One of the best Mexican foods I've had. All fresh ingredients and they are super friendly. It is now one of my favorite spots. Their burritos are delicious and their chimichanga and churros are delicious.

Had lime chicken soup lots a flavor no can stuff here. Also had the pork tacos and black bean soup. Pork was soft perfect. Black bean soup had mozzarella cheese amazing worth the stop. Walked across the bridge and dropped in to eat.

We have been searching for good Mexican food since we moved from California and we have been delighted to find this hidden gem. The food is delicious and The gal is so so sweet. Ordered tacos Mexican style and once American style. Both great. Very happy to return whenever we can.

As the name implies, this is a Tex-Mex restaurant, BUT not in the way that you think. It is a mixture of authentic Mexican dishes (like al pastor dishes and tortas) and Tex-Mex dishes. So maybe more like a Mex-Tex-Mex. Or Tex-Mex-Mex? MTM or TMM? TLDR: this place is good. Affordable, and brightly colored Mexican decor.

We discovered this little gem two years ago on New Year's Day, after a round-trip walk on the Walkway Over Hudson, and have wanted to come back ever since (we live an hour's drive away). Their food was delicious, fresh and with generous portions. Their free salsas are so tasty you'd want to buy some by the pint. This New Year's Day, we did the same routine - Walkway then El Paso. The food is just as delicious, the portions just as lavish, and the owner just as cheery, helpful and generous. Very few eateries are open on NYD in this little township, but any open door is a heartwarming place! We'll be back next New Year's Day!

We come here often, sometimes we’ll come daily for a days in a row when we’re working in the area. Try their grilled zucchini side as well! We are so happy we found this gem and will continue to support them. I do wish they would add elote’s onto their menu though!

If you can get past appearance you're in for a treat. Abuela has some of the best authentic South of the Border food you're going to find at a fair price. The burritos, tacos, nachos, rice, and beans are excellent while my wife and daughter love the quesadillas.

A charming Mexican, family owned restaurant. The owner/chef is a warm, felicitous lady who offers value and authentic cooking. Come for lunch or dinner! Watch some Mexican soap operas, listen to some ethnic music, and leave satisfied.

My birria burrito was ehh at best. No flavor, meat was dry and the consume/stew was close to flavorless. Love the workers and atmosphere but the food is barely sub par.

I would rather drive an hour to a Chinese place that serves Mexican than here. I know they can do better than this.😢 Taco Bell would have been a better choice.

food was good but overcharged us $15

I ordered birria tacos and I was unimpressed. The birria was just a beef stock, unseasoned. The tacos where small and with a lack of flavor.

Client beware: it would appear that they overstuff burritos with an abundance of rice whilst scrimping on other things like meats, avocado, etc. I ordered a chicken burrito with avocado and what did I get when I opened the bag for take-out? Two large burritos stuffed 99% with rice and 1% with avocado and meat. A real downer. $29 and I asked why when I paid and they said "you ordered chicken and avocado - that's extra". Well. . . duh. . . but where it is?
