this location 2x. I gave it 2 chances. I walked in and it was dark bot times. Noone hardly there. Dirty like Noone cleaned. Wait to be seated. Finally get seated and drinks. The server lady acted like she's never interacted with someone before. She acted super stressed when sitting people down because she had to sit them outside of her "section" assuming, which makes 0 sense because there's hardly any business going on. She took ages to take care of people. It was ridiculous. I've done and seen customer service and this place needs help in that department. Whoever is managing needs to be fired. I was there 2 hours for just my and my girls meal. Also the ac was out. The food was OK. I had no food issues. Just don't dine here. One positive thing is the protein pancakes are tasty. Just please do better.
We were here on March 1st to have dinner, and it was one of the WORST experiences of my life!! Two people in our party got there first, got a table and drinks. Once the rest of us arrived, we sat there for about 10 mins before the waitress came over to get our drink order. She said that she was the only waitress there, and I asked if it would be a longer wait for our food. She ignored what I asked and took our drink and food orders(we had been there long enough to decide what we wanted). The food was great and came out super fast! Then the waitress went missing....never to check on us again! One of the guys in our party had to go over and find the waitress to get a refill on his drink since she never came back to the table. She apologized to the table she was at for the interruption, but never apologized to us for her never coming back to the table! Even my child asked if we could never go there again!! Definitely not going to!
Just walked in at 7:45 with no other customers in the restaurant and no one at the host stand. Waited for someone to get to the host stand for a bit, when she finally came walking over we’re not greeted. She gets to counter points at a receipt and asked if this was our food. When we said “no we would actually like to dine in” she proceeded to smack her pen onto the counter and give us an attitude about asking to be seated. You don’t close until 10pm and had no other customers, it’s not our fault you don’t want to do your job. We left and will not be back.
One of the worst experiences I have had at a local restaurant. 1. Was seated at a table that had syrup on bench and my grandson got it all over his shorts, there were many clean tables in restaurant only 4 other tables occupied. 2. We ordered our food I ordered one of the 6.00 specials that was advertised a Ham and Cheese Omelette and hash browns. Grandson ordered the make a face pancake and wife ordered a breakfast plate and added onions to hash browns. They bring food and no silverware to eat with, finally we get silverware. 3. As we are finishing waitress brings our bill and I proceeded to look it over the 6.00 omelette was 7.95 and they charged me for Ham .99 and for onions in hash browns .99 ( menu special 6.00 and .50 to add toppings to hash browns)so my 6.50 special showed on bill as 9.93(3.43) over what it should have been. I asked the waitress and she explained she was new and would get it fixed, well here comes that Manger over she leans on the booth and proceeds to tell us that the specials are not valid on Memorial Day I asked her to show me that on menu and she said that is what her GM not to run specials on Holiday. I have attached picture of sign and it says no where on there about holidays valid Mon- Friday. So I ask why they charged me .99 for Ham when I ordered a Ham and Cheese Omelette that was on menu, she said that's just how it rings up and same for the onions in hash browns that was supposed to be .50 and not .99. She said that she would fix the bill since I questioned it but when she brought bill back she had gave a 1.84 discount I was over charged 3.43. I am not one to complain and especially over a couple dollars but they handled this very unprofessional and I will never return to IHOP again. Also to be a Manager at a public establishment dress professional the manager had a shirt to small for her and it showed her stomach while she was leaned over at our table.
Waited 20 minute for a doordash order and while i seen the employees go from server customers to straight to help cook without gloves or washing hand and watch her put a handful of cheese on food and then took it to customer not once did she wash her hand or put glove on this place is very nasty as its dead but about 15 dirty table and 3 customers in the store
I had not eaten at this IHOP in several years but it was chosen because of being a family favorite. I was appalled when being taken to our table at the amount of food and trash on the floor. Should have taken pictures because it was absolutely disgusting! Then we were seated at a table where stink bugs were crawling on the floor. At a table adjacent to ours there was also food and trash on the floor. When our food finally came, my Colorado Omelet looked a total mess. Eggs and sausage were overcooked and it lacked seasoning. Even after I seasoned it myself, it still tasted off. Didn't take long for my stomach to start being off as well. Our waitress didn't check on us at all during the entire service and we had to flag down another waitress for to go boxes. She finally came to our table to bring our checks and started gathering plates. At that time we finally got the to go boxes we asked for. Our waitress said she had to go to the bank and she apologized for taking so long although we know she had been back a while as we all saw her walk through the door near our table. As we were leaving, the same food and trash was still on the floor so no cleanup had been done during the entire time we were there. And then the bill.....nearly $40 for 2 of us and $75 for a family of 5, two of those meals being from the kids menu. Then our waitress said as we were paying our bill, even though she had just been to the bank, she didn't have coin change to give back. I don't mind paying $40 for 2 meals if a dining experience is enjoyable but this experience was far from even being good. I will not be returning to this particular IHOP unless drastic changes are made overall.
Not busy at all and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited another 15 minutes just to have our drink orders taken, once we got our drinks we waited another 20 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. After watching our waitress walk around and seem to be avoiding us and 2 other tables seated near us, I simply asked for the bill for our drinks so we could pay and leave. The waitress proceeded to tell me she didn’t know and couldn’t do this. Another waitress offered to take our order but we opted out and chose to leave. Having to wait that long with 2 young children just to be helped is beyond ridiculous.
We been here twice within 2 weeks & both times we’ve had crappy service. Everyone has bad days but this is just crazy, It’s literally maybe 2 tables besides ours. Not sure why it takes 50 mins to get our food. It was only 2 adults and a kids meal The 2 adults had omelets. It took 15 mins for her to even take our order for drinks once we sat down. The 50 mins was ADDITIONAL. Then we get our food & it’s wrong. All 3 meals were wrong!! Then I also noticed that none of the cooks were hairnets or anything, and they have hair and beards. I won’t be coming back here. Horrible service!
We waited for at least 15 minutes to be seated, no customers were in the store. When the lady came up to the counter she had an attitude so we immediately left. All 4 of us just turned around and walked out the door.
The food was really bad. If I could give a negative 10 I would.
Worst place to eat! And worst service! We use to love this place! We won’t waste our money anymore! They never get your order right! And if you order something to go they will definitely forget something that came with your order! I give this place 0 stars. Don’t waste your time or money on this place!
Long wait time for food and when it did come out it was terrible. My eggs were full of onions, pancakes were flat and so tough you couldn’t even cut with a knife. Sausage was cold and very soft like it was undercooked.
If 0 stars was an option, i’d choose that. My bfs family and I went to eat here and we had a terrible experience. The place was empty and we waited an hour before getting out our food. From where i was sitting, i could see the waitress pass bye our food and not hand it out to us. the food was cold and the lady was rude when we said we wouldn’t pay for it. super bad service. never coming back. when we gave them cash to pay for the drinks, the lady said “BYE” in a rude way.
It’s so filthy . A roach was walking over the booth as we were eating . There was crumbs / food all over the floor and in between the seats . The sanitation score on that wall is false for sure . Probably the worst looking ihop Ive ever been to .
My friend ordered her food for curbside pick up at 11:12am. They told her it would be ready by 11:50am. She is pregnant and had not eaten for the day so she left her house and came to this IHOP. She arrived at 11:48am and alerted Lee the app that she was outside her the curbside spot. My friend didn’t get her food until an hour later… in the midst of that hour. She called the restaurant 5 times, say 4 workers and cooks out back laughing and on what I assume was their breaks, and when she asked one of them about the status of her order the response was “we’re working on it”. The restaurant had not been overly busy and she again tried talking to someone multiple times. It took for her to go inside roughly 50 minutes after she told them she had arrive (at 11:48am) before she got her food to only discover that it was ready but had been sitting there. When she questions the girl at the didn’t about why nobody brought her food out or was even notified it was ready, she told her “oh well, we don’t get those alerts and never know when someone is at curbside”. This left my PREGNANT friend hungry, irritated, and angered about the whole thing. Not to mention the food wasn’t hot nor was it good to eat. This is a disgusting show of character for this restaurant. Especially being a chain and knowing that Sundays are busy. There was no order to this place and no courtesy to her what so ever. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy.
We were sat to eat me my mom and the 2 children we had with us on our trip to the beach. Before we got any service I needed to use the restroom so I went tot he restroom. As I sat down to pee there was a cockroach on the bathroom stall. Picture below. I would not recommend eating here because if I openly saw roaches in the bathroom I imagine what’s in the kitchen. This is not ok. We were looking forward to IHOP for breakfast on our way to the beach.
I ordered for curbside. After waiting 30 minutes, I finally went inside. I was told there was only one cook. However, I saw three people behind the grill. I ordered the Belgium waffle, but was told the waffle maker was broke. When I got home and looked at my food, it tasted worse than it looked. I'll think twice before going again.
Went for breakfast on a Saturday, waited over an hour for a seat. 1 server for 15 tables. Ended up leaving because never got a seat.
I had placed an online order and waited over an 1.5 hours and still never received my food. Thankfully I spoke to the area director is refunding my money but still i do not recommend going here you will be waiting.
My PREGNANT wife placed a curbside order and was given a time. She got to ihop 5 minutes before and waited 20 minutes before having to stop an employee walking through the parking lot. The employee checked the order and said they were working on it. 40 minutes later still no food and no updates. From the time she arrived there were at least 7 employees going in and out for smoke breaks and talking with each other while she’s just sitting. She went in to get a refund and her food had just been sitting there! Thankfully the employee that checked the first time came spoke up and said something to a manager about the situation and he did a great job taking care of her. This is also not the first time we have been here and have had to wait at least an hour for food.
Always have only two servers working if you wanna waste time waiting coming here
Owner, stop apologizing and do whatever it takes to get this place straightened out. It’s been a mess ever since Covid. I’m sick and tired of having to drive to Asheville to eat at a decent IHOP!!
We got Diet Pepsi instead of Pepsi and only seen our waitress twice when she took order and when it came time to pay the bill. Another waitress took care after we waited 30 minutes. I’ll be back here at all
Curbside pickup was a nightmare experience… associate had attitude about us having to come inside to locate our order, as though we were in the wrong for being under the impression that was what curbside pickup was supposed to imply. It was implied that we were regarding ourselves as being too good to come inside to pick up the order … ?? The order that directly after this another associate was rude about not being able to find us out in the car to bring out to us ??!!! Because we were told to come inside to look for since first off was what we were supposed to do to.. which causes us to not be in the car to pick up… then I seen the one sorry excuse for a messed up crepe !!! When before ihop had been amazing when I had ordered this same meal. Never again after this Mornings merry go round for half a crepe and some other burnt stuff . I had expected so much better than this. I recommended it to my girl she had never ate there . I said it would be so good and that made me look silly.
Food was nasty, didn’t take long to get the food but it was disgusting. Everyone was on a lil sum. Floors and tables weren’t sanitary. & more
If they had less than 1 star that’s what they would have gotten from me. We have sat here for an hour watched them send customers away and they aren’t even that busy. Took 20 minutes to get drinks and have only see our waitress 2 so far. She avoids our table and everyone else’s tables to hang out in the kitchen. There are 6 servers a full kitchen staff there’s no excuse for such poor service. And an hour wait at the door.
Why is there a wait at IHOP....naw I know why but the wait on the food was the worst. For starters they told us it would be 30 min wait it was 50 mins to an hour. We order and that wait was almost an hour. We spoke to the very nice staff and the manager and the wait continued....we left. Not today ihop
I waited for about 50 minutes for a to go order, after being told by the hostess that my order was not ready. A nice young waitress gave me my cold order. My crepe was soggy, my chicken strip dinner was over cooked, I never received my garlic bread and my beef tips were over cooked. I will definitely try waffle house next time I want a late night meal before I come back to this location.
Brought my daughter and her family here for breakfast. They were not busy. They had 4 servers. The coffee was horrible, food took an hour, it was pathetic. I can't believe I spent my hard earned money. As I'm typing, my daughter found a hair in her omelet. So disgusting. Server's were hollering at the cooks.
Ihop has always been my favorite place. This ihop ruined it for me. Silverware was filthy, I asked for clean silverware the second set was also filthy, the food wasn't cooked correctly. There were 4 of us eating 2 people was on one ticket and my ticket and my daughter in laws sister was suppose to get separate tickets that was a problem the person ringing us up didnt know how to print out separate tickets nor did she know how to ring meals up separate. Worst experience ever plus I feel sick to my stomach!
Don't ever order curbside here. We placed our order and didn't receive our food til about a hr later and that's bc I had to go inside and go to the kitchen after the waitress kept telling me they're working on it. 50 mins after my order was placed they finally made the other half of my order bc I went back and complained that I wanted a refund. The pancakes look nothing like the lemon ricotta. There was even a man beside me who had waited almost as long for his curbside pick up. I get every place is short staffed but the people eating inside were all being served in a timely manner. We will never come back.
Would give a 0 star if i could. Spent over $50 on breakfast food for my family. I had one omlet combo (cheese, bacon, mushrooms) with 3 tres leches pancakes, those three pancakes were missing but yet they packed all the toppings for the pancakes. My omlet was half way cooked and still slimy, it honestly didnt even look like an omlet, it looked absolutely horrid. Went straight to the trash. I got a breaksfast sampler with 4 bacon 2 sausage. I got 2 pieces of bacon that were seriously undercooked and has to be put in a skillet to finish cooking, i got 2 sausage, and 2 pieces of almost burnt ham. Not what i ordered. There was no way my uner driver could have opened the bag either i had to cut into it just to get it open. How you can screw up food that bad is beyond me. Uber gave me an $8 refund. The receipt clearly has what i ordered and they taped it on the front of the bag. If you can screw up that bad you need to be fired. Would post pics but i dont know how.
Server was nice and took care of us. Food was garbage! This is supposedly my mash potatoes with country gray. The mash was more liquid than the gravy. This meal was probably worse than a microwavable meal. There was alot of char pieces in our meals like dam clean it properly. They were pretty much out of everything we wanted to order. Would not recommend ANYONE eating here.
The order was wrong. Others who came in after us were served and gone before we got our food, which was wrong and had to be sent back. There was only three in our party, ordered eggs and pancakes, bacon and sausage. Simple what they sell the most of. Guess they had to wait for the hens to lay.
I had to get my own food when placed an online order. She just kept saying “ok” and walking off when my food was directly in front of me. Finally I just took my food and left.
This place is disgusting. Need gloves just to look at the menu. No manager here. We were sat at a table that had water dripping from ceiling. We walked out. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here. I can’t believe this place is still open. Read your reviews IHOP. Make the changes.
Sign on the door saying short staffed, yet there was 6 waitresses working, but each one only working like 4 tables. Waited for over an hour and then my food was cold. Sent it back and never saw it again. Ended up not eating more than half my breakfast. Never saw the manager, IHOP has become a joke
Due to being unable to leave lower than a 1 star review. If I had read the recent review regarding their experience we would’ve chosen another place to go have breakfast. First off, I understand places having issues with a/c units as it happens and isn’t in their control. But to only have a door opened and propped so everything and anything can come on in 😳. Second, as we got our food, lo and behold a roach decided it wanted to walk all over the wall and seat and well made it kinda grossed out when trying to eat. Whenever it creeped over the wall take a bite but unable to finish due to it being very paranoid wondering if it was gonna crawl on you or in your food. Workers were just going about the job as if it wasn’t noticeable…. Come on now people it’s noticeable on light colored walls !!! Our experience today was nothing but gross and disgusting. I agree that having a 95.5 Health department rating isn’t bad but it’s not good either. And finally third, paying $21 for only 2 drinks and small pancakes and eggs for 2 people that couldn’t be finished due to being paranoid and grossed out by the roach crawling all over is pretty bad and sickening especially not worth the money. You guys were a great place to go but this is a game changer as I will not return to this location ever. Photos were taken and attached… I feel reimbursement for my $21 for a meal that had roaches around us should be in order. And for anyone else with the same experience.
Waitresses were handling food with hands from a cookie sheet under the light. One waitress was cussing loudly. We walked out without eating after sitting for one hour to be waited on. Won’t be back
Waited over an hour for our food. The food was good when we got it. My eggs were a little overcooked but nothing major.
Oh my where do I begin. This place needs to be shut down by either the health department or the police department. From the second we walked in the place smelled like an illegal substance or a skunk, one of the two. I brought it to the desk agents attention and she seemed to not be concerned. After we sat down and ordered we were told the heat lamps were out and our food would be brought to us as it was ready. We started receiving our food about an hour and fifteen minutes later. Each time our waitress came to our table she as well had the same smell we smelled earlier. This was later confirmed as she over heard me talking with our children about what we would do right before new years. Her statement was "well I would be getting high. " She said this right in front of our kids. You would think this would be the end however as we were walking out we noticed a used cigarette butt in the inside of the window laying on top of the counter. Disgusting, we will never be going to this or any Ihop ever again.
We visited IHOP in Hickory and left disappointed. My husband asked for crispy hash browns but was served soggy, undercooked potatoes (see photos). I ordered the seasonal pumpkin-spice pancakes pictured on the menu, but what we received lacked pumpkin flavor and was basically inedible. I gave constructive feedback to our waiter and later spoke with the new manager, who was receptive and said changes are coming — especially in the kitchen. This used to be one of our favorite spots, and I hate to see the quality slipping. I’m hopeful the new management will restore consistency. I’ll update this review after we return. To make a long story short, i pulled up and there were 3-4 guys outside laughing and playing at the back of the store. 3 more workers came out to smoke and talk, mind you i’m sitting in the curbside reserved spot for 20-30 minutes now and still nothing. I called the restaurant 5 times and it hung up every single time. And all of these workers saw me sitting here. Someone came out and i asked about my order and she said “we’re working on it” obviously not if i see you back here beating a pack of newports? This ihop is disgraceful and y’all need to do better. Oh yeah i’ve been sitting here for an hour now and still nothing… so update, i go in and get my food and it’s been sitting on the counter the whole time. The lady goes “oh it’s right here” mind you this is the bs they gave me. The manager did come and apologize so that was the only plus but best believe i won’t be coming back here EVER
Im so upset , I was craving ihop so I placed an online order to pick up , I got there they were chatting it was no one in there and taking long to get to me they finally get to me I went back to car and realized they didn’t give me my drink so I walked back up in there and they took like 10 mins to get me my drink when no one was in there which should have been first red flag . I got home to eat I cut into my pancake and guess what . The pancake wasn’t even done , my food looked like it was was rushed everything was messed up I spend 55 dollars on this order . I will never come here again. The pancake mix needs to mixed in and food should not look like it was rushed . -10/10 save your money and visit .
We used to love this location and it was a special place for my husband and I. When it shut down and reopened, it is now horrible. Long wait times with few patrons & bad food. We decided today to give it one last chance as the parking lot was fuller than normal and we wrongly thought that it had improved. Pancakes were lukewarm and wouldn't melt the butter, my husband's bacon was raw and when he asked for a replacement it was burnt and greasy. Hash browns were undercooked as were the sausages. Never again will we eat at this location. IHOP, do better
