They have the best pasta and pizza I've ever tasted in town. The pizza is delicious and thin. You can't stop trying Frankie's pizza, it's out of this world. The best pasta for us was tortolini. They have a delicious homemade bread that we all love. If you pass through Hillsboro you definitely have to get to this place.

First time stopping and I’ll let America know. The chef and his wife did a great job with this Italian business. Customer service is 10/10 and the waitress is friendly. I would stop in Anytime I’m in my way to Waco and enjoy a well cooked flavored spaghetti. Thanks for having us💪🏼💯

This hole in the wall Italian restaurant is very clean and nice. Polite staff and was greeted as I set foot in the door. The young Mexican waitress in her thirties looks like and I was there on 07/06/2025 and came in between 6pm & 7pm was a great waitress and on point and if I had the extra money I would tip her $10 but I had went out to eat with some friends. The food was enough to eat half and take the other half home and eat it the next day. The way the plate was decorated was the first time I ever saw and how presentable it was. Also how I love the way the food was out within 3 to 5 mins needless to say there was 3 of us. Fast service and above and beyond good customer service. The seasoning was perfect and definitely everything was fresh. Prices were definitely reasonable so I definitely will be back and highly, highly recommend this Italian restaurant and the thing is I’m from Dallas and have eaten at the Italian restaurants in Dallas but nothing beats this one. Thank you Frenkies I enjoyed my dinner tonight!

Me and my husband came to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. We were not disappointed. I got the baked Tuscany, and my husband got the Meat Stromboli. The baked Tuscany was absolutely delicious. My husband devoured the meat Stromboli. Our server was quick and pleasant. She reccomended the Baked Tuscany.

Who knew that Hillsboro had the most amazing Italian food!! Crazy!! Fried ravioli (homemade ravioli)appetizer was so delicious!! Hubby got veal piccata 😋 so amazing!! I got the branzini seafood with homemade pasta and grilled veggies! ! Absolutely our new favorite place!!!

My husband is New Jersey Italian so we eat at a lot of Italian restaurants (and he’s a good cook too). Frankie’s was a total surprise for us. By far the BEST Italian food we’ve eaten in years! We were in town for two days and went there both days. The chef’s presentation was exquisite too. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. The ambiance lovely. All around fantastic! Totally worth diverting from the interstate to drive a few miles to eat here! I know I will. A small town with a five-star restaurant!

Great fried pickles and fried green tomatoes for an appetizers. Main food was ok nothing special. However our waitress was absolutely amazing!!!! She was very attentive to our needs and especially those with allergies to foods. She provided quick service and our drinks never got empty.

The place is very pleasing and a comfortable environment. The service was excellent, service was fast and the staff was great. The food was delicious and very filling, they don't skimp on the servings size. We really enjoyed our dinner and give them a 5 star👍👍👍👍👍!

Would have been a 5 star across the board, but neither of their online menus, on Google or the pics submitted by clients just a year ago of their menu had the same prices as what I paid when I actually got there. They were not willing to lower the price to what I expected to pay based on what I saw online. They were aware of the problem, and as a first time guest, I placed an order in good faith based on what was shown online. This was not what I paid. Other than that, the food was great.

Independently owned and operated. Generous portions and authentic food. The wait staff is not that friendly but we are talking Italian here. The owner is an amazing chef probably 85 to 90 percent consistent which is great for an independent.

Place was recommended to us due to the home feeling, good food, and best service feeling. On Google, review looked like a good place to eat. After reading all reviews, I decided to try it out and drove 40 mins to try it out. We got sat immediately, the waitress asked for our a drink order, and they were out of Coke, Fanta & Raspberry Ict. Asked for water, & water had a funny taste to it, and it was tap. I settled for a Sprite & my son a Lemonade. They brought out croissant bread with no butter. I dont know if that is normal. We didn't have napkins, utensils, or small plates with it or on the table when we got sat. We ordered garlic cheese bread for appetizer to which came out burnt underneath and my salad was good but no utensils tried to get waitress attention to get utensils, & napkin and another waitress asked if we doing good & she got us the utensils but had a bit of bothered look for me asking for utensils & napkins. For dinner, I got shrimp Alfredo with a toss salad. Pasta was too aldente, shrimp size was good. My son ordered a personal pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, and candian bacon with extra peperoni and cheese for $3.00 for each item, and we couldn't figure out if that was extra or normal serving. My son tried to take a bite of his pizza, and all slid off to his plate. He even waited for the pizza to cool off before taking a bite. Our waitress was sweet but seemed a bit overwhelmed or new to serving. The table next to us had dirty dishes, then dirty cups from being brought from tables that were being cleared up & it would get placed on that table. We had to basically be our own servers in the sense of we had to ask for utensils, napkins, refills because our server was busy & I noticed a server was asking for her help and repeatedly she(my server) told her I can't because she was trying to do her own and she stopped twice to help that other server. So, we were basically not serviced due to our server helping others. That same server who was asking for help over and over to our server was also being rude to another server(she had beautiful arm sleeve tatt) about her timing on the food. I saw that the server was embarrassed for calling her out on that that way due to her facial expression Maybe the rude server should have taken her back in the drinking area and called her attention & not in front of customers. My son felt bad for her. I honestly was not happy and my son saved up for 2 weeks to be able to take me out to dinner. He said the having dinner with me was worth it, but the money spent on the drive, service, food, & drinks wasn't worth it to come again. He wouldn't let me complain & just told me not to come back again. I want to blame being full moon, Friday night or maybe we came in after a rush but we were didn't get the great, good and friendly feeling that was so recommended.

Waited 45 MINUTES and didn’t even get to order the table of EIGHT after us already got their foood and was taken care of hand a foot….——— From the second we walked in, the vibe was off. The hostess (or server? not even sure at this point) was immediately rude about seating and made us feel completely unwelcome. Like… sorry for coming to spend money here? She sat us, and from there it only got worse. Service was painfully slow. No fresh bread, no check-ins, no urgency — just vibes of annoyance. We waited forever just to place our order, and when she finally came around, the attitude was still very much present. Unprofessional, unfriendly, and honestly just disappointing. If you don’t like people, maybe don’t work in hospitality. Would not recommend. We literally paid for the little appetizer and left.

Waited 15 minutes the waitress never came around and took our order. We finally left. this is not the first time last time we were here we had to walk out also because we never got waited on the service. Here is absolutely abominable.
